12221  Economy / Exchanges / e-coin.io users ? on: September 08, 2015, 04:30:49 PM
Hey there ,

I'd like to hear from users who have used this e-coin.io and tell me how legit and how good it is , they can't ship their card to my country however I emailed them and they said they will enable Virtual cards within a month (that happened yesterday) , I checked the website once again today and seems like they added Virtual cards (so not sure wtf is going on) .

Anyway I asked them on email how I will be able to get the Virtual card if they are asking me about real informations and Algeria is not listed on the countries ;.. so they told me "Be Creative . LOL"

So what I did is making fake informations I got the number of the Visa , expiration date and also the CVV and I would like to hear from users who already used this card on PayPal to know if I risk to get my account limited or that's fine ? thank you !
12222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / PayPal Pulls Out of Puerto Rico; Huge Opening for Bitcoin on: September 08, 2015, 02:19:44 PM

The original online payment platform, PayPal, has decided to leave the populous island of Puerto Rico next month. The country has imposed a 2 percent take on any money transmission, forcing Paypal’s hand. So what does this mean for those who need to send money from Puerto Rico?

The bitcoin alternative

Where does bitcoin fall into this? It would make a perfect substitute for Paypal, as many in the West feel it is destined to replace PayPal in years to come. Not only would it work in a faster and more secure fashion completing within 10-60 minutes instead of 1-7 days, but it would be fairly difficult for these cryptographic funds to be taxed by government. Maybe the world’s most technologically advanced nation, the United States, could actually watch every transaction, and figure out where it came from and from whom, but Puerto Rico?

In reality, taxing each bitcoin transaction would be quite a feat to accomplish for any government, regardless of where you are. Every time a government makes an economic mistake, and imposes a new tax to cover for it can force the citizens to make economic countermeasures against such impositions.

PayPal will end its service for Puerto Ricans moving money off of the island on October 30, 2015.

12224  Other / New forum software / Re: Bitcoin price on Trust ? on: September 08, 2015, 11:24:50 AM
This is a bitcoin forum, mate. So,

1BTC = 1BTC  Cool

There are going to be arguments like:
Why in dollars? Why not Euro? Why not equivalent price in Gold? Why not an altcoin?

Edit: May be a profile feature that will allow users to select the currency they want.

I really expected an answer like this Grin and I agree on the part of 1BTC = 1BTC and that's why for example theymos never changed the donation amount to become Donator or VIP member on the forums but it's just to protect people from getting scammed .
and yes why not select the currency on the profile , most of people use Euro and Dollar anyway .
12225  Other / New forum software / Bitcoin price on Trust ? on: September 08, 2015, 10:39:36 AM
What I'am suggesting here is to add "Bitcoin price at that time" Cell on the trust settings which make it looks like this on our profiles :

User | Date | Risked BTC amount | Bitcoin price at that time | Reference | Comments

I'am not sure how much the price was in 2010 but this is just an example , so let's assume that I'am a scammer :

Let's say the price was 1$ / BTC and I traded 20 BTC with a user in 2010 , this makes it a 20$ trade and that user is on DefaultTrust and he left positive trust on my account .
In 2015 (assuming price is 250$) I decided to make another trade of a value of 0.5 BTC with another member and this member like others will take a look on my trust profile and see the transaction that I made etc ...
Most of people would go first with this kind of people who have more then 20 BTC on their profiles (from high ranked and trusted memebrs)

So basically the user I trade with would think he is safe since I traded more then 20 BTC (20$) but he would assume it's 20 BTC (5000$) with the current rates if he ignore the date / didn't take attention / or simply d on't know much about BTC and that the price was so low before.

Sorry if I didn't express  my self good enough and if you didn't understand my english post so I try to explain more Grin let me know what you think of the idea most of all .

12226  Economy / Services / Re: Need help with Escrow.com or Dn.com on: September 08, 2015, 09:21:38 AM
Hi,
I want to sell my domain name and client said he prefer to use Escrow.com or Dn.com and i am not familiar with Escrow.com or Dn.com. I need a help from a person who is great with Escrow.com or Dn.com. Sale the domain name for me using Escrow.com or Dn.com to my client. I need trusted persons only member rank hero +. I can give 3% as fee charge for doing this.

I never used both of the website or tested them but it shouldn't that hard if you read this : https://escrow.com/services/domain-and-website-escrow/how-domain-escrow-works.aspx
In case you need trusted members or your client is from Bitcointalk then use one of those members : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0

Can someone suggest me WesternUnion->Bitcoin trusted and fast exchanger?

Check this out : How can I buy bitcoins using Western Union , I personally never used the website listed there so I can't tell you how legit or fast they are .
you could also try using LocalBitcoins or trade with members on the currency exchange section (always make sure to use a trusted escrow) .
12228  Economy / Services / Re: Method to Verify my paypal ? on: September 08, 2015, 08:56:32 AM
@melisande Those kind of cheap things need at least Paypal or credit card which I cannot provide and don't accept Bitcoin
@wyde666 our banks don't provide anything virtual , you need to make an account and deposit at least 1000 Euro + 50000 DA (our currency) which is ~500 USD to get the Visa card . Yes they are trying to make my life easier ...  Cry Cry
@mdgreasyjohn wtf  Huh
12229  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: BANK OF AMERICA VBA ( BOA VBA ) INSTANT Verify Paypal - Without confirm phone on: September 08, 2015, 07:29:59 AM
You said "ID & PASS FOR INSTANT VERIFY" what does that means ? are we going to get ID and pass for Bank of america website or something ?
Also does this Virtual bank account work on any PayPal account or only on the USA ? I may be interested on buying this ! (you should agree to use an escrow)
12230  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is bitcoin.tax/mtgox legit? on: September 08, 2015, 07:13:51 AM
Just by looking to the domain name you should name that it dosen't look professional at all , they will probably use the informations you provide for Mtgox to get your coins back for them selfs and not to contact you .
website is having like ~100 visitor per days (and what kind of le git website have that) which could be even fake using traffic exchange platforms . I'd recommend you to stay out of it

Still , you can see that someone is promoting on CNN website on the comments : http://money.cnn.com/2015/01/07/technology/bitcoin-taxes/
and there is a thread on Bitcointalk about it here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1023971.0 , the founder seem to be him : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=257282 however he wasen't actif since May 2015
for what comes to the tax service you may wanna check this LibraTax (never tried it) but there is an article about it on Coindesk : http://www.coindesk.com/libra-bitcoin-tax-service-irs-guidance/
12231  Economy / Services / Re: Method to Verify my paypal ? on: September 07, 2015, 08:02:39 PM
Paypal have different type of accounts per country namely send only accounts, receive only account and account that have both functions, all you have to do is to check the category that your country belongs to but to the best of my knowledge most African countries are send only accounts.
If your country belongs to send only nations you can get it verified but you will still not be able to receive paypal funds.

So what the hell I should do , if I make US Paypal account it will get limited if I'am not from the U.S and my informations aren't right ? .
FOr what comes to my country on the "Receive" tab page it says that I need to verify it with either U.S Bank account or Visa card then I will be able to receive just fine .

Don't mess with it unless you get a real U.S. bank/card. If you put a fake one in there you will inevitably have your money frozen.

Yeah well that's what I'am asking here , is there is anyway to get one of those ? even if it's paid
If you need it that bad simply open a new paypal account with permanent and dedicated usa ip address and verify it with a VBA cards of $10.
Enjoy but only log into your account when necessary.

and how exactly I'am supposed to get permanent and dedicated USA IP while  I'am on Algeria ?? Unless I buy VPS which should be expensive for sure .
12232  Economy / Exchanges / Re: scamming on: September 07, 2015, 05:40:30 PM
Hello I am wondering two things I would like anybodies help please, I have been on YouTube and Google and there are people saying xapo is a scam and I don't know how true this is. And secondly I do have a bit coin account with xapo but it won't let me transfer or do anything else because I don't have a passport is there any way past this? Thanks for your help

Users above gave their opinions while using Xapo services , I will give you mine while I never used it before on my life .
Xapo and those kind of wallets or exchange website that asks you for real informations (ID , passport , Residence etc... )  defeats the whole purpose of using bitcoin IMO which is "being annonymus" , I personally don't recommend using them (dosen't matter if they are big or small amounts really) Other then that I've seen some people using it and they never complained about their services .

12233  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] Gokano.com account on: September 07, 2015, 04:54:37 PM
Selling an account on Gokano , the account have about 44 PTS
Since I know that I may not be in time with the restock I decided to sell it and save both time and effort , Next restock will take place 15th September.

12234  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum wallet locked? on: September 07, 2015, 03:23:55 PM
I use keepass to store login details for my electrum wallet so 100% correct that the password is correct however its returning a error that the key isnt valid

If it says it's incorrect then it's incorrect , you probably by mistake deleted the AppData folder or updated another wallet file to electrum to read otherwise it would make sense .
I'am not sure if electrum allow you to export private keys without the need of the passwords , if it does then export them and import them to another wallet
12235  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Btc's fees in Neteller on: September 07, 2015, 03:13:22 PM
I've read this before yeah , they are taking advantage because they saw a lot of people using it I guess in case someone don't accept neteller peopl deposit to neteller to send to people .
I personally don't find it useful at all and it's really shitty because it wouldn't make sense to deposit then not being able to use it to get the card or use it on Online shopping or real life shopping ,  you can only money transfer between users . (and not sure if the user you send to is able to use them on shopping later or not ) , either way ... screw them there is e-coin.io which seem to be a great alternative but can't shipped to my country sadly
12236  Economy / Services / Re: Method to Verify my paypal ? on: September 07, 2015, 02:38:52 PM

12237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bticoin core recover wallet from bitcoin address on: September 07, 2015, 11:06:20 AM
You should know that it's impossible to recover a wallet/coins from only the adresses otherwise the whole world will get his coins hacked , right ?
So, If you have the wallet.dat file which is supposed to have your public and private keys etc ... you should be able to get your coins back by importing it here : https://blockchain.info/wallet/import-wallet
Make sure to send them to your Desktop wallet once you do that , because keeping your coins in a Online wallet for a long time isn't a good idea .
12238  Economy / Services / Re: Method to Verify my paypal ? on: September 07, 2015, 10:56:02 AM
Using a visa from Algeria will still only let you send money, not withdraw.

The only way is to either get a US bank account online (which is not easy nor cheap) or just spend any incoming funds.

It does let you withraw your funds as far as I know and I asked people who did that actually , you withraw from your Paypal account to your Bank account related with that Visa card .
Also I personally don't care much about the withraw part , I only want to be able to send and receive using PayPal . I was using Payoneer Bank account (Bank of america) but it dosen't work anymore for some reasons and my old account got limited after 2 years without any issues Undecided
12239  Economy / Services / Method to Verify my paypal ? on: September 07, 2015, 09:20:34 AM
I know a lot of people are going to contact me with some kind of bullshit to give me some informations to get my account verified however they will still have control on that account then get me screwed ... so don't .

I have my Paypal account now and it's Verified however not fully verified it's only Verified using Neteller MasterCard which means I 'am only able to send money and receive send any money .

It says here that to get it fully verified I need to use either U.S Bank account or Visa card issued in Algeria (my country)
I was going to use e-coin.io which seems to work fine from what I heard however they don't ship to my country which is shitty so .. yep let me know guys if anyone of you have a solution of this . I'd appreciate it (also let me know how much you want)
12240  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Buy FB old accounts on: September 07, 2015, 08:16:02 AM
