1241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which type of gambling have more gambling addicts ? on: March 08, 2024, 04:21:55 PM
It is very important for us to know what we are doing so that we don't end up losing big after we have gambled with higher expectations that we are going to win and make some good amount of money for ourselves. Gambling should not always be linked to making profits because this is where the problems mostly comes. We need to know what's wrong with us before we think of fixing the problem.
We should be able to linked ourselves with the current phase of the system. There we have it, the vast majority of gambling addicts coming from football because it's more simple to understand and comprehend unlike casinos that's not worldwide. Our problems will be resolved as soon as we're able to sort out the means of making necessary bold steps in the space. Gambling comes with different sources, we're the ones that would bear the heavy burden when things does go as planned in the system. We just have to control ourselves and ensure we take proper time to lay down solid investment.
I wouldn't want to pick a side here because both the casinos and sports betting are addictive, it now depends on how we can play our way around them. I have seen sports bettors who are so addicted to it, and so are the casino bettors who cannot do anything hobby in a day without betting casinos, so it is like that. The issue is that casino addiction is not always known because people often gamble in privacy since it is not everyone that is privileged to visit sophisticated casinos for their preferred games, so online is the next option. You may not know what they are doing and it will just be like the way they handle their phones privately in which at times they could be playing games and doing some other things that will just be like normal things they do on the phone.

But really, they are gambling and will always love to do it many times a day. One thing that makes casinos so addictive is the ability to wager a small amount of money with a better possibility of winning big. This is not so convenient in sports betting as such because if you use too little money and gamble reasonably, there is no way you can gain a reasonable amount of money.
1242  Other / Off-topic / Re: Know when to stop on: March 08, 2024, 04:02:23 PM
Self-control during gambling is something to strive for absolutely every gambler. A real thrill can be obtained not only from winning, but also from the fact that you were able to leave the game after winning. And it is not so important how big a win you got. Gambling is primarily a game in which we fight with ourselves. If you do not learn to beat yourself, you will never win. This applies not only to gambling, but also to other areas of our lives.
Gambling is game, it have to do with the necessary runs in the system, not minding what's at stake but preached to ourselves to maintain discipline in the market. It become hardened the moment we master how tough and dominant we can be, we don't fall for lesser threats but keen on opening up our mind to take higher risks. Gambling is fun especially when you're milking the system and it does comes very easy for the big winnings. But when it comes to losing ends, we don't always apply our initiative because we become panic about the losses.
Let me simply put it that the gambler who does not have that self-restraint is heading only to regrets, that is why we have to keep it serious and also have some plans and purposes before gambling. Even the plans must be able to fulfil the goals because if the balance is not there, it will be an issue for the gambler no matter how he is trying to patch things to be right. Gambling is a risky activity, which is why we should not take it with levity, and the more we ensure that we engage it with sincerity of what it truly is, the better for us. You can imagine the gambler who needs urgent money finding it in gambling, don't you think such will only waste the little he has again to gambling?

Except for luck in a few cases, such gamblers would almost certainly lose that money. So we better know the right time and psychology to gamble or not gamble at all. Many will also believe that they can gain more when they win, or believe that they can gain in their next tries if they lose, well, I do not go against this because no advice is perfect for it. But one thing that is certain is that no one can balance things without their devised style in place, they will now need to manage their activities in relation to the style and have good plans with it to at least attain some level of balance instead of just gambling and randomising gambling attempts and rely solely on luck. This doesn't work especially if emotion eventually sets in due to the lack of plan and self-control.
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you avoid some games because of racism? on: March 08, 2024, 03:43:05 PM
-snip-
Next time would you choose to not bet on a particular game because you feel the members of the VAR, or the referee are racist, and you are sure that there would be some manipulation?
I think this context is so subjective, it can't be based on the general opinion and truth, and if care is not taken, the person would make a whole lot of avoidable mistakes. At times, we misjudge the situation, racism may never happen in the judgment of the referees and VAR, but at times, some people would always relate what is not there as though it was there. Well, if I am ever caught up in a situation where I believe racism happened in a football, I will overlook it, nothing more, since even if it happens, that's not a must that it would happen again next time.

This is what I think is best for everyone to do as well because it is better to use your strategy to judge rightly than allow fear of referees' judgements to make you miss your bless. I have my standard of analysing my football betting and I make sure that I choose the most promising team with the highest odds. If any match can be well-analysed by me and also has reasonable odds, then I go for it without thinking otherwise.

By the way, I am putting this straight to you, is there racism in football? While waiting for your response, for me, there is nowhere there is no racism, but it will never be so obvious to avoid issues. If not, you would see a lot of protests and football would become something else. That's even if it is obvious to the point of boycotting a bet simply for the fear of racism. That's extreme.
1244  Other / Meta / Re: Should Merit-Sources send merit based on their feelings or quality of the post? on: March 08, 2024, 12:12:00 PM
One truth is: the more you chase merits, the more the merits will escape you... let things happen, participate in the forum normally, always be here, the merits will come naturally.
I think your opinion is exectly! But we are always running behind the merit. We should be getting knowledge at first, after getting the proper knowledge the merit will run behind us.
I've read this story over and over again, but it is not particularly true. Many would chase after the merits but with quality posts and would get it, while others would not chase after it and have quality posts and would still not get it. Nonetheless, some with lesser quality posts would chase after the merits and get it even more, so what you said is though a general saying here. but it's not particularly true.

The merits distribution on this forum is so unexplainable, regardless, do your bit and leave the rest. Nonetheless, if you are writing quality posts, it will often attract merits no matter how little.
1245  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most liquid companies in the gambling industry on: March 08, 2024, 11:50:32 AM
because in physical casinos people know that the chances of scams are very low, they know the owners of the casino and they know very well that the owner of the physical casino will not run away with the customers' money, because he will easily be arrested, and it would be without It makes sense for a rich physical casino owner to steal little money from customers, so in my opinion what makes physical casinos the ones that make the most money is the fact that physical casinos are more reliable

We have to consider the disadvantage of physical bulkiness, these gambling platforms are not safe in their physical appearance considering the amount of money they earned in fiat local currencies, they can be rendered under physical assault for theft, there could also be a means of physical violence in some of these casino houses, gamblers can abuse the casinos in any manner of assault including their fellow gamblers which there's none of these in any form with online gambling platforms.
I share in the view of both you, and @Slow death has very good points, and you have somewhat good points too, but still, I will dance more to the side of @Slow death because all that he said are realities of the day, except that it can't be as total as he stated it. Whether true or not, people believe better in the kind of brick-and-mortar arrangement where they would be able to see the representatives of the casinos. In some cases where it is the direct involvement of the casinos and not agents/franchisement that is involved in establishing the casinos, there is this high level of trust, especially if what they have in the building is worth a fortune to dissuade them from disappearing into thin air. This arrangement often encourages gamblers and they do not always have that power as though they are entirely online that they are untouchable.

Having a physical presence even means that you have the highest chance of registering and being regulated in the country you are in. The report against the casino could be severely sanctioned if found guilty of this arrangement. For this, the casinos would want to be sincere to a great extent and not be awkward in behaviour like most online casinos do. Also, I would like you to consider the fact that you overemphasized things here. How many physical casinos have you heard were harassed or robbed? These guys are not foolish enough to have to hold huge money with them all the time. Even some people who patronise them do transfer to them and not pay with physical cash. The same thing goes to when they want to pay huge money, they do not pay in cash. Above all, no business is without its issues, but the way we handle them matters.
1246  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: March 08, 2024, 10:39:24 AM
First of all, you do not specify the kind of game club you’re talking about, but when looking at it, I guess it is a football you are referring to. You have to understand that every football club intention is to win they have never intended to play poor or to joke with matches because of they are not at the top or the appoint is not high like others, what matters sometimes is the odd, it not really about the club playing poor. If you placing any bit you don’t need to focus on the position of the football club or you just have to focus on is  odd and you proceeded to play your game.
The OP made that mistake, he should have at least added the category of games the strategy fits in and also added the games applicable that could work better with it. Even upon the mistake, I do not know why he has not edited it yet ever since people are complaining. It is not yours alone that I've read, I have read numerous like that in which I was just putting the posters through despite not being the OP.

And yes, football is applicable to this, but the strategy fits in for most of the betting you can find in sportsbooks, though you would need to adjust it in your own way to make it better. I've been using a similar strategy for my sports betting as well and the results have been good. It takes the analysis to know the weak and strong teams based on their past and current performances so that you can use them to know what could become of their outcome when they meet.

I also find it so difficult when the teams are both strong or weak, and I mostly skip such matches to avoid increasing my risk of betting on them. This now takes me to the odds as the odds are so important to our success in football betting, and the person always betting with nonsense odds that are lower than 2.0 is mostly wasting his time. I avoid any odd that is lesser than 1.8 to avoid giving away my money cheaply in case I lose the bet.
1247  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: March 08, 2024, 09:44:50 AM
Do they target nerds or total dumbs?

they target anyone who is even slightly interested in gambling maybe all these crypto gambling sites have made their research but for us it’s hard to identify because we just see them everywhere

they post it everywhere like social media apps and even here offering benefits to attract clients i think reaching the maximum audience is the goal
A normal way of gambling sites to attract players and yes there are no goal but to gain more audience and of course more depositors and players.
and social media is the place where they are gathering many possible accounts and of course Bitcointalk.org lol.
and the team has their own researcher that focus completely in finding one.
I don't think a day will pass that I browse an informal site where I do not see numerous adverts for casinos, they are just all over the place. This can only be for a reason, they are targeting their audience since it is online, and indeed, this works as millions of people are surfing such websites where the banners of the casinos are being displayed. The same thing goes for the social media platforms and handles as well. Any casinos that can combine these services together and also engage in the use of SEO on big companies like Google and others will surely get the results for their money as such good marketing services cannot be done without huge money involvement which buttresses the popular saying that "the more your money the more you get the result."

Many influencers are dedicated to their services, and I mean those who are posting one or more videos daily. These guys may not get so much since they have other companies they influence and don't always charge more intentionally, but still, it requires money and the results are always good. However, you will see some direct adverts on big platforms like Google, Twitter, Quora, Facebook, Instagram and many more, such can't be cheap at all, and we should be talking about hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars yearly.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rate AltCoin value between 2021 past bull run and this 2024 halving season on: March 08, 2024, 09:30:46 AM
I don't know about AltCoins as at 2021 when bitcoin bull run based on an Ath of  $6,900 at 2021 and if bitcoin volatility keep appreciating as it has been so amazing in increments as it has been accelerating in couple of days now especially today,  then only this halving season alone would surpass the past 2021 bull run.
So due to my interests now in AltCoins, I needed to know if the AltCoins ATH Is also surpassing it's past Ath in this halving season.
I can only advise you to choose the right ones and also use the higher time frame of their charts to know when they would start reversing for you to liquidate them to avoid losses. So, perish the belief that they will hit their ATH again so that it will not blind your decision. Of course, some altcoins would do that, but certainly, most of them would not, and I think that less than 3% of them would possibly hit their ATH again.
That means there are AltCoins depreciating instead of appreciating because it is certain that any AltCoin that has been unable to overtake it's past values on a final round just like the bull run Ath is definitely is either still or back forwarding and it would get me wondering why Investors would still invest in such AltCoins.
Thank you @EarnOnVictor for your contribution.
You are welcome!

But note, since a certain altcoin didn't hit back its ATH doesn't mean it is entirely useless, no, it is you that will plan your way around them. If you are conversant with the way the cryptocurrency market works, you would realise that it works in cycles, where there will be bullish and bearish seasons. It now depends on how smart you are in buying at a low price. I mean the bottom level similarly to the level they started buying again in late 2022. You may look for a monthly chart support level to guide you for a reversal or wait until such a chart confirms a bullish trend. That is where you buy your coin/token and keep it until the next bearish season starts.

On detecting the bearish season as well, you should not think twice but liquidate your altcoin immediately. You then continue the cycle over and over again, and before you know it, you will have made multiples income than those who even started buying Bitcoin at a low price. All it requires is your patience, commitment to it and the brightening of your speculative skills.
1249  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it possible Cash out Crypto without KYC? on: March 08, 2024, 09:10:06 AM
Remember that bank transfers are reversible but Bitcoin transactions aren't. But it won't anymore be on the platform when the buyer requests from his/her bank that the transaction be reversed. That's why you also need to be very careful in choosing who you deal with.
This one scares the hell out of me. I never thought of this ever since I engaged in P2P transactions. Wait a minute, can banks still be so careless in this present age to be reversing transactions anyhow unless they trust the integrity of the customer 100%?

I guess this can't happen in my country. Banks and financial institutions are now more clever not to honour such transactions without proper investigation, and if they must investigate, they must first contact the beneficiary bank, and from there, the transaction would be revealed by the beneficiary customer. Bank and Fintechs in my country are now warning when you want to send money that the transaction can't be reversed.

Technically, this has a meaning and no system will be so irreversible, but such is invariably serving as a warning and means that the reversal can't be automatically commanded without a review. This is even if you guys are using the same banks.

Bank reversals are more common, now more than ever, with online banking, credit and debit cards, online shopping, phishing scams through email and SMS and whatnot, other scams, double entry, and so on. It's going to be on a case-to-case basis. Some will be reversed, some not. Some easily reversed, some require you to submit documents and screenshots and other proofs. Banks have dispute officers and analysts for these requests. They're strict, of course, but it doesn't mean they're making the right decisions all the time.
What I know is that banks with millions of customers would be treating cases daily and the cases of the reversal can't be out of it and I know they can't be so careless at the same time judging by what is happening these days. If we take it backwards a bit, the reversal of transactions gained so much relevance when the fintech and these online financial services and payment gateways were newly started. But at a point, they suddenly started irreversible transactions, I believe they must have noticed the evil in it.

The same thing is applicable to the banks as well, they would have been privy to some cases where the claims of the customer were not true but were for fraudulent reasons. For this, I so much believe that it is lame for any bank to even dare that reversal without a thorough investigation of what transpired between the two parties. And until the other party gives a go-ahead for the reversal, they should not, otherwise, such banks could be sued if the money is huge and it becomes more problem for them. This is why these days, they thread carefully to avoid favouring a perpetrator. In addition, it is good to know the kind of financial institution we are dealing with.
1250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Patterns to the halving Changed | New investors fate? on: March 08, 2024, 08:54:30 AM
My question is: what's the fate of late investors?
To be honest, the fate of new investors, especially those who missed out on thinking that the myths of the cycle which I always warn about would forever repeat itself. The only cycle in season which I recognise in Bitcoin is the bearish and the bullish seasons, and this doesn't necessarily have to follow the history exactly as it was. Now, I believe Bitcoin is still promising to move forward but the late investors should be so careful since we do not certainly know what it will do. And if Bitcoin would rise at all, it may not surpass $130,000 until the next bearish season. This means that they can only make barely x2 of their investment this bullish season.

Quote
Does this new price or trend that seems to evade the usual of a bullish trend after the halving affect anything significantly?
That is my grave concern now. Bitcoin has done what it has not done since it was created, so anything absurd could happen. This calls for caution by everyone, still, according to the market principle, a breach of the all-time high and also a close above it, especially the monthly chart close above the level could mean further bullish movements. So, let's wait and see as we let our chart guide us on the next steps to take and not be a blind follower like most people.

Quote
What are we to expect in this market after now?
At this point, I would advise you to remain neutral but expect further bullish impacts since the long-term trend of Bitcoin is bullish. Nonetheless, you should get ready for some other huge bearish corrections, anything can happen. Above all, as I advised above, be more speculative rather than accepting any condition as it comes.
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing at gambling on: March 07, 2024, 03:30:48 PM
When everything's going well, it's cool. But sometimes (often?) money problems lead to divorce. Suppose your spouse/husband gambles a lot, his or her loss/profit ratio is acceptable (so it's fine), but then one day he or she has bet it all and lost it all. You've got nothing left (and no savings either). What's your reaction? Has this ever happened to you?
This has never happened to me, it is bad and everyone should avoid it. Gambling should not be by force, we should weigh our risks and not allow it to affect us or anyone that is depending on us. It is not always about gambling when people are saying bad things about it but the people who are gambling. Gambling itself is a neutral avenue for betting activities, it should not be blamed when we do bad things in it. Imagine this character you narrated, the guy is clearly a bad actor towards gambling. For the irresponsibility, there is no way it will not negatively cause issues for himself and his dependent(s).

I wonder how a woman can be living with a man of this kind of character, even if the woman is good, it will get to a point where she would get tired and no one can blame her because she is a human being. It takes two to tangle but if the other party is not cooperating in the union, it becomes a headache that anyone would want to get off them or avoid as the woman cannot be the one taking the whole responsibility all the time. What if the man is even the breadwinner of the family or even the sole provider? That makes matters worse. To avoid issues like this, we should always be calculative towards gambling and above all be responsible and ensure that we are not addicted to it. Being disciplined is a good way forward here and we should ensure that proper budget and management are involved in our gambling activities.
1252  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: March 07, 2024, 02:39:37 PM
I went to a betting shop around my locality then I bet with $10 and lose all of them so I was holding  up to $1 separately for transporting my self back to my residence, but funny how I staked with my transport money and won.
Although, I had more money on  my account that I can use for transporting my self back to my house if incase I lost the physical cash, that was why I wasn't afraid to stake with it.

You took a very big risk there by gambling with the last money you had on you which you budgeted for transportation because had it been you lost it then you would have exceeded your gambling limit that's if you set out an amount for your gambling so you're just lucky to have won on your last trial but it is never ideal to take such a risk of gambling with a money set out to take you home should incase you lose some money while playing gamble.
We are celebrating the OP now for his good luck but what if the guy lost the money? Lol...he will know the beauty of trekking home. Wink After all, it is a part of good exercise, so there are no hurt feelings here. Smiley

Well, to be honest, gambling should be pursued wisely and not otherwise, we should know our risks and plan well regarding it. Gambling to the point that you did not only waste all the money with you but still resort to gambling with your transport fair is not a wise one, and I do not encourage the OP to do it again. This is how the irresponsibility in gambling starts before it grows into addiction and addiction will now become more of a problem for the gambler. It must be avoided from the beginning, and there is nothing as good as for gamblers to have good plans about it even before they visit the gambling house or open the gambling platform. They should know the right time to gamble, the duration, the budget and the plans. If you consider these factors, you would realise that the OP is guilty of most of them which makes his winning luck not to be enviable by me.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best way to go about making a crypto casino. on: March 07, 2024, 01:43:28 PM
I am one of the users here who are blunt with casinos' reviews, and if I must advise you and be sincere about it as well, do not start a casino if you are not ready. By being ready, I mean mainly financially ready, so that you will not start what you can't finish or establish a casino that will be poorly created. You need your feasibility studies, you need to know the class of casino you want and the hands that would get it done for you. Those who you are refusing their services are still the best ones to consult for advice and guidance and not some kind of random people who are not even tech-savvy not to mention of working in the industry.

Those people, and also those established casinos are the ones that can give advice, especially on the budget to work with and can direct you to the best experts in the industry, and perhaps tell you what works for them and how they get the marketing done as so no. I have seen some works that are poorly done and even marketed here without success and without a single complaint about being defrauded. But maybe it just pisses people off, I don't know, which is why I issue my candid advice to you now. So, if the money is the problem, you can wait to make more money to ensure that you do it at best.

Good luck to you!
1254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this ever happened to you as a gambler? on: March 07, 2024, 01:21:37 PM
I think this is both. You need to be careful yourself only while gambling. Be it physical or virtual gambling, you need to always set a budget or balance for the gambling. Don’t gamble beyond this limit. Moreover gambling is all about game of luck, hence it’s alright to make losses. To be honest, I have always kept this thing in my mind while gambling, hence I have never landed in such a situation.
We should apply wise decision in any condition we find ourselves. I know it's never easy to make the right choice every single time. Gambling is not easy task to anticipated, I've come across gamblers that have lost themselves in the space due to gambling and making gigantic losses. There's this fact about gambler, when they're losing, they fumble and lose confidence while the ones winning always proves to be formidable and buoyant in the system, they're not holding any doubt because they're keen on printing money from the system.
Wisdom is no doubt needed in gambling and we should be disciplined and smart with it, if not, we may be wise but the emotion might make us set it aside and act based on the current situation that is caused by our emotions. Good determination is also needed in gambling, and I said this because many would know what to do, but when it comes to the time to do it, they would be doing another thing. This is bad and only emotion can cause it, but determination changes the narrative. This is why I can always advise that the gambler should first know what he is doing. To know this, you learn and discover/develop a gambling style. Then you proceed to have good management which entails the budget and others, and from there, you get to train yourself about the psychological aspect of gambling.

This aspect and that of management are the issues here, and when they are carefully solved, everything will be fine. But note, before any gambler walks into the physical casinos or bets online, they must have had a purpose, know the time to spend, the money to spend in that session and the calculation of how the money would be spent. If any gambler can do that and is truthful to the implementation thereof, what the OP says and even what you replied to, including your post's concern would be avoided.

I always say that gambling is not bad on its own, it is the approach many of us are playing it with that makes it bad and makes most people tag it as irresponsible.
1255  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don’t play gambling with drugs or in half sleep on: March 07, 2024, 12:35:19 PM

Yeah, it's more like playing video games, where we don't have to wager anymore, unless a friend is close by who bets money on behalf of the game, then playing demo can't be considered gambling. However, most often, gamblers who are tired of losing money or are drunk can be playing the demo mode to keep their brain busy. I think that mode was made for the drunk guys, not to waste money while not on their right sense of mind. Hence, recommending that they use the demo, is great.

However, when a player is on substance, he may not be controlled to do anything, except what he actually wants to do. Doing away with that thought of gambling on alcohol will help a player to gamble safely. Imagine people who find it difficult to gamble on their right sense, and get into problem gambling, even without alcohol, what then would be the problem of the gambler who take alcohol for gambling purposes? A huge trouble, that has to deal with curing his drive for alcohol separately, then gambling addiction.
The main problem is impaired decision-making, not gambling mode. Deep-rooted issues demand more than a workaround

Self-awareness and control matter. Alcohol fuels irresponsible gambling. They are fighting an addiction battle in addition to their gambling problem. Responsible gambling education and resources should be prioritised. Set limits, know when to step back, and comprehend the implications of their actions. Mental health and financial security are at risk

However gambling is an activity that can stimulate the nerves in the brain to always want "more", meaning that it is very careless if someone decides to consume drugs or other drugs that can eliminate consciousness, because obviously the effect is as you said that it will greatly interfere with any decision making because consciousness is in trouble. This situation has great potential to trigger many new and bigger problems such as losing amounts that they didn't intend to allocate for gambling, and that's the effect of taking something that can lose consciousness, in the sense that you do it without a reasonable and rational mindset.

Honestly, I don't know what the reason is for them to consume drugs, alcohol or anything else that can lower their level of consciousness. I don't understand, because what should be done is the opposite, which is to avoid consuming things like that that can reduce consciousness because gambling is always about how good and how good you are at making decisions to avoid unwanted possibilities.

Gambling affects the thoughts of a gambler in multiple ways, taking other substances that controls the brain against our will isn't right. Psychologist in their work, mentioned that gambling contains same effect as drugs or alcohol, meaning that adding alcohol to gambling is very wrong and affects the brain a lot. That could be quite disappointing on the long run as the gambler may not stop doing it. Hence, anybody who is undergoing this trouble, could disappear from the sight of his loved ones, as he may not want to accept the reality. He'd be installing more alcohol upon his condition, to stay away from his mistakes, psychologically. Thereby, endangering his life to a more painful level, where he wouldn't make it out easily.
Gambling is just more psychological than technical and people often face challenges as gamblers even when they are not under any influences due to this psychological nature of approaching it. Now, when an influence is introduced, it gets to aggravate the issues and the results can never be good in the long run. Such gamblers may not be able to think for themselves but how the substance taken is pushing them. This is tantamount to allowing emotion to reign in our gambling.

However, these substances work in two ways. It is either they push you into doing what you want to do easily or push you against doing it. It is still your luck if you are pushed to do what you would have done without it but only without any restraint of thinking it twice this time compared to when you are not under the influence. But the second scenario is the worse one, it will just be pushing you just like emotion, and if you are emotional before, it will increase the motion so that you start gambling worse which I know the results can never be good.

Still, we may take the substance as light as alcohol when gambling, it is such that is liberal in this regard. Once we moderate it, we can never go haywire to the point that we will be misbehaving in our gambling activity. However, this advice is subject to those who can control themselves, and like me, I can, but if you know you can't, it is better to totally abstain from such a thing when you gamble or take any kind of risk.
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on side bet worth it? on: March 07, 2024, 12:12:25 PM
I’m pertaining to the side bet offered on the table games such as baccarat and blackjack that gives you a chance to win a certain multiplier by just meeting the certain requirements. I often avoid this kind of bet because it’s very rare to win on this and I’m only burning money that was supposed to be added to my profit whenever my main bet won while my sides always loss.

But recently I become lucky on side bet since I win x100 multiple time and x50 with 1$ profit. I realize that sometimes this side bet is the one that can give us the bigger profit once we get lucky compared when betting in fix amount while the result is just breakeven.
Well, your conclusion is good but also shows what you were feeling at that time, and not the right sense of what the two games are all about which makes it complicated. The games that you would hardly be winning from are not worth it in my opinion. There is no way you can have a balanced book when it comes to the proper management of the gambling account this way which I always consider a priority unlike most gamblers.

One can be happy when luck comes, and the luck can easily come to some people, but to some, the luck may never come in a year or two, if not more, so it is not worth it to me since it has a lower chance of success. Imagine playing such games for a year without a single winning, even if you are risking just $1 to wager it, do you know the amount of money you would have wasted on something that may not even happen in your favour in more than a year?

It's better we are reasonable about gambling, we need to often weigh our risks and the possibility of winnings to ascertain the right decisions that will not be a regret for us.
1257  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dont chase your loss on: March 07, 2024, 11:08:57 AM
It is best you gamble when necessary not because you want to chase your loss and win back you money, many are victim of this circumstances and for me is a bad practice and this might make you not to employe your gambling skills and roles because you inhast in your decision making. What is your opinion on this?
This is a piece of good advice and it is common here unless the person is not frequent to this section of the forum. It is better to keep the cool, or else, one will regret it. What you just narrated is being orchestrated by our emotions, which would force us to gamble when we are supposed not to gamble, and the result is always regrets. Gambling should be done carefully, cautiously, politely, responsibly and managerially, but if the gambler realises that he is doing otherwise, then he needs to change his ways. It will be best if we are gambling with the mindset that is neutral and we are in total control of ourselves and the decisions we are making at that time. That is when what we know about gambling, our budget and plans can be effectively added to keep the quality of our gambling intact and also properly manage our portfolio.

Peradventure a gambler is out of balance and knows within himself that he is doing what he was not supposed to do, I think it is time for the gambler to call it quits on that day. It is better to take a break for a fresh breath so that emotion would not cause you to do what you did not plan and later regret it. As simple as this advice is, it has helped a lot of people to achieve great results in their betting, and even if they do not win much, it would help them to limit their losses even as it is helpful to their psychology and their gambling account.
1258  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to self exclude from anonymous gambling sites on: March 07, 2024, 10:51:46 AM
Even if they learn staking and do it to keep them 21 days away from gambling  but how sure we are that they will not look for another funds to gambling and deposit ?  because there are some gamblers that wanted to keep their funds safer from gambling but cannot prevent themselves to gamble and keeps looking for chance and money to bet.

OP clearly created the topic to promote his YouTube channel, and not to provide real advice to gaming addicts. If we consider the problem like other addictions - drug addiction, alcoholism, then nothing prevents the addicted player from “pawning” his crypto wallet (seed phrase) to any interested person/pawnshop. There is only one way out: no money - no problems.

These same taught have I on the purpose of the post because I am not fully convince is for gambling in crypto.
What can give me hope on this if all this thing have evidence or proof.
Please if you can throw more light on the source and proof is better.

If it is a topic to promote or whatever, things with addictions require being careful because it is very hard to be looking for things and fall into addiction, and that can cause many problems for the person who suffers from it, and also for others. those who are around that person, because everyone suffers, or it is something that I recommend because basically everyone there has to help, suffering things is not easy.

If someone excludes themselves, the result should be the best for that person because they are being exposed to the most terrible things there are. If we look at it, all we have to do is try to control our emotions and not let ourselves be carried away. , that is what leads to addictions, in lsop casino it is very easy for us to get filled with multiple emotions and that is enough to make us lose or win, but normally the emotions make us lose because we can get greedy And that's not good.

Whatever reason this thread has been created, we need to make good use of it and we don't have to take things too seriously.
There are many ways we can preview things that it would help us to take safe from being addicted to any form of gambling.
It is important we do things in a way that would help us to stay connected and make money so that we don't finally see ourselves in the wrong cycle of people that would influence our badly in a way that could be detrimental to us.
This advice is just off, you mean whatever reason the thread is being created whether good, bad or ugly, we should make use of it. Did you even read the OP at all? I doubt it, because if you read the OP, you should actually know that there are loopholes in this advice which will surely not make it worth it eventually. Have you also thought of the risk of locking your money in a certain system for more than 21 days? What if anything happens within that time? This is senseless for just a peanut. Needless to say, the approach is not even strong enough to stop gamblers from the addiction.

Fine, it might help you to keep the money and not spend it on gambling at that time, but what if you get another money afterwards, won't you gamble? This means the problem has not been solved. Gambling addiction is a psychological thing that requires a psychological solution and not a kind of punishment like this that after the time lapses anything can still happen. This is just a way to keep your money away, why not do that with some saving plans with companies in your country that could hold the money for a year or more as you pump more money into it to invest instead of doing a thing like the OP suggested with the company you do not know?

This style will surely encourage saving within a specific period of time, but after that, what next? Some gamblers would be patiently waiting to afterwards gamble with the money and the return gained therein since the psychology of the addiction has not been healed by the approach. It is not until it is healed that the problem becomes solved.
1259  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: March 07, 2024, 10:37:23 AM
I like review sites that actually show the positives and negatives to each site. Most review sites are just ref sites.
well this is the same reason why only few of us  tries to listen to review sites nowadays
because we knew for a fact that they are just a referral or a paid shill, they are the literal advertiser
of each sites that can pay their talent fees.
so why need to support each of them when so very few that they realy give honest reviews
or sometimes unless they are attacking one that they will out negative reviews on them.
Good response, I wonder why people are so shallow-minded, we should be up and doing in our smartness, or else, we will be cheated if not scammed. Because a reviewer has now said a good thing about a casino I will now be foolishly believing such and signing up an account with them? I am not that foolish. These days, what you see is not actually what they are and what they tag the "Best" online is certainly not the best, and probably could be the worst. They are just being tagged as the best because of marketing deceit, and the high traffic generated makes them be at the top of the search if it is the search engine that showed it.

It is all about the good technology the company has, how good its dedicated SEO marketers are and how effective their influencers are, so we should always be careful. That is why I love to read the reviews of true people, that is the only way you can read the true users' experience. Through that, you will read the good, neutral and bitter parts of casinos and not the private reviewers and influencers that are already paid. They would often write the best things about the company and lure more people into being cheated even as they've already collected their own share of the money.
1260  Economy / Gambling / Re: An open letter to Eddie from Stake with lots of shares on Reddit on: March 07, 2024, 09:58:09 AM
I may likely deviate also from the open water is where the writer mentioned gambling as a tool for terrorism, this is quite confusing a bit for me

The writer was using a sort of a metaphor.
Terrorists kill people and destroy things.
He was implying Eddie supposedly is killing an entire generation by getting them addicted.
Hope it makes sense now.

I was curious to know the content of the post when I found out that it had been deleted for a reason best known to the writer, but upon since this post of yours, I think I am able to know the gist there.

Well, it is not today that people are talking about gambling or calling out a well-known name in the industry. It could be either good or bad side of it, but one thing that is important here is that no one was forced to gamble, and that is why the government and the law of every land ensure that you are an adult before you gamble so that you are not making decisions as a child. We've seen cases of a teenager ascended the throne of his forefathers and ruled rightly from then till he grew old. This means that it is all about wisdom and choices and once you have it rightly as an adult, you will be able to choose smartly and wisely.

In gambling, you can either win or lose, and don't forget that someone pays for your winnings from their pocket, so why won't you pay for your losses from your pocket? It is such a system that is fairly planned especially if you are gambling with a fair casino. This is why you must first locate such fairness first, and if they fairly treat you but you merely lose due to your poor decision and portfolio handling, then it is your own "cup of tee" and not the other party's issue that is fair to you and even willing to give you your winning if you won.

And for the addiction, is it the casinos that made them addicted or their foolishness and their inability to be disciplined and ensure self-control? I think those who are abusing casinos or calling out big names are just insincere. Casinos have been for so long and will continue to be, and so far they do not force you to gamble, it is your headache to gamble. Instead of them to blend their greed and frustration, they continue blaming casinos, which is awkward in my opinion.
