Honestly I see A.C. Milan's ban from any European competition a blessing in disguise. As a Milan fan myself I don't think the Milan team we have now is a perfect fit to compete even in the Europa League. With a considerably new squad and especially new coach I don't think they'll be winning and sweeping their bracket anytime soon. I could say that with over the next three transfer windows and this season Milan might be prepared to face the toughest teams in Europe. Italian teams don't really pay that much attention to the Europa League and Milan will surely not miss the competition. From a financial point of view it will hurt them a bit but not in a way that will worry anyone considering that the prize fund is significantly lower compared to the UCL. Another aspect to consider is whether some players might want to leave the club if they are offered a good spot in a team that does play international football, especially the CL!?

It depends what your preferences are. Do you prefer to wager smaller amounts on bigger odds or bigger amounts on smaller odds?
The probability to win decreases as the odds increase, this is not always the case but it usually is. If you bet on a match where the odds are 1.10 you need to wager a bigger amount to get any value from your bet. In this case a $100 bet at 1.10 only gets you a $10 profit. It is not really worth the risk in my opinion.
But if the odds are 2.00 for example, a $10 investment will earn you the same $10 profit.
I prefer chasing higher odds especially in live betting when I can see what is going on and it is easier to predict what might happen.

The Trezor wiki doesn't recommend using USB hubs. Note: It is recommended to plug Trezor device directly to your computer instead of using a USB hub. https://wiki.trezor.io/User_manual-Setting_up_the_Trezor_deviceAnother user asked the same thing on reddit a few weeks ago, here is the answer he received: https://www.reddit.com/r/TREZOR/comments/c01opb/usb_question_i_shouldnt_ask/It should work, but it adds risk. If your hub doesn't deliver clean power, it could glitch. If your hub doesn't deliver clean data, it could glitch.
For most of the stuff you do, a glitch won't mean much. Just unplug, replug and try again.
If your doing a FW update though, there is a very narrow window that could cause you some very serious grief. To conclude, you can use it through a USB hub but why risk running into problems?! Connect it straight to your PC to avoid potential hiccups.

@Stedsm I think your friend should definitely reinstall the OS on the 2nd hand PC he bought. Like you said you never know what the previous owner did with the PC and what his online habits were like.
Black Friday is a good time to purchase a hardware wallet. If I remember correctly there was like a 50% discount during the last Black Friday on the Nano S.

What is the official stand by the Mods and Admins regarding for example ANN and Bounty threads where a few members seem to be constantly posting nonsense questions and talking to each other and in that way bumping the thread? Do they usually delete these replies and nuke the users?

It is the safest option. It is A safer option but not the safest since hackers are targeting password managers just like any other software. According to new information published by Independent Security Evaluators (ISE), at least five popular password managers, including 1Password, Dashlane, KeePass and LastPass, could potentially leak unencrypted credentials and passwords while they're running in the background. Read this: https://www.komando.com/happening-now/547660/hackers-find-security-flaws-in-5-popular-password-managers-are-you-safeIf you have bad online practices, no software or password manager can help you. They can minimize the treat but most of it is down to the way the individual user is using the Internet.

Napoli is going to be strong in the upcoming season. They have managed to pair Manolas with Koulibaly. Both are two very physical players that will surely make it hard for any attacker to have fun playing against them.
The arrival of James brings them more options in the offensive areas that confirms their intentions for a top spot next year.

@The Pharmacist I think you made a good choice with the Ledger Nano S. You don't strike me as the type of person who holds bags of different Altcoins so if you are going to use your Nano S for Bitcoin + maybe 1 or 2 additional Alts you will be satisfied with your purchase.
Some users have complained that they can't install more than 2 different Apps on Ledger Live. Others have reported that they have 10 apps installed at the same time so I am not really sure what is causing all that. I held a maximum of 4 apps at the same time but I am now back to just 2.
The initial installation of the device is a bit of a lengthy process but I wouldn't have it any other way really. You have to take note of your seed and then re-enter and confirm every single word on the device itself. But this is a good thing because if you made a mistake somewhere the device will give you an error.
Make sure you remember your PIN because you can only make 3 mistakes while entering it, after the 3rd mistake the device wipes itself clean.

What reasons do you have to believe that the sites you sent the funds to didn't just scam you?
So far we have established that the transactions were confirmed and you claim that you typed the addresses yourself and didn't copy-paste them. Therefore we can rule out a clipboard virus.
That leaves just a few possibilities: You made a mistake while tipping the addresses. You were given wrong addresses by the owners of the sites. The sites are scams.
When you say onion sites I assume sites on the darknet. Meaning illegal activities and services. None of that seems like a safe environment to send your money to.

This is really a bad idea. That is not even close to how a hardware device is supposed to work. You are again relying on a third party to protect your funds properly and you are trusting someone you don't know with your money. This is as safe as sending all your bitcoins for safe keeping to a random person here on the forum. Just stick with the well known brands, there is no need to experiment and potentially get yourself in trouble.

Another thing about Rabiot : a couple of years ago, Sarri was mentioned as a possibility to coach PSG. He said in an interview that he couldn't coach a team with a midfield that has players like Thiago Motta, Rabiot and Verratti because they are slow, they don't run without the ball and aren't offensive enough. The Juve midfield is not that fast either with players like Khedira, Can or Pjanic. The arrival of Ramsey brings more options in terms of speed but they aren't the fastest group around. Italian media reports that the deal to bring back Gigi Buffon to Juventus is almost finalized. There is talk about a 1 year contract and a scheduled medical examination to take place today.

Would be great if other members can confirm this popup. Which browser are you using? It works 100% on Chrome. I tried it with an older post just to make sure I don't delete something that is of importance to me now. Maybe the post needs to be X days/weeks/months old for you to get that popup message. I will try deleting this message now after I post it and let you know what happens. Edit: Just tried it on this post and I still receive the same popup message to confirm post deletion. Try it with Chrome and see if you get the popup. Maybe there is an option somewhere in the settings to enable this... checking now. Edit 2: No options in the setting regarding the popup to confirm post deletion.

theymos doesn't want to implement restrictions for newbies in such a way that would prevent them from creating their own threads or discuss whatever they are interested in. They are restricted from posting in the Serious Discussion board but asides from that they are free to do whatever other forums users do as well.
The best thing you can do is report the posts you think are in violations of certain rules and they will be deleted/banned/nuked by the admins depending on the gravity of the offense.

I use bitcointalk mostly on mobile and yet to find any problem, it's friendly as it gets.
It is not really mobile friendly. You have to zoom in and zoom out, slide your fingers up and down to read a long post or even change between horizontal and vertical positioning of the phone for better usability. If you are OK doing all that then that is fine.

Therefore, I want to suggest/request an additional pop-up window, as a confirmation before deleting the post.
Now is enough to hit the delete button and post is gone. You don't get a popup window asking you if you want to confirm that you want to remove the message? I just tried it on one of my posts and I get a popup asking me to confirm the deletion. You don't see this when you try? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FAXVwzvZ.png&t=663&c=rcUuBRdtZ5KtXA)

Are those internal sites only? Or accessed via the internet? I could not understand such a situation.
Is there no IT administration or similar ? I can't imagine they approve that. They can be accessed via the Internet. I can use them at home as well as from the office. Once we log in we are redirected to a https site BUT the site where the login details are entered is not encrypted. To be honest I am not sure why their IT team allows it to be done in that way.

To Juventus, I say good luck with Rabiot lol. The kid is a prima donna and his mother is a real pain in the ass. Now Juve have way too many midfielders and he's definitely not the priority as a starter. When he realizes that, the two of them will start making trouble
I don't know the character of the player himself but I do know that Juventus knows how to put players where they belong and even restart their careers. Take the case of Carlos Tevez for example. A player who used to be late to training, didn't want to be substituted back in the time when he played for Man. City etc. He was very professional at Juventus and all the fans loved him. he worked his ass off and I think he was very happy as well. He only spent 2 seasons in Turin but to incredible seasons after which he joined Boca - the club of his dreams. Another example is the case of Andrea Barzagli who joined Juventus for 300.000 euro as a player who everyone forgot about and became one of the best signings in the history of the club. A regular started for both Italy and Juventus.

They will still earn a bit here and there on the transaction fees, that is correct. It is entirely possible that mining chips will become so small and cheap that they can be installed on all electronic devices — similar to the goal 21 Inc. hopes to achieve. This development would turn mining from a purposeful business decision to an after thought, surviving in the background of daily life. Furthermore, mining hardware may become so energy efficient over the next century that transaction fees prove to be plenty to keep miners in business. And this is another thought: It may also be the case that transaction fees simply rise to a level sufficient for mining profitability. If, once all the bitcoins have been mined, the entire world uses the digital currency as its primary medium of exchange, then it is possible that transaction fees will rise due to an increase in the demand for transactions.
