1241  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 12, 2016, 03:20:29 PM
I will never quit my job for bitcoins, and if I does then I am taking a huge risk with my family as there is no security for future if you are only earning with bitcoins as you don't know where bitcoin will stand in future.
1242  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 12, 2016, 03:16:31 PM
Gold is stable once it's truth. But btc can multiply your goods one day it's a bit riscky but i prefer a btc's
only those people who are afraid to be rich are choosing gold. (Just think) because usually people who are risk takers will become richer
so I prefer bitcoin

Gamblers are risk takers, are they all rich?

Most bitcoin holders seem to fall in the catagory of "If I have 1 bitcoin will I be a millionaire in 5 years"

Bitcoin is nothing but a gamble at the moment.  There is money to be made in the short term but not 100% convinced on its long term survival.

That's true bitcoin is the best when it comes to making quick money in short term, as regular ups and downs will allow us to make some money in quick interval and that is the reason I will choose bitcoin over gold.
1243  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: March 12, 2016, 03:12:07 PM
The best price were the last year around 300 dollars and had jumped into the current 400 soo between this ans above as could be hard to see this value gets lower with the such and short time moment to happen at bitcoin, sure some whales getting into altcoins to get even more btc,but well the market is very hot you can profit even buying and selling daily.

Yes, this is the good price to buy as the price is not too high at a moment, so if we buy at  a moment we can make some good money out of it at the time of halving, so anything around $400 is  good to buy.
1244  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: March 12, 2016, 03:09:44 PM
People continue to say bitcoin is dead, due to the usage of bitcoin in illegal activities. I wonder why such bad news getting spread easily than the good things that takes place with bitcoin.
come on. all currencies are also used for illegal activities we cannot stop it. moreover prohibit it they all have the right to use bitcoin as they wish

Yeah, and I think that fiat is more used in illegal activities but people will never speak about it they just want to make bitcoin negative and that is the reason they keep on saying that bitcoin is used for illegal activities and that is not good.
1245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: March 08, 2016, 07:53:03 PM
The problem that I am facing at a moment is that I can't find a single shop in my country where I can spend my bitcoins directly, and that makes me worried that what if the scenario doesn't change in future, will I always have to be dependent on fiat?
1246  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: March 08, 2016, 07:50:24 PM
I will keep on spending and earning bitcoins till the day bitcoin exists, as I don't want to get super rich with bitcoins but it would be really good If I keep on earning some extra income with the help of bitcoins.
1247  Other / Off-topic / Re: What else besides Bitcoin r u doing to make money online? on: March 08, 2016, 07:47:41 PM
I am doing some data entry work online which they pay me in my local currency on monthly but I am not relying on that totally, as they might run away at any mode of time so there is no guarantee that it will survive for long time.
1248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: March 08, 2016, 07:43:18 PM
In my country no one cares what bitcoin is all about? They are just busy with their  regular jobs and family issues, they just don't want to try any innovative things in their life, whenever I talk about bitcoin, they just say we will discuss this later on, and that time never comes.
1249  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: March 08, 2016, 07:40:01 PM
The ease  and speed of transaction makes bitcoin very unique and very attractive, I can money across the globe with the least fees involved and credits are instant and that is the best thing i kike about bitcoin,
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 08, 2016, 07:37:18 PM
Yes for now im still holding it and wait for the halving to be ended. i hope the price should be rise above 700 after halving...
Bitcoin has a potencial to increase more after halving so that still now i am collecting more bitcoins and i hope i  can make 2 bitcoins before halving ends..

Yeah you must always have certain target  in your mind so that you will actively make efforts to achieve it, we all are trying to collect as many coins possible so that we can be benefited at the time of halving by selling it at much higher prices.
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: March 08, 2016, 07:31:04 PM
I have a feeling that price would be better at the time of halving so not doing anything with my coins just holding it for next couple of months, even if the price drops I can afford to wait for a longer period of time.
1252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: March 08, 2016, 07:27:23 PM
I am investing my money into bitcoins, as I have a feeling that bitcoin will be much more stronger in future giving best returns on my investments, and I have total faith in it I will continue to invest money in it.
1253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: March 08, 2016, 07:24:27 PM
I will put my vote on dollar looking at the years of its existence, dollar is widely used and accepted across the globe whatever country your travel you have option of usd and not same with bitcoins.
1254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: March 08, 2016, 07:20:15 PM
In many countries gambling is treated as an illegal activity, but majority of us are spending our bitcoin on gambling, so yes bitcoin is used for illegal activities but atleast we are using only in gambling and not in any criminal or terrorist activities.
1255  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: March 08, 2016, 07:16:36 PM
I haven't spend my coins in real life yet, as there are no shops that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment, I have spent it only digitally, really waiting for the day when I can spend it physically.
1256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why does bitcoin take so long to import a privkey??? on: March 01, 2016, 09:57:06 AM
Because when you import a privatekey to bitcoin core wallet it rescan , if you want to stop rescan you can use below format, it will rescan wallet later next time you open it

Code:
importprivkey "bitcoinprivkey" "label" false

replace bitcoinprivkey with your private key
and label with label that you want to add for imported address

1258  Other / Meta / Re: Anybody seen this domain before? Copy of bitcointalk on: February 01, 2016, 06:43:52 PM
As said by theymos, these sites are either phishing or just looking to profit on ads.
I don't see ads placed on this site so either is phishing site or archive of bitcointalk.using you bitcointalk username and password there is risky
Official bitcointalk archive is bitcointa.lk
I think this fanbitcoin.com is a phishing site to steal your data.
1259  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your gambling stategy? Are you risky, or do you prefer slow? on: January 05, 2016, 07:38:48 AM

1260  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Cryptocurrency vanitygen address on: December 11, 2015, 03:29:16 PM
I can use split key method because i'm honest. I didn't write anything about it I sent only public key.

the guy who requested for vouch, you asked him to send pattern, coin, and delivery method but not asked him for public key.and nothing about public key was maintained in OP so I guess you were not using split key method.
