вылечило использование https вместо http
Включение кукисов тоже должно было помочь.
Это временная проблема.

Got this suddenly:
What was that?
As I said before, our problems are not completely solved yet. Currently we are planning to use another anti-DDoS procedures and then it should be fine.
While it's not fixed, you may experience short connection interruptions, this should not affect your mining too much.

I use file_get_contents() call on the JSON API URL in PHP. Not sure how to extend it to support some cookies negotiation. Is this necessary? I thought the API code contains everything.
This is a temporary problem caused by DDoS protection, it will be solved. Cookies may be a workaround for it.

I too am getting "Redirection limit reached" error while accessing API from PHP. Works good from Chrome or even if getting the stats via wget.
Looks like it's caused by the lack of cookies support in your program.
1245  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] _0% FEE_, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: May 30, 2011, 12:27:12 PM
When i use guiminer v2011-05-01 i get a connection error.
When i use the console/dos version to mine i dont get that error...
This connection error may be referring to balance checking code, not the mining.
1246  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: getting "Warning: work queue empty, miner is idle." on: May 30, 2011, 12:11:41 PM
Today, I got a lot of "Warning: work queue empty, miner is idle."
I am using deepbit.net. Are they having problems? or is it my end?
We had a DDoS attack today and countermeasures were used that caused connection breaking in some cases.
I hope this will be fixed soon and our fees are lowered to compensate for those problems.

What HTTP status do you see if you are redirected when trying to GET api json with curl ? Where are you redirected to ?
1248  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] _0% FEE_, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: May 30, 2011, 11:49:59 AM
When does the promo 0% fee proportional kick in? Because looking at the stats / side panel and doing the math ALLSHARES/MYSHARES*REWARD equals 48.5 btc, which seems like the standard 3%.
Sorry, it was not displayed correctly. Fixed now.

Deepbit, not letting me update new bitcoin wallet address, old address is locked in. What's going on?
E-mail confirmations are temporarily disabled today, please wait.

i have a problem with my speed reported deepbit.net. it varies from 43MH/sec to 130 MH/s but my 4850 never exceeds 83MH/sec nor goes under 80.
is it just me or is it a bigger problem?
Set your averaging window to 20-30 minutes in pool's advanced settings.
1251  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] _0% FEE_, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: May 30, 2011, 06:16:07 AM
I am getting "Redirection limit reached" when accessing deepbit.net JSON stats from PHP. I tried both deepbit.net and pit.deepbit.net.
Probably also the cause why deepbit.net is not shown in bitcoinwatch.com, neither.
Using wget I can get result fine. Strange.
That's very strange because it's working fine for me in Chrome.
Will try to find the cause...

I'm getting quite a few "miner is idle" warnings. Is the problem at my or at your end?
PM me your login name.
Is your displayed speed at account page way lower than expected or not ?
1253  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] SSL, API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: May 30, 2011, 05:24:15 AM
What about statistics?  ???
this, it doesn't seem to be changing for long time now
We had a long block, it's already solved.
1254  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] _0% FEE_, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: May 30, 2011, 05:23:36 AM
Sorry for possible offtop, but I want to feedback on those new GUI changes in statistics!
Well done! I really like it! Keep it going this way!
Thanks. I'm planning to add much more stats to it and may be completely rework stats+account pages.

Also there is a chance that new, Third payout mode with a pool-hopping protection will be deployed soon.
1255  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] SSL, API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: May 30, 2011, 05:21:21 AM
[0 Khash/sec] [719 Accepted] [56 Rejected] [RPC (+LP)]
This number of stale shares is normal? It says RPC (+LP) but i don't see any "LONGPOLL: pushed new work" in the console.
No, it's not normal.

LP may be not fully working now, but it's not normal even without LP
1256  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] SSL, API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: May 30, 2011, 05:17:22 AM
Out of curiosity, is that guy just blowing smoke or can you really generate that much cash in a day running a pool?  Some friends and I have been discussing it but weren't sure if it was worth the effort.
Well, not really. I'm not the only one behind the pool, so the profit is divided. Also the high USD/BTC rate wasn't always there. I can live with this profit without having a job (heh, actually the pool support IS even more than a fulltime job), but it's not THAT big, I never had even $10k in my hands at once :)
And the profit is not always positive, sometimes we have unlucky runs when PPS is draining pool's balance :)
1257  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] SSL, API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: May 30, 2011, 04:52:36 AM
Can't access to Deepbit site and miner says connection problem.
(some post said that site is up and miners connecting)
My GPU needs some resting :) Will test in ~11hours when i'm back
Are you sure that your DNS server reports correct IP address ?
1258  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] SSL, API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: May 30, 2011, 04:50:54 AM
Not sure if this is related to anything but before the outage I never saw this, now I'm getting it about every 5 minutes on poclbm.
30/05/2011 00:14:42, long poll exception:
Then it goes right back to hashing.  *shrug*
Yes, this issue is caused by the DDoS protection and we are trying to find a way to fix it.
This breaking of LP connection won't really affect your mining, don't worry.
1259  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] SSL, API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: May 30, 2011, 04:19:20 AM
Not working for me.  Hit the pay button, BTC is gone from deepbit account.  It's been an hour, zero confirmations.  Whats going on?
Something weird is going on with the Bitcoin network. It took 30 minutes for a payment to even show up on block explorer after the BTC disappeared from my deepbit account. Usually it is instantaneous.
Our hashrate is lower now, that may be the reason. Usually we had a block in less than 15 minutes.

So you already see it in your wallet with 0 confirmations ? Then everything is ok, just wait until it gets included in some block.
