Interesting, but I reckon this will probably just become their version of Paypal. Probably all hope will be lost for them accepting BTC if they come out with this.

No, just rumours at the moment. Maybe they will in the future, maybe the wont, nobody knows.

Cex aka Computer Exchange now pay for goods in Bitcoin: https://uk.webuy.com/

Hopefully they'll accept payment in BTC soon.

Did you remove all alt coins?
12206  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your view on cannabis? on: April 14, 2014, 09:40:03 PM

Hard Drugs are dangerous
Lol, cannabis can hardly be seen as a hard drug, can it?

Well ... skunk,  sqn etc. Might contain some chemical add ons and in some cases it might be more  harmful than a usual  stuff.

But anyway.  If you smoke pure flowers cut from a bush, dried up etc. Then I might say it is not as harmful as any other drug.

Some people like to smoke and get stoned,  some people not.

Chemical add ons? 'Skunk' just has higher THC levels.

Yeah, looked pretty but was pretty dull (like my ex girlfriend haha). I think the movie could've been better cast too. I'm sure a couple of unknowns would've given better performances.

I thought George Clooney was terribly miscast. It was almost like he thought he was in a romantic comedy. His dialogue made no sense at all considering the situation they were in, or the fact they were supposed to be astronauts fighting for their lives.

Yeah, he just played typical Smug George Clooney (has he ever played anything else?). Sandra Bullock's noises annoyed me too. If you were spinning off into space I'm sure you'd be screaming not going 'woah-woah' like you'd just slipped on some ice  Cheesy.

The winners have a contract with coinroll.it, who has a contract with John. K. We should be going after them, and they get to worry about John. K.

Might be your best bet, but I'm sure they'll just say it's out of their hands. Doubt they're going to shell out another 100BTC prize though.
12209  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don't ever use Virgin Media! >_< on: April 14, 2014, 09:21:21 PM
Well I'm not familiar with the company but I do thank you for the warning.  Got to be very careful these day.

You've not heard of Virgin or Richard Branson?

Activity should be going up today for everyone.

It's tomorrow, unless it's the 15th already in your country.

Wonder if there'll be any changes to the rates to compete with Ritz or if the affiliate links will become active/allowed?

The "sig war" has been intense.
It will be really interesting to see how the rates look in a couple of months.
If bitcoin is going to rise then I don't think any one going to rise these rates and if its hangs around 450$ to 600$ then may be we have some rise in rates in near future

Well Stunna will have to if he wants to keep the highest paid signature.

Mine usually goes up the 1st and the 14th i think...

The dates will be different. It was the 4th and 18th last month. Same for everybody.

instead of crying about it on a forum. contact them yourself and correct them.

email is your sword, correcting them is your battle. don't be afraid, no blood will be spilt...

its just an email after all.

I have proposed putting together a small community of people from this site, and others, who focus entirely on the "Comments" section beneath articles.

To correct the misinformation from the article itself, and the absurd retard-fest that always ensues in the Comments area by the readers.

Don't email the author.   Write a comment under the article so both the author, and every reader sees the correction.

Don't be a dick about it.  Sound smart, grounded, and rational.  Bad attitude will overshadow the information you're conveying.

Haha. Our own Bitcoin FUD Army?
12212  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to deal with stress? on: April 14, 2014, 04:37:49 PM
why not?

have you heard of that monk that putten himself on fire in order to demonstrate, he didn't make a noise, he didn't even move, he died

that kind of concentration means we can to anything we want to as long as we focus hard enough Wink

How does setting yourself on fire compare to this?
12213  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Webuy.com in UK now pays out in Bitcoin!! on: April 14, 2014, 04:35:07 PM
Got confused for a second here.

I saw Cex and thought of the exchange, but clearly this isn't CEX.IO.

Looks like a trade in site or marketplace.

It's a trade in site/store and it's a great franchise.

I wonder if they'll start accepting Bitcoins too?

Watched the movie "Joe" with Nicholas Cage last night. Pretty sad but well acted movie.

Nicolas Cage. Well acted. Does not compute  Grin.

Lol, typically I would agree, but you have to watch to see.

I'll watch it but I'm sceptical. Is his performance really that good?
12216  Other / Off-topic / Re: Some rappers who we think are bitcoiners... on: April 14, 2014, 04:27:29 PM
So beside being a bitcoin expert, I am also a true hip hop head.

I think one of the people that is always on my list of possible bitcoiners. I feel like Atomsphere is a bitcoiner. His raps are so deep one of his raps that points me to him to be a bitcoiners is "Vampires" from "God Loves Ugly".

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEBfCVIRcDA

Who would you guys pick as bitcoiners based on their raps?

What part of that song makes you think he'd be into Bitcoins? Isn't that album like over a decade old?

I know Snoop mentioned them but don't know whether he's got any.
12217  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Webuy.com in UK now pays out in Bitcoin!! on: April 14, 2014, 04:15:24 PM
I can't find anything about this on google. It's not even on Cex's news page.

Oh, you should add Cex or Computer Exchange to the title. Pretty much everyone refers to it as Cex.
12218  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Webuy.com in UK now pays out in Bitcoin!! on: April 14, 2014, 04:06:32 PM
Woah, that is awesome. Big Fan of Cex. When did this become available? I was going to trade in some stuff there this week. I wonder if the give you this option in store or is it just online?
12219  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you virgin? on: April 14, 2014, 03:41:28 PM
Question should be why aren't you virgin . I don't think there are many virgins here on the forum.
I think there are usually many virgins on such forums lol.

Most Bitcoin users live in couple.

I think a good percentage will be 20-something geeky singletons with little female experience haha.

just like you?

Haha. I set myself up for that one. No. Like Lethn  Grin.
