Not working for me.  Hit the pay button, BTC is gone from deepbit account.  It's been an hour, zero confirmations.  Whats going on?
So you already see it in your wallet with 0 confirmations ? Then everything is ok, just wait until it gets included in some block.

Welcome to my bitcoin mining pool: https://deepbit.net - Both payment schemes (including PPS), instant payout, no invalid blocks !

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Something weird is going on with the Bitcoin network. It took 30 minutes for a payment to even show up on block explorer after the BTC disappeared from my deepbit account. Usually it is instantaneous.

Our hashrate is lower now, that may be the reason. Usually we had a block in less than 15 minutes.

Yea I saw this happen with my last 2 payments from deepbit.  The one yesterday was sent instantaneously, but had 0 confirmations for like 8 or 10 hours.  It did not show up on blockexplorer either.  So it looks like it wasn't included in a block.  I'm just wondering why it would take another 60 or 80 blocks for the transaction to be "picked up" in the block chain, rather than being picked up in the second, or third, or fourth block.

My other transfers (with 0 transaction fees) to/from others have not been affected thus far.

Not sure if this is related to anything but before the outage I never saw this, now I'm getting it about every 5 minutes on poclbm.

30/05/2011 00:14:42, long poll exception:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "BitcoinMiner.pyo", line 259, in longPollThread
File "BitcoinMiner.pyo", line 222, in request
File "httplib.pyo", line 974, in getresponse
File "httplib.pyo", line 391, in begin
  File "httplib.pyo", line 355, in _read_status
BadStatusLine

Then it goes right back to hashing.  *shrug*

Yes, this issue is caused by the DDoS protection and we are trying to find a way to fix it.
This breaking of LP connection won't really affect your mining, don't worry.

[0 Khash/sec] [719 Accepted] [56 Rejected] [RPC (+LP)]

This number of stale shares is normal? It says RPC (+LP) but i don't see any "LONGPOLL: pushed new work" in the console.
Someone can reply to me?

Ps: great work with the DDoS, [Tycho]  Smiley

Cool, thanks for the info Tycho.  Out of curiosity, is that guy just blowing smoke or can you really generate that much cash in a day running a pool?  Some friends and I have been discussing it but weren't sure if it was worth the effort.

it's not that fucking hard: calculate how many blocks are generated each day times 50 BTC times 3%

Yes we ran quite a few projections while we were discussing it but until I posted here I'd never had an opportunity to ask a pool operator about it directly.  Thanks for your obvious and very polite suggestion anyway.

Well, not really. I'm not the only one behind the pool, so the profit is divided. Also the high USD/BTC rate wasn't always there. I can live with this profit without having a job (heh, actually the pool support IS even more than a fulltime job), but it's not THAT big, I never had even $10k in my hands at once :)
And the profit is not always positive, sometimes we have unlucky runs when PPS is draining pool's balance :)

Sorry for possible offtop, but I want to feedback on those new GUI changes in statistics!

Well done! I really like it! Keep it going this way!

P.S,

When I got up this morning and went to check my rig and the thing that got me upset was that 2 of my 4 miners total had been idle with some strange text in phoenix cmd windows saying something about network failure.
Sorry but I did not take a screen of that error.

Does anyone had anything simmilar too?

No, it's not normal.

LP may be not fully working now, but it's not normal even without LP

Thanks. I'm planning to add much more stats to it and may be completely rework stats+account pages.

Also there is a chance that new, Third payout mode with a pool-hopping protection will be deployed soon.
