Most of the people think Bitcoin is for illegal activity and stuff and I have to say that's not how it really works. You might be right Bitcoin is used for illegal activity's but its not just for illegal activity because most of the other people see Bitcoin is an currency so people can use it on everything what they want absolutely they can use it to buy and sell drugs but government of the law have to take against the drug sellers,it is not a good decision to take action against bitcoin.
But as you said bitcoin has been used for many illegal activity because of its anonymity so government need to take steps against the illegal activist and have to regulate the use of bitcoin usage in their country to stop this kind of activity.
It is very easy to think that bitcoin was created for bad reasons and nothing good will ever come out of it whatsoever which is why so many people shy away from the crypto world think it is full of scammers and cheaters which is partly true. The famous Mt.Gox collapse and the dark web FBI scandal left the crypto world shattered, but that did not stop bitcoin from overcoming all barriers and taking off into the stratosphere. Sometimes, it is better to take a leap of faith. |

I think so. Ethereum is ranked second only to bitcoin. The price always evolves following the bitcoin value.
It is tough to predict the All Time High of Ethereum due to many factors. My gut feeling tells me that Ethereum will reach a new ATH of 1600$ by MAY 2018 and might even go up to 2000$ by this time next year, but I might be completely wrong. The rally by bitcoin clearly helped Ethereum to reach a new ATH recently and I feel that bitcoin will continue to rally a lot to crazy highs during 2018 which will also help Ethereum rally beside it. This is my prediction and lets see if it comes true! |

Alternative Currencies that might reach 10 dollars next year are NXT, Ripple, and STEEM, which shows stable amount and growth (even it is so slow).
You think Ripple could reach 10$ ? Are you sure ? that means a total market cap of more than 380 Billions , ~40-45% more than Bitcoin market cap. I agree with your opinion. I highly doubt that Ripple would ever reach 10$ anytime in the near future. I am expecting Ripple to reach 2$ by this time next year. I still don't want to invest in this coin since a major portion of the coins are held by the developers who are freely manipulating the market to their liking which is not something I prefer. I prefer Stellar Lumens a lot more in this scenario. |

Agree with what you are saying. Litecoin is clearly an undervalued cryptocurrency which has huge potential, but was overlooked and overshadowed by many other giants like Monero, Dash etc. I predicted that it would increase in value sometime before 2018 and it looks like I was right. The developers of this coin and its community never truly gave up on this coin which is why they are enjoying huge profits thanks to its current surge and I am loving it! |

Exactly my thoughts. I expected that bitcoin futures would help bitcoin continue rallying and looks like I was right. Bitcoin seems to have resumed rallying after the recent price correction and I feel it will touch 20k quite soon probably during the first half of Jan 2018. Exciting times indeed. Better to buy bitcoin now when its value is low since I feel it will double in value by this time next year. |

As always, I feel that anytime is a good time to buy bitcoin s since I believe that it will touch 100k by 2019 and I base this prediction on rising investor confidence. As bitcoin continues to rally, more and more people are joining this vast crypto world and its value will continue rising due to the supply and demand logic in the long term. Very silly question in my opinion. Why do you think that either is more important than the other? The truth is that both bitcoin and ethereum are important in different ways and each have their own set of advantages and disadvantages which make them great coins in different ways. Some people favor bitcoin over ethereum like me and some favor ethereum over bitcoin, but both are equally important if you think about it. I will never stop supporting bitcoin and will always favor it over all other coins always.

I am currently holding DeepOnion, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, Electroneum, Einstenium, IOTA and Stellar Lumens for long term profits. I will be HODLING these coins through the next couple of years and not just 2018 for substantial profits in the long run. On the other hand, I sold my Sugar Exchange tokens, ETH Blue, Ripple, Bitconnect and several other tokens this year for short term profits. Expecting big stuff from the crypto world in 2018 after 2017 which is clearly a game changing year.

Well that is really surprising. Yesterday i have write, that we could touch 3$ barrier and now when i wake up i see we are heading to 4$ barrier... I have dream about it, but not soo high OMG. HODL has been payed off. Good work continue  I know right. I was happy with DeepOnion reaching the 3$ mark, but the 4$ mark is really close now which seriously surprised me since I was not expecting it to touch 4$ until the end of this month. At this rate, DeepOnion will reach its old ATH before the end of this month and might even register a new ATH before 2018 which is crazy awesome if you ask me. Completely agree with you here. There are multiple ways of earning profits from bitcoin(Short term or Long term HODL etc). Apart from holding bitcoins for a specific period of time, there are many other ways of profiting from this coin. Luck and research play a strong role in determining whether your investment was a wise one or not. McAfee is clearly an optimistic dude and I like his attitude, but I don't think bitcoin will reach 1 mill by 2020. Bitcoin might touch 200k by 2020 and maybe reach the 1 million dollar mark by 2025 mainly due to the supply and demand logic. I might be completely wrong though and bitcoin might actually reach a million bucks by 2020, but I only see this happening if a good percentage of the world population invest in bitcoin which would help its value skyrocket.

Not at all, You can buy it. It is the main currency for the deep web and it demand is high. If you plan to hold it for 6 months, then you can make money from it.
Great point. Deep web does use monero on a regular basis for many transactions everyday which is one of the main reasons I feel that this coin is going to rise in value soon in the upcoming months. Also, the rally by bitcoin will help monero grow im value for quite sometime before experiencing a correction itself. Good time to buy some monero if you ask me. |

You should focus on Neo because it can bring big profit. Neo is going to legit in China, it really good news. I got back into NEO a little and got 80 NEO at nearly height of last pump $40. With China allowing ICO again soon but only allowing NEO based ones its price could serious pump. It is possible that NEO could pump again, but don't blindly fall for the sly tactics used by the Chinese government to manipulate the crypto market like last time. NEO has a lot of potential, but it will reach its new ATH only after a couple of years according to me and Ethereum would have a big role to play in this scenario. Coming to the question posted by op, I think he should sell 70% of his holdings for some awesome profit and HODL the rest for future profits in the long run. |

This will never happen. The only way ICOs would stop is when the crypto market and bitcoin collapses completely which will never happen according to me. The truth is that the number of ICOs will actually increase dramatically in the long run since people realize that bitcoin and the crypto world is a gold mine and everyone would want a piece of that cake. Majority of the ICOs will still be scams, but many ICOs are legit. Differentiating between them comes down to research and luck. |
