How much longer to PD3?! This is annoying now, waiting for soooo long and all we get are promises

Do you really think you could win more in PD3? Cheesy

Haha. Is PD3 actually going to be vastly different? I've got a feeling it'll just be practically the same site with a few minor tweaks / improvements. Is there new games coming?

I expect more advanced automatic betting features, something like scripting language... And yes, answering my own question, I think I could win more (in fact, win something, lol)... Cool

Well there will be 1% more chance to win on pd3 on PvP , coz there will be no more house edge.

I may well be missing something, but I don't really understand what PvP (peer vs peer?) actually means in respect to "rolling dice"... How's that? Cool

Player vs Player. If I played you, only one of us would win instead of PD (I think).

I still don't get it. How could this be done? Huh

I imagine in the same way it's done now. I pick over 50 and you under 50 or something. Winner takes all.

How do you work that out? And it's people in general that vote these people in.

Look at the historic poll numbers. Women have always voted for the pro-banking and pro-welfare parties. And even in a recent poll, women favored banning the Bitcoin, while the majority of the men were against any such measure.

It seems men vote for those people too. Who do you vote for? And how many people were conducted in this poll and from where?

12465  Other / Meta / Re: some thing wrong with bitcointalk member system? on: April 10, 2014, 07:43:35 PM
If member status depends on post count, anyone can be a hero member within a month  Cheesy

Well that all depends on how many posts it would take to become one, but I like this system so you can't spam your way through the ranks.

How do you make it clear? Think all the info was there when you sign up and also in the stickie, but people tend to not read it and just skip past it.
12467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: another mention of bitcoin on primetime TV on: April 10, 2014, 07:39:04 PM
College Humour just did a sketch on it: http://youtu.be/vqNEdDaFLCM

hmmm i dont class this as a PRIME TIME TV show. but just for the hilarity of us talking about prime time TV. then that sketch probably is a great dramatisation of what happens in the writers offices of most prime time shows who have not yet featured bitcoin.

Yeah I know, but I didn't think it warranted its own thread, though I'm sure there'll be a few.

Yeah, more botting features would be great. I use that a lot. Is there an ETA yet or is it still "soon"?
12470  Other / Off-topic / Re: WHAT THE FUCK SOUTH AFRICA?!**Graphic** on: April 10, 2014, 07:29:29 PM
The person who did this needs to be fucking shot to fucking death.

How the fuck?

I don't understand, I'm surely going to move to another country, I cannot stand this shit.

http://www.ecr.co.za/post/toddler-tied-up-video-goes-viral/

You do realise worse shit than this happens to kids everyday all over the world?

I know that, but who videos this shit. Angry

Again, there's far worse child abuse filmed. Some people are sick fucks, nothing new or surprising.
12471  Other / Meta / Re: Bring back the newbie jail on: April 10, 2014, 07:26:21 PM
Yes, please bring it back. At least once a day I am flagging a spam comment or an alt coin post in bitcoin discussion.

Only one or so?  Cheesy You're easily annoyed, but maybe an ignore all newbies setting may be beneficial to some.

What were the reasons for removing newbie hell again starting to forget remember it had opposite arguments
Now that we have seen the grass on both sides think the whitelist system was the way to go on this one
Then again with activity would take 1.5 months to escape without whitelisting

I'm not sure if any reason was given publicly, it just went one day, but I imagine white-listing to be a bit of a pain and pretty time-consuming for the mods.

Thanks for the laugh, op. Head on over to the mining or alt coin section, but don't mine Bitcoins because you wont make any secret money  Cheesy.

Depends on a rig you will use. But seems like op don't want to mine coins ..

Yeah, but newbs tend to be priced out of buying equipment to mine BTC profitably. And how else can you secretly create money?

Sad to see the rude comment on the rude.

Haha uwotm8?

Why do people think it is funny to post dumb things? Why do they be morons?

Have you asked yourself same question before you did create this thread.

I very much doubt it, unless he was being purposely ironic in an attempt to troll. If so, well played.
12478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going to the conference in Amsterdam by spending ONLY bitcoins? Is it doable? on: April 10, 2014, 05:50:25 PM
So are you going to book the thing with only Bitcoins? And are there any coffee shops that accept BTC? I imagine there should be at least one by now.

I see you're new 'round here. You'll get used to it.

Why do they be morons?

My favourite bit.
