1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kyber ICO on: September 27, 2017, 04:18:05 PM

Well I am really dissapointed with Kyber. I was not able to participate in ICO and bought from EtherDelta just when it appeared.

EtherDelta price was around 0.006 ETH/BTC

Than it was showing rise to 0.0085 ETH/BTC it is only 30%

After Binance it is the worster coin 2 days in a row with a biggest minus according coinmarketcap.

From appearence on exchange it is allready minus 40%.

Hopefully we will see something better in near future. But for those who not from ICO start dynamic of coin is negative.

I think it is because NEO hype ,because all this Da Hong meeting with China Ministerium.

Most ICO go through this...don't believe me?  Check ETH history Smiley   It will recover, now is the time to BUY! Wink
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero future? on: September 27, 2017, 03:21:19 PM
I should be more specific i guess, im asking how the mining profitiablity will be in like 6-12 months, if i do 400€ now, how will it be in that timeframe? I already know its hard to tell how the difficulty  scales but i would love to know in which range it will be then.

XMR just had a jump and it might not move much anytime soon but I believe it is one of the best coins (top 10) out there and will grow in the future.  It is one to keep and HODL...just like BTC, ETH, LTC, NEO, etc.

If you are after something that will grow right away...it may not be the one, but who knows?  It might surprise us again. Smiley
1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie (me) trying to invest in a project on: September 27, 2017, 02:52:47 PM
As many already mentioned:

Stay away from ICOs for now until you learn more about cryptocurrency.  ICOs are the highest risk (and highest reward) and you can lose all your money fast (or multiply it many times).

It is not that simple to choose a good project...and even good projects sometimes plop.  There are many factors to look at to reduce the risk.  Many reviews are biased and as with anything in the web, you need to learn how to filter them or learn which sites to trust.

Having ETH and BTC is the best start but note that not all ICOs will use those 2 currencies.  Red Pulse (RPX) for example will only accept NEO.  A lot of ETH based ICO will usually accept the token in your ETH wallet.  BTC purchased tokens/coins will have a different rule/process.

Good luck!

GPUs, i dont have to pay eletricity at the rate they are consuming currently so im stuck with the hardware also, upgrading isnt possible in the future also.

We tried mining Monero and it is not worth it (return is so low).  You must have many powerful rigs to earn 400€~ per month
1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite coin so far on: September 27, 2017, 02:04:40 PM
i'm into Deeponion at the moment. if you don't know about it click my sig links and havea read. i also like digibyte and ethereum

well, you got so much from deeponion every week, so you love it, right Smiley

my favorite at the moment is waves and Zcoin, waves currently is in the trend increasing and I'm sure waves could be like ETH price.

Exactly!  I hardly see anyone not advertising (and earning for it) for DeepOnion who praises it.  To me it is one of the biggest scams (but I may be wrong).

1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stupid bittrex on: September 27, 2017, 01:12:51 PM
Neo is going up but I can access my neo in my wallet because of some automated maintenance.

1st, why are you keeping your NEO there?  In a private wallet, they earn GAS.

2nd, why do you need to access it?  Planning on selling?  You might thank Bittrex shortly because it has the potential to go so much higher than it is now.

Good luck!

Oh re: "maintenance"  I think that is a trick, I speculate the exchanges use those as excuse, they are trading or using the coins to stake (to generate GAS) and don't have them available Wink
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kyber ICO on: September 26, 2017, 02:45:44 PM
with that crazy volume on liqui i think big exchange listing is very near, they cant miss a cake like that

Yeah and it jumped to rank 21 in just a few days! :O :O :O
1269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is there a company that pools investor money to join ICOs? on: September 26, 2017, 02:07:19 PM
I am interested on ICOs but most are asking way too much money (some are $250,000 minimum to join) that many of us don't have.  On top of that, many exempt US citizen or residents from joining.

A possible work around is a REPUTABLE (hopefully bonded) company who can pool money from small time investors to buy in their chosen ICO.  Does such company exist?

Thank you.
1270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS coin information on: September 25, 2017, 08:23:20 PM
But what are the advantages of NEO when compared to etherium or EOS or waves. They are quite similar in what they offer right? I get that impression but I still don't understand much about NEO and EOS, but I always get the feeling they are used to create tokens and ICOs like ethereum.
NEO and Gas really seem to be doing well now, I'm tempted to buy some, but there are so many coins that it's hard to make any decisions.

Lets assume it is same as ETH...ETH has 10x more coins and it is at $291.

Can you see the growth potential of NEO based on that?  $25 right now and if it can reach same market cap of ETH...it is x115.

Not saying it will but just to illustrate the room for it to grow.  Now do more reading about NEO so you can either stay away or jump in while it is still affordable.  I think whales are on it...this is the only reason why both would grow this fast.

BTW, NEO ATH was about $52 last month.

Good luck!
1271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS coin information on: September 25, 2017, 07:45:16 PM
GAS seems to be on the upswing.  Huge gains today in fact. 59%........ Seems like a huge increase for one day. Almost same price as NEO.

63.33% now...whoah, even I  did not expect this!

My portfolio looks happy Cheesy
1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS coin information on: September 25, 2017, 06:11:25 PM
Gas is a coin created if you hold NEO.
As long as your NEO token are in the blockchain, you earn GAS.
You can claim it whenever you want.

...you got them backwards.

NEO is a coin
GAS is a token

For your info...

"Coins really only have one utility — to act as simple stores of value with limited-to-no other functionality. By “simple” value, I mean value not represented or manifested through a variety of dynamic functions. Tokens are a completely different breed all together. They can store complex, multi-faceted levels of value. Forget everything you know about bitcoin and pre-mined coins and that entire ilk of tech, Ethereum tokens are generated by a Smart Contract System (SCS), are highly programmable and have multi-functionality because of it. They transcend being just a coin, and through their array of functions become something much more — “tokens”. Technically, they are not “offered”, they are “generated”. Probably the most accurate phrase of what’s going on during an Ethereum token launch is to describe it as a “Token Generation Event”, but I’m not sure TGE has the same flare as ICO. Nevertheless, a coin does one thing, and a token can do many things."
1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS coin information on: September 25, 2017, 05:25:30 PM
Gas comes free if you're holding neo coins but you need the right wallet. AFAIK the only exchange that will give gas for any neo you leave on there (at your own peril!) is the binance exchange.
Correct but just FYI, you need about 3,700 NEO to get 1 GAS a day.

I use CityOfZion NEON wallet myself.
1274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BAT or Ripple on: September 25, 2017, 05:01:07 PM
Between the 2...I'd go with BAT

To me, the three worst investment choices among the top 50 coins are XRP, USDT and SC.
1275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS coin information on: September 25, 2017, 04:58:42 PM
1st GAS is a token for the NEO flatform.

NEO & GAS for that matter is in limbo right now due to China regulations so it can swing either way.   It could be a home run or a strike out.

For me, I am heavily invested on NEO (relatively speaking 33% of my small holding) and if my prediction is correct, GAS is one of the most under valued commodity right now....even compared to NEO.  Between the two, they represent half my holdings so I may be biased (fair warning).  IMHO, now is the time to buy...I would if I am not too heavy on it already.  Had to trim down a bit actually since at one point I have 70%+ on NEO.

Good luck!
1276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Move your SIGT to a wallet, Cryptopia is delisting it. on: September 25, 2017, 02:42:41 PM
What's the reasoning behind this?
Cryptopia usually don't delist coins, I thought they actually never delisted a coin unless it has some serious underlying issues.

"The combination of us having 18,000 addresses and users mining directly to our addresses caused there to be over a million small inputs. This caused the wallet to irreparably break while syncing"

SC, WAVES, and WAVES tokens are also being delisted.  ETH was also delisted last year.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Move your SIGT to a wallet, Cryptopia is delisting it. on: September 25, 2017, 02:27:51 PM
I just learned last night that Cryptopia is delisting SIGT and just want to share the info in case others did not hear this news like me.

Otherwise, your SIGT will be gone!!!  Also learned that SIGT may also go POS soon!

More delist coins here.

1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Da Hongfei, founder of Neo was contacted by Chinese Regulators on: September 24, 2017, 12:39:34 PM
IMHO, China will end up adopting NEO and it will moon...specially GAS.

They need a Chinese flag bearer...can't let BTC or ETH which are for them foreigners rule the crypto world.

BUY as much as you can (of both coins) now. Wink
1279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ripple Bounce Again? on: September 23, 2017, 02:10:25 PM
My question is why stay with it?

Hardly any growth, have legal problems, etc.  You better have a good reason for sticking with it otherwise just stay with BTC.  The only reason I do alt coin is the possibility of bigger gains.  I cannot see that in XRP.  Note that there several coins that made great gains (double even triple the value) the past 3 months while XRP lost 50% in value.

Full disclosure, due to it's low unit cost and ranking, XRP & SC are among my first coins and I dumped both as soon as I learned a bit more.  Boy am I glad I did!

Good luck!
1280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does such a coin exist ? (anti- pump and dump) on: September 21, 2017, 02:25:18 PM
I've read the FEDERAL is designing a "FederalCoin" which for all intents and purposes is what Tether does but backed by the government.  IF that happens then maybe we will have a real marker currency we can measure against and not BTC.

I think it will help the cryptoworld a lot if that happens.
