Personally, I just use the Edge wallet[1] app. Yes, they don't give you access to your private keys, but I don't care. I only store a maximum of $20-$30 on that wallet anyway, just so if I need to use a small amount of bitcoin when I'm out. Why do I use it? It just works decently. That's pretty much it. If you're worried about security, then purchase a hardware wallet. You shouldn't be leaving all your funds on mobile wallets in the first place.

i didn't lost them but i don't know if it's safe to deposit huge BTC on this wallet or not 0.5 - 10 BTC for ex if its not safe what is the best and safest wallets to store BTC ??
Mate, if you can afford to hold that amounts of BTC, there's no reason why you shouldn't invest in a reputable hardware wallet. Go get a Ledger[1] or a Trezor[2]. You're taking so much unnecessary risks for holding your bitcoin on wallets that could potentially be compromised and are constantly connected to the internet.

Topic: bitcoin has reached 8000$, then what?
Then maybe we should actually stop focusing on the price of bitcoin all the time and just be patient for the long-term.

There is no "best" bitcoin wallet. It's pretty much down to personal preference. What I suggest you would do, is to check out the reputable bitcoin wallets we have right now, test them out yourself, and choose the one that you personally like. I have some wallets listed on my site (shameless plug): https://coinsources.io/bitcoin/. Just scroll down a bit to the Wallets section.

It completely depends. If they moved the stolen funds on a custodial wallet or exchange like Coinbase, whereas your wallet address is actually tied to a person, then yes. But mostly hackers are smart enough to not move funds to a custodial wallet. They can simply move the stolen funds to a decent non-custodial wallet and they would pretty much stay anonymous unless they do something stupid.

aren't all bounty campaigns required standard social media, such as facebook, twitter, and instagram?
Mostly as far as I know. how would their project get maximum exposure without spamming social media I mean, there are better alternatives. I'd far better prefer sponsored articles and sponsored videos on YouTube that are actually helpful and informative rather than just going straight-off to the social media spam route.
|
|
|
On signature campaigns: Campaigns that are reputable and run for long periods of time, as I just want to casually contribute and converse here while earning a decent amount of bitcoin, without actually looking for other campaigns to hop to every month of every few weeks. Bonus: What's your most disliked type of bounty campaign?
Those campaigns that require social media spamming.

I am ok to send photos of my id or passport, I just dont want to make video calls like it is on bitspanda
Try out LocalBitcoins[1]. You can look for buyers and sellers that uses the local currency whatever country you're in right now. Just make sure to check the reputation of the buyer or sellers you're transacting with, and make sure they're trustworthy enough.

only bitspanda has option to withdraw directly to card (i cant use coinbase) but it needs videoid verification.
do you know some other platforms?
If you don't want to submit any KYC information, can you try looking for people who buy/sell BTC in the city you're in? May it be through social media and such. Peer-to-peer in-person exchanges might be the one for you, though it might be hard for you to find a buyer.

How is it even related? How does Binance stopping withdrawals increase BTC's price? I doubt that people would think: "oh crap Binance stopped withdrawals, time to buy more BTC!"

Too unlikely in my opinion. I mean, they're doing the scamming mainly to steal your money, while being completely aware of how greatly immoral and unethical their activity is, and you expect them to return the funds? I don't think so. If there are actually scammers who returned funds for some reason, it'd probably be as small as 0.001% of total scams.

I've been hearing decent feedback from BlockFi and Consensus Network. Personally though, one thing I really don't do, is to hand over funds to a custodial besides if I'm going to do a quick trade on an exchange. Especially knowing that you need to leave your funds on these platforms for one full year to actually receive something in return? Big no for me. I'd rather keep my funds safely on my cold storage.

That's some good stuff. Though unfortunately since majority are still geared towards CoinMarketCap, I don't think this makes that much of an impact. It's a step forward though; I just wish they'd do a re-make on their UI.

I don't use voice chat either. I personally just prefer Discord over Telegram due to convenience, though I'm perfectly fine with Slack. Anyway, this doesn't need to be a sort of "official" channel.
Discord, Telegram or whatever messenger platforms have their own annoying aspects. They will make things more complicated for both DarkStar_ (manager) as well as for all participants of such channel. Why do we need to make things more complicated when we already have a perfect place for it (here). Of course, manager might require some things passed to join such channel, but in general it will create new workload for manager, and more complex things for participants. Like I said, it doesn't even need to be an official group with DarkStar_ on the helm. I was just initially looking for a channel that has Bitcointalk members in it, regardless if there's ChipMixer peeps there or not; just for casual bitcoin and crypto talk stuff. But yea forget it.

Why don't you create a new thread for this? I doubt this will get any visibility here.
I just added that information solely in addition to OP's price speculation. But yea, I might post it on a separate thread.

I personally greatly prefer Discord due to it being more clean and organized, and I personally don't like to use my mobile number to register on Telegram. But hey. I'll join either! Slack, Keybase, Telegram are (IMO) better than Discord. Voice chat is not a necessity. I don't use voice chat either. IRC I loved IRC back in the day. Not sure I remember how to use it though.

Slightly off topic: Do we have a Discord group? Regardless if official or unofficial, and regardless if it's ChipMixer campaign members only or not.
I don't think so. I would rather see a Telegram channel for the participants of the campaign than a Discord server. Why not make one @DarkStar_? The ideal portfolio really differs from person to person. There's no sort of ideal portfolio allocation that can work well for everyone; as that's for you to decide for yourself. Are you guys following most people are doing? Like 50-75% BTC and rest altcoins?
Completely depends on what the altcoins are and how long are you trading/holding them. Mine is all altcoins and losing quite a bit now ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) It's just either: 1. You've put your money on total shitcoins. 2. You are super impatient and are just buying in to make a quick buck.
