You can merit any post which you can like, even if it is a single word reply but if you are doing this for getting something in return which makes you as untrustworthy person but you won't get banned only will get negative trust ratings from DT members. DT member has their own judgment... if your post or the post of the person you want to give merit is high quality then doing a merit reply is not a bad thing. the bad thing is when you give more than 1 merit to posts that use short words like hi and how are you! We had seen 50 merits for a single word reply or one liner reply in the past if it is from a reputed forum member but if the same thing happens with two random members then it may be look shady so its completely subjective. |

You need to understand that savings and investment capital can't be the same thing that is why people can't be able to hold in the long term.If you are investing today and expecting a returns on next day or in few months more likely you will get negative results only.
There are such things, called the Ponzi/ MLM/ Pyramid/ money game scams. They promise a certain percentage on a daily basis and early birds are the luckier ones to profit. I am not talking about those scam schemes, even in legit investment schemes you have to invest your money which goes after your savings. |

Hi everyone, i understand that the global pandemic has caused different economic scenes in the world; but if you are still into crypto currency and bitcoin or you are about giving up on it.

Bitcoin halving is over, just as I predicted there won't be instant bullish market, many thought bitcoin will hit 25k after halving, that's unrealistic expectations, to say the truth bitcoin is stable, meaning one way or the other it will become bullish sooner or later, 10k seems to be the tough level to break but for how long?
Most of the predictions said bitcoin will get dumped soon after the halving which also didn't happen so we are yet going strong even during this pandemic, who knows if covid 19 is not present now, we may expected huge bullish trend. |

Waiting time or the transaction fee should be priority while making any payment.
I don't really think people won't priority for just few minutes but if it is money every cents counts so some people say ethereum is better but we need to know ethereum is cheaper and less used compared to bitcoin so if everyone thins ethereum is better payment option and start sending ethereum at a time which will clog the pool and will increase the fee as well.

I feel like that the forum did merits to get quality post. And the main reason is to limit the amount of people on that rank. Without those merits people can easily become a Hero member in a few months. But because of merits they have to make quality post rather than making average post and getting the same out come. So I feel like trading merits is not ideal maybe even illegal. Because what's the point of selling merits if you will not earn it again?

I had some holding in cryptopia I was searching about status of refund I found in April 2020 New Zealand court has given order to return fund to user .court given verdict stated That the fund which we were holding in exchange belongs to the account holder . It’s been two months after that we dint hear any progress from exchange . What’s happening exactly any body knows even in the cryptopia official Twitter handle dint find anything .
Don't have high hope on it, because once you lost your money to hacker then it lost forever which happened with banks as well but they never returned it.If they keep being silent then it means that is the of cryptopia fund hope which serves a good lesson for all the money holders in every exchange. |

Senior member of this forum, still you didn't know about coinbase? Which is one of the reputed cry[to trading platform but not yet available on every countries. You can make profits if you have trading skills, the platform may not be a cause for your success. |

AFAIK, there is no way to buy stable coins in decentralized exchanges but there is an alternative way for that you have to buy bitcoin on decentralized platforms like Bisq using fiat then convert it bitcoin into stable coin, you may have to fee a little bit extra fee but if you care about your privacy then its worth to pay for it.

There maybe some exceptions on the altcoins but 99.9% will fall at some point when people dump their coins for profits so holding them for longer has more risk but it also can be more profitable if the coin has potential to recover.Maybe in future things will get changed but for now bitcoin rules, other just follows.

Have you ever deposited a currency in one of the sites or exchanges and did not receive the currency in your account. I means that the withdrawal was already done in your first account but did not reach your second account on the other exchange and remained on the network. Is this possible? What can be done?
It happens with my coinbase account too often but it was just due to the bug, soon the balance will get reflected once I close the app or just after an hour later.So it is not possible for your transaction to remain on the network once it was completed unless you deposited into a fake exchange or wallet. |

The term AI bot is little bit misleading because its just another bot, right? Introduction of "Merit" system is really a good idea and its proper implementation can ensure the quality of post. But I think, in some cases this system is being abused. I have seen that a post got 184 merit and even only one person gave 50 merit but I cannot think how that post can be such a high quality post.
