I think it's more like we need a mainstream mag to explain to people that "FTX", "Celsius" and all the other scam platforms are NOT all of crypto and it can be safe etc. Many people have been scared off due to the FTX meltdown and ensuing media stupidity, so I think it's gonna take a bit longer to pick up steam with newbies... Pulled out the paper....tested all qr codes...Papers are in excellent shape with no signs of any erosion from being in the water almost 2.5 years! This December will mark the third year from when the test has started and will stay ongoing for as long as I can possible do it. No matter how strong the encryption, torture or a beating will do things that no computer can do as of yet...reveal the passphrase or password. An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure for sure....so not sharing your crypto hodlings is best as being a target will only end up with someone with that $5 wrench and a person tied up. |

Yes our forum area has died down recently...I mean I compare to my heyday back in 2017...that's the best time I can remember that or 2018. I have taking another look at these and have to say what a great idea it was to send them alongside legit stamps.
Perhaps I should do the same with mine....but the main reason I have not is it would ruin the main artwork on the envelope itself.
I will be following this auction closely as I will for sure at least grab one for my crypto philatelic collection and to alongside my inverted center stamps as well!

Some news from our swiss friends. Crypto stamps 3.0 will ba available on may 2nd. https://crypto-stamp.post.ch/fr/cs3V2.0 was about locarno festival . did not bought when i discovered some of them carry weird ideas. V3 looks like more a milking cow : it is possible to buy individually each of them based on the ID. Of course, if u r rich enough you can buy the whole serie That's unfair to say the least. Will not buy. Thanks for sharing this information...I am on the fence about these stamps to be honest. Some at the upper end are pretty pricey as well...so collect the entire set will cost a pretty penny. But I am sure there are collectors out there that will buy all versions to get the NFTs as well. All ID set frm swiss V1 sold for around 60k €. Check it out by yourself at ricardo.ch. Damn....thats a hefty price indeed...and who said NFT's were dead? Way beyond my reach for sure...I might nibble on the lower value ones though just to add to my stamp collection |
