1241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on TRON's impact on the payment landscape? on: November 03, 2023, 08:05:30 AM
@coinremitter you are spamming your own thread. You could have quoted everyone with one reply rather quoting and creating multiple reply.

Coming back to Tron is one of the best Blockchain in terms of speed and fee. You only have to pay 1TRX as fee for transferring $1000 worth of Tron. Since the price of Tron is so low it makes it the cheapest transaction free regardless of any cryptocurrency in the market. Only one reason why it won't be accepted as an international payment processor is because it originated from China.

Happened in 2015, then 2019. Indians were looking in red hot form in the group matches and then came knockouts with 30 minutes of bad cricket. It would be heartbreaking if history repeats itself. This Indian side deserves the ICC trophy because they already missed 2 WTC trophies despite making it into the finals.

This time the Indian team is very different, they are enjoying the game and not playing for the sake of winning the match. Everyone is contributing, this team is not dependent on a few players. Even in bowling where India was once weak and dependent on Bhumrah they now have 3 star bowlers and of course 2 spinners. Even Bhumrah & Shami can bat when the team needs them. Every batter is batting like they never had batted before. The top 3 batters are in splendid form and two them are listed on the top 5 run getters in the World Cup. The morale of the Indian team is very high and they are taking every single match seriously.

I was thinking yesterday that India might rest a few players and try those on the bench. But, I was wrong they didn't even bother to experiment yesterday. The next match will be against South Africa. It would a big game for the Indian bowlers as the top 4 batters of the South African side are in good form. How well Indian bowlers can perform against the powerful batting will be facinating to see.
1243  Local / India / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $150K in the next Bull Run? on: November 03, 2023, 05:10:55 AM
I have my doubts about a price as big as 120-150k USD. But I dont mind seeing such huge prices because that would mean more profits from my long term orders. Even then I prefer keeping an approach to 40k USD first before 50K and eventually crossing the previous all time high.

With the ETFs we might see such prices happen. But the question is for long the prices will be able to maintain such highs. Because you need to consolidate each support level before moving to the upper on. Sudden rise means a sudden fall too.

I was able to compile the dates and the price point when Bitcoin reached its ATH

- November 2013 - $1,242.00 - reason media coverage of Bitcoin.

- December 2017 - $19,783.06 - reason crypto bubble.

- April 2021 - $64,804.72 - reason institutionalized investors

- November 2021 - $68,990.90 - Current ATH

The big gap happened between 2017 and 2021, as we progress near halving which is next year I feel we might see another big jump in 2025. The reason this time would be ETF and a lot of Investment coming from big financial institutions.  That is why I feel the price of 100k for Bitcoin would be easy to reach.

Srilanka, oh my brother's from the Indian subcontinent you are getting demolished by the Indian bowlers. What the heck you guys thought. I wanted to watch a game going till the end of the match but unfortunately it is over for Srilanka. This game is over.
1245  Local / India / Re: ICC World Cup 2023 - India discussion on: November 02, 2023, 11:57:21 AM
Team India backing up Iyer too much even though it is good for the team environment, still it is kind of discouraging to the talents who are waiting for their opportunities even after having records in their few appearances.

Gill and Kohli made good partnership but two of them fell short of their centuries, I was waiting for 49th ton today which came too close but again soft dismissal. Even after two wickets, India is maintaining the good phase, and it looks like we can reach 360 or more.

250/3 at 39th over. 50 partnership between Iyer and KL Rahul.

An interesting competition was happening when both SKY and Iyer were batting together. We all know they both and Ishan Kishan are competing to get into the 4th position and for now, Iyer is winning as SKY got out while trying a pull shot. That is why a batter like SKY needs to understand the difference between a T20 format and an ODI format. Playing careless shots does work in T20, but not in ODI or Test cricket. While batting in the T20 format a batter's objective is to score as many runs as they can in 20 overs whereas in a 50-over match, you would need to have patience and the ability to find an odd ball to hit a boundary.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC Charges Crypto Company SafeMoon and its Executive Team for Fraud on: November 02, 2023, 11:46:47 AM
Some people are so obsessed with shitcoin that they forget that it does not matter what happens to them. What benefit is this coin coming up with, it is a project that was meant to make the owners rich and not those who have invested in that project. What the SEC did was right and those who have invested heavily would understand now the consequence of investing coins that do not make any difference. These are the coins that have given a bad name to good projects like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others. I am not in favor of such coins as they are the reason why non-crypto investors question genuine projects.

Getting bored with this match now. It is completely one sided. Most surprising thing is that despite being a weekday, 27 million people are viewing this match right now in Disney-Hotstar. The peak viewership for the India vs Pakistan clash (on a weekend) was equal to this figure. So many people decided to skip their office/college, to watch this match? Or are they watching it while being in office/college? Anyway, Hotstar guys are not going to complain. They have almost finalized a deal with Reliance to sell their Indian business. This will add some more bargaining power to their side.

Almost every other match in the World Cup has been one-sided, nothing new with this one. I felt sorry for Shubhman Gill after being out due to dengue, today was the day he could have boosted his morale if he had scored a century. Kohli, I believe has been jinxed as he is unable to get his 49th century as every time he gets near it he gets out. Shreyas Iyer trying everything to keep himself part of the squad as if he does not deliver today he might be rested for the rest of the tournament after Hardik is back.

Srilanka started well with Rohit Sharma out in the early overs, then they dropped two important catches and now this match is slowly going out of their hands. Indian bowlers would be able to get their batters out without much effort as the Indian bowling attack has been outstanding in the World Cup. Mohammad Shami has been in great form, he has become a threat to batters since he started bowling again for India.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE TOP 5 CRYPTO NARRATIVES on: November 02, 2023, 10:24:48 AM
Certainly, these narratives in the crypto markets are interesting, particularly tokenization of Real World Assets (RWA), this could be potentially the theme of next bull run. It reflect the ongoing innovation and development in crypto space. However, I think the most prominent narrative which keeps attracting substantial attention in social media is the significant interest of major financial institution like BlackRock in pursuing regulatory approval seek approval for the issuance of Bitcoin ETF for spot markets of crypto currencies.

Tokenization of the Real World Assets have only ventured into the NFT space. I feel it is slowly becoming saturated and I feel the upward trend that it had is now slowly dieing down. There next would be financial institution venturing into the cryptocurrency market through spot ETF of Bitcoin. Other cryptocurrency like Ethereum after Bitcoin would be in their mind. The next bull run would be because of ETFs and Bitcoin halving.

Congratulations OP on ranking up! I can relate to your happiness as I was in that same position when I ranked up to Member and then Full Member. Keep on doing what you have been doing and in a couple of months you will become a Full Member and you can again celebrate your accomplishment. For now,  you should move this topic to the Reputation board as this board is to discuss the forum and not about personal accomplishment. I can see both Cantsay and 348Judah have already advised you about it. I am the third one on your thread informing you of the same, it won't look good if others after me advise you about the same thing.
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 02, 2023, 09:15:40 AM
Srilanka won the toss and chose to bowl first, they started well by taking the wicket of Rohit Sharma. Then two catches were dropped one for Shubhman Gill and the next one for Virat Kohli. If they had taken these two wickets then India would have been in big trouble. For now, both batters are hitting the balls for boundaries with a run rate of 5.73. With the current run rate the projected target is more than 300 runs and if the Indian batter gets those runs then the Srilnakan team would be in trouble. Both opening bowlers bowled really well but now the bowlers are bowling a lot of lose balls, not looking great for Srilanka now.
1251  Local / India / Re: ICC World Cup 2023 - India discussion on: November 02, 2023, 08:03:33 AM

Only two are still playing out of the 10 names mentioned on the list. It is irony that none of the teams playing in this year's World Cup have players that are capable like Rohit and Virat. I hope to see new names coming  up in the next World Cup. Some new Indian names might get added to that list.

The Playing 11 remain the same

As expected no changes made by the Indian team management. They don't want to rest senior players or give opportunities to those who are warming the seats. I was expecting Ishan and Ashwin to be part of the squad.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC WORLD CUP 2023 DISCUSSION THREAD! on: November 02, 2023, 07:55:13 AM
Sri Lanka is not doing well this season. They have lost 4 out of 6 matches so naturally there won't be much support for them. But if Sri Lanka can shine then any equation will not be a big hindrance for them. We all agree that the best team in this season is India who still undefeated. So against them Sri Lanka will be able to show something different which is hard for many to believe. Anything can happen in cricket but as India still unbeaten in this session they will definitely try to maintain their streak. But I hope to see a competitive match.

I don't understand what happened to teams like Srilanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh. All of them are from the Indian subcontinent and three have shown poor performance in the World Cup. There was a time when Srilanka had players like Jayasuriya, Vass and others who could have single handedly taken the opposition team by suprise. Srilanka and other teams are going through a very bad phase in International cricket. The cricket boards of the respective countries should work on to find talents that can help them in regaining thier names.

358 is the target to chase for the New Zealand team. Considering their past chasing in this tournament, I don't think it would be that easy for the batters. The South African bowling attack is pretty good as of now I don't think it will be easy for them to chase those runs. If New Zealand cannot win today then they will be seriously in trouble for getting a spot in the semifinals.

The Pune pitch has always been good for batters. Considering how the South African team struggled but late on got near to 400 runs. I feel this match would be good for the New Zealand's batter. If they lose quick wickets early in the match then it won't be possible for them to win today.
1254  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Withdraw to Australian Bank account on: November 01, 2023, 11:44:24 AM
Finding an exchange can be hard and most exchanges require you to pass KYC. That does not mean their non-KYC exchanges do not exist. First find a non-KYC P2P exchange, you can go through the list here: https://kycnot.me. Try the Agora desk or local Monero, and check whether the crypto you have in your Atomic wallet is being traded in the P2P market. If yes then transfer your crypto from Atomic wallet to the exchange you prefer and then use P2P service to convert them to AUD and transfer them to your ANZ bank account.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mempool almost empty? on: November 01, 2023, 10:57:42 AM

I doubt that we will experience heavy volume of transactions during bullrun since no one is selling that time but rather retail is buying more Bitcoin and hold. The only way the network will be flooded again if there is some kind of shit happened on BRC20 that cause to fluctuations of dust transactions but regular transactions from regular holder will never flood that much the mempool.

Fees might increase but because Bitcoin fiat value is increasing and not due to the increase volume. Since sending Bitcoin on exchange is a one time transaction and doesn’t need multiple transactions that will cause huge volume of tx.

BRC20 is one of the biggest issue with transaction fees sometime hitting 20 Satoshi in past two days. The fluctuations is fee is very high due to these morons. Miners do give priority to high fee transaction which is understandable. It is not that easy to predict what will happen when the next Bull run starts but it is incorrect to say that only the USD value of transaction fee increase. The amount of Satoshi you spend per transaction does increase when their is congestion.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin by 9gag on Binance on: November 01, 2023, 10:47:06 AM
Actually it's hard to believe that a meme coin will be listed in some reputed exchanges. So, I stopped buying these meme tokens/coins a long time ago. If I get something for free, I still get confused that should I add another smart contract address or shouldn't I? Because I don't know if this is another scam token.

This is not the first time that they have listed a meme coin. There are Doge, Shiba, Pepe and others that are being traded on Binance. This is the first time they are using their launchpad to release a meme coin. I don't  see any harm in doing it as their are a lot of people investing in meme coins. Most projects that have been launched using the Binance launchpad have been a disaster. I expect the same outcome for 9gag.
1257  Local / India / Re: ICC World Cup 2023 - India discussion on: November 01, 2023, 10:27:20 AM
Semifinals Qualification Scenario

The top 4 teams according to current point tables are India, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. How many wins do each of them need to confirm their semifinal spot.

  • India needs only 1 win out of their 3 matches.
  • South Africa need two wins to guarantee their spot out of three matches.
  • New Zealand need to win all the three matches to confirm their spot.
  • Australia too has to win all the three matches to confirm their spot. If they lose any game then they will have to rely on other results and NRR.

I can confirm that India will be able to secure their spot in the next game, which is against Srilanka. Which three will be the next to confirm their spot? Any guesses?
1258  Local / India / Re: India or Bharat on: November 01, 2023, 09:04:36 AM
A bit late in posting this news. I would like to ask everyone here, what do you guys think about it?

I personally want both names, that is Indian & Bharat to be in the school book. It is not right to wipe out the name India and only promote Bharat. I don't  agree with this decision of panel and the government.

That is one big stupid recommendation by the panel under the influence of BJP. What are they trying to achieve before the election. Changing the name from India to Bharat doesn't solve any issue. Making changes in the curriculum to suits the global demand of skill worker should be the primary objective. They are still debating whether to use India or Bharat. How much free time these guys in NCERT have for such discussion?
1259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC WORLD CUP 2023 DISCUSSION THREAD! on: November 01, 2023, 08:42:23 AM
Intresting! New Zealand belives that they will be able to chase the he target. They did the same with Australia but lost by 5 runs. If South Africa gets a good start today they would try to surpass 400 runs. Then it will not be easy for the New Zealand team to chase that big score.

The bowlers would have to get a couple of wickets within the first power play. That will restrict the South African team to not go after something big as a target. Still the Pune pitch is batter friendly it won't be that easy to get wickets unless the batter gives his wicket away.
1260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC WORLD CUP 2023 DISCUSSION THREAD! on: October 31, 2023, 12:23:26 PM
As expected Bangladesh batting collapsed infront of Pakistani bowling attack. I still expected them to give a respectable target of 220 runs to the Pakistani batter, unfortunately they got all out before they could have even played their full 50 overs. It would be an easy task for Pakistani batters to chase 205 runs. Unless they do something different as and lose this match. If Pakistan wins today there is still some hope for them get into the semifinals. For Bangladesh it's the end of their World Cup journey.
