1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoins on: September 15, 2018, 03:55:44 PM
Hello guys, in 2009 I saved some btc in one of the software promos where satoshi nakamoto sent them directly, do any of you know the name of that software or where can I find it?

If you don't have access to the wallet address that have software promo on it, you cannot retrieve the btc on that wallet i guess.
It would be a different story if satoshi sent the btc directly into your wallet address. I guess what you we can do is forget about it.
1242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin End Goal on: September 15, 2018, 03:37:47 PM
What is your Bitcoin End Goal?

Is it to get billionaire by it? Or to use bitcoin for all your transactions one day?
These are just two examples, not the only choices of course.

Share what is your End Goal with bitcoin?

I guess the goal of bitcoin is to become a global currency, used by all peoples around the world.
For now, bitcoin is being used for trading and speculating in the market. It is still need some time for cryptocurency to reached its goal.
1243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hold Bitcoin for long time. on: September 14, 2018, 04:45:42 AM
Hold is Bitcoin for long time, there is no much profit. You know why ?

Because if you only hold Bitcoin your balance will grow up only on USD rate. For example you hold 1 BTC . Current price 7500$. It's might 10k after some day. But you still have only 1 BTC.

Now think you have 1 btc and you convert it into BCH. Example for 1 BTC you get 10 BCH. Rate per bch is 0.1 BTC .

After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.

But before buy alt coin please select best coin to avoid dump.

So what you think. Hold alt coin or Bitcoin ?

Peoples have a different opinions and way of thinking. You maybe think holding btc for long time won't make any profit,
but i believe it still bring some profits if you hold it for long. Because now, the btc price is very low compare this year average price.
If you buy it now and hold for long time, you will get the profit as the btc price back to the bullish price again.
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I Avoid Getting Affected By Cryptocurrency Price on: September 14, 2018, 04:21:25 AM
In my 4 years of trading, the past 6 months has been the most challenging for me ( by 6 months, i mean the first half of 2018). The continuously dwindling rate of bitcoin ( which is the mother of all cryptocurrencies) has been so unstable and continually affecting other cryptocurrencies. I have tried a lot of ways to make me and my followers gain during this period but it has been super tough.

In my quest to find an answer, i came across a platform; multicoinbank.
com, at first, i was super certain it was one of the usual scams but i did more research and noticed i could not find any valid negative claim against this platform, so i decided to try it out. They accept four(4) different types of cryptocurrency; Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.

I decided, to try out the least amount to invest in, i invested both Bitcoin and Ethereum using different accounts, in case they were one of those ponzi schemes that uses funds from one account to pay the other till they could no longer do so. To my surprise, i got my promised returns in 10 days after investing ( i still believed this was a one off). I continued investing three more times before increasing my invested amount and i keep opening different accounts to be sure its not ponzi an to my utmost surprise, till date, i still receive my returns.

So, my two cents is, if you want a seem-less way to invest your funds, you can try out the multicoinbank Investment Group but be careful, try it out first with little capital and always make sure you are gaining more than you are investing, it is not rocket science or a get quick program but be careful still. Join m and thank me later https://www.multicoinbank.com

Eventually, most of us will be affected by cryptocurrency price. You may see some down trend when the price of cryptocurrency going down,
it is because peoples sold their coins to cut loss, especially the day traders.
For long term investors, i think they can forget about their investment for now to survive in this bear market.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICOs on: September 14, 2018, 03:54:20 AM
Hey,

with all these ICOs going on in parallel it seems impossible to stick out for a good one.

Reddit and this forum get flooded with announcements of new ICOs making it almost impossible to spot good ones.
Facebook blocked ICO advertising.
Google Adwords blocks use of word ICO in ads in certain countries already.
Twitter is drowning in ICO announcements.
Listing pages are popping up everywhere, too.

What are the ways you guys use to learn about new ICOs and how do you find out the good ones ?

Too many ICO's indeed, causing we are difficult to find a good and not fake ICO.
What you need to do is doing more research and take more time to do an accurate research about the ICO companies.
1246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: September 13, 2018, 05:16:41 AM
Reports have it that bank frauds still continue to happen despite of strict security measures being taken by the banks. Just between January to July 2018, just timeshare fraud alone had 1.155 reported cases. It's when you’re told you can go on a free holiday or get rich by joining an exclusive holiday club or timeshare programme, but you’re eventually forced to pay for it through small print in the contact. That is not to mention other types of fraud like identity theft etc.

This gets me thinking, is it safer to just have bitcoins, or cryptocurrencies for that matter since it's not regulated by banks? What do you think?

The bank is secure because there are peoples who control it in centralized system database, it is different with bitcoin.
Bitcoin has decentralized system, the one who must protect the wallet is the holders of the wallet itself.
1247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You should never doubt on bitcoin investment! on: September 13, 2018, 04:32:49 AM
Take your time now to study how market price moves in the crypto market. I had realize that those market price fall down are perfectly performed so that we can see how much potential profit may get if one will going to invest now. This is just like jumping up high and one must take down to the groud first before opposing the force from the ground to jump up high. I can say that the kick off for crypto market price increase will going to start up soon.

I guess more peoples will doubting cryptocurrency if the current price keep staying on the bottom or getting worse, thats why they see crypto, by the value on the market. For me, this kind of market is only temporary i know it. The peoples sold their coins will buying again later, then the market will recover. And in if the future there are more peoples and companies using crypto, this price won't be seen again
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I go for? on: September 12, 2018, 08:01:43 AM
I want to invest  $500 in crypto market. I have studied a little bit about the market. As I am not experienced in this sector, I am a little bit confused where should I invest?
I know my capital is too little.
Would it be wise to invest in Alt coins?
Or should I go for the ICOs?

Well, if you think you are not experience in cryptocurrency, you should learn more about it to gain more knowledge.
If you want to trading crypto, you may reading about the market and the exchanges.
and if you want to investing on a coins, it will be harder because you will have to take a look at the coin project to find a really good coin.
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What caused all the price drops? on: September 12, 2018, 04:19:17 AM
Almost all the altcoins (and bitcoin too) went down alot yesterday. Does anybody have a clue what caused this major drop?

Various factors could be the reason for the dropping price in this year. One of them is the scam projects.
There are many scam projects of coins and ICO's made investors and contributors lost faith in cryptocurrency.
Maybe we can do something to prevent more scam projects entering the cryptocurrency world.
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What attracts you to a good crypto exchange? on: September 12, 2018, 03:18:41 AM
Although there are obvious benefits to using certain crypto exchanges over others such as high liquidity and the ability to use your fiat currency (not so difficult for those USD holders), but what other factors attract you to a crypto exchange?

Yes, the high liquidity exchange is very convenient to use. You can trading there without afraid your coin won't be able to sell in a good price.
Another thing to consider a good exchange is, how fast their process our withdrawals. If they slow, more peoples won't use them again.
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who controls the crypto market? on: September 11, 2018, 02:30:13 PM
I have been following the crypto scene for the past year and sometimes even though some companies do well their token price drastically goes down and this is the same with btc too. People like john mcafee and roger ver are always talking about how we should get ready for the bullish market but yet the price keeps on decreasing and so i'm asking how and who controls the price. If there is anyone who might be running it?

This is still a mystery for me. Any peoples could be able to control the market when they have a huge amount of coins.
Maybe whales of crypto have a control, but i don't have proof for this explanation.
The market of crypto is volatile, i think that is because many peoples trying to manipulate the price.
1252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now consuming 1% of the world's electricity. Is that sustainable? on: September 11, 2018, 02:19:32 PM
One year ago Bitcoin's network was consuming as much energy as Ireland. Now it has apparently doubled and now it is consuming 1% of the world's total electricity consumption.

https://digiconomist.net/bitcoin-energy-consumption

This, in a time when the world is trying to reduce carbon footprints to avoid or slow down global warming.
Is Bitcoin sustainable as it is?
I don't think so - in fact I'm sure it is not. There is a limit to insanity.
More data here:

https://digiconomist.net/bitcoin-energy-consumption

What is likely to happen next? Which are your thoughts?

Do you think 1% is bad enough to compare with the entire electricity consume ? I dont think so.
There are many company using electricity more than bitcoin mining. You can name all of the industry companies in the world and how much they consume electricity. Cryptocurrency will always sustainable as long as we used it.
1253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Banks on blockchain? on: September 11, 2018, 02:12:28 PM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/singapore-central-bank-partners-with-deloitte-nasdaq-on-blockchain-asset-settlement/amp
http://news.abs-cbn.com/business/05/21/18/unionbank-to-link-rural-banks-using-blockchain
What is the possible reasons why banks adopt of joining blockchain?  Please share your opinions . Is it really  helps rural banks  and small banks to be more productive and efficient? Is it faster and easier in terms of financial transactions to the  mass market and brings down the cost of service?

I dont think there are any reason for bank to join in blockchain for now.
Unless the cryptocurrency used globally in the world, there won't be any reason for bank to join i guess.
Cryptocurrency need more public awareness so the peoples will mass adopting the blockchain.
1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins better than bicoins right now? on: September 10, 2018, 04:12:56 AM
With the price of bitcoin continuously going down, do you think that altcoins could be better right now than bitcoins? I trust that bitcoin prices will still rise perhaps next year, but with the price still going down, maybe altcoins have a better chance. What do you guys think?

Maybe you are wrong, btc price is not going down further, but altcoin is. I think altcoin is no better than bitcoin, but we must see it for long term.
The current price could be only temporary. SEC delay the decision regarding bitcoin ETF, i want to wait and see what will crypto be after the decision.
If this market continues to dips, there will be no hope for crypto.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Determination is power on: September 10, 2018, 04:00:14 AM
I have noticed in crypto currency space that people find it difficult to focus and be determined to succeed in crypto
People tend to forget that millions is not made in a day;

But to be sincere I think when we are determined to make it
Crypto is the home for everyone

Yes, a strong determination is needed in this kind of bearish market. I would like to add the other important thing beside determination.
Patience, is required too. Without determination, you cannot reach your goal, without patience, you will leave before you reach your goal.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moving out from litecoin on: September 10, 2018, 03:44:45 AM
I hold some litecoin and thinking to move into something other. I am thinking for Neo, what do you think will be a eisr choice?
Stick with litecoin or something else?

And what is your reason to not using litecoin anymore ? I think ltc is a good coin, they are cheap.
NEO is the coin that you can get GAS as a dividend, but now the GAS price is very low. Why not buying some Monero ?
1257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why Bitcoins is the safest system on: September 09, 2018, 01:51:42 PM
Hey everyone I have heard newbies and other people asking about how safe is the Bitcoins and it's transactions well I think it will be beneficial to have a little discussion on this .

First of all if you own a bank account in a good bank then you should know that its very hard to hack one's bank account, it's almost impossible unless done due to personal flaws, like sharing your key or bank account details or something , you know the system behind Bitcoins and the system behind banking system is same .
Something by the name of cryptography whose Advance form is block chain . It's a complex code involving complex mathematics and the transactions are only completed through very complex and complicated steps impossible to penetrate.
For Bitcoins the same thing operates but with no intervening part or whatsoever , it's p2p direct transactions and this is even more secure and private.

The reason why you hear news like :- someone got their Bitcoins stolen or something is because they have personal flaws , they shared the private keys or the password with someone else..or they used a bad wallet.

It's on you how safe you make it .

Bitcoin is too safe to be hacked, no one will be able to get someone's private key of their wallet address.
Because the perfect security the system, hackers and scammers aim for the personal mistake of wallet holders.
I believe the past hacking in btc was because the flaw of the holders, not the system.
1258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Make Government Legalize Bitcoin on: September 09, 2018, 01:43:57 PM
Is no longer news that various countries of the world are not in support of Bitcoin either as a means of payments or for trading purpose. This are been a challenges most Bitcoin users are facing throughout the countries of the world inexception of few countries.

I have begin to see it that maybe they are thinking that adoptions of Bitcoin might bring a partial collapse of the banking system and also a means of curbing money laundering.
So, let hear your views on what can be done to make our government realised the important of Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology.

We cannot do anything about the legalization of bitcoin, it will depends on the regulators of the country.
Maybe cryptocurrency need to stop used as a bad tool, for example to scam peoples, then the government may consider it as a legal currency.
1259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How could bitcoins survive further on: September 09, 2018, 01:31:22 PM
In recent days we have seen lots of news which are negative about bitcoins and how government and Banks are doing whatever they can to limit the exposure of Bitcoins to people.
Like recently the banks banned the bitcoins transactions in India and since there is no money or hand to hand transactions going on now people won't be able to buy and sell bitcoins using the money in their banks . Person to person transactions is something that requires us to paly with a dice of luck.
What you think Bitcoins can do to survive in this world right now ?
What can it do to gain favor of the government and banks ?
Could it be possible that banks see it as an ally contary to a threat ?
Aren't government already regulating Bitcoins and aren't they already making people pay taxes how much they demand ?
What you think Should be the next move of Bitcoins.

I think there should be a body to Target these kinds of issues and body which will stand up for bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies and present them in from of the judiciary, so that everything can be fair .
Right now governments are doing whatever they please.

I think bitcoin is going well and will be survived for long, you can see it on the market.
While the altcoins going down very deep, btc price quite shocking to resist above $6k currently.
We don't need to afraid of it regarding some countries ban bitcoin because bitcoin will always be used by the holders of btc.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should continue join ico? on: September 08, 2018, 03:42:01 PM
There is an ico from the Krypital team: Merculet. The project of this team was quite successful before: Cybermiles, Arcblock. Do you think this is a good ico? Should continue to join ico in the moment?

You should doing very deep research to the ICO companies because there are some of them are scam projects.
Although ICO is a good way to invest, but some peoples use it to collect some free money by doing a fake or fraud ICO.
