Yes! I finally managed to compile it just now. I had to download Ubuntu image (I have lost all the nerves with windows) and work in virtual machine but at least it's working. This was the hard part. Now to finish the new design  Good job! I was afraid I was the only one left here  Ok, here is a tiny, tiny teaser image of what's coming https://i.imgur.com/gpUaaOc.pngNope still here! I think probably several other people are too but are just hanging back for now. It's great that you're working on stuff. At least someone is! This coin never really got off the ground. Also, that picture didn't load for me. Excited to see new things coming in the future. Bittrex still hasn't delisted us so that's good. I think that if they keep getting communication from you (or whoever the official developer is if not you) that at least someone's working on the coin then maybe they won't delist. Also, maybe some of those updates you posted could be put on twitter and reddit in a condensed form. Maybe you're already planning to do that once more features are done. Anyway, like I said well done that you're putting time into this. Did it give you an error of some kind or did it open a little dark square? If it's a dark square than it did load  . Just zoom in and maybe increase brightness and it should be ok.. Maybe I made it a little to dark . I would rather leave the social part to someone else, but if nobody wants to do it, I will update twitter, reddit and other, but only after the feature is implemented. Ya it's a tiny square. I guess I'll have to zoom and lighten the picture. I zoomed it by about 250% but still nothing. I'll try lightening it next. |

Damn, I was hoping so much I'm gonna manage to compile the wallet last night and I almost succeeded. I passed the perl problem I had before (the problem was exactly what it stated, there was no perl ) and after that everything was running smoothly until the very last step - compiling MACDcoind. Now, I have a funny feeling that the problem would not exist if only i had a 32-bit windows. The problem is: closesocket(hsocket) cannot be used as a function int ret = closesocket(hSocket) (actualy this happens after I make a "fix" in some other header file that has to do something with UINT_PTR which makes me think that something is not right with operating system) Maybe I've just made a mistake somewhere while compiling dependencies (which btw took like 5 hours and if I have to do it all over again I'm gonna shoot myself ). Hope during the weekend I will have more luck. Any luck so far? |

Sorry, but this is happening more frequently unfortunately. Same thing happened with MACD. We're trying to take over too. Other than the MACD I have, I'm done with crypto. Can't afford to just throw money down the drain on scams. I had SING too, but sold before the crash. Still didn't make anything because I bought at 100,000 satoshi. Haha wow that was stupid. Anyway, good luck with this one.

I can help you guys implement TOR-technology. I have a working TOR on Triangles that can be ported over.
Any help is greatly appreciated, especially when it comes to features! Before we do it (don't get me wrong but we need to be careful after all that has happen with this coin) could you just tell us more about TOR technology that you would implement (what it does, how it's working... sry, but I don't have the time to follow every coin and it's features so I don't have a clue what you're talking about ) and second, more important question, what brought you to MACD? What we need to do to help? I saw in the old thread that you mentioned staking some coins. How does that work? What amount is needed? Now, just to update peeps whit my progress. Skinning itself is going ok, there are many more things to be done, but it's getting done. The thing that annoys the hell out of me is that I still didn't manage to compile the wallet. Linux on my mining rig (yes, it's currently used for development, not mining ) started hallucinating (really not that odd since it has 4 windows systems and one ubuntu. Now that's what I call a rig! ) so I have pretty colors all over my screen and the system is unusable. On my windows machine I am stuck on configuring opensll (I get some error, something like line 2: perl: not found) and I didn't have the time to look for an answer to that problem more thoroughly so if anybody can help, please do . I posted on the other thread that I'd be willing to be a super node as I have lots of coins that are already staking. I wish I could code or know perl but I don't. I can at least reach out to bittrex again and let them know not to delist due to coin being developed again. |

If I can offer to help you guys out - I have a working TOR-ANON in Triangles that can easily be ported over to MACD also.
It will require that a few of you step it up and stake enough coins to be working as super-nodes before and after anon.
worth noticing: When I added ANON to Triangles the price went up so high that everyone sent off their coins to Bittrex and shut off the network behind them, just letting you know that if I help you out - donŽt do the same mistake as my peeps did.

Is there a working wallet for Windows? I have downloaded the wallet from the first page of this forum but it will not sync. Also, the logo in the wallet is the old red and green that looks like "MAD" instead of the new blue M logo. Can someone please help me? Hi everyone, This is my first post on this thread. I've been standing behind silently waiting to see what will happen and I must admit that I am sad this coin is going down. MACD is a good coin, without premine and without IPO and without glitches in blokchain (so all of that makes it really one of the few although the coin itself is not (r)evolutionary in any way). I am sick and tired of greedy, lazy people and especially of devs that do create a good coin and later just don't give a fuck (sorry for bad language but it has to be done). I DID make money on MACD but for some reason i like the coin (and I am always only bothered with coins I personally like and don't give a crap about hypes of all kinds) so I decided to do what I can for MACD coin. First of all, let's make one thing clear, I am not a dev (at least not crypto currency developer. I am iOS developer though and I'm only starting to get deeper into crypto developing). So no, I am not new MACD developer and no, i'm not making any promises or have any timeline or roadmap (nor will there be any). I am just a guy interested in crypto and a MACD supporter who is sick and tired of people doing nothing and yet waiting to get rich. For all of you MACD bagholders, no, I am not the one who will bring you money, cause I am not here for you nor am I interested in price (and don't get me wrong, big price is always good but I wont allow being bothered with it) of MACD so if you plan to continue with waiting and hoping (while doing absolutely nothing for the coin) I have only one thing to say to you: If i ever manage to revive MACD or do anything big with the coin I PROMISE YOU that you won't know about it until it's to late! Now, with all that being said, let me just repeat one more time: I am not here to revive the coin, I am not new MACD dev, I WON'T make any promises and I don't know what or when will I do something for the MACD. This coin doesn't have a dev, but that is ok since it's not that big of a deal because the coin is working like a charm. The more important thing that MACD is missing is community. So, if there are some of you left that would call themselves community please, show yourselves if you are interested in putting a new life into this coin since there are many things that can be done (and should be done) outside of coding. Anyway, first thing's first. For now, I will make new version of wallet which will only bring new wallet skin (so that way we can at least enjoy looking at our worthless coins ). That will be done as soon as I manage to successfully compile the darn thing. After that I will try to implement couple of small features into the wallet (bittrex api if still there, blockchain inside wallet, etc). After that, who knows . Implementing anon is on my todo list BUT by the time I manage to figure out how to do it might just not be important at all anymore but the good thing is if I know how to implement anon features that would basically mean I could do anything I want with the coin and THAT is the moment when the party will start. Please, don't ask me questions like: Why is this coin good, why would anybody by it, is this coin dead, what can investors (many people suddenly became big investors which just sounds so funny to me because, to be honest, most of those "investors" are simply gambling, but I guess it's way cooler and easier if you see and call yourself investor instead of gambler ) expect from the dev and similar stuff. At the very end, if there are some of you who are questioning themselves should you have anything do with this shitcoin, to buy or not to buy, what can you expect from the three times dead coin? Well, I would say stick with MACD you won't regret it but that would be the longest shot ever, so this is 100% zero guaranties shot... Well I think people are still interested in getting this coin off the ground. I know I am. I appreciate you at least trying to get a new wallet skin and the bittrex api (if still there), and blockchain inside wallet. Hopefully other people still have an interest in the coin too. |

So, we're looking for yet another dev. Preferably one that's willing to actually do something with this coin. Like implement some sort of anon solution, and has a unique vision for the coin. Coin was started about a month ago, but original dev bailed, and the dev that took over coin a couple of weeks ago has bailed also. There's nothing wrong with the coin, just no one seems to be serious about taking it over. well, 263276.5728 MACD are being dumped in 0.2394 BTC in less of 210 sat if someone buy it quickly like a bot , and nobody sell, prices will rise to 210 sat,and so on,problem is that someone can dump again right? so maybe we can join in a only wallet a lot of MACD like to 4M to avoid dump, when it reach high value maybe Cryptowolf and Dev team take again it because they will see high value in coin to make improvements and new annoucements will be done, faucet,logo,etc..... coins will be returned to his owners after re-valuation, everybody learn lesson of dont dump to low prices.

Bittrex has a post again saying that market's scheduled to be delisted due to low volume and disinterest. Send tweets again I guess to bittrex asking them to not delist, and dev needs to contact them as well.

Well what if we put out a thing once again saying we're looking for another dev? If this dev doesn't deliver by Friday? Holding dev's hostage or accountable when they decided to take on the project on a whim isn't the way to go, but I don't think expecting someone to pop in and say hello is asking too much especially since faith in the coin is a bit low. I'm not trying to hold them hostage. Cryptowolf when he took this coin over on July 9th got 1 out of the 4 things done as part of his 6 outlined steps of lifting this coin off the ground, and that was good. But so far TOR and anon spec haven't been done, but that's ok because it's only been 12 days since then. Honestly that's not much time. However Sp00lin9 came forward on July 15th and said that new roadmap would be announced by the end of that day, but it wasn't announced at the end of that day or any day since then. How long does it take to at least release a roadmap? But let's say that both Cryptowolf and Sp00lin9 were just community managers or something, and weren't actually part of the dev team that took this coin over. That is they don't know how to code. Maybe then they didn't really know what the dev was doing since they were never coders themselves, and weren't working on the coin. So, maybe we shouldn't have listened to them in the first place about their promised roadmaps and announcements. Who knows. Btw, both Cryptowolf and Sp00lin9 might actually be gone now because I haven't heard a since peep from either of them in a while, unless someone else has? Anyway, so now new dev "team" came forward on July 17th saying that they too haven't heard from Cryptowolf, but that they've been hard at work, and that they were guaranteeing the coin's functionality on the test net, and that an official announcement would be released that night regarding the new wallet updates. Well, that night nothing was released, and no announcements of a delay or anything has been released since then. That was 4 days ago. Maybe the dev's just really bad at communicating, or doesn't understand that nobody really has faith anymore that this coin's going anywhere. But really, at least give an announcement of a delay. So, so far no roadmap, no new wallet, no Tor, no anon spec, no announcements, and no announcements of delays. I too am holding onto my coins because why sell now at this low price? I'm also holding out hope that one day I wake up and dev announces the roadmap, that there's a new wallet with TOR functionality, that the anon spec's almost done, and that the BTC volume of this coin on Bittrex is way up and price is way up too. 3/4 total MACD coin will be sell in less of 10s..., and after it will rise to the moon, perhaps it is a reason of not roadmap yet, let dump to 1 sat. and after will release news........  only see buy orders .......... Well, I definitely won't be buying any more. I already have alot, but I bought at 300 satoshi 2 weeks ago, and then bought more at 200 satoshi 1 week ago thinking that new dev would've done something by now. Now I'm just gonna hold my coins and stake from now on and hope for the best. |

Dev team,
There are still some of us holding our coins and plan on holding them. Can you give us any update on where things are with this coin today? Are you close to having people test a new wallet, etc? Would be great to know considering things are looking bleak at the moment.
