12461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Food industry and cryptocurrency on: September 14, 2016, 05:49:24 AM
The governments of the world will not allow for < Commodity coins > to be traded, without their intervention and manipulation. They want full control over all currencies to manage the economy in the way they want to. The consumers will also not accept this. Imagine if you want to buy 1 lobster and 1 Apple and 1 bread etc.. and you will have to deal with separate Crypto currencies for each? This will not work. ^sorry^
12462  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about saving a large amount of coins on: September 13, 2016, 09:14:37 AM
This question can be answered in the best manner, if you share with us, how you want to use these coins. We mostly use paper wallets for long term storage, and because cold storage is one of the safest options, if you are creating these paper wallets in the correct manner. < Air-gapped computer or a offline computer >

If you want to dive into your coins regularly, I would invest in a Trezor hardware wallet, and keep some of the coins stored onto that device. Notice, I am saying some of the coins, and not all of them. I prefer to split my coins into smaller groups onto different paper wallets, to give me the flexibility to sweep smaller amounts of coins when needed, and not all the coins, every time I need to use some. ^smile^
12463  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Future of CryptoCurrency on: September 13, 2016, 06:41:51 AM
I see you have some experience in trading with CFD's so why not combine the best of both worlds, with the trading of CFD's with Bitcoin on https://1broker.com/

I think Crypto currencies opened the door for the little guys, where previously some aspects of the financial systems were closed to exclusive rich people. The future of Crypto currencies lay in the micro payment channels on a global trade, and micro job opportunities being created for everyone in the online global markets. ^smile^
12464  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: help a beginner! on: September 13, 2016, 06:32:06 AM
If I were you, I would first determine what I want to mine, and then ask the question based on that. Let's just take
Bitcoin mining as a example for now, and use online mining calculators to determine if it is profitable to mine Bitcoin. Here is one example of such a calculator : http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/bitcoin-mining-calculator

It is not to say, that if Bitcoin mining is not profitable, that you should not consider mining, there are many other Alt coins with much lower difficulty that can still be mined with some nice profit margins. ^smile^
12465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1mb is too big on: September 13, 2016, 06:19:12 AM
So do we get this? The guy see a cute little dog, and think it's cute. The dog says, 1mb is too big. So the guy realize that the dog is retarded, so his opinion is of no use? Is this a cartoon targetted at small blockers, to say that they should not have a opinion on block sizes, because they are retarded?

I think both sides are retarded, and should stop attacking each other. If I could draw a cartoon, I would draw two dogs fighting over 1 bone, and whilst they are fighting a 3rd dog steal the bone. Think about that, with all the other Alt coins and Blockchain based technologies licking their lips, for Bitcoin to fail. ^hmmmm^
12466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mixer or anonymous altcoin(xmr, dash), which is more anonymous? on: September 13, 2016, 06:01:33 AM
XMR/Monero is the most anonymous one out there. Bitcoin mixers are centralized, dash is centralized, so I think we have a clear winner.

So if both are centralized in your opinion, what would be the difference? Monero have a very small network compared to Bitcoin, if someone wants to take over the hash power, their capital investment would be minimal. Once they take control, they can do what they want.

The legal process to obtain information from a mixer service in another country can become complex and very expensive, so even if it might be percieved as less anonymous, you will not likely go through the process to obtain the information through the legal process. ^smile^
12467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in everyday life on: September 13, 2016, 05:43:00 AM
What is your opinion: will btc become a currency with which you can pay in supermarkets, subways etc?
Or will it remain a crypto-currency used mostly in the Internet?

your oppinion is very long time in can bitcoin to curency in all pay real life
buy in supermarket and more
because bitcoin only digital curency only use bitcoin must to online
bitcoin not ready physic coin, only digital, and not yet regulated curency in real life
The purpose of bitcon is not for a real life, they are made for completing the human's life in the digital world for making the transaction is more easier for using bitcoin and bitcoin is not made for a real life.

+1 for your post count on your signature campaign, because you are saying nothing with this post. I do not know if this is a language thing or if you just wanted to bump your post count. Bitcoin is money, and money are being used in real life every day, so I cannot understand what you are trying to say with this post? ^hmmmmm^
12468  Economy / Services / Re: [100 POSTS=5$]Get paid .05 cents PER posts on my forum (BTC) on: September 13, 2016, 05:24:24 AM
I am curious, why would someone post bump a forum for two days only? A forum owner with a long term vision, wants continuous daily traffic over the duration of the forum's existance to attract attention from advertisers. The Google Analytics will reflect a spike and then normal traffic, so it would be of no use.

If I want to advertise on a site, I will ask for the sites performance reports over a longer period. So I would rather pay for posting over a period of a month to generate sustained traffic. You can place the payment in escrow or you can pay weekly to build trust. ^hmmmm^
Reason I don't do that is: 1) Main reason: I don't want to not have enough funds and end up getting a bad reputation. I would much rather play it safe and go day by day. 2) I do not want my forum to be a pay-to-post forum, but rather an active and quality forum

If you manage it properly, and you set a budget for the paid to post, you will not get a bad reputation. You also put hard limits on the amount of people who can join there, so you will never go over the budget. The community needs more opportunities for them to earn money/bitcoins from things like this.

It creates job opportunities and it also stimulates the whole system, because more people get introduced to micro payments for small jobs via Bitcoin. The advantage for your forum, will be constant traffic over a longer period.

Hope you will think about this, and start small. Once the traffic increased, you can pull out and advertisers can take over. ^smile^

12470  Economy / Speculation / Re: wtf is happening? btc drop on: September 12, 2016, 11:26:28 AM
What is happening? What is happening is that somebody just sold a lot of coins and that made the Bitcoin price drop. That's nothing but a common thing since there's a lot of rich people involved in bitcoin trading. It's not shocking that it rose up to 628$ and then now it's just 608$. We should actually be grateful because the previous pump made us rise from 540-560$ into 600-620$. Atleast we were able to witness an actual movement.

Do you have proof that a single person have the abillity to influence the price shift that much? Is there any evidence on a exchange to substantiate this claim? People who have been in the Bitcoin scene for a long time, will know that price volatility is part of the game now, and have been for years.

We do not panic, when the price drop within these margins, because we know it will bounce back and recover in the long term. Pull the graphs and you will see what I mean. ^smile^
12471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Free bitcoin in Iceland on: September 12, 2016, 06:53:36 AM
It would be great, if this can become a trend. The people at local Bitcoin meetups can arrange their own or it can be done by prominent people in the community, who can be trusted. Make the treasure bigger, by crowd funding it or get companies to sponsor the prizes.

In this way more people can become involved to spread the hidden treasures. The funds can be placed in escrow, if a simple paper wallet drop will not be trusted. We have our own human driven PokemonGo for Bitcoin. ^smile^
12472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying, Mining and Storing Bitcoin on: September 12, 2016, 06:42:22 AM
The funny thing is, these people still think people will fall for this kind of sock puppets promoting their own scams. On a active board like this, it will be exposed within a few minutes from posting. Thank you for the people who jump on these scams as soon as they are posted, we have to work together to clean up these issues. ^smile^
12473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VCC or VDC payment through Bitcoin wallet funds on: September 12, 2016, 05:56:56 AM
You cannot make 100% anonymous payments with credit cards, because it is already linked to your bank account and registered on a central service with all your details. The only way this will be possible, is if you use stolen credit cards, and if that is what you doing, I do not want to be involved.

Why all the secrecy?
12474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin GEOCACHE in Iceland FREE money to the first one there!! on: September 12, 2016, 05:49:47 AM
Wow, one of the people here was damn close, with what I presume was just a guess. It looks like some sort of monument with the plaque on the side. Well I figure that photo will take the price, and people will find it much easier now. ^smile^

This is a good way to promote tourist sites for people to visit, I hope you are going to give us a brief history to educate us a bit, when this is done. If something like this is properly funded, then it will boost tourism to that area.
12475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin VS Time on: September 12, 2016, 05:36:35 AM
people like OP should really stop worrying too much about bitcoin price and the future of their little investment. if you want to think about bitcoin ONLY as an investment then first learn trading and all the tips and tricks of it then come back and invest in it properly not a small amount that you bought on the peek because of fear of missing out and now you are worried about your money.

other than that you should try to think of bitcoin as it was meant to be as a currency not a get rich quick scheme.

It is natural that most people, who are new to Bitcoin and who heard stories and saw stats on it's price history, that they might think the price will go to those levels again. Bitcoin and other Alt coin are also continuously hyped up, so people have a certain expectation about it's performance.

Let them experience it for themselves, we all did.
12476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial education and Bitcoin. on: September 09, 2016, 07:10:30 AM
I myself came from a traditional family, where it is quite common to have a lot of money misconceptions and how to deal with money problems faced by every family. As I grew up, I learned to distance myself from what my parents and siblings view on money management was. Now that I am a parent myself, I would serve as a role model for my child and teach him valuable lessons about money when he is old enough to understand how money or the lack thereof affects our lives.

This is a very good post, but the point is not if we should educate them, but rather when. Also, should this happen at a earlier age with Bitcoin, because it gives more freedom and control to it's user. We have to realize that giving people more freedom and control, comes with added risks.

They have no customer protection and insurance to fall back on, when they deal with Bitcoin directly. They are given 100% control over their private key, when they do not use Bitcoin through 3rd party services. Your money matters are your own responsibility now, and this increase your risk, if you manage that poorly.

I am saying, let's find a way to educate the youth at a younger age when they are using Bitcoin, based on our collective experience for them to learn from our mistakes. Bitcoin gives children at a younger age, the opportunity to manage their own money, which is not the case with other fiat systems and banks.

Let's protect our children from the scams and the exploitation that are currently out there, by educating them at a earlier age, when they use a technology that enables them to trade globally. ^hmmmm^
12477  Economy / Economics / Re: English Pound VS Europe Euro Vs US dollar on: September 09, 2016, 06:47:11 AM
All three of them are worth shit, because it's value is being manipulated by their governments. These fiat currencies are being printed at the same rate as the production of toilet paper. The Bitcoin price/value is based on real supply and demand principles and the supply is fixed in the protocol, to prevent manipulation.

Only consensus can change any of these principles and that will not happen soon, because too many people have a vested interest in it not being changed. Why would anyone invested in Bitcoin allow the cap to be increased? It will lower the value of their current bitcoins. ^hmmmmmm^
12478  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: People with disabilities Project on: September 09, 2016, 06:33:47 AM
Give a face to the project and proper validation from a legitimate organization that the funds will go to the cause it was supposed to go to, and you would gain more momentum. There has been many scams involving fund raising for good causes, and in the end the money goes to the pockets of the scammers.

You should not hide your identity, if you are a legitimate organization trying to collect money for a good cause. Good luck with your project. ^smile^
12479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial education and Bitcoin. on: September 09, 2016, 06:15:10 AM
[...]
So based on this information, where would you introduce Bitcoin into the lives of our youths, considering that Bitcoin needs more responsible people, because you place all the financial decisions in your own hands and not into the hands of some bank or financial institution. ^hmmmm^

Why does Bitcoin need more responsible people than any other form of money? Your argument that all financial decisions are in one's own hands is without merit, because interventions by banks and financial institution that restrict private financial decisions are perceived as an abuse of power by most people. Bitcoin is no special case compared to "ordinary money" when it comes to human behavior.

I'm opposing the view that people need to be "educated" to do the "right thing". It's another form of power abuse, because those who define what's "right" manipulate children to follow their agenda. In my opinion, people should be free to make their own experiences and manage their funds as they see fit. Patronizing people in their financial matters prevents independent learning and encourages appeal to authorities.

Besides that the methodology of the "study" is not adhering to any reasonable standard, the outright furtiveness of the project becomes apparent when closely looking at its implementation: The children are taught to use saving accounts, i.e. fiat money banking services. In fact, the whole study is not an independent endeavor to improve financial literacy and critical thinking in financial matters, but centers around pro-banking propaganda. No thanks!

ya.ya.yo!

Ok, point taken, but the project was just posted as a stimulus for discussion on what Bitcoin people should do to improve on that. You have highlighted an important aspect, and we should rather just concentrate on education to protect, rather than prescribing to people how to manage their money.

I would rather warn people about my mistakes and prevent them from repeating them. ^smile^
12480  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which US presidential candidate will back Bitcoin? on: September 09, 2016, 05:53:17 AM
None of the above, Why? because H Clinton is too conservative and old school, and she has a history with the banks and also NO for Trump, because he is a wise ass, who thinks he is the only person who has a opinion or any good ideas.

There is zero incentive for them to make money from this, because it can be used for capital flight when the dollar hits rock bottom soon, and people can use it to avoid taxes. They will ignore the new jobs and the extra taxes that can be derived from that, if they allow Bitcoin business to flourish.
