1241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 Altcoins to Trade/Invest on: March 21, 2017, 11:16:15 AM
I think WBB is definitely worth a look but it will be a more long term one, Bitbay also seems to be one which might be on the move soon, although at this time it is already 80% up since yesterday.
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: www.bittrex.com offline on: March 21, 2017, 11:10:47 AM
Glad you found the issue, Bittrex so far is one of the more solid sites, I only remember a couple of times it has been down since I signed up.
1243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you use a Bitcoin ATM? on: March 19, 2017, 10:03:05 PM
I have used one which is in my area a while ago just to see the process, it really was straight forward and quick.
The only downside was the fee which was about 10%, I agree it is the easiest way for newcomers to enter into bitcoin to see how it works.
1244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dropping like a stone on: March 18, 2017, 02:31:55 PM
Perhaps some have moved their bitcoin over into DASH? I missed it when it was much cheaper so will not be getting into it at this level, I wouldn't worry about the drop as it will come back in a day or two.
1245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What we learned from the Bitcoin ETF denial on: March 17, 2017, 08:01:31 AM
Regardless of any ETF happening or not happening this beast cannot be stopped.  It might take bitcoin a bit longer to become mainstream, if that is even a goal.

I am slighty surprised by the price after the ETF, I thought a lot of money was put into bitcoin in the hopes of the ETF being approved,  must have been wrong.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best innovative new altcoin I should buy? on: March 17, 2017, 07:52:21 AM
WBB soon going to be rebranded, they have kept a lot to their chest recently due to some nda in place, long time holder, expect them to grow.
1247  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is coinbase really a bad website to make a wallet on? on: March 16, 2017, 05:30:26 PM
Coinbase is okay as an online wallet, if you are using it to store a lot of bitcoins this would be a bad move, they could freeze your account to investigate whether the coins are in violation of their terms such as gambling.

As suggested using your own wallet is safest.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $WBB - Wild Beast Bitcoin alt coin ~ huge news *1st in crypto* on: March 15, 2017, 09:12:23 PM
On our way now not long before we see what it is all about.
1249  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The First Signature Campaign in Bitcointalk Forum on: March 15, 2017, 05:42:41 PM
The rates would have been very attractive looking at the price of BTC now, maybe in 10 years people will look back at the signature rates now and think the same thing.
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Google Coin on: March 15, 2017, 12:23:32 PM
In theory, this is just your Credit Card integrated with your email app. You fund your Google Wallet using your Credit Card and use it to transfer funds. Not very different from mobile wallet apps out there, just with a big brand name.

Exactly, I thought they were actually releasing a 'Google Coin' from the subject header but this is just another layer to their Google Wallet.
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do all coins offer something unique? on: March 14, 2017, 01:16:19 PM
out of those 600+ coins there will be a lot of rubbish, a lot of coins just copied and released in the hopes of making a quick buck.  There are also some coins which offer something unique, examples others have listed above and one of my favorites right now WBB yet to prove itself but if it does it can be big.

The only way to really know as people will have different angles and opinions is to click through to the forum and have a quick read of some of the coins, you will quickly learn to identify a scam coin just by reading the op in the ANN section.
1252  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freebitco.in launched a new feature. on: March 14, 2017, 10:48:48 AM
That is interesting, I wonder is there a limit to the amount of bitcoin you can store there.
They could struggle to fulfill this if you had a lot  people with a few bitcoin sitting there.
Also I am not sure on how secure they are although I have never heard anything about them being hacked or attacked and they have been around for years.

Certainly worth keeping an eye on their thread to see the feedback on this feature.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Player Takes Home $255,000 In “Milestone” Casino Win on: March 11, 2017, 03:32:05 PM
I read about this, it is a huge win and although they say he had an opening bet of 0.16 there might have been tons of bets after for much higher amounts, who knows and it doesn't matter anyway this is a nice win and will draw a lot of traffic Cloudbets way.
1254  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS Cannabis tea on: March 08, 2017, 10:29:22 AM
This would vary from country to country, in the UK there are various Hemp products such as protein powder and so on and there are other products but they carry a really low THC content but these products are legal, I guess other countries will have stricter rules, lucky old USA is the place to be right now for this sort of stuff Smiley
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Analyzing All 700 Altcoins on: March 08, 2017, 09:56:20 AM
I don't think you will find any place that gives you an individual analysis of each active altcoin, there are just so many and there are a lot of duds, you will find it much easier and fulfilling to do some research on some of the coins yourself here on the forum and make your own mind up.
1256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hasn't Bitcoin been hacked in the past? on: March 08, 2017, 09:54:12 AM
No bitcoin has never been hacked, you are probably referring to the various exchanges that have been hacked in the past but bitcoin will not be hacked.  Quick google search on bitcoin security gives you some information http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/bitcoin-security/
1257  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] SPECTROCOIN.COM Bitcoin Exchange, Wallet, Debit Card and Merchant solution on: March 07, 2017, 11:55:37 AM
Site design and operation of the service is bad.
Require selfie + ID after loading a large amount $$$ on the card

How large is large?  on their site it shows as $2,500/€2,500/£2,000 being the maximum top up for an unverified account, anything above that you will need to verify, if your amount is above this you would need to verify.
1258  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-03-02]Bitcoin 'creator' races to patent technology with gambling tycoon on: March 02, 2017, 07:32:25 PM
Dear dear, thought this guy got finished off by the authorities, was he not in trouble with some tax issue? I can't quite remember.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $WBB - Wild Beast Bitcoin alt coin ~ huge news *1st in crypto* on: March 02, 2017, 05:33:00 PM
I was in the slack up until Feb 28th and then got booted. No explanation. Maybe because I never posted. But the new WBB name was supposed to be revealed Mar 1 to the slackers. I'm pretty disappointed about getting the boot and have no news to offer except it should be revealed 'soon'. That said I still believe in this project and will buy more if price goes lower. I think its people panic selling on the total sudden radio silence.
It might be a good move to have the new name "soon" as this has been a common word in the old thread, I really should have signed up to the slack ages ago.

Yourself and tj303 no worries mates.  Dev has stated from my hearing that new ANN is soon when all info releases soon (lol soon word again) and then he will open slack channel again as it needs to be renamed as well to whatever new coin/token name is.  Then ppl can all join again. Smiley

Sad that btc support dropped and also some minor dumps but price always held very well.  you can see it is bot action on wbb on bittrex so it is prob someone trying to manipulate books and scare tactic just before big new / brand change (as usual bullshit tactics in crypto).  I know march is to be big so it is very soon, and I think NDA maybe lifting in April is my guess only.
Cheers, good times ahead then.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $WBB - Wild Beast Bitcoin alt coin ~ huge news *1st in crypto* on: March 02, 2017, 02:45:28 PM
Price has dropped overnight what do we think, is this a good time to gather some more or will we be going even lower?

I love this question.

Do you really expect an answer?
Haha not really
