12543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallet do you use for your Bitcoin? on: August 24, 2014, 10:03:06 PM
I prefer to only use Bitcoin Core for storing my bitcoins.

On my smartphone I use the BlockChain app, but only for small amounts like 0.2BTC

Can't believe ManUtd is near completing Di Maria signing, a whopping € 75,000,000 will help as well  Cheesy

Real Madird sold Ozil, which was a bad move, they now sell Di Maria, and perhaps this or next season Isco will be sold as well...

12548  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion - New Poll! La Liga Title? on: August 23, 2014, 10:51:21 AM
I have Atletico and Man City to defend their titles
And Dortmund to pip Bayern in the Bundesliga...

Oh, I would love Borussia Dortmund to win Bundesliga.

Glad to see atletiko wins over real.

Game was good but i was expecting even more.

Better will be next time

Yeah, was a deserved win for altetico. The body-check from Ramos was fantastic, Raul Garcia didn't see that comming  Grin

I think Ramos should have got red card for his start on Mandžukić. He is great defender but he plays way too much dirty. No class in his game unlike Vidić, he is the beast!

Referees in Spain are not the same as in England. In Spain a lot more is tolerated in derby clashes like these.

And also, the quality of the referees in Spain is horrible.

Mario Balotelli is almost Liverpool player, not sure if he is the right choice.

Atleast the transfer fee of €20,000,000 is quite low given his age and if you compare it with the abnormal high fees that many average players fetch.

I'm sure his shirt will be very popular and fly off the shelves, great player if he just not mess up.
12551  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] EarnBtc.org on: August 22, 2014, 08:40:18 PM
Very few domains will go for 10k, be realistic its a bitcoin domain...

Starting bid domain : 0.10BTC
Bid increasement minimum : 0.01BTC
Buy now price domain : 3.00BTC (open for negotiation)

This is realistic isn't it.  Wink

I never expected this domain to fetch 10K read my OP thoroughly.

I only used the freevaluator.com valuation to show that the domain itself is a quality domain. That's it.

12552  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] EarnBtc.org on: August 22, 2014, 08:28:47 PM
Forgot to mention that according to freevaluator.com this domain is worth over €10,000
That website (freevaluator.com) give false values.
Examples:

Code:
Estimated Value:	€ 10,500.00
Domain: MicroBet.org
Code:
Estimated Value:	€ 262.00
Domain: coincompound.com
Code:
Estimated Value:	€ 3,100.00
Domain: namecheap.com

Yeah, a freshly registered domain can't go for that much.

But it's a great domain, with much potential that attracts a lot people.

12556  Other / Off-topic / Re: online.net's €1.99 / month dedicated server on: August 22, 2014, 03:36:10 PM
kimsufi and online.net are both in france, but not same company.  just lots of big datacenters in france, germany, and NL.  digicube.fr is really cheap as well.  a place called oneprovider is online.net's reseller, they have some decent deals on there also (paris location)

i prefer hetzner to kimsufi/ovh/online.net, though.  in general, you'll be able to find the better servers on hetzner for cheaper than they are listed on ovh or online.net, as long as you use the robot auctions (no setup fees)

re: this online.net 1.99 euro dedicated server, is actually on a slightly faster CPU than the kimsufi 4.99, but they still both are horrible.  it has 160GB of space vs 500GB.  it's on a '1gbps port', but, well, I'm sure a lot of people will be sharing it.

for 2 euro though, i'll give it a try.  the first month was actually pro-rated to like .60 euro, but, er, i haven't read their ToS yet in regard to cancellation policy...   so dunno if i'll have to pay at least .60 + 2 or just .60.

I'll read the site thoroughly, and make sure there is no catch. I have now a high end dedicated server that I want to get rid of as it cost over €70 per month.

What I look for is a dedicated server with a non-shared connection with atleast 1gb/s network speed and unmetered data.
12557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Update Now to 0.9.5 wallet on: August 22, 2014, 03:25:25 PM
I am with confident holding my nearly 1K UNO  Grin

This is one of the very few coins that is worth holding. I have lost probably 3 to 5 btc due to shitty scamcoins this year. It sucks.

I like the atmosphere here, it's so friendly, a lot helpful people here ready to help.

Cheers.  Cheesy

Morning, Referee. Look for bilingual people to interest in coining: English-Mandarin, English-Cantonese, English-Indonesian.

One of our disappointments -- Internet problems and funds -- was with Indonesia; but Indonesia is a fine example of what I am suggesting:

The Indonesian Government and banking-system are both profoundly corrupt. Indonesians hate them both. I know people in Indonesia (I lived there for years). I began approaching Indonesians to set up a wallet. I was gonna GIVE them coin. There was almost NO crypto presence in the country at that time. Long story short: we could have put a crypto into TRANSACTIONAL use among the many expat workers and among Indonesians themselves.

We intended running what we call a 'P-WIP exchange': people who have established trust buy crypto by transferring fiat by Internet-banking.

Perth has a large population of Indonesian expats, and we were trying this technique a full year ago. We hoped to set up a system whereby the Indonesians in Australia bought coin from us, and then 'pumped' it into Indonesia.

Now, we have had one success with the Asian-Connection Project. IndiaMikeZulu ran the world's only English-language exchange for the South Korean DOKDO coin. I made contact because -- although these guys are clearly KICK ARSE clever devs -- they were struggling with language issues. I now have great relations with them. The first ever international commercial transaction made with the currency was me mailing a second-hand CD to the dev. Next week will see the publication of my first article in a South Korean Bitcoin e-magazine (translated by a local guy).

In countries that have remittance industries, get interested locals to contact locals and expats who could profitably use cryptos -- import-exporters, people with family members living as expats in the other nation, airline exmployees, teachers, etc. etc.

Ambitious? Yeh!! But there has never been in history a case in which you launch a little business, and then the world rushes over and presses its cash into your hands.

And An Encouragement:

if you launch even a micro-program of a truly ambitious nature, that is, you break away from the prevailing dynamic whereby everyone sits in front of the screen, pushing the same old buttons, and pulling the same old levers, then you can stabilise the price of the Joule. Once the price is stabiised -- particularly against a background of other coins slipping in price -- the the CAP of the coin stops being a problem for the interim. You can approach people with your head held high; and, as I suggested in the first place, you can use the Joule community as a nexus for activity that extends far beyond just pushing the XJO barrow.

Mark

Thank you for your time, very interesting read  Smiley You have a lot experience in writing I see, respect.

To accomplish things you listed we need to have a large group of people that dedicates a lot time in XJO.

Given the fact that we're short on man-power will make it a lot harder to work on large projects.

Most people have a full time job, and others are just here to mine and sell, and often drop a message.
12559  Other / Off-topic / Re: online.net's €1.99 / month dedicated server on: August 22, 2014, 03:08:42 PM
it's cheaper than that kimsufi, figured some people may be interested

http://www.online.net/en/dedicated-server/dedibox-kidechire

i ordered one just for kicks

I am looking to buy atleast one dedicated server, perhaps two, if the price is right.

The prices are incredibly low, not sure how they manage to offer all these servers for these prices.

Aren't kimsufi, ovh, online.net the same ??
