thanks to everyone that helped me out. I have to give a big thank you.
I was able to win a xbox one last night , I then gifted my points that i had left a wooping 488 of them to a buddy so he can try and win one tonight.
I will be still taking codes and points in and ammount. 1K to 10K to 40K is great. at this time i will not be paying any crazy prices for any points.

if you have say 4K and would like to get rid of it im willing to pay the most is $7 , if you dont like it then oh well sell it to some one else

1250  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Chili – 30+GH/s BFL based Bitcoin Miner Assembly on: November 05, 2013, 05:11:22 AM
well today i added a h60 to the chili and its the same as the last heatsink i had on it the temp sticks around 70c and only will go to 21GH
i can touch the board and it is cool to the touch.

I updated the board to the newest firmware and in the start of bfgminer the temps shoot up to 100c then back to 70c then to 90c and then 70c again and levels out at 70 to 72 again it will only push 21GH.

With the Cooler Master Evo 212 (see my pics on previous pages) I get between 32GH/s and 35GH/s. But there's a trick! One of my colleagues found out that if you plug additionally a small case fan and point it to the power supply of the board (near the inductors) you get between 35 and 39GH/s don't ask me why but it works!

yes i can see this part of the board is burning like crazy i will see what i can do
1251  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Chili – 30+GH/s BFL based Bitcoin Miner Assembly on: November 05, 2013, 01:34:04 AM
the back plate on the h60 does not inter fear with the bottom of the board that much at all.
I can test it with out a back plate but i do not think it will change

1254  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Chili – 30+GH/s BFL based Bitcoin Miner Assembly on: November 02, 2013, 03:00:37 AM
? how does this board do jobs. i know on early firmware of bfl units it would only do 1 job per / later firmware they fixed it so it would do XX jobs per instead of just 1 job
to me it looks like the board is just doing 1 job at a time is this correct ?

if this this correct any plans on changing it to XX jobs instead ?

also can i say i have fw 1.0.0 as this is what the RW2-BFL-Commport-Scanner outputted for me before
DEVICE: BitFORCE SC
FIRMWARE: 1.0.0

* i ordered a cooler for the chili and will be installing it monday, once the cooler gets here.

also thank u for the new firmware

You removed the plastic from both sides of the pads, right? The plastic on one side is textured, the other smooth.

I think it's normal for the heatsink to feel just a little warm, even near the board. I thought that was a problem at first, but when I unplugged the fan, it got almost too hot to touch.
correct i removed them from both sides of each strip , also when i remove the fan it jumps up to 80c and drops in GH

my chili looks like the one on the bottom left

i had to use the slim x3 heat sink as i need to fit it in a case already with a bfl 30gh , I'm using the thermal pads from keefe in this thread.
i will see if i can get a different heat sink and test it but it might not be possible for my area that I'm placing it i will have to see.
the 212 like i said in pass post will be way to big for the pc case that the chili will be in with the 30GH BFL. I have to see my options this week and see if i can mount the chili in a different part of the case maybe upside down with spacers inbetween the case and the the chili like on a hdd mount or the dvd rom but under it i will have to see untill then.

overall if i touch the heatsink its not that hot at all
bottom of the board is like 5 to 7 secs before its burning u
right now i have legs on the bottom of the board raised about 3 to 4 inchs up
the legs have feet on them rubber work nice. i did notice that when it was just laying on bottom of the board on my wood table it would hash at 19GH with the feet on it it now hashs at 22GH
so maybe the bottom of the board needs more cooling like u said

i will see what happends tonight when i add it to its main area, right now its at my apt and its frezzing in here so i would think it would be hashing faster lol
i will ask some techs at work if they have any heatsinks laying around Tongue maybe i can get some for free before buying one
