Manchester United fans complaining about nothing changing since Ole Gunner Solskjaer left Manchester United.
Seven position have been there position bfor sometimes now, and they should expect nothing from Rashford this season,I think Manchester United will get his best bfrom next season.
I think bthey should go on with another protest and chase the glazers, they're using the club to gamble, bet they'll be another gunner's.
Just considering the ambitions of Manchester United at the beginning of the season, the club's management had to somehow react to the failures under the leadership of Ole Gunnar. The fact that this has not yet led to a positive result is another matter, but the logic of the actions taken by the leadership is quite clear. On the other hand, Manchester United should only blame themselves for the missed victory, because the team could not hold a two-goal advantage. Philippe Coutinho, as a newcomer to the team, helped Aston Villa to draw a draw with his appearance. Manchester United played without Ronaldo again, and his help would obviously not be superfluous in this match.

We have less than three hours left for the Marseille - Lille game in the Ligue 1. This is an important game for Marseille to maintain a winning streak and not to let PSG open the point gap more. Lille is still a serious opponent for Marseille even though Lille are quite away from their performance in last season. Lille are not playing like in the season that they were the champions unfortunately. They could have been close to that performance at least. I still expect a competitive game but I guess Marseille would win by a one-goal gap.
Whether Marseille wins or not, it has nothing to do with PSGs position. They are not even closing any gap. Psg is off the picture as they are in a different league. Maybe you meant to say nice  Grin.
Meanwhile Marseille is a goal down, but they will likely equalise because Lile is one man down and the time is till in the first half.
Marseille and Lille played in a draw, which is not a good result for either Marseille or Lille. Considering that Paris Saint-Germain and, even more significantly, Nice won their matches, this result further distances Marseille from PSG and leveled the advantage over Nice in terms of lost points in the standings. Lille lost the chance to get closer to Marseille in the tournament, which always allows a face-to-face meeting. On the other hand, the teams have maintained the status quo among themselves. Paris really can not worry about the competitors' games yet, given the gap the club has secured for itself. At least ten points of advantage are a solid foundation in the fight for the title.

Real Madrid is back to what they are known for, Winning Trophies. Just the first month of the year and what a Return of the Royal Team. Ancelotti is doing a fantastic job at Madrid. Not Every manager does well with good players though. Ancelotti has done a wonderful job in this Real Madrid squad, they play possession, counter attack ,high pressing. And the credit goes to best midfield trio in Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Modric. I was impressed with Luca Modric, he is 36 and still plays every single game at an exceptional level, forget about one of the best midfielders ever to play the game, he is one of the greatest player every to play the game.
You're only saying these because Madrid, presently haven't gotten another strong club side just like FC Barcelona that can wipe their ass off the score sheets and it's now looking asnif they are champions...
Barcelona has reduced enormously on thier performances and ball play and we all know these, in which they were the only club that could hold them down and sometimes win them hands perfectly... What I'm trying to say is that ;betis, rayo vallocano, real socidad, espanyol,Sevilla, lavente and all others aren't strong enough to defeat this almighty Madrid and it's becoming a problem.
As they say, the fact that other clubs cannot yet seriously compete with Real Madrid is the problem of these clubs, but not Real Madrid Wink This may be a serious problem for the competitiveness of the championship in the future, but by no means now. And if Barcelona's problems were already clearly read before the start of the season and the club was not considered seriously as a competitor for the title, then the current problems of Atletico Madrid look quite unexpected for me personally. With all due respect to Sevilla and despite not such a big gap from the first place, the club has not yet seen the strength that would allow it to overtake Real Madrid and become champion this season.

Transfer rumours:
Real Madrid or Barcelona must spend 350 million euros (Ł292m) to sign Norway striker Erling Braut Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, a figure that includes the 21-year-old's transfer fee, wages across a six-year deal and commissions paid to agent Mino Raiola and his father. Does it just seem to me that this is a huge amount of money for a still relatively young player who has not learned to play under great pressure of expectations? Besides, it seems to me that this is an unattainable amount of money for Barcelona.
This is really interesting I think. If he is really going to cost that much to the teams interested in him despite having a favorable release clause, then there are not many teams which can afford him this summer. Because many teams have been having financial problems and only the rich ones have had the situation under control so far. Because of this, I think that Barcelona should already forget about him. But I can't say the same for the teams like PSG, Real Madrid and Manchester City. They would still be willing to pay that much money for him.
Actually, in my humble opinion, the option with Barcelona immediately looked less plausible than the options with other teams. If Barcelona did not manage to fit into the parameters of financial fair play in order to keep Messi in its squad, then what can we say about a full-fledged and expensive transfer of such a promising footballer as Haaland, not forgetting also that it will still have to spend money on payments to the footballer himself and his famous agent in the person of Mino Raiola. However, if the amount concerned only 75 million euros, then it seems that there would still be at least some chances that Barcelona would find financial reserves for this, but anything above 150 million euros would be clearly an unaffordable burden for the club.

The Atalanta - Inter game was really boring I think. I would have expected both teams to score in this huge game. Because they are both very capable teams when it comes to scoring. But both halves of this game were pretty balanced and it ended in a 0-0 draw. But in the end, Atalanta still managed to prevent Inter from winning another league game. Inter had a great winning streak and Atalanta were the team to end it. But they still maintain being unbeaten also. And this is an opportunity for Milan to get one point ahead of them by beating Spezia tomorrow.
As I said before, due to the fact that there was too much at stake, the teams were still cautious and there was no scoring shootout. On the other hand, it cannot be said that the teams had no scoring chances at all. Both sides had scoring chances, but they did not lead to effective action. I personally sympathized with Atalanta in this match so that the club would also participate in the championship race and at least a draw would not allow Inter to break away from Atalanta in the standings. We can also say that Inter's impressive winning streak in the championship has finally been interrupted, and Milan gets a chance to come out on top.

A win by Newcastle over Watford will temporary placed them above relegation zone, that does not mean they had escape it, their are lots of outstanding matches yet to be played by both Burnley and Watford after completion of those matches the coast will be cleared then relegation bound clubs will be revealed, clubs battling to escape relegation this season will be very tough and very competitive, Watford, Burnley, Newcastle and Norwich will slug it out among themselves, while Everton and Leeds has to up their games else the risk being push down to relegation zone.
Newcastle will not be able to get out of the relegation zone if they don't buy more players. They need big help and motivation to win the game and get out of the red zone. I hope they do in the next 19 games and they still have that chance. It's a shame if Newcastle threw away that opportunity this season as they are starting to be known as one of the richest teams in the Premier League. But without bringing in decent new players, they won't be able to do so easily.
For today's match, it looks like Brighton vs Crystal Palace will have to settle for sharing points. This draw is certainly not expected because Brighton can excel from Crystal Palace. But the reality is different where Crystal Palace is able to make it difficult for Brighton until the end of the match.
Newcastle still has a long way to go to build a team that at first at least keeps its registration in the Premier League and one victory will not play a decisive role in this. On the other hand, I would like to say that in order to leave the basement of the standings, you need to take much fewer steps than in order to claim the top places. Therefore, with the normal recruitment of the team in this transfer window, there are excellent chances for the successful implementation of this goal. It's just that there's not much time for this right now and we need to act quickly. The most important thing at this stage is to decide on the candidacy of a head coach who will be able to form and use this squad effectively.

It has been requested by Pep Guardiola that his club move and make a significant effort to recruit Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund this summer. Whatever Pep Guardiola wants, he gets. Only Haaland himself or fate can stop it. In spite of having such a great squad, Pep still wants Haaland. Regardless of the circumstances, Pep and Man City always get what they desire. I think he should leave and make his career at Manchester City.
Erling Halland must make a wise decision, to decide his future, because if Erling Halland chooses the wrong club, his career will fade, like other star players who make mistakes in choosing a club, such as Torres who played brilliantly while defending Liferpol but after he moving to chelsea his career also dimmed, as well as coutinho who moved to barcelona, erling halland is currently being hunted by 3 giant clubs, real madrid, barcelona and manchester city, all three really want the services of erling halland, and they are ready to spend a lot of money in order to bring erling Halland, in my personal opinion, among the 3 three teams, Erling Halland is better off anchoring to Manchester City, the reason is because Manchester City have everything, they have a solid team, good finances, and definitely have a great coach, we can only waiting where erling halland will be anchored..
As for an great coach, I would like to say the following: I do not think that Josep Guardiola will devote the rest of his coaching career exclusively to Manchester City and will work at the club until its completion Wink Therefore, I would not be surprised at all if Guardiola leaves the club in the coming years and solves new tasks and challenges. Therefore, I did not advise Haaland, when linking his future fate and career with Manchester City, to rely heavily on the factor of further work with Guardiola and also take into account other advantages and nuances. However, Erling is no longer a small child and should understand such things, and in extreme cases, the father and the agent can also help the player clarify these things Wink

Just because a team plays only a certain nationality (or even area) players doesn't mean that they are playing "the real football" type of situation, it just doesn't mean that at all. It is classic that we are talking about something that is just a limited version of football and that is not really meaning anything in this day and age.
To be fair, I could even say that it is a bit racist to deny playing other nationality players as well, you can have a great youth setup and favor your own clubs players, but at the same time you should be more focused on getting a better team. Bilbao manages to be at the top levels with just basque players but that doesn't sound like they are utilizing themselves fully, imagine being this good and not getting anyone else, and then add other nationality players on top of this, you will certainly be doing a lot better.
Betting exclusively on Basque players has always been a trademark of Athletic Bilbao and has been a system-forming factor that in some way cements the team, serves as the core and basis of identity. Although, of course, for the sake of this, at times it was necessary to resort to all sorts of tricks, looking for Basque ancestors from candidates for the team. But this is the cementing foundation and at the same time is a deterrent that does not allow using the full breadth of potential candidates. However, let's also not forget about Athletic Bilbao's not the most huge financial resources, so such an approach in recruiting a team is to some extent justified and understandable.

Maybe that's why they recruited Messi. As we saw that with even a bad squad like Barcelona's Messi was able to do wonders. Barcelona can now feel that how important Messi was for them. He single-handedly carried them to success. Maybe that's why the PSG board thought that Messi will be able to help them get the CL trophy. So far this season PSG do look like a contender for the title, let's see what the future holds for them.
Messi was a great player for Barcelona, prolly the best to ever come out of camp nou, but I'd not say that he singlehandedly carried Barcelona to glory, I know he was their most important and influential player, But Barcelona is a great club and they had a lot of quality players, Messi made them absolutely complete, but he wasn't everything, he also needed other players to function as well, what I mean is, Barca and Messi had a seamless relationship. Just take a look at how things are panning out in PSG for Messi, he isn't at his best cause he does not seem to have the sort of connection he had at Barcelona. Having said that, I still don't think PSG are somewhat ready to win the CL, they have the individual talents, but as a team, they are not the best and it could still take them a while before they are CL champions.
I also disagree with the fact that Messi allegedly single-handedly created the success of a team like Barcelona. Barcelona was just as strong as a team and their famous tiki-taka just requires great teamwork and the same great performers that were available. Therefore, of course, it is foolish to say that all the recent successes of Barcelona are solely the merits of Messi. Let's not forget that the backbone of that Barcelona was also an important part of the Spanish national team that became world and European champions. In addition, let's not forget that Messi is not getting any younger, and therefore his factor as a player also weakens with time, so the Paris Saint-Germain management should definitely keep this in mind.

Liverpool 0-0 Arsenal
The game ended with a goalless draw. Even though Arsenal had Xhaka sent off after just 24 minutes for dangerous play on Jota, for some reason Liverpool could not make that count. The return leg will be at Arsenal and they will surely be difficult to beat unless Liverpool put out a full first team. I think Liverpool might regret not taking advantage of this game.
@JollyGood Liverpool are without Salah and this is an excellent opportunity for Arsenal to try their luck and win this fixture, hence I would say the same scoreline but with different team i.e. Arsenal. Lastly I feel that Arteta may be keen to win a trophy and this tournament is an excellent chance of winning it, hence I feel Arsenal should be able to beat Liverpool.
If I'm not mistaken, Liverpool not only failed to score a single goal in this match, but even failed to land a single shot on goal. It can be said that the removal of Jak played a bad joke with the Liverpool players and they could not find the keys to the Arsenal team. Or we can say that the early removal of their player forced Arsenal to change the model of their game and forced them to focus even more on defending their own goal. Even more, at the beginning and in the middle of the half Arsenal played at times even better than the opponent and it was completely unnoticeable that the team had one less player. And only at the end of the match, when the Arsenal players got tired, Liverpool put pressure on the opponent's goal and had chances to score the ball.
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 13, 2022, 11:50:19 PM
Other than last season, I don't think we will see any other team able to compete with PSG in the next few seasons, the financial strength that PSG has so far has made them strong enough and able to bring in every star player they want, I think if PSG being in the premier league competition with the existing squad as it is today, of course they will get more competitive opponents compared to clubs in the ligue 1.
Don't underestimate other teams, PSG is still a team that can play badly and don't get maximum points. I don't doubt their financial ability, but I doubt how they can win the Champions League. There are quite a few teams in various leagues that previously managed to dominate their rivals as title winners such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester City, but that dominance will surely be broken when other teams can play better. So you can't say that financial strength will guarantee the team's success in winning all the titles every season.
Financial power, of course, does not guarantee winning the title, but it helps a lot to do it Grin Individual teams can play on equal terms in individual matches and even beat the favorite, but over a long distance, financial strength and, accordingly, great power and depth of the squad should still play a decisive role. It's a different matter when we talk about the international arena. There will be competitors with a comparable budget and a set of players, and let's not forget that it is much easier to defeat an opponent in two matches of the Champions League cup system than in the round-robin system of the national championship.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 13, 2022, 11:40:27 PM
Juventus are going to play a home match against Udinese in two days. Juventus have been like a machine for 7 weeks as they didn't lose in those matches. And they got a loss against Inter last night in the Super Cup match by 2-1. They lost it by the goal came in the 120th minute which shows that they were really good at fighting back against Inter too. And I don't think that they will be out-of-morale just because of this loss. I think that they are good enough to defeat Udinese now and they can maintain their streak of being unbeaten.
Juventus are really making their fans happy this season by winning games back to back, and are very consistent in doing that.
Ever since Christiano Ronaldo left, they've had a team spirit, showing mumentum and energy in every game they play. Indeed Juventus is one of the favourites to win the league tittle this season.
I also believe in the potential of Juventus and I am sure that the team is capable of achieving more this season, but still, it is not worth showing excessive optimism about the team's performance and showing strong confidence about the team's ability to win every match. Let's still be realistic, and the same match with Roma certainly brought a lot of joyful emotions to the fans of the team, but still such comebacks do not happen every time by order, and if such a miracle had not happened, I'm afraid now there would be completely different assessments of the current team's game. Although, of course, such matches can help the players and the team as a whole gain more confidence in their abilities, that the team is able to get out of even such hopeless situations. And with the score 1-3, the situation was quite similar to an almost hopeless one for Juventus.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 13, 2022, 11:31:38 PM
I have no idea about the offers. As far as I know, Dortmund are just wondering about what Haaland is thinking of first of all. If he is likely to stay, then they would do their best to meet his demands. And the most critical point for them is to increase his release clause to a very big sum from around €75m. Because his current release clause is really nothing for rich and big clubs now. But I think he should leave and shouldn't waste his career at Dortmund for so many years.
Personally, I can't imagine any reasons why Haaland would stay at Borussia Dortmund after the summer. With all due respect to Borussia Dortmund, but still this is not the team with which you can achieve maximum results. And Haaland, in his current state and with his potential, is able to achieve much more than taking places in the standings below Bayern Munich. Keeping Haaland is only a small part, you also need to find financial means to form a decent environment in the face of the players of the main team in order to claim high goals not only at the national, but also at the international level. Borussia Dortmund does not seem to have any of this in the near future and staying in Dortmund for Haaland is only a loss of precious time in a football player's career that is by no means infinite in time.

Many players in Bayern Munich's squad have been infected with the coronavirus. However, I think they will be able to return to the squad before the Champions League match.
Yes, some of them were infected when they were on vacation including their captain, Manuel Neuer, and some other players. Even it has happened several days ago and they are being quarantined, it doesn't close any other possibilities of other players being infected.
I am sure that the club has their best ways and strategy to avoid this thing happening again, for we can see from several months ago, several players were infected.
The club should decide maybe such kind of more strict rules to the players and all management regarding the probabilities of Covid-19 effect, moreover, right now, there are several new variants that may be more harmful and easily spread.
Fortunately, the next leg of the UEFA Champions League is still about 1 month later, so the players should have been recovered and not quarantined again. But once more as you said, not only for Bayern but also for other clubs, this covid pandemic is still around us and they must be more careful not to be infected by the virus.
As far as I understand, the new strain of coronavirus is more contagious and many clubs, including Bayern, have become victims of its infection, but it is also much easier to carry. Indeed, there is still a month before the first games of the Champions League playoffs and let's hope that, in the worst case, a new wave of the epidemic is now at its peak and then everything will go downhill. Therefore, it may even be for the best that there are so many infected football players now, as cynical as it would not sound. But then everything should be much better and the number of infections should be much less when the main part has already been ill.

Can't recall the source honestly and whether it was an information coming from his friends or journalists but it sounded logic for me. It is like seeing CR7 joining Liverpool, he will play with Salah, Mane, Firmino. It doesn't mean they are better than him but there will be an intense competition, less goals, and your impact will be diluted with them. At the opposite, in La Liga there isn't much choice for the clubs. In Real Madrid for example you have VJ and Benzema, if you add Mbappe then it will be good, if you add Haaland it will be better for the club but not for the players.
What the footballer himself will not say, his agent or father may well say, and they are also quite influential figures in this matter Grin I have already expressed a similar opinion and I am glad that my opinion completely coincides with this information Wink It is not necessary to formulate and assert so crudely that Haaland is afraid of competition with Mbappe and therefore does not want to play with him in the same club. There is simply nothing wrong when a football player wants all the attention and love of the fans and the management of the club to be turned to the only modest and irreplaceable person and not sprayed in vain in other directions Grin

Benzema scores again. I love this man. It is very difficult to do justice to the Real Madrid jersey for many years. However, we cannot say the same for Benzema. He became a true Real Madrid legend. He scored the goal that put Real Madrid ahead again today. The situation is now 2-1 in favor of Real Madrid.
Karim Benzema has been loyal, committed and consistent in Real Madrid. I don't even know if I will say his prime is coming at his old age. He is a true legend of the club.

Meanwhile, Barcelona put in some efforts I least expected from them. They have really improved.  Beating Real Madrid in possessions and passes. I was so astonished that I had nothing else to do than to praise Xavi.
His commitment is showing results. Barcelona can be great again.
It would be strange enough if Xavi tried to instill a different style of play in Barcelona. Still, Xavi himself played in Barcelona and knows perfectly well what Barcelona played and how Barcelona should play now. Another question is that the current level of the composition does not yet allow this to be done in full. It should not be a secret to anyone that Barcelona has to make non-standard moves in order to free up financial resources for signing new players, such as re-signing a contract with old players on different terms. By the way, I'm getting a little scared for Real Madrid and for its sporting results if something happens to Benzema and he has to drop out before the end of the season.

Kane is deteriorating seriously and it's becoming a big problem, not just to himself and the club but his career....
He looks very unhappy most times and it seems he's not ready to stay any longer in the club,(since he made this confession and was denied the grant because his contract was already renewed for the season)
I think he also wants to experience other club sides and maybe boost his career a little farther if he could, maybe possibly get the balon do'r
When I was previously looking through his past records, I came to understand that football remains a game of passion and if you ain't compassionate for your club side, then nothing will work
Yea I think he needs new challenges for him to up his game, he has done alot at spurs he would like to go to a bigger club to test his self with other big players. Imagine if he is in that Manchester City team, playing with players he has admired at the past like KDB, Gundogan, Kyle walker Bernardo Silva and MAHREZ,I think he will score goals lots of goals.
It's not just about Kane, it's about the very level of play of a team like Tottenham. If Conte can strengthen the squad, then Kane's game will look different. Although, of course, it is felt that the disruption of the transfer to Manchester City did not have the most favorable effect on the level of the player's game. Kane is no longer so ruthless to the opponents' goal and his performance leaves much to be desired. But for me it is not at all clear whether the story of Kane's transfer has ended or Manchester City will still make new attempts to implement the transfer. Simply because if City set themselves the main goal of buying Haaland and achieve this, then there is no certainty that then Manchester City will still spend a lot on the transfer of Kane.

Cristiano Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes has flown to England for a crisis meeting with the Manchester United forward as the 36-year-old considers his future at the club. Is that a sign that Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United? If so, where could he go now, which club?
I knew Ronaldo wasn't going to find things easy in Manchester United, I mean, even prior to his move back to Old Trafford, United was a club struggling with quite a lot of issues, they were also uncertain whether to retain their manager then (ole), or do away with him, they have finally fired Ole, but honestly, I knew Solskjaer wasn't the sole problem, they have enough quality players to challenge for trophies, but it's more like they are just a mediocre club at the moment. Ronaldo as well wasn't going to change all that, I really do not know what he was thinking when he made that move, it's crazy if he is trying to push himself out of the team, he signed a contract with them, and he should stay with the club both in good and bad times.
Everybody knows how big Cristiano Ronaldo is in the world of football and even outside football, he is both a great player, a role model and a public figure to to millions of people around the globe. Cristiano Ronaldo signed just a 2 year contract deal with Manchester United and he had been outstanding even since returning to the club, Ronaldo was fully aware of how Manchester United is right now and how they have been unable to keep up with other big teams before he signed with them. So I don’t really think he needs to leave the club right now and I am not really sure he has plans to. Cristiano Ronaldo have won a whole lot of trophies  during his career and for me he is just about scoring goals for now. Breaking and making goals and appearance  records.
I also don't think Ronaldo will leave the club in this transfer window, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if it happens at the end of the season. But for this, several factors must come together. One of these factors will be Manchester United's poor performance and non-participation in the Champions League next season. Everyone knows how ambitious the Portuguese is, and given his age and, accordingly, the remaining number of years of his football career, I would not be surprised if Ronaldo prefers to leave for a club that participates in the Champions League. Also, the figure of the head coach who will come to the club after Rangnik and his attitude to Cristiano's role in the team will play a big role.

I think it would be wise for Djokovic to actually leave the country anyway just in case
that ban is re-instated.

There is a report that Djokovic declared he had COVID on the 16th of December but
2 days later was at a public event. Very controversial, but thats Djokovic isnt it?
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2022/jan/08/novak-djokovic-relied-on-december-covid-infection-for-vaccine-exemption-court-documents-reveal
He is not planning to leave the country, quite the opposite. he is in Melbourne training with Goran Ivanišević. If he stays my bet goes on him, he will have something to prove and he would be top favorite even without that.
That positive test from 16th of December is either fake or he is really being a firs class idiot regarding covid situation. I am all for freedom of choice regarding vaccination but I can't believe somebody with positive test would be careless enough to mingle with the people and participate in social activities.
This situation really does not paint Djokovic. You can treat vaccination as you like, but endangering other people knowing perfectly well about a positive test result is not worthy of such a great player and, accordingly, thanks to this, a public figure who influences his behavior and serves as a role model for other people. It turns out that Djokovic and his entourage cynically took advantage of a medical exception to the rules and forgery for the sake of participating in the tournament and saw it all perfectly. There are no winners and losers in this story, and any outcome of the case will leave a feeling of some disgust from the behavior of all parties.

I'm curious about what Tottenham will do this week too. Since Conte came to the team, they still haven't lost a game in the Premier League. This is a really motivating thing for Tottenham. But Arsenal also are in a great shape. They are having a wonderful season now and they are at the fourth position in the standings. But it looks like they have a really big obstacle in front of them like Tottenham. As it is a home game for Tottenham too, I think that they can benefit from this. And the game seems most likely to end in a draw to me.
Also, another factor that may affect the course of the match will be Arsenal's unexpected defeat by Nottingham and relegation from the FA Cup. As far as I know, this is the second such departure of the club at such an early stage of the tournament and last time Nottingham was also guilty of this. Such defeats can shake up and motivate the team well, but it happens that, on the contrary, they hit confidence. In any case, both Tottenham and Arsenal really look great in the Premier League and it will be interesting to see this confrontation. It is also worth considering that there are only two points in the standings between the clubs and therefore both teams can play with caution and the match can really end in a draw.
