1241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos by categories on: October 06, 2022, 11:27:56 PM
On-Chain:
This was a betting engine where users place bets by sending bitcoin or other coins to the betting address, this kind of casinos didn't need users or accounts to let people gamble:

*Your bet was placed with a transaction.
*The profit was received on the betting address.
*Users had to wait for 1 confirmation to avoid double spends.

Can we consider Directbet as an on-chain crypto casino? For those who are not aware, Directbet was once a popular bookie here because of its no-account registration feature and winnings will be received right away at user's betting address automatically,

You are right that casinos like that are no longer exist and I doubt if a new one started, it's hard to trust those nowadays aside from the fact that crypto gambling sites are now turning slowly into regulated bookies.
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It An Easy Transition From Gamer To Gambler In Casino. on: October 06, 2022, 11:24:32 PM
I always consider gaming as gambling I have seen many gamblers spend a lot of money for their character and to level up their account for future profit, like selling their stuff and their character.

If you're a gamer or someone is a gamer and would like to try to gamble in online casinos will it become an easy transition as all the elements of gambling are present when you're a gamer, or does a gamer have to start all over again, and have a different motivation and mindset?

I'm a heavy gamer and also a gambler at the same time. I don't think that "transition " is the right word since gaming and gambling have a different environments even at the bottom line, we are spending money on those.

You don't need to have any movitation to do gambling coming from being a gamer. It depends on our interest.

Don't make that too technical.
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 03, 2022, 11:59:48 PM
The team has a wide pool of players but whoever is picking the roster should pick what suits each other and what the team needs, not just all about double dribble.  Cheesy

If only there will be a time, as in long time, that our pools can practice together, that would be nice.

There are playing in PBA, there are playing in foreign leagues, there are playing anywhere, that's one of the big reasons why even we have a great pool talents, still not enough to formed a 100% chemistry.

Imagine, with a short timeframe, we can see already a 60-70% chemistry on our players, what's more if their practice together is really long, we might even see an over 100% perfect chemistry.

Although in reality that will not really happened as every players have different activities
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, tourism and legal gambling age for gamblers around the world. on: October 03, 2022, 11:59:42 PM
I think even though we shared here the information about gambling with those who will travel, that will not be a big help.

Personally, for me, I don't want to risk gambling in another country as a "tourist" there.

Basic knowledge is not enough for me to push doing gambling in other countries. It won't notice if there's something wrong I did.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this statiscally possible in a lottery? on: October 03, 2022, 11:59:37 PM
They now released the place where those jackpot winners placed their bet. If we looked at those places, really adds some another doubt for me that there are places where multiple winners were established. It's really hard to imagine.

I will try to post that image later as I just encounter it while browsing my news feed.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 433 Winners to split $4,015,156.265 6/55 Grand Lotto Jackpot on: October 03, 2022, 11:59:29 PM
As everyone might have expressed above ... we are all agree that math never lies , human nature do . Sorry to say that most asians i have ever met had a very strong corrupt mentality ( no offense intended ) just my personal experience and this might caused by that.

This strory waaaay too makes no sense but a real life troll, period.

I don't know why PCSO didn't even think that there will really be a criticism once they released the 433 winners.

Even if that's really legit, it's really hard to accept it in any way. The jackpot is so huge that makes me think that they don't want that money to end up in 1 or 2 winners that's why they take advantage of it.
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Table tennis is the best sport gambling! (My strategy of winning) on: October 03, 2022, 11:59:25 PM
Odds on the casino site
Last Winning record.
Face appearance (do they look like winners bonus)

If they have a history of losses and unstable gameplay be careful with it.
If they are winner you can bet in the middle of the game big bet even on only 1.4  because you know they will pull it off.
I am in 600 USD profit today in Duelbits

I like your analysis of how you bet even if it's your first time betting on that sport.

We do really have different ways how to bet and I hope your strategy can bring you good luck in your long-term betting.

As you said you don't have that game but already risk betting on that. I hope you won't end up losing big in the process.
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 03, 2022, 11:59:17 PM
Inoue was interviewed recently by the JapanTimes and this is what he said:
Quote
“From here on, I want to give performances worthy of the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter.
“In order to do that, I need to unify the bantamweight world titles and then take on the super-bantamweight division.”
https://www.japantimes.co.jp/sports/2022/06/28/more-sports/boxing-2/inoue-pound-for-pound-bantamweight/

What a statement and I believed he is now getting close to reaching that achievement.

Naoya Inoue will now be crowned as the Undisputed Bantamweight Champion in December.

He really deserves that recognition as he worked for it hard.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woman Abandons 4-year-old Child In Gambling Shop As Collateral After Huge Losses on: October 02, 2022, 11:51:33 PM
For me, it's fortunate that the child was abandoned in a gambling shop for others to see that the child needs help.

Just imagine what kind of life this child has to bear once returns to his irresponsible parents.

The news is not complete and we don't know if the child remained in police custody or return to his mother.
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Gambling Site has a Short Signature Campaign on: October 02, 2022, 11:49:34 PM
Does this bear market affect the finances of the casino sites as well, so they have a low allocation for signature campaigns.

Is there even a specific price range matrix that campaigns should follow for us to determine if the allocation for the signature campaign is low or not?

The bear market has nothing to do with the campaign rates in most cases. If the site just stated a budget for a campaign, then that's their budget. The campaign manager will now propose their campaign structure on that budget or something along those lines.

Like there's someone who has leaked the winning combination but I don't think that's possible if the draw itself is televised and supervised.

The manipulation is not through the winning ball combinations but they can add fake winners for the prize to be split in more.

I know it's possible that a winning combination that is divisible by 9 can really happen even at 0.000000001% but there's no way to determine how many real winners really got those number combinations.

433 jackpot winners at the same time are insane. It needs an investigation.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 02, 2022, 11:41:19 PM
We can't really say that for certain, we will have to see how Inoue's body will respond with that added weight. Different body will reacted to different weight, if he can carry his strength this good, that is just one part.

I got your point but Inoue will surely adjust easily at 122lbs from 118lbs.

Although it's a new experience for him to fight in a new environment, it's not that he will struggle at first.

I also see that he can go toe-to-toe with either Stephen Fulton or Murodjon Akhmadaliev in the near future.

But if Inoue chooses to test the water first at 122 lbs, I guess that is also a good strategy and not directly go to champions.

That probably makes no sense to do if he climbs at the 122lbs from 118lbs where as you mentioned, it's easy to do some adjustments.

Can't imagine a unified bantamweight champion won't go directly against the top super bantamweight just to test the waters at 122lbs? I don't think Inoue's promoter will waste time on managing fights for him against mid-tier ranks. Surely, they will pick a big name and probably a title holder already at the super bantamweight.

But yes, as I have known you as one of the most boxing enthusiasts here, I agree with you that we need to wait first about Inoue's future plan.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: October 02, 2022, 11:34:49 PM
True, those professional will gamble secretly and will not announce to public that they are engage in gambling activities.  They will always prefer to keep their personal activities secret.  Once discovered by their colleague, they won't bother explaining because they know what they are doing is not affecting their jobs and other people.  Besides, there is no use explaining when a person already think that gambling is a bad behavior.  It will only triggers argument and may make the reputation of the professional guy uglier.

It depends on their profession that's why they need to still take care of how they will manage their gambling activities and try to keep them secret. For teachers and school professors, I doubt gambling will ruined their reputation if they are responsible at their job.

But for jobs like policemen, soldiers, and related professions, they are not allowed to be seen gambling, at least here in the country.

Another one is politicians. Since the use of public funds is highly a sensitive issue, if a politician is caught gambling, that will create a big mess and negative impression that the public might be using for their own purpose.
1254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this statiscally possible in a lottery? on: October 02, 2022, 11:30:37 PM
The first time I saw our lottery was being questioned massively by the community here and even caught the attention of one of the Senators here who want PCSO, the government branch that holds the national lottery, to give their explanation about what happened.

Can't believe PCSO released an early statement that those 433 winners really take care of that rare number of picks for long that is divisible by 9.

That's what the community here get when they want a private approach for jackpot winners not knowing it is easy to manipulate and add more winners since winners' identity can't be shown to the public due to some risks.
1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: October 01, 2022, 11:53:33 PM
Yeah a few sleep away before we see how effective is their change of nutritionist.  There is no excuse for Ancajas now like the replacement issue and the overweight issue.  Hopefully, he won't have problem in meeting the required weight and if he do then probably it is time for him to move up in division.

Just to be clear that the nutritionist should not be the key to Ancajas having a boost. It's still on him and his workout.

In the event of Ancajas losing this match again, we should not look at the reasons why Ancajas but just praised Martinez as he's really a tough fighter.

A few days from now and we will now see and witness this fight.
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 01, 2022, 11:51:38 PM
So the locals has to step up the game and not allow that 10 point deficit to stop them as they made a huge comeback and maintain their composure to took the game away from Converge. But still they have to check what's wrong with their import, yes this is a win, but in other games, they will really have to rely to their import to seal the win for them in close games.

Impressive adjustment by the locals to help with that late rally run sealed the win.

However, in terms of roster comparison, Magnolia shouldn't be supposed to be shown struggling against Converge.

If things will always end like that, they will surely have a hard time winning against top teams.

1258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Casino Licenses on: October 01, 2022, 11:47:46 PM
I think that having a gambling license isn't a guarantee that the online casino won't scam the gamblers, but it's usually better to pick a casino with a license, if you are a gambler. The license kinda gives a false sense of security and the illusion of dealing with a legit business.
If you want to create a casino, try to get a license, otherwise you might have problems with the authorities.

Yes, having a license doesn't mean that the site won't do some shit in the future but the fact that they have a license means they might be serious about their business as they spend time to comply with that.

For me, I will not risk any money at those sites that don't have a license.

That's one of the factors that a gambling site should have.
1259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: September 30, 2022, 02:36:31 PM
Don't worry about the odds, for sure odds will be available days from now. Let us not be mislead by the available odds that would appear if we search in google because it's the old odds, and it was Ancajas who are the heavy favorites, this time for sure would not be the same.

What we will see currently on fiat bookies should be the same on the crypto-bookies once it is released.

What old odds? If we refer to the first match, then it's really Ancajas is the Favorite but if I'm not mistaken on this rematch, Martinez is now the favorite.

Their first match is a dominant win by Martinez. That's the reason he will be the Favorite in this rematch.
1260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 30, 2022, 02:32:28 PM
You can ask OP to make a poll on this particular fight, for sure it will be a very close race and I'm not certain who will win although we already have an idea on the betting odds of this fight. Well, both are champions, since Spence is also very confident, then maybe betting on himself will probably give him more money.

I think most people here are looking forward to Terence Crawford winning the match because they think Spence Jr. is a coward and this fight should happen a long time now, not realizing that it's not actually Spence should they blame why this match takes too long to become official.

Although moving forward, we should not bring up the past as this fight is now closer to happening compared to before when it was just a plan.
