MoneroClub is a great idea and should be an important part of the growing Monero infrastructure going forward. Thus far, I have obtained over 90% of my XMR by buying BTC from localbitcoins, transferring to Poloniex and trading for XMR. If I need some fiat for a big purchase in the future (e.g. house/business), cutting one step out in the reverse process would be excellent. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Cheers, Q Speaking of which, is there anyway to get on coinbase?

The Monero Research Lab is working through the academic and research portion of this. There's literally no point in implementing multisig without full ring signature support, and ...
I would seriously recommend keeping this closed source if possible when implemented. Maybe 2 versions where the paranoid can use wallets without multi-sig. The first that gets here and can keep it to themselves will be the clear winner. closed source == dead coin Not if there is an open source that accomplishes the same thing just with less functionality. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Or as I recommended, A closed source wrapper. Think about the ramifications. Do you have any clue how many shit coins will pop up and stuff this into their inferior code thereby diluting the waters and monero devs will have done the work and the coin will not reap the rewards.

...A possible middle ground, of sorts, for "full" devices would be to run your own remote daemon. This should help you make a more informed choice:)
I was thinking this as I was reading your post. There should be a DIY in the OP and FAQ on how to set this up.

Very nice, where you have "all currencies" please replace with "all supported currencies", this is far from a complete list. Lol ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

From the outside (I never throw my money at unvetted anons) It looks to me like DAVID ZIMBECK must complete the project he was paid for and then the scammed investors should take over the project. The basic Idea is sound.
Nothing to do but make lemonade from lemons and maybe a little behind the scenes revenge. Personally I can travel anywhere to take care of business if I ever get taken, but I'm not moronic enough to invest without due diligence.
As a side note I'm glad to hear Bobs scamming group all got shafted. They are not needed around here. I hope they band together and find him, but they are just a bunch of mini-bobs with no balls and dreams of stealing from a scene that should be changing the face of the planet. To bad they are so stupid they don't realize they are doing the banking systems job for them. RETARDS ALL. Open your eyes fools for a small profit you destroy a scene that could set you free from the system that your trying to change. These people just have no foresight. Very low IQ's all.

McCaleb, who also founded now-defunct bitcoin exchange Mt Gox, later released a technical assessment that pointed to a persistent stability issue within the stellar network. Well that says it all right there now doesn't it. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

talking about markets and monero - is anybody working on multisigs? can somebody say some words about this? that is a crucial thing to have with a proper wallet (and i2p integration). multisigs might make a big difference, new p2p markets are starting and this is a must have feature
The Monero Research Lab is working through the academic and research portion of this. There's literally no point in implementing multisig without full ring signature support, and so this requires some careful thought to get it right (cryptographically speaking). Just like with everything we do that is integral and deeply tied into Monero, we have to apply the appropriate amount of care, as people's lives and their livelihood can depend on it later on. I would seriously recommend keeping this closed source if possible when implemented. Maybe 2 versions where the paranoid can use wallets without multi-sig. The first that gets here and can keep it to themselves will be the clear winner. Added: Thinking more on this and is there any reason this could not be implemented in a wrapper? Just for security reasons that may be a eloquent way to address. I wish I could still program this would be a great project to work on.

Ok, I'm finally accumulating a decent balance from my bter withdrawals into my wallet. To forge, all I need to do is login and log out? Or do I have to stay logged in?
I see guys have already answered you ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) If you or anybody else have 500,000 and stable access to the Internet, I'd highly recommend to keep it on your own wallet. Today Anrdew (Paramon) told me that he forged 100,000 in less than 3 weeks (7981595429821076186). I've had my wallet open with 500,000 node running 24/7 with minimal downtime and have forged less than 8,000 node. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if he's just exploiting the system. I have had similar results.

Does anyone have an updated list of nodes? I seem to only get a few connections to the network and I am having to redownload the blockchain.
What you mean is there a new wallet already? I synced my wallet this morning with no problems I'm only able to get 5 connections to the network and it is not syncing. It just says "out of sync" but yet I have connections... ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Hmm, mine also says out of sync and it is connected...it has also been constantly connected for the last 2 months! Someone feeling threatened again? Or maybe a move to get cheap coins? I'm not at home so can't check wallet right now.

Any decent projections on BTC price in next month, I've been waiting for it to dip again but it's holding pretty steady last week or so. I want to invest this months income in xmr but want to grab the btc as low as possible obviously. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) It will go lower. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) mY THOUGHTS as well. I'll wait another week.

As a result, we can offer CPU power for batch processing

Ran fine for a few hours and then I decided to kick the tires and Client crashed while in irc shell. I sent 1 command "/nick Hueristic" and a few seconds later while reading the freenet topic the client closed.
@Hueristic @cryptolemaik Please try this: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Foi58.tinypic.com%2Fdp72ip.jpg&t=663&c=N5u6osWB2eX_8g) will give it a shot when I get back home in a few days. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
