12501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Margingale Work? on: February 20, 2019, 01:21:10 PM
It doesn't work in the long term and what you show through your pictures don't really mean something except pure luck.

Many and many persons have tried in the past to win with this strategy but up to today no one has managed to win with it. A lot of persons have lost a lot of money with it is the most common result of this strategy.
12502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer strategy (little risky) Challenge! on: February 20, 2019, 10:19:24 AM
I like to mess up and try new things and different betting options so your strategy sounds interesting to me and I am going to try it for some time. Normally handicap -3 means that the team have to lose with a 4 goal difference to lose the bet and since the odd is less than 2 for the team we are playing against this sounds logical. Unfortunately there is no logic in gambling so nothing is guaranteed to work.
12503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Roulette - what to bet on? on: February 20, 2019, 08:59:00 AM
This is a easy question actually. I don't suggest you play roulette at all but if you do the vet with more possibilities compared to other bets is Red or Black. Martingale works here if you have an infinite bankroll and an offline casino do not place bet limitation, but they all do now so Martingale does not work anymore.
12504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: February 20, 2019, 08:11:50 AM
I hope there will be goals tonight as yesterday was a goaless night. I think we have to go back in time some years before we can see another result of all games finishing 0-0.

Tonight I think Atletico Madrid vs Juventus is the game to watch and I think we will see another draw here as the most likely result.
12505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Disadvantages of Gambling on: February 20, 2019, 07:17:58 AM
There are a lot of disadvantages and little advantages to gambling. Gambling can impact your life, it can lower your standard of life is the miminum it can happen to you. The maximum is you risk to lose your family and be all alone , I have seen many people talking to themselves in the street and I know for many of them it is the consequence of gambling addiction.
12506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Roulette Tips on: February 19, 2019, 03:12:23 PM
7- never play roulette

I think this is the best advice so far. Roulette is a game of luck and if you go play in offline casinos the chances of you getting scammed are really high, the dealer has the edge beside the luck obviously which can't favour a side always.

I would stick to this recommandation only.
12507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If... on: February 19, 2019, 10:00:28 AM
There are not many possibilities when you get addicted, you either continue addiction which inevitably will make you life miserable or you ask to get help from your friends to bring you to professional centers of rehabilitation.

12508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and investment - different discussion on: February 19, 2019, 08:24:19 AM
Gambling from the definition itself is some kind of luck related activity while investment have another definition , in fact it has many but the major one is you invest money into some activity thinking that you will get more money by doing this move.

Based on this investment is better than gambling for me.
12509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Own Gambling Strategy on: February 18, 2019, 03:16:53 PM
I think borrowing money for gambling it is a very bad conceptual thinking.I imagine myself to borrow money from friends or the bank only for major causes in life, like a bad disease, mortgage to buy a home and similar cases. Borrowing money to gamble is the first step to addiction and we all know what addictions does.
12510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favoritism vs Addiction on: February 18, 2019, 01:16:41 PM
Favoritism is not something I would associate to addiction, they differ a lot from each other. Favoritism is when you play only one slot and you don't overdo it, you set a bankroll and stick to it, if you win ok if not still ok.

Gambling addiction is when your brain do not think of anything else except gambling, lately addiction has been put as a pathology, a disease from many doctors.
12511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits of ETF approval to gamble industries! on: February 18, 2019, 09:15:28 AM
I think it will not affect crypto gambling as much as people are thinking here. Crypto gambling is a well established industry, I would say the most solid one in crypto zone and is solid based on bitcoin mostly so ETF won't make it go much further than it already is.
12512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: February 18, 2019, 08:00:59 AM
Gambling can eat your brain and money only if you have become addicted and haven't realized it yet. Your brain in this phase does not think of anything else except gambling. So you keep betting and losing money only at this stage as your brain does not think correctly. The only solution is to seek professional help at this stage.
When we didn't realize it we are ot going to seek help from anyone else, maybe people will help from others only to ask money to play more and more when they are addicted this much.
By professional help I mean to go to centers which are specialized in rehabiliting people who are addicted this much and I do not mean to ask or borrow money to gamble more which will further make the situation worse.

Even when that person did not realize what he is doing, his friends and family should tell him to go and ask for professional help in a center which is specialized in rehabiliting people from gambling.

12514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Beginner Just A Quick Question on: February 17, 2019, 08:00:19 PM
You can mine Monero or Bytecoin with that processor as it is still a strong one in Cpu mining. As for that Gpu it is really old now and I have not seen a good compatible miner to give you good profit but you can try Nicehash or some other relevant miner.
12515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why are profits so low? on: February 17, 2019, 02:01:06 PM
It is because Bitcoin price is not what it used to be, this also impacts all other altcoins and the profits are low compared what they used to be in last 6 months of the year 2017.

I do not mine to pay bills, I mine with the hope that one day bitcoin price will skyrocket and I will be happy that I continued to mine it even when many people have quit.
12516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hi Miners, let's collect CPU minable coins and your opinion about them! on: February 17, 2019, 11:35:54 AM
I agree with your choices but another good coin or I think it was because I am not mining it anymore was Bytecoin (BCN).

I don't know if ASICS have taken over this coin too but some time ago I was mining this coin with my CPU after seeing that many members here were doing the same thing.
12517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 16, 2019, 08:05:47 AM
Fa cup brings only some action and is more fun to watch in a way that you see stronger teams against low divisions team and you laugh when you see the team difference in the way they play football.

Premier League action will be back on 22 February next Friday with two games.
12518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why i'm geting low hashes on minergate GUI on: February 15, 2019, 10:17:04 AM
Guys Minergate realy steals hashes?
Today i have  noticed, on minergate gui i was geting around 128 H/s
But on same pc using XMRIG i was geting 143 H/s
What is this?

Immediately switch to some other miners, Minergate has a lot of scam accusations against them with stealing and cheating through their software. I think no one here in the forum uses it except absolute beginners.

You can try Nicehash as automatic mining software or try manual miners like Claymore etc.
12519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: FusionSilicon X7 Miner - Good investissement ?? on: February 15, 2019, 08:28:08 AM
Dash is not profitable from a long time so don't waste any money on it. We have a history of big failures from Antminer with their D3 miner.

Even if this miner may look like it is better because it is produced after the D3 chances are high it will go obsolete in a very short amount of time , so not a good investment.
12520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is Decred or any Blake256R14 mining profitable? on: February 15, 2019, 07:33:13 AM
Decreed and almost all other coins are not profitable, but the t-rex miner in the X16R algorithm is giving me good results in my single rig consisting of six 1060 3 GB which are giving me 72 Mhs consistent hashrate.

Based on my electricity rate it is a bit profitable but even if it weren't I would still mine at a loss because I believe in the future of crypto.
