Your account is not worth anywhere near 1 btc. If you want that large of a loan you are going to need a much larger amount of collateral
12362  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Exchange your coins or silver rounds to BTC quickly ! on: February 28, 2015, 07:52:30 PM
Trade with caution, when dealing with this person!!!

See: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=457019
correct. Everyone should use escrow if you are selling to this person.

What pricing are you willing to offer?

How often do people get into other's accounts?  Do we really need 2 factor authorization?   I am not saying we don't; I am just asking.
it seems that people are getting in more often as of recently. I think it is more of an issue with people's poor security practices then with forum security. I would also think any kind of 2fa is just going to make people have a false sense of security when trading with others and will not demand signed messages ect when trading with trusted members which will only result in more people getting scammed.

If you cannot sign a message then there is a good chance that the account is hacked.
12366  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] (Staff Only) Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: February 28, 2015, 05:52:56 PM
IMO signature advertising is more effective then forum advertising though. I would doubt that stunna would end up paying more then 6 BTC per week if he were to reopen his campaign. If he were to reopen his signature campaign, a lot of the earning would probably end up back at prime dice anyway

I agree with that, but if he limited the campaign and did a fixed rate deal he could get a decent amount of advertising for a budget of 5btc.
If he were to do a pay per post deal, and have a budget of 20 BTC per month (5 BTC per week) then, if he was paying .0012 for hero members, and only hero members joined, then he would get ~4,100 posts per week. This month there were roughly 300,000 new posts, or roughly 75,000 per week, so he would get roughly .5% of all posts, however I would say that even if they have the forum ads enabled, most of the time when people post, they will not even see the forum ad because they will scroll to the end of the thread because they have already read most of it (they are only looking at new posts).

A good amount of the new posts were likely in sections like games and rounds which stunna has said he will not pay for.

Additionally stunna would have the ability to encourage people to post in certain sections by adjusting the payment amount each post would be worth, verses having to pay for 'all' the impressions the forum gets.

I would also say that it would not be realistic to continue to be able to get 4 forum ad spots for only 6 BTC, that is usually closer to the price of less then two ad spots.
12367  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Hero Account on: February 28, 2015, 05:34:58 PM
Are you able to provide a signed message from an old address associated with the account in order to prove ownership?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean.

Do you mean like a PM or email sent to me?

If you explain the process, then I expect I can do what you suggest.

Instructions as to how to sign a message are here. The account will have to have posted a btc address at least 6 months ago and you would need to sign a message from that address to prove the account was not hacked

Skrill is reversible,  you wont find anybody who accept this.
Im sorry but without collateral will be hard.
Regards

Fist time, I hear that skrill is reversible, but maybe Im wrong.  In any way Im gonna buy BTC from exchange on monday or tuesday. Just little bad that my faucets are already dry.

This loan request will give you fast and guaranteed +10% interest.

Few peoples would like to see how this forum account a fall, but I can guaranteed that it will never happen Smiley
No it won't. If this was a small risk then someone would have lent you the money by now. There is no shortage of people willing to give out loans with an appropriate amount of risk, most loans that end up getting filled are filled within an hour

Yes it is Smiley

I had one loan from marcotheminer, hi gave me 0.1 without collateral and I repaid before time with interest.
Now hi agree with 0.1 but this not fix my plans properly.

12370  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Escrows [Updated Daily] Trade Safely! on: February 28, 2015, 04:43:07 PM
awww.. I got "demoted"... no worries.
This table appears to be sorted based on how many people publicly use various escrow services, and how hard the various escrows are pushing their escrow service. It does not take into account trust ratings or likely private escrow transactions

It is sorted according to the fees. Bitpop should be below Lyth0s but marcotheminer hasn't updated.

I was referring to who is in the "big 5"

I don't get it why there are 2 kinds of ads? Why Stunna is paying for this Singapore ad? It is an anti ad!

What do you mean? When I saw the ad and read it I actually thought it was trying to be negative against PD though. There are more existing places to visit ie other Dice sites  Grin. I think a signature campaign is probably more effect than forum ads. Stunna should put that mooney into a smaller signature campaign or something.
Anyone can disable the ability to view ones signature. However, most people cannot block these ads as they are resistant to adblocks, only VIP Hero/legendary member and moderator/admins can disable the viewing of ads. This is more effective definitely.

Anyone can turn off ads!
No they can't, only Hero+, Donator+ and staff+ can turn off forum ads. Everyone can turn off viewing signatures. Most ad blocking software is ineffective against blocking forum ads.

IMO signature advertising is more effective then forum advertising though. I would doubt that stunna would end up paying more then 6 BTC per week if he were to reopen his campaign. If he were to reopen his signature campaign, a lot of the earning would probably end up back at prime dice anyway
12372  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: How much does an account of bitcointalk cost on: February 28, 2015, 04:33:23 PM
According to this thread, a newbie account cost .07 to start posting (due to a lot of units of evil).

Generally speaking you can sell a member account for between .03 and .06, a full member for between .11 and .25, a senior member for between .33 and .6, and a hero member for between .75 and 3.5; however the upper range of values for both senior and hero members are somewhat difficult to get.
12373  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ******* Selling GOLD BARS ******* on: February 28, 2015, 04:15:59 PM
Wow a gold  Shocked

anyway selling gold is not on service section

you need to move to GOODS section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0

Ok Thanks for letting me know I will do that ASAP.

Do you accept Escrow use?

The topic has been moved to hear. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=971897
Send me an email and I will see if we can work something out.

That topic was deleted as being a duplicate

If you are not accepting escrow then you are scamming
12374  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockChain.info disconnected on: February 28, 2015, 04:03:36 PM
Is it not working again?

Everything is fine.
It seems to be receiving transactions just fine (although this may be from their own node only), however it seems to be stuck at block 345546

If you wish to send a transaction and use blockchain.info's wallet then you should create it with blockchain.info, view the tx in hex format and then push it with your full node
But what is actually wrong with blockchain.info? Any explanations?
For some reason they are not relaying nor receiving information from other nodes. There could be a number of reasons for this. Without any kind of official announcement (likely from their twitter), saying that anything specific is wrong would be speculation
The worse could be getting their wallet's data corrupt(and not having any backup). Is this possible in this scenario?
no.

Or you can also push the transaction on https://btc.blockr.io/tx/push  (if you don't have a full node).
Right, and other options would be http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/pushtxn.php and https://coinb.in/#broadcast as well. However using your qt client (that is synched) is probably best IMO (if you can)

I thought you were going to repay the people he scammed out of the money you owe him?
12380  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: February 28, 2015, 02:17:24 PM
Due to overspamming we added two positions to the rules:

Important update
- We don't pay for posts less than 75 symbols length.
- We don't pay for posts in Off-topic / Games and rounds / Alternate cryptocurrencies and this thread.

So users need to post roughly two sentences for their post to qualify, that is really not a very high threshold. Generally speaking most posts that don't fit the above criteria are spam anyway.
