1221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: February 24, 2016, 06:00:29 PM
There are some methods to minimal your losings but other than that there are no safe methods to gamble, there are of course some tips but this will not let you gamble safe.
My first tip is always gamble with low bets and never bet with high amount, do this only of you got too much money and do not know what you to do with it.
Another tip I can give you is do some gambling games but some games where you can have a real tactic, as an example poker, poker is a gamble game where you can really have a tactic and sometimes win.
1222  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: February 24, 2016, 05:46:18 PM
well saving bitcoins is like saving real money, just good thing with bitcoins that it price will go up each year, so you will win from it, also you could use it for shoping in future
Each and every one here and  there are keeping their bitcoins just for their shopping. But the only concern is when they are going to shop. It is up to you how much returns, you are expecting from your bitcoin investment.
It is highly recommended to save more and more bitcoin for your future. Because in future we can expect bitcoin prices go in million. In other words your investments will be multiplied hundred or thousand folds.
You are right. I also think that it will be more worth later, so it is not good to spend it out now around this time.
You must indeed save your Bitcoin, or make now even an investment. So you have more coins. Than you will get some profit maybe in the future.

Yeah, right thing to do mate, just hold it for a while and you would see the difference in future, as you can sell it when price is higher in future, this is not right time to sell.

I think its good to hold the bitcoin of course, but we just have to wait till the halving has been done and than sell, I think if you will save them there is nothing to lose you will not lose any money because of it, I even think you can only get more money out of it.

Its of course a prediction so we will see what is gonna happen with it but I got a good feeling about the halving.

Its very good to hold your bitcoins right now and this is because of a variety of reason why you should hold them for a long term and not sell or spend them by any chance.

The first one is that the halving is coming this year and the market will rise in most cases.
The second one is because of the bitcoin itself the community is getting bigger and more people are getting involved into the bitcoin because of the media.
The last one is due the bitcoin itself if you think about it, bitcoin is the future of all currency's because if you know what most people are predicting everything is gonna be digital.
1223  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: February 24, 2016, 05:36:15 PM
I must say that I not buy a lot of bitcoins these days but that is because of the point I already have them. I used to by them when the price is low on the market, what I also do is looking at the previous days of the market price, its just a security for me so I can predict what is coming.
Of course this is not possible on a long term because you can not predict what is coming these days with the bitcoin.

The best option you can grab now is, buying bitcoins because the time is now good and wait for the halving because the halving is also coming and you could make a lot of profit out of it if you sell and invest on the right times.
1224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin Payments on Steam? on: February 24, 2016, 05:05:32 PM
I think this would open a whole new door for the bitcoin community but also for steam because of the point that they will attract a lot of people because of this.
I also think they should do it because then they are stepping in as a big company into the bitcoin market, at that is a plus point for the whole bitcoin community and the economy of it and its also good for us all. Although there are already a couple that buy steam games in trade of bitcoins but it would be much better if steam would do this directly because they can make profit and we as the users of steam will be buy it directly from them and that makes it more secure and easier for us( no fees).
1225  Economy / Speculation / Re: My BTC Prediction for 2016.. on: February 21, 2016, 05:40:50 PM
Whether the price will rise or not highly depend on the mindset and actions take by the core developers.
I honestly doubt the price will rise if there are no solutions for the current problems; i.e. the block size/transactions.

Remember the block halving isn't a guarantee the price will rise either.
1226  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy down forever? on: February 21, 2016, 05:26:23 PM
i still have there some small amount maybe 0.1 in btc max in different coins but i dont care before this event i manage to transfer my btc ltc dash and doge to another exchange

This 0.1 bitcoin worth of altcoin might worth a lot in a few years time. We need to get our money back.

Most altcoins on cryptsy are scamcoins. Don't expect anything from your holdings there.
But yes they belong to you, and thus they should be restored to you.

We should get it back but they are bankrupt.  We won't be getting it back.

Offcourse you should get it back. It's your money after all. But after the news i doubt all of us will be compensated.
I am very happy i got my coins out just in time.

I know a lot of us will have to wait and wait and eventually won't get it back.
1227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Explain WHY bitcoin will be worth 1-3000 USD on: February 21, 2016, 05:00:36 PM
There is no information that can back up such a claim. In the end it is all about what people are willing to pay for 1 single bitcoin.
Remember that bitcoin is an asset, and with all assets the price is based on speculation and potential.

So no there's no legit claim the price will be guaranteed at a certain value during a certain period of time.
1228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin go to $500 on: February 08, 2016, 01:38:28 PM
Bitcoin maybe goes to 600 or getting low 400 dollars , what guys do you think?

I think it will go to the amount of the 550 dollars.
The bitcoin is of course unpredictable so its not to say what will happen with it.

We just have to be patient and see what will happen with the bitcoin market.
Right now everybody seems to be anticipating on the wrong things; halving, pump, dump etc.
Let's get our attention back to the blocksize.
1229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: February 08, 2016, 12:56:46 PM
I cant see how people can fall into losing huge amounts of money on gambling games. I play for fun and i am pretty much a winning player but i dont ever put my whole roll in jeopardy, if its getting to low its time for a break.

No only some people do it, they think they can win all their losses back.
Its not gonna happen people, gambling is game with many risks.

If you do not wanna lose do not gamble at all, just gamble for fun.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favourite gambling game ? on: February 08, 2016, 12:50:18 PM
yah i also feel the same way. although i like to play dice most of the time, i would at times get bored of it and play some poker and other games like minesweeper etc. it will keep the fun factors up.

That's true, I do that fact even when I'm bored.
But the best bet game I like dice honestly. Poker I find also very nice but I do not so often.

Well dice is very nice to play, but its always a big risk your taking.
There is a big chance that you will lose with dice.

I think the best game to gamble is poker, you can have your own tactic.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: February 08, 2016, 12:45:00 PM
NO, there is no safe way for gambling. If you don't want to take the risk, then you won't earn the profit.

Gambling is just for fun. That is true for most people (gamblers). It can earn living for very few professionals.

gambling has to be enjoyable for people.
Not for the addictive that lose every penny they have.

I think there is no safe way to gamble, there is always a chance that you will lose.
1232  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more profitable? Skill-based games or Lucky-based games? on: February 07, 2016, 04:38:39 PM
First of all none of them are profitable.

Secondly both are very risky and it's 100% certain you won't make any more on the long term.

Luck based games are just a gamble out in the open.
With cards or skill based gambles there is actually a chance you will win and which you control.

This factor makes skill-based gambles have improve your chances to win.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 07, 2016, 04:20:20 PM
Personally i think most of the people who lost want to earn back their losing.
They play and keep playing until they don't have any more to gamble with.

In the end their addiction will ruin their life.
1234  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: February 07, 2016, 04:12:51 PM
hi i think that bitcoin is getting more and more popular these days so i think its value grows up.

yeah,, probably adoption would really bring good vibes to bitcoin world, and I also think that price would go up if many would start to invest in bitcoin..  Smiley

Of course the price will go up when many people start to invest in Bitcoin, that's a normal thing to happen. Nothing special. It's just a matter of time before we see more investors come into Bitcoin to diversify their portfolio.

It also depends on the active development of the bitcoin in the mean time. If there is not development, bitcoin will die.

Looks few probably that this happens, if you consider for example the miner industry, storage devices, services, etc... eventually the development goes on the same direction that use. On next 5 years 70 % of population aproximately will have smartphones probably, so even if those will use anothers coins, This will use always a  standard measure like to BTC. So billions of devices availables PCs, smartphones, tablets etc.... will do transactions using a standard measure.

Well yes and no. There is just so much people can use their equipment for.
In the end it will just stop.

But then there is the development part. There has been zero to 0 real improvements. Which means developers either believe the code is finished or
there is no time/resources for active development.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: February 07, 2016, 04:08:22 PM
You can earn a lot with gambling but its also very risky.
It depends on how much you invest in the game to make money and profit.

Yeah gambling can make you earn quite a bit of money. But on the other hand you can lose too.
For me gambling is just a way of entertainment myself.
There is no way I would gamble for money.
1236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: February 06, 2016, 11:57:35 PM
LOL! OP created an entire thread trying to rebuke my position that gambling just ends you broke. OP must work for a casino or something. Either that or they are hopelessly addicted to gambling. Oh well, I guess they're addicts everywhere. How much money do you borrow from you friends to make those millions, OP?

Well yes you must be really stupid if you think this is true.
For sure gambling can give you some winning, but in the end, it will not be profitable. There is no way this can happen.

So yes either OP works for a casino, or OP's a madman.
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 06, 2016, 11:42:15 PM
Just wanted to know that what are your favourites on the match between India vs Sri Lanka? I see some wonderful odds are being offered on Sri Lanka(3.1x) on betbtc.co but I am too afraid to bet on them. India is doing great in T20s and does anyone think Lankans can get it?

Obviously India is favorite if you compared with Sri Lanka. If you look at the India's T20 squad, its very balanced and all of them are in terrific form and there full of confidence after beating australia by 3-0. On other hand SL in little weak side in front of India, their main pillars of batting are no longer in team; likes of Sangakkara and Jaywardene.
In T20s, India has been the best team so far and even I won 2 bets out of 3 when I bet for the current T20 matches between IND-AUS. I had a doubt in the last game but they managed to get the runs in the last over, last ball.

Indian has been a solid team for like ages. Sure there were some problems in the past but overall they play to win every game.
My bet is for them.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 06, 2016, 11:37:33 PM
Well Internazionale is condemned to win tomorrow against last place if they want to stay in as contenders to the title(although this is almost impossible now) , and Hellas Verona has only 1 victory.  Sounds like an easy win ,although anything can happen as the ball is a circle Smiley

True but remember Inter is Inter. They have done stranger things in the past and my bet is they will do it again.
Even though i am a Fan of AC Milan, i've learned to never underestimate Inter.
1239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 06, 2016, 11:33:21 PM
Hamburger SV vs Koln
Hamburger SV will try to collect all three points. But Koln may be a tough nut to crack. Nevertheless, the hosts want to stop bad series on their pitch. So, this will be a very uncertain game. In any case, I expect Under 2.5 Goals

Easy win for Hamburg.
I don't count FC Koln a contender in every match .They've got a weak team and will not be able to deliver.
1240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favourite gambling game ? on: February 06, 2016, 09:48:12 PM
Dice without any confusion this one is my most favorite game to do gambling there, i like to play on slots games and as well as on poker too, love to bet with liver dealers it best way to have fun while gambling online. Grin

My most favorite gambling game is dice. I think this fact so much. I do it at least 4 times a week. But the money has not often do it because otherwise touches also.
I think you should not have too many games even if you find it a lot.
Dice is a good game to play but I've noticed that the returns aren't so profitable as sports betting where you can earn a lot with just 1 bet. I tried betting twice recently and followed the sports thread in the Gambling section and I won both my bets. I have found this better than dice.
Well, there is more skill/knowledge involved with sportsbetting. With dice, you're just completely dependant on luck, nothing else.

Luck and luck alone. Altough let's face it Soccer bets are based on games which can turn around very easily if the referee make some weird decisions.
The underdog can win a game with a free penalty or a unfair red card.
