1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: April 17, 2014, 05:21:25 PM
Here's the truth. There is so much action with this coin right now. Yes whales dumped, but that isn't what caused the crash to 14. It was panic. All the small time traders bailed out also.

Yes there are whales sitting and watching, but they know this coin is going to do nothing but inch higher and higher in the coming days

We will see 40s, 50s, 60s, I wouldn't be shocked if it hits 100.  The whales want to cash out and start the dump as HIGH as possible. The buy orders right now are too thin.

I would get cautious once we enter 65-70 territory. But just keep an eye on the buy orders. That is what whales need to sell. Large buys ON the books. That doesn't exist now. It's just bouncing a bit... Slowly up.

Still looks like a buy to me.

+1 agreed

BC is a strong buy over the next 48 hours till about 60k, unless something fundamental changes (like confirmation on the Tim Hortons thing)

BC would will need some time to consolidate at these prices.

Next week with the release of the blackcoin wallets, I could see BC taking another run at 100k

Exactly, there are not enough buy orders right now for a massive dump. I will continue to buy until the technicals show otherwise. This coin needs no additional buzz. It's already hot topic. Look at the technicals.

Just to reiterate. A 150 BTC sell off of BC would shoot this coin into the teens.  A big dump is not going to happen anytime soon. There's 4000 BTC volume a day alone why would a large BC holder do that.  When the opportunity exists to sell 500 BTC and stay above 30, that my friend is when you want to watch out.

Whales aren't stupid. They pay close attention to "what is possible" and right now a big dump would be a dumb move considering the momentum of this coin, the fact the orders are not there to sell to, and the low risk they possess with so many coins.

EVERYONE. LETS SEND A SUPPORT MSG TO KRAKEN TO ADD BLACKCOIN. TELL THEM WE HAVE INSANE VOLUME. (VOLUME = $$$). They will add us! Filling in the form is really simple

https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

everyone should just keep sending emails to BTC-E.

Mintpal has bigger volume then kraken.

If kraken wants to add that's good ^^, but we have bigger fish to fry.

It's going to be listed on BTC-E. Any day. Any moment really. Trust me. BTC-E wants the volume. They make money on trades. It takes a bit of time to implement the code but no doubt they are working on this at this very moment. I would keep a VERY close eye on this because when it happens it's gonna FLY!
1225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: April 17, 2014, 04:48:37 PM
Think we will see 40s today?
1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: April 17, 2014, 04:42:39 PM
BC shows all the right technicals for a double arch breakout. Looks like we could be seeing a big move any moment.

1227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT]Mintcoin V1.8, Energy Saving Coin *27 Exchanges *45 Merchants on: April 17, 2014, 04:25:44 PM
Seems to have gone a little quiet with the marketing side of things.

Anyone care to update how things are traveling with Merchants, plans etc?

It's hard watching others fly, when MINT has so much to offer. I realise long term is the big goal, but would be nice to see some action.

Not anymore. Something is going on. Huge buys just happened. At sell prices... Someone is digging into this coin quick and buying up.

My question is what don't I know. Not a typical pump tactic to buy at current levels... So is something about to happen that will spike this coin?

Shhhh....

Funny  Wink

Well someone just bought 10BTC at 16 less than 30 minutes ago. Hmmmmm. What don't I know that I want to know Wink

Going to try to get in on some between 14-16. Thanks for the tip.

Interesting will read into that.  Well regardless, someone believes in this coin. Single buys at 10+ BTC are not normal.

1232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rally underway on Mintpal! Microcoin MRC @CoinRocket called it again! on: April 17, 2014, 04:03:03 PM
Right now I'm holding my MRC.

However, keeping a close eye on MINT MINTCoin on Mintpal.

I don't know what's up, but someone is buying in fast at current sell prices.  Not a usual tactic in terms of pumping, which is to get in low. So I'm wondering why... Is there something about to happen?  News?

Take a look. I'm watching closely with this one.
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What is going on with MINT MINTCoin at Mintpal? Huge buys.... Is there news? on: April 17, 2014, 03:59:36 PM
Just curious, someone is buying a lot, in chunks of 10 BTC at current sell levels.... Anyone know anything?

Does this mean a jump is coming?
1234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MINTCoin on Mintpal - What is going on!? on: April 17, 2014, 03:52:38 PM
Someone has for to know something... Why all of the sudden just buy buy buy... Like 10BTC in minutes.
1235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MINTCoin on Mintpal - What is going on!? on: April 17, 2014, 03:36:46 PM
HUGE orders...someone is buying like crazy. Is there news or something I don't know?

Volume spiking 10x normal levels. Doesn't make sense.... Anyone?

1237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Energy and Enthusiasm is Dying. Bitcoiners are Growing Tired. ZZZZzzzzz.... on: April 17, 2014, 06:13:53 AM
Despite the many large investors still hedging on Bitcoin taking over the world, and the spin they push through various media outlets and sites like Coindesk, the truth is that the general Bitcoin community is growing tired.  Tired of falling prices.  Tired of scandals like Mt. Gox. Tired of rigs they invested in not paying off like they hoped. Tired of maintaining those rigs. Summer on its way. AC bills will rise. Price now trading flat, or in my opinion barely holding on to current levels. Scam after scam with companies that promise mining equipment but instead use your money to develop and build the technology only to use it for months and months, earning the BTC for themselves and skyrocketing the difficulty. Crap coin after crap coin which honestly just makes the whole industry look like a joke. Potcoin. Dogecoin. It makes the technology look like a circus for morons yet more coins come out every day and are backed by exchanges that represent the industry. Could you imagine if the NASDAQ was filled with goofy company names like that?

Posts are slowing on the boards. Hashrate is spread so thin across so many coins. And most coins are so thinly traded, even with the bigger ones you'd have a damn hard time liquidating a large value of currency if you had it, the prices are held up by thin buys, and not enough buyers to really dump huge amounts.

I hope I'm wrong.

Well Coindesk published pieces of my original post/rant here. Front page article. Here's the link:  http://www.coindesk.com/is-bitcoin-over-the-hill/

I didn't lambast the alt community. I lambasted scam coins. Joke coins.  Con coins. Coins we should as a community be embarrassed to support in hopes for weak gains at best.

It is something wrong with the heavy pool ? Angry 4 hours and just an orphan block  Cry.

HVC is dead. Get out while you still can.
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HVC] Heavycoin - Ultra-secure, Decentralized Block Reward Voting, Fast on: April 17, 2014, 04:16:22 AM
Let's not talk the coin down. All the negativity pulls down any goodwill that it has. Roll Eyes

Yup...  HVC is dirt cheap folks!!!    Cool

Sadly, without a small adjustment by the devs to the max allowed vote, or a massive change of heart by miners to drop the vote, HVC will stay dirt cheap. Despite a strong effort by a number of HVC faithful to get the vote lower, the downtrend of the vote has reversed course and up it goes. Clearly logic does not trump greed. The events of the past days/week have brought stunning clarity to what will happen to HVC if its value drops and what happens if it rises even a small amount. I am a very outspoken supporter of HVC and will continue to be, but I'm not delusional, something has to change. I know I'm not the first one to say the max vote is too high.

I'm sorry but please explain, why do you continue to be a strong supporter?

This coin is a MASSIVE FAILURE.

It was designed to be GPU proof.  A custom HEFTY1 algorithm. Within a week it was GPU hacked, the developer has all but disappeared except for perhaps a few random posts.

Keep in mind he made off with over what.... 150BTC from the IPO?

Tell me, what have you gotten for all of your hard work, energy, time and lost money?

If anyone still supports HVC they ARE delusional.

PS. I loved this coins concept and supported it and mined it from day one. But seriously... This ship isn't sinking. It has SUNK.  No one will be mining HVC in 3 months. And good luck finding anyone to buy it if you are still holding "to the moon".

Here's a tip.  I'm in the same boat as you all. Lots of wasted time and lots of wasted opportunity where we all could have been generating better revenue mining other ALTs.

Keep your ears open for Maxwell Coin.  Not much talk about it yet but I know the development team personally. Interesting ideas coming together. Will be based around NVIDIAs new Maxwell Architecture, but also mineable by CPU at modest profit/block rewards. Not much else I can say, just keep a look out. Follow my twitter below I'll announce more when I know more and am allowed to.

Good luck till then friends.
