1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Whole Concept of Bitcoin is Failing! on: December 20, 2023, 11:21:02 PM
If he initially used Bitcoin as an alternative payment, it should have worked, but he only got it as an alternative payment on a dark site at that time. When it was published it was restricted in several countries to protect the country's original currency, but even so, Bitcoin is still said to be successful in attracting many investors into this coin. No matter how public Bitcoin is, it still gets permission as a commodity asset where everyone has the right to use it as an investment tool. I conclude that Bitcoin has not failed, but it has changed its direction for the progress of Bitcoin and is easier to adopt in all countries.

This ain't about the adoptability or illegal/legal purview but rather it's about even more basic or I would say pillars on which Bitcoin was created which is hassle free, not so expensive and without any third person or party involvement which making P2P transfers and it doesn't make sense if this basic and most important aspect while making transfer is exorbitant amount? I don't think anyone making smaller or even mid range transfer would use Bitcoin as payment mode due to charges which would surpass their transfer amount itself. There shouldn't be spike in transfer fee which will eventually be a clot on Bitcoin.
1242  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: STOP! Before you become a prey of a scammer! on: December 20, 2023, 09:17:44 PM
I see many people falling prey to these techniques especially during the time when market is good and those who are left behind without investing into crypto before the ongoing rally as these people are desperate to make more money and end up losing it all.

I never entertain any DMs or anything I see in social media and now with the emergence of AI any scammers can pretend like influencers or billionaires or owners to benefit their unholy purpose of scamming people. We need to be more cautious than ever and should just ignore any new messages which slid into your DMs and everything you see in social media and start doing our own research.
1243  Economy / Economics / Re: Setting up financial structures before going into the family way on: December 20, 2023, 08:40:37 PM
Yes from my experience I would say if you financially strong and have already set up different stream of income then you are safe as most of the problem arises due to financial difficulties but it may look like misunderstanding or due to lack of mutual respect but if one start doing root cause analysis then they would find money to be the reason for the issue. We have made everything so difficult now and we need more money to show off and impress others as we have set expectation bar so high that we ended up compromising on our basic necessities and unfortunately I am going through that.
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Solana - Is it still good to buy or it's FOMO on: December 20, 2023, 07:49:06 PM
Solana has been in rally for a while as lot of speculations and news around it and new tokens on it's ecosystem has been credited for it's rally, shall we consider this as beginning and is it a good time to take entry? Someone new to crypto would say "Yes" but those who has been here for a while would be hesitant because we have seen SOL rising from $15 to $259 and then witnessed the downfall as well to less than $8.

I personally feel little bit confused because somewhere I feel if I enter now then I will be doing it in FOMO. Please share your opinion whether we can still take entry or should we wait if there would be any possible market correction and this is not for long term investment.
1245  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poverty change people on: December 20, 2023, 07:28:34 PM
Ofcourse Poverty changes people in both the way either it makes them or breaks them. I have seen both side of people as some have ruined their life and ended up being drug addict and criminals due to poverty and out of desperation, on the other hand I have seen people forcing themselves working on more than one job at the time especially since the beginning of this gig worker era and trust me the company where I work has an employee since last 14 years and he joined as a delivery boy eventhough he was an engineer by education he took this step due to poverty as he couldn't stay home searching for jobs when the market was affected badly post 2008 recession period and now he is a Senior Director of Quality Assurance department in the same organization. But there are lot of unfortunate people who don't get chance to get out of poverty.
1246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Whole Concept of Bitcoin is Failing! on: December 20, 2023, 06:40:17 PM
100% aligned with this as I have same complaint as well because Bitcoin was not created as an investment medium but rather as an cheapest and faster way to make P2P transfers without involvement of third parties and I am taken aback looking at the way people are justify these charges stating these higher fees. These fees are unacceptable but some people are least bothered because they have been using Bitcoin as an investment medium wherein they hodl it in centralized exchanges as an investment and convert it to some other coins like USDT or other alts with lower transfer fees incase if they want to transfer. I think people will soon forget the concept why Bitcoin was created.
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Craze for Meme coins never ends? on: December 20, 2023, 05:37:03 PM
Who doesn't love a cute meme coin? Maybe its not the most scientific investing strategy, choosing coins based on how adorable their little mascots are.  But when you see a floofy Shiba Inu or fluffy cat face staring back atcha, it's hard not to throw some money their way just for fun.   Cheesy

Sure, yeah probably smart to look at the fundamentals, do some research on the team and technology behind it.  But where's the excitement in that? Far as I can tell, cuteness is as legitimate an investing thesis as any.  Could these meme coins totally tank and take my money with 'em? I mean yeah, theres definitely a good chance.  but maybe just maybe. and... one makes it to the moon on adorableness alone.  Hey, crazier things have happened in crypto before.  At the very least, it makes checking my portfolio a heck of a lot more enjoyable.

(This is NOT investment advice)

Crypto investment isn't some fairy tale wherein one will invest into meme coin stating it's cute or it has excitement because and if one say they invest into meme coin because it's cut or fun then they should rather buy a doll or goodies atleast it would stay with them physically.

Mate, this makes zero sense and people want to earn real quick that's why they invest into meme coins as few memecoins had crazy pump wherein the rest has been disastrous. I am not a fan of this concept and I can never agree that people invest for fun or because it's cute because only a noob can do it.

But I'm just curious what is the best AI coin right now?  Cheesy. Memecoin seems to be successful, but we don't know how many project that had died. so lets see about AI

I think, there are many potential altcoins in the market just that many investors are still ignoring them to invest in some new projects that will not bring what the old projects are bringing to their investors in the time of bullish, which is the period every holders is waiting to see their results. Many projects has died to frustrated their investors just because they didn't carry out their personal research to know the strength of the project, and how many investors they have and how many years the project have spend in the community before investing in that particular project. There is still time to invest in some potential altcoins, if you can carry out your personal research to see the potential altcoins that will bring more income to you when the bullish season begin to get mature in the market.

Investors have lost their capital on so many projects and it wouldn't be as easy as 2018 for the new projects/Altcoins to attract investors but gradually the projects which has potential to standout will get the desired investments. We all are aware of potential altcoins as we may see a crystal clear roadmap designed to succeed, series they offer might be the need of the hour and they might have a good dev team but the execution plays a major factor here because most of these so called potential coins lacks execution thus killing their own project and investor's money. It has become really difficult to conclude which coin is potential and which isn't.
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goverment try to take advange over instabilty in prices of stable coins on: December 20, 2023, 01:45:15 PM
I do not know how the CBDC will be distributed, but most likely you will need a KYC verified wallet and it contains all the information about you. Therefore, USDT is still an attractive option for those who want not to provide their data or to send their money between countries, as it is expected that you will need a bank or a system such as SWIFT that can These CBDCs are used to transfer money between each other and basically determine the exchange rate, so USDT and stable cryptocurrencies will be with us for a while until the whole system is based on identity verification, and then they will disappear.

The problem of stable coins being unstable and shady proof to back up their market cap because we don't know if they are really holding resources or US dollars equivalent to the total supply of USDT/USDC that's where the problem arises as the audits which are shared by Tether are self audited not by any third party. Now those who use centralized Exchanges don't mind doing KYC since they have already done that to create the account at centralized exchanges.
1250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Could exchanges leverage on the current market trend to woo new investors? on: December 19, 2023, 07:41:30 PM
I feel this is a seasonal stuff which happens during all the bill run but the difference this time is that we are yet to enter an full fledged bull run but rather the news like Bitcoin spot ETF and upcoming Bitcoin halving has created buzz and people especially newbie are getting into crypto in FOMO. We will be able to see the market market saturation of there are any price correction before the halving which doesn't look within scop this time as back to back Bitcoin related event has sent positive ripple across the crypto world.

I just hope newbie don't end up losing like previous set of newbie who entered market in 2018 and 2021.
1251  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are we expecting between now and Bitcoin halving? on: December 19, 2023, 05:40:04 PM
There could be a lot of price fluctuations between now and halving but if Bitcoin spot ETF is approved then it would play a crucial role before halving, in the past I have made reference that spot ETF might not have major impact on Bitcoin's price and I stand by my word as it wouldn't impact Bitcoin nagatively even if spot ETF is not approved or further delayed.

We might not see the new ATH but there are chances to breach $50k as it has become a psychological barrier now.
1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you take out your investment when in profit? on: December 19, 2023, 04:27:47 PM
I not very active into Altcoin at the moment though occasional investments are there. But when I was active in Altcoin I used to have a very calculated plan wherein i wouldn't take profit until a certain returns and if once that number is breached I used to actively involve myself by setting stop loss 5-7% lesser than the current value and 15% higher as take profit and on e the value of coin goes close to that 15% increase I would cancel the take profit and once again set up renewed stop loss at 5-7% and take profit at 15% higher and the cycle repeats to get the most out of bull run.
1253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you still appreciates the price of Bitcoin if it hasn't be your history price on: December 19, 2023, 02:31:50 PM
More than price or the peak price at bull run the entry price matters the most and I will mention two such scenarios below:

Scenario #1: let's say Bitcoin hits $100000 and i took entry at $90000 i would have hardly gained 10% but for outside who looks at the Bitcoin price it would look huge as they are looking at Bitcoin's value not my portfolio. This is something you are referring here.

Scenario #2: Now let's take current market pric as an example which is $43000 and if I would have taken entry at $20000 then I have gained roughly 115%, though Bitcoin has not crossed previous ATH but I gained huge amount of returns.

I would prefer own profit over the overall Bitcoin value.
1254  Economy / Economics / Re: How to gain money on: December 19, 2023, 08:19:12 AM
Hey this such an open ended question where you will get numerous answers. But, what I feel the most accurate would be getting a job and start earning then comes investment where you invest a part of your salary or just save it in bank until a desired capital is accumulated. Once you earn enough then you can think of starting something of your own which you will be able to have better understanding based on your interest.

For example I have interest in opening a cafe and soup kitchen hence I am accumulate the capital through the saving from my salary and also from the payouts I receive through the campaigns as i. clear about my business idea.

You need to first start earning through a job and have a roadmap for your business venture as one cannot work entire life.
1255  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Everything has changed on: December 18, 2023, 08:47:47 PM
This happens when you step into your 30s or mid 30s as everything gets replaced by responsibilities and you do have money but you don't have time to have peace of mind or even to spend that money on yourself. Every man goes through this unless they are born with silver spoon.I do feel this everyday and it has brough me to a point that I have become like a pre coded machine with the regular routine.

Just to get out of this uneasy zone and not to get into depression usually plan for a trip with friends atleast twice a year and trust mein even my friends are on same boat. This is life we have to take some time out of our busy schedule for our own wellbeing.
1256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I buy bitcoin ETF now? on: December 18, 2023, 07:40:07 PM
I would say it's completely upto you if you are willing to take risk then you can go for it but not beyond what you can afford to lose. People are often confusing it with the Bitcoin Spot ETF and I would not be going ahead with this altcoin as the name it the Altcoin itself suggests that the project might have been planned in hurry once this Bitcoin Spot ETF gained mainstream coverage. Any project which is based on some events rather than proper research and ideology cannot sustain longer
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading new listed coin/token on: December 18, 2023, 07:28:23 PM
This has been the trend for a while now hence it has become like a norm that once the coin is listed in Binance it pumps like crazy and then it starts dumping with heavy fluctuation between pump and dump, in next few days the coin will hit rock bottom (This is the sweet spot), post which we see the coin pumps by 2x to 3x. This might not be the case with all the coins but I have observed this pattern in most of the coins which are listed in Binance. Hence I rather started focusing on increasing my chance of earning profits than trying to figure out if it's a bot manipulation by exchange or something else.
1258  Economy / Economics / Re: Unemplyment at least 50% how world will look like then ? on: December 18, 2023, 06:10:20 PM
Of course there are different instances with "unemployment". It doesn't necessarily mean that being unemployed means you have no money or source of income. But let's imagine what op is trying to say... It would probably result to a downfall of the economy of a country. High unemployment rate could result to a lower buying power of the people. It means that a lot of people have no capability of buying goods. So it can also lead to companies lower sale or worse, closing of other businesses that produces products that aren't really considered as necessity.
Closing of various businesses, will scared foreign investors to invest in the country. The government will also probably borrow money but will have a hard time paying it back as there's low GDP, lower tax from its people and such.

And if such powerful and influential country like USA would experience this, of course, it'll also have an impact to other nations as well.

Indeed, we have witnessed this during 2008-2009 economic crisis as it affected people of all the cohorts either rich or poor or middle/working class people. Usually whenever such crisis happen it directly affects the buying power of elites and then working class and then poor as everyone gets onto the survival mode.

But, Unemployment cannot be directly linked to this incase of unequal wealth distribution where a section of people controls the wealth and has all the buying power while others are unemployed or paid very little. Some African nations and nations rules by dictators are prime example of this.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who knows about cryptocurrency arbitrage? on: December 18, 2023, 04:57:10 PM
I guess you are advertising your services and asking users to join a premium channel else you want to scam people because there is no need of sending DM since this forum is to help everyone by sharing the knowledge and information which we can.

Moreover, the days of arbitrage are gone I have gained decent amount through arbitrage in the past but now it's no longer feasible because exchanges are more vigilant than ever, don't waste money on scam sites like koinknight, coinrule and there were lot more some of them are already closed now.

If you really have something genuine then please share it here.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether: We've onboarded FBI, Secret Service to our platform on: December 18, 2023, 01:31:00 PM
This is a tricky situation wherein Tether is playing safe to stay away from the radar of regulators and it has a valid reason since these wallets were on the sanction list of Office of foreign assets and control but involving FBI and secret services is bit alarming and not because it makes it clear that in future government of US will be patronizing USDT, started with USDT but in future they can do the same to target any cohort of customer let's say if they make ban trading or even set some limit then once USDT has Bowes sown to them and they will do the same once again. I foresee downfall of Tether soon if this continues.
