I use file_get_contents() call on the JSON API URL in PHP. Not sure how to extend it to support some cookies negotiation. Is this necessary? I thought the API code contains everything. This is a temporary problem caused by DDoS protection, it will be solved. Cookies may be a workaround for it. |

I too am getting "Redirection limit reached" error while accessing API from PHP. Works good from Chrome or even if getting the stats via wget. Looks like it's caused by the lack of cookies support in your program. |

When i use guiminer v2011-05-01 i get a connection error.
When i use the console/dos version to mine i dont get that error... This connection error may be referring to balance checking code, not the mining. |

Today, I got a lot of "Warning: work queue empty, miner is idle."
I am using deepbit.net. Are they having problems? or is it my end? We had a DDoS attack today and countermeasures were used that caused connection breaking in some cases. I hope this will be fixed soon and our fees are lowered to compensate for those problems. |

i have a problem with my speed reported deepbit.net. it varies from 43MH/sec to 130 MH/s but my 4850 never exceeds 83MH/sec nor goes under 80.
is it just me or is it a bigger problem? Set your averaging window to 20-30 minutes in pool's advanced settings. |

Probably also the cause why deepbit.net is not shown in bitcoinwatch.com, neither.
Using wget I can get result fine. Strange. That's very strange because it's working fine for me in Chrome. Will try to find the cause... |

I'm getting quite a few "miner is idle" warnings. Is the problem at my or at your end? PM me your login name. Is your displayed speed at account page way lower than expected or not ? |

Out of curiosity, is that guy just blowing smoke or can you really generate that much cash in a day running a pool? Some friends and I have been discussing it but weren't sure if it was worth the effort. Well, not really. I'm not the only one behind the pool, so the profit is divided. Also the high USD/BTC rate wasn't always there. I can live with this profit without having a job (heh, actually the pool support IS even more than a fulltime job), but it's not THAT big, I never had even $10k in my hands at once :) And the profit is not always positive, sometimes we have unlucky runs when PPS is draining pool's balance :) |

Not sure if this is related to anything but before the outage I never saw this, now I'm getting it about every 5 minutes on poclbm.

Not working for me. Hit the pay button, BTC is gone from deepbit account. It's been an hour, zero confirmations. Whats going on?
Something weird is going on with the Bitcoin network. It took 30 minutes for a payment to even show up on block explorer after the BTC disappeared from my deepbit account. Usually it is instantaneous. Our hashrate is lower now, that may be the reason. Usually we had a block in less than 15 minutes. |
