That is decentralized wallet I think hackers don't know your profile did not easily break your private key.

"Decentralized wallet". What does that even means?
What are you talking about?

Anyway, Hackers don't break keys, they steal them..

Question:  What is a stealth address? How does it work and how does one use them?

The stealth address is a method where additional security can be granted to a user of a cryptocurrency. For example, if someone wanted to receive a number of tokens of a cryptocurrency from a sender as a payment for work, but didn’t want anyone else to know about it, then they could give the sender a stealth address. When the sender sends the funds to the receiver, a random unique address is created where the funds will be shown to have gone on the blockchain. What this means is there is no link between the stealth address and any other transaction address the receiver may have used. This therefore provides a layer of anonymity because no one will be able to see how the receiver spent their received funds.

But now, we have the merit system... So what if, instead of quantity of posts per week, we had quality of posts per week ? What if, instead of 15 posts a week, you had to get 1 merit a week ?

The thing is, you never know if your comment is going to be merited or not.

Many times you make a very simple comment and someone for some reason likes it, and you get a merit, or even more.
In other situations you make a big research and put a lot of effort in a post, many people like and agree with you, but you don't get any merit.

If people are forced to get 1 merit per week to be paid, this will generate a lot of stress and people would be posting to get merits. Soon they would be begging for it.
getting merit does not depends solely on your efforts, you can't login and say "I will get one merit today".

I think merit requirement for joining campaigns is better.
This is why I gave up this idea...

I think the merit system should be changed to a more community-voted system. Where a post needs thumbs up from a certain amount of people to receive merit, and constant thumbs down can make you lose it.

You cannot have a voting system or a democracy when any spammer can make an army of accounts controlled by bots to vote.

12226  Economy / Economics / Re: FED has increased interest rates, ECB will do the same! on: June 18, 2018, 12:14:24 AM
I think this higher interest rate may have a negative effect on crypto (not much)
The crypto space is more or less disconnected from the traditional markets So it has nothing to gain(lose) from the change of interest rate. If there is a negative effect we will hardly see it. The FED changes are irrelevant when you such have high volatility in the crypto markets.

Crypto isn't entirely disconnectd from traditional markets. Many people borrowed fiat to buy crypto, and the rising interest rates won't help them.

Also - some people went into crypto simply because interest rates were so low they were searching for an alternate income. But once interest rates normalise, the money should flow back to traditional investments.

yeah, that's exactly why I said it may have a negative effect on crypto.
Raise in interest rates will make  the money from all types of investments to bonds.
12227  Other / Meta / Re: Ask? How if we dont have merit? on: June 17, 2018, 12:11:52 PM
Heloo guys... I'm not so good in english. And very seldom to post in this forum. I can not post some informative post. So, it is gonna be hard to get merit for me.My question is, how if we dont have any merit? Do we can't be a higher rank?

You are writing better than 95% of the spammers around the forum. I can see you put some effort in writing this post in English. That's good.

My suggestion: Research and post in your local board something good. Then translate it and post in English in the main boards.
You will learn English along the way and receive merits in both topics.

12228  Other / Serious discussion / Re: A good resource with ICO performance information on: June 17, 2018, 10:34:22 AM
Hi, does anyone know a good site with ICO data such as average token price in ICO, starting price, trends and performance, etc... I am not looking for raw data which I can probably find looking here and there, but to processed and aggregated information if possible.

Icodrops has all this information you are seeking. Try it.
https://icodrops.com/ico-stats/

the financial data you are asking for is there. I use this website a lot.
12229  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 17, 2018, 01:16:51 AM
+  a few more months would fit a little better. If the chart is to be validated, taking this as a short wave,  expect a resuming uptrend before the end of 2018. If the present trend is turning into a long bowl formation, then a low of =/- $3k, and a return to ath by 2021 still keeps the log trend intact.

You are catastrophe announcer. FFS!

3k! Omg I would have to buy more!
12230  Other / Meta / Re: Inaccessible Bounty Threads on: June 17, 2018, 01:08:23 AM
There must be a reason for a bounty to be deleted. There are many many bounties out there, and most of them are not deleted.

Probably it was a scam and/or the thread was abusing forum rules.

I came to an agreement with the guilty party so the proof will not be shown.  I'll leave it at that.

Agreement? What kind of agreement?
Sex for the proof or merit for the proof? Lol
12232  Other / Meta / Re: Report to merit sources - to give them merits. on: June 17, 2018, 12:02:35 AM
I really understand the OP.

It's hard to get exposure to merit sources . One thing that really helped me to get exposure of my comments was Joe's campaign
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3784164.0
Unfortunately it's paused now for like 2 months already Sad

It was very good because there were good posters there. Joe also made a nice selection of posts so merit sources could just go there and merit them. They were not random posts.

I wish we could have more campaigns like this one.
12233  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about сontemporary art? on: June 16, 2018, 08:48:46 PM
That's right, that used, dirty, who-knows-what's-in-it bed sold for £2.2M at an auction. Modern art is basically just a money laundering scheme now.

Finally I discovered what modern art is for: money laundering. Thank you.

I never understood what was going on with those modern art museums, those "artists" with so much money.
12234  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How is the economy of your country recently? on: June 16, 2018, 08:44:12 PM
In Brazil we are fuked up.

I made a nice report of ours truckers strike crisis few days ago, take a look here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4424796.msg39470325#msg39470325

About the trucker's strike, everything began in the 50s, when a President called Juscelino Kubitschek created a Keynesian economic plan that would make our country grow "50 years in 5 years".
He was working with the famous (among socialists worldwide) Keynesian economist Celso Furtado, which ruined our economy a few times.

Juscelino thought that the best for Brazil was to build roads connecting the whole country, ignoring all other means of transportation. He got very high loans, which we are probably still paying for them.

As a result of his plans we do not have railroads or waterways in Brazil (a few only), and almost everything is transported by trucks. Truckers and trucker's unions are a strong category here in Brazil.
This is terrible for our economy as Brazil is a big country and transporting products on trucks is expensive. We pay for this expensive transportation in every product we consume.

The correct board for this is meta, not serious discussion.
12236  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How safe is my wallet at blockchain.info on: June 16, 2018, 04:46:53 PM
Your funds are safe as long as the website or wallet continues to function without major hack. Cry

That's not true.
The website can go down and you still have access to your funds, since blockchain.info provides the seed phrase to restore in another wallet.
12237  Economy / Economics / Re: So many threads being made but most of them are rubbish. on: June 16, 2018, 04:43:00 PM
It's true, most of the  threads here are rubbish and non sense.
Exactly like this one. You got it, +1 post and +1 on my ignore list.
12238  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware wallet 2.0 - Making them for the smartphones as a mobile case. on: June 16, 2018, 02:47:25 PM
Ledger nano S can already be used on mobiles smartphones ,as they have an app for that.

Agreed. But can you carry them everywhere, and use it on the go?

Yes. You need Mycellium or Copay app. You need some also some adapter which costs like $5 to connect the ledger and the mobile.

Let people gamble. They are not doing any harm to anyone, maybe harming themselves.

You think you are "protecting people from themselves", but you are causing a greater damage than what you want to combat.
