12222  Other / New forum software / Few suggestions on: April 07, 2015, 05:31:54 PM
I would like to suggest a few changes for the new forum:

1. Having an Advanced search feature which would fetch results based on the topics created/replies of a particular user. It could also have an option to sort the results date wise and could be customized.

2. Ability to have a post ID reflected in the "Show new replies to your posts." results . For eg: The results would reflect the Subject of the thread and the post ID/s of the user.

3. Notifications via email for a feedback received.

4. A text box besides the delete button of a post to select one or many posts and delete them.

12223  Other / Meta / Re: How to know User Thread? on: April 07, 2015, 05:06:46 PM
Normally SMF supports that feature but I'm not sure about SMF 1.1.19.
But a 3rd party application may be coded easily.
It works like that;
Get all user posts,
Eliminate all posts whose title starts with RE:
Check the post id on each topic to decide the first post or not.
Voila!

If I've free time I can code something like that.

@bold: I dint get this feature. Will my post ID be reflected or the user's post ID I am searching for? It would be good to have my post ID reflected in the results that appear under "Show new replies to your posts".

Also, is there any suggestion thread where I can suggest new features?

Like the OP wants to search the threads a particular user has created, it would be better if the option is added in an "Advanced" button below the Search bar. One can customize the search results based on the topic created/replied by a particular user or also search the subject of a thread and so on.
12224  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS destroys Syrian Church on Easter Sunday on: April 07, 2015, 10:34:51 AM
Another interesting article about of what is happened:

According to Syrian state news agency SANA, the 80-year-old St Mary's Church in Tel Nasri - an Assyrian village in an area where Christian and Kurdish militia have been fighting Isis - has been destroyed by the jihadist group. The report did not reveal if there were any causalities. It is suggested that the Isis operation on Easter Sunday was aimed at eliminating the Christian and Kurdish militia groups. The Church of Our Lady Mary, built in 1934, was one of Syria's oldest churches.

http://www.ibtimes.co.in/syria-isis-booby-traps-ancient-al-hasakah-church-kill-assyrian-fighters-easter-sunday-628245

They are mainly targeting days like Easter and New Year for their attacks. It's just inhuman that they destroyed a church just because they disregard other religions. Fortunately this time, no human life was harmed.
12225  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Muhammed Zakir on: April 07, 2015, 10:08:46 AM
You can post in the Meta section while being banned but only to ask a query about your ban or to appeal. I don't think posting about a Scam Accusation is allowed while being banned.

12226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: looks like i've been hacked - please help me understand what's happening on: April 07, 2015, 09:36:57 AM
Probably this address hacked your account:

1DN1VGT7DcfpjaS3R43quv2ZpbYxUumHVv on 28th March.

Then it sent that amount to 1EsBPY677Dbft6FT39zJQYsVU5CC3QWRJw on 2nd April

Then    1B8XBJ3g7sNZj4AUtJ15UgcfE3waYw7pPL on 6th April and this address seems to be the scammers bitcoin address as it has many transactions.

And this address was noted here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=739917.0 (and this address is known for scamming many members). Any way of finding out who owns this address?

12227  Other / Meta / Re: i have a feeling i have too many post counts on: April 07, 2015, 09:04:43 AM
If you think you have not spammed and since you are not wearing any paid signature, there's nothing to worry. I checked your earlier posts and there is no issue with your posts/comments.
12228  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any Faucet that pays directly to XAPO wallet... on: April 07, 2015, 08:29:34 AM
http://bitcoinaliens.com/faucet/index.php This faucet also pays 200-600 Satoshis every 5 minutes and minimum amount to cashout is 5500 satoshis which get paid directly to your xapo wallet.

not excatly a faucet but at http://www.paidbooks.com/books you get paid for reading e-books. withdrawal is to xapo. It's a nice idea in my opinion and powered by bitcoin aliens.

Thanks for sharing this website. Can you tell me how much bits do you earn for reading one ebook and the minimum payout of this site?
12229  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer megtykay off this forum. on: April 07, 2015, 08:27:24 AM
I have his/her paypal address which I linked to this forum, I can screen shot it and the Skype conversation? do I just PM admin to tell them please?

Unfortunately, Admin/Mods do not moderate SCAMs on this forum. You can upload any proofs you have in this thread itself and if any member finds the scammer on this forum, leaving a negative feedback can make us aware of him as a scammer.
12230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Jesus going to Pay my Rent today ? on: April 07, 2015, 08:19:04 AM
If they are delaying it because of Public Holidays, then you need to obey the banking rules. Why blame Easter or any other holiday for the delay? All banks have the same rules and even I get upset by the number of holidays they take. How many days have you to wait for your money?
12231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BurtW arrested on: April 06, 2015, 05:47:55 PM
... The law does not allow details of a criminal offense to be shared online and these all facts will be used against the accused. I'm sure his lawyer also must have told him the same. It's not advised to share the details even after the accused is free.

Wonder if Burt's wife knows about this, she sure wrote up a storm...

Gosh, all the details have been shared  Undecided It's not allowed and the court as well can make BurtW and his wife remove the content. I guess nobody has reported this website.
12232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BurtW arrested on: April 06, 2015, 05:25:23 PM

This is why it is generally advisable not to speak publicly about your case prior to it being resolved as everything you say can and will be used against you. (I am sure everything he talks about is cleared with his attorney ahead of time though)

That's so true. The law does not allow details of a criminal offense to be shared online and these all facts will be used against the accused. I'm sure his lawyer also must have told him the same. It's not advised to share the details even after the accused is free.

12233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No collateral!!! on: April 06, 2015, 05:11:47 PM
I quite enjoy reading the lending section. Particularly because of the newbies asking g for loans. However what I'm noticing is NOBODY seems to ask for a loan having got collateral. There's a sticky that says you need it but nobody ever has any yet loans still get given.

No wonder people keep coming back asking for insecure loans. Those are the only loans given here...

I've seen newbies giving their forum accounts or altcoin accounts as collateral while senior members don't give any collateral but are given a loan based on their reputation or trust. The loan givers should be just careful as senior accounts can be sold as well earlier and it could be a scammer who is asking for a loan.

I also like Microsoft Essentials but none of these antivirus software can detect crucial viruses.

Do you have info on neteller?

Neteller chargebacks occur if the sender's account was funded with a stolen credit card. You can read their T & C here: https://member.neteller.com/mobile/document/terms
12238  Other / Meta / Re: [Serious] Avatar Rules Discussion on: April 05, 2015, 07:01:09 PM
I believe an Avatar is an image that either represents the person or his belief/likes (in a DECENT way). It is also the matter of decency when it comes to an open forum like this and so that user (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=358121) should upload an image that is decent enough and not an image that makes other members uncomfortable. I also don't like the Avatar of VOD as well and some users too add Signatures which are so indecent. This is a bitcoin forum and not an adult forum where such images should be allowed.
12239  Other / New forum software / Re: Ignore a user's avatar and signature buttons on: April 05, 2015, 05:52:04 PM
I support this idea as some people have really annoying/indecent Avatars and it would be better to just ignore the user's Avatar rather than ignoring all the Avatars.
12240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best payment option for selling BTC on: April 05, 2015, 03:18:02 PM
Bank Transfer/Cash payments/Perfect Money/OKPay are some payment methods which are safe and non reversible. Even Payza is safe to use and exchange bitcoins. If you want to use PayPal, Localbitcoins and Virwox are some good exchangers but the fees are high.
