12261  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan Please 0.1 will payback 0.11 in a week. on: March 04, 2015, 06:35:20 AM
Just check your trust record, it looks it is not very good! If you can provide any legit collateral for the loan, I may consider it!
Most of the negative trust this person has is from a known scammer so I would really not give it very much credibility.

I am still not quite sure that his reputation is worth .1 BTC, and I am not sure the risk is worth the potential of a .01 BTC interest payment.
12262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Congratulations new foundation board members on: March 04, 2015, 05:52:56 AM
I personally would not welcome anyone into the bitcoin foundation. I would also say it is not exactly something to 'congratulate' someone about in getting elected to the board of TBF
12263  Economy / Lending / Re: need .05 loan on: March 04, 2015, 05:45:37 AM
check your account 12R9SPJBoiXmJiQ23HwM38gEWoBZ6FWk31, you have 2.2644081 BTC in the balance (https://blockchain.info/address/12R9SPJBoiXmJiQ23HwM38gEWoBZ6FWk31) . Why do you still bother to take just .05 BTC loan. I am just curious, can you explain that?
TBH, I think the point of this thread is to increase his post count :/

He claims that he is short on funds to buy something, however this is likely no longer the case with the recent price appreciation of bitcoin.
12264  Other / Meta / Re: Changes to how Scammers' trust scores are calculated? on: March 04, 2015, 05:37:36 AM
You have double posted 3rd para in 4th. Smiley

What if theymos has updated the trust formula but hasn't posted here?

   -MZ
Thanks fixed. I was really tired when I made that thread and found a few grammar mistakes when I first posted it.

I am pretty sure the trust calculation for scammers has probably changed somewhat to prevent scammers from continuing to troll to try to get the 'worse' trust score
12265  Other / Meta / Re: Green trust..dark versus light. on: March 04, 2015, 05:18:56 AM
I am not sure what the cutoffs are for each shade of green

Wondering this. How many positive trusts give you light green and how many to dark green?
As I explained above, it is not just how many positive trust reports you have, it is also the amount of time since you got your first positive trust; and these two factors give you your trust score, and your trust score determines how "dark" your trust rating is.

Alright that makes sense then. Was this posted somewhere on the forums? We need a sticky post with all of this stuff...it is hard to find it otherwise.
The trust calculation is posted here by theymos, although I think it may have been adjusted somewhat since then, but this should give you the general calculation as to how your trust score is calculated.

I am not sure where the thing about the varying shades of green is posted, however I have noticed over time that people with different left trust scores have different shades of green, with the darker greens having higher trust scores

12267  Economy / Lending / Re: Microloans for your BCT ACCOUNT *Junior Members+* on: March 04, 2015, 04:32:46 AM
All accounts/escrow should be held by a trust third party

Full Members and Up will be held by 3rd party escrow. Junior and Member Accounts will be held by escrow if the loanee wishes, but usually the escrow's fee is higher than the maximum loan. If they want to opt for this that's their option and will be honored.
You are a brand new member therefore it is advisable not to put any trust in you until you have proven yourself to be trustworthy as the lending section does have a number of collateral scammers.

If it would not be economical to put lower level accounts into escrow then maybe it will not be economical to accept them as collateral.
12268  Economy / Lending / Re: need .05 loan on: March 04, 2015, 04:30:29 AM
Can you sign a message from an old address associated with your account?

Would you be willing to offer your account as collateral?

12270  Economy / Services / Re: Selling my signature space on: March 04, 2015, 04:15:02 AM
BIT-X now pays 0.0014 per post for seniors. 0.0016 for heroes and above.
can I receive payment to my own address and advertise an escrow thread if desired?

Rules are rules and have to be followed (don't shoot the messenger please Tongue).
Fair enough, however I have my requirements too. I am not saying your rules are bad, I am just saying that your rules are not something I would want to follow, and I feel that my signature space is valuable enough that someone would be willing to buy it, not asking me to follow those rules
I will see what I can work out.
Like I said, I am confident that my posts are looked at enough so that people read what I say closely enough so that my signature space is more valuable then the "average" user.

I would kindly ask that unless you are trying to directly do business with me (or acting as an agent to someone bring to do business with me) to please refrain from posting on here. I am very well aware of the current market for paid signature campaigns. There is a lot of signature spam on this thread and it is making it somewhat cluttered.
12271  Other / Meta / Re: Green trust..dark versus light. on: March 04, 2015, 04:06:54 AM
The higher the trust number on the left the darker your trust score will be. Your number on the left is based on how many trust reports you have (by member of default trust - by default) and how long it has been since your first positive trust report, and a limit of one positive trust report per person per month (it also has to do with how many negative trust reports you have, however it is very rare for someone to both have green trust and one or more negative trust reports)

I am not sure what the cutoffs are for each shade of green
12272  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTB] Account with deep green trust on: March 04, 2015, 04:04:39 AM
What is the difference with deep green trust versus light green? I would love to know what you would offer for my account it has some green.  I have no interest in actually selling, but would love to know if it has much extra value over a non green one.

I don't think there's an official definition of 'deep' but I'm pretty sure 73: -0 / +39(39) (as I see you with default trust) definitely qualifies as that.

I'd really hate to see an account like this being sold. We wouldn't be able to trust the trust system at all :/
The OP obviously wants the trust number on the left to be at least 13. As the number on the left increases, the darker (deeper) the color gets.

The trust system is only a starting point when dealing with someone. You need to be sure to use your own good judgment when dealing with someone even with massive amounts of trust, and if they suddenly start to get into a new venture that one might think is scammy if it were not for the high amounts of trust, then additional precautions should be taken (for example a bank like business, selling security like instruments, or a ponzi like scheme).

Someone with a trust score of 70+ and being on default trust would likely be able to fetch a good 7-8 BTC IMO, however it is likely that it would take a while to find a buyer at that price as the market for these kinds of accounts is very small. If you are looking for a quicker sale (as many sellers are) then a similarly described account would likely sell for a lot less.

I know that tomatocage has previously said that people have offered him 100 BTC for his account, although he did not know the seriousness of the offer, however his account is probably one of the most valuable accounts, if not the most valuable account because it both on default trust and is well known for being able to catch scammers. I would not doubt that TC's account would be able to do 100 BTC worth of damage if a scammer was patient enough (hell Marcchernandez did more damage then that and he didn't even have a trust account at all) - or a potential buyer could buy up a bunch of accounts, put them on his trust list and then resell them at vastly higher prices now being on level two default trust (this is one more reason why CITM should prune his trust list).
12273  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTB] Account with deep green trust on: March 04, 2015, 01:49:51 AM
Quickseller, even then I'd refrain from selling to a Newbie. He does anything bad, and things could possibly be traced back to you. It's best that the trust stays with the human being who is actually trusted. I hate the idea of a selling accounts for this reason alone.

I think it is safe to say that I know what I am doing. I have done this before and I have received sufficient evidence that the buyer was intending to use their account for purposes that did not involve scamming. To date the similar accounts that I sold have not been involved in scams.
12274  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTB] Account with deep green trust on: March 04, 2015, 01:34:04 AM
This is almost certainly going to be an account that is going involved in some kind of scam. Do you mind sharing what exactly you are looking to do with this account?

There are a few accounts that I know to be for sale that meet your criteria, I assume them not to be hacked, although I have not checked. Although I am not willing to attempt to broker a deal unless I am confident you are not trying to pull off some kind of scam.

Please post your asking price here or in PM. There is no point in further discussion without knowing the price. Please let me know the forum rank of your account.
I would need to know the reason you are looking for such an account prior to moving forward with anything other then price (you can PM it to me if you like, and my PGP key is in my profile). The account that has the greatest chance of being available for you has a trust score of at least 35 (the number on the very left) when only DefaultTrust is on your trust list, and have a trust depth set to two (the default settings), is on level two default trust. I would have an initial asking price of at 7.5 BTC. This account is not 'in hand' and I would need to contact the owner to see if it is still for sale, however prior to doing that, you would need to fund escrow with the purchase price (plus the escrow fee) and you would need to give me time to attempt to close any deal with the current owner, in the event that I cannot deliver you would agree to not hold me responsible (and escrow would be returned to you - any escrow fee would still be charged to you).
12275  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Would Anyone try a group rental? on: March 04, 2015, 01:04:12 AM
All three of your offers have an asking price of 0.01330 BTC per TH/s per day. However 4% PPS would result in a payment of 0.01034174 BTC per TH/s per day. The total hash rate of all of the offers you posted do not have a high enough of a hash rate for it to make sense to try to solomine (if you did then you would be buying very expensive lottery tickets), so you would need to point them at a pool. In order for these rentals to be profitable for you, the pool you have the rented mining power pointed to would need to have at least 128% luck over the time you have the hash rate rented for, which is very high.

This might make more sense if you can get the owner to lower their asking price to closer to a price that works out to 100% luck, and hopefully the pool you point them to would have good luck on the day you rent them.
12276  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Got Hacked At Fortune Jack on: March 04, 2015, 12:34:28 AM
It is sad you got hacked, we recommend to keep your computer and password safe for the future. FortuneJack offers in-house two factor authentication, you can set secret question of your favor and answer it every time you login.

This is not the first case of account theft at FJ, so, in order to increase account security standards, we will be adding google powered 2FA in the next 2-3 days of time.

Sorry for your hack issue, you could also contact support@fortunejack.com see if we could help.
The convicted2008 account actually got hacked a while back, and I believe that he actually contacted you to get the IP address that requested the withdrawal.

Based on my conversations with him his computer was likely infected with malware, likely from clicking a link/downloading a file from someone in the chat of another casino.

He actually PM'ed me a few weeks ago saying that funds were stolen from another account that he has at another casino.
12277  Other / Meta / Re: Why my account got Banned ? on: March 04, 2015, 12:18:10 AM
70 accounts created? what are those for? i dont think it will be used for sig campaigns as if it hard to reach minimum post counts for those number of accounts
If he has 70 accounts and is making shit posts then he is almost certainly farming them to get them ranked up and plans on selling them.

Bit-X is probably the best campaign ever! Not only does the bot give you a 100% accurate preview of your pay for the week, but also pays automatically. Simply amazing, and I'd recommend it to everybody and anybody. Although they don't pay right upfront, it's still a great choice to consider! Been posting and it's easy to check how many you've made, etc.

Just my two cents on the subject.

I will disagree with you. While it is true that they are currently paying the most per post. But some other things are not so great, mainly I do not want to use my phone for verification and I imagine a lot of people too. And you have to create account on their site with their address to be paid that way. For some people is a huge no no.

For the paranoids among us, it is a huge no no Sad.

Nothing to fear by giving out a phone number.
That and the people who value privacy
