I'm minning this coin since yesterday, and made 4 workers, total of each is less than 50mhs.
Five minutes ago i'm going to the pool, to see my worker, and only one is in the list. impossible to add other which disapeared.
Ok, i think, dev limit each account to one worker, not so bad...
But, when i see my rig with account supposed to be delete in the pool, they continue mining.
SO HERE IS MY QUESTION, WHERE MY RIG MINE IF THE WORKER IS DELETED IN THE POOL?!!!
Not here to FUD, i'm mining this one since beginning, but i really begin to think there was a problem!!!

Workers that were not existent were not submitting any shares to the pool, they were cutoff. Ok, i have a question about the 50mh/S limit.
If i understand, that's 50mh/s by worker, so if i create on the pool 10 different worker, i can have 500mh/s without limit.
Or i can rent multiple rig less then 50mh/s and make a worker for each.
If this, i think that's better to limit 50mh/s by account in the pool, that's finally the same result, we can make multiple account, but more boring to create multiple account than multiple worker imho

So what is the innovation here? Leaguecoin made a tipbot approved by Riot. Any interesting stuff for the community or similar to a tipbot? Not that Blizz will approve something like that..
the limit hash is somethin new at least, and blizzard can't sued you for the word "minerals" come on... No premine. I would like to mine this but not with your pools. Good luck.

In order to avoid potential ASICs and big farms from dominating the coin network there will be no solo mining. |

damn! I just started mining two days ago then POW will stop after 24 hours  need to look for other coins then, since multipool ain't that profitable..... At this time, cloak is one of the more profitable coin |

i'm new to this, can someone pls explain to me what will happen when PoS is over? mining stops? what than? i'm mining cloak and hodling for now, everything about the coin looks good and i wanna be part of this for sure.
When you mine, that's PoW. PoS is interest on your coin. When Pow is finished, mining stops, but you make interest in your wallet with PoS, in proportion on number of coin you have in. |

you can limit it per time, so if a guy with 300 MH/s jump it won't mean other can mine anymore
you can do a 300MH/s limit increase every 1 hour or so
dunno if it's possible just per IP..
Probably the limits will be per worker and not per IP. We are in the processing of testing both of these limitations. Maybe I wasn't clear but the limits will not be global but individual, i.e. network hashrate can still increase and decrease freely but for individual worker there will be a limit how many hashes he/she can send. Also, we might disable betarigs/nicehash and others altogether. That's a fucking good idea miningrigrentals too!! |

not really, it was better if wallet appear at the same moment of source If wallet appears at the same moment of source, the problem is the same : the one who mine with the wallet will be able to miner right away, while the pools won't be able to do... Probably, but when pool launch, not possible to solo mine after. That's not the same thing in the other way. So, no, the problem is not the same. And to be totaly fair, some of the first block (100) should have to been at a lower value. This is not a real problem, I dont understand the popularity for this coin, which brings nothing new |

What setting or bat file do you set to mine solo from the wallet?
This is my example bat. setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

sgminer -k x13mod -o localhost:29661 -u cloakuser -p cloakpass -I 17 -g 4 -w 128 I find this is the best tutorial for solo mining! Hope it helps. what you need to do to solo mine.. *download the wallet. *run it once. you run it once so that the wallet creates a root folder located on the roaming folder. usually found here C:\Users\(your own computer username)\AppData\Roaming\Klondikecoin Note that "appdata" is a hidden folder and you might not see it. you will need to have "show hidden folders" enabled. here is a quick google search http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/articles/INF12729* close it, move it.after you run it once , close it. Then move the wallet and any additional files that were inside it, at the klondikecoin folder as located above. *create the .conf file. in order to solomine you will need to create a configuration file. you can easily do this by creating a .txt file and editing the .txt file and then saving it with .conf . So again: inside the klondikecoin folder. right mouse click--->new--->text document. this will create a text document and will highlight it and it will be in "rename"mode. rename the .txt file as "klondikecoin" then double click it. it should be empty. if not, erase any text in there. then copy paste the .conf info posted by OP in the first page : rpcuser= klondikecoinrpcrpcpassword= somepasswordrpcport= 56679addnode=37.59.28.23 addnode=162.243.255.143 server=1 daemon=1 You can change the user name and password as you want them to be. then save the file by clicking file--->save . Once you saved it as a text click again file--->save as and type : "klondikecoin.conf" at the file name box then select "all files(*)" option from the save as types box. this will save the text file into a configuration file. *open the wallet again *let it synch. meanwhile you can start the next step. *create the batch file. almost like the steps above. create a text document with this running commands inside : setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 cgminer.exe --scrypt -o localhost: 56679 -u klondikecoinrpc -p somepasswordsave this as " klon solomine.bat" file as we did before. you can name it as you wish as long as its saved as .bat file *run it!Once the wallet is fully synched, you can start mining by running this batch file by simply double clicking. again remember few things: every time you edit your .conf file , you must close and then reopen the wallet for it to take effect. you can not run the cgminer .bat file if the ports are not matching you will not finding any blocks unless the wallet is fully synched and the most important one. your wallet needs to be running all the time while you solo mine. you can't solo mine with a closed wallet there is a faster method make a conf and the folder in the romaing, put the conf there and just run the client only want time, this will save you some precious sec. at launch +1 and let the conf open in case of some node needed, and close when ready |
