1261  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit Casino loosing value due to Licensing Ambiguity amongst users on: April 09, 2023, 08:03:07 AM
They might enjoy the services that the casino can provide but being unable to comply with the license requirements of the casino might backfire on them in the long run or worse, could affect their funds in the future. Complying with the licensure requirements is one of the struggles of casinos but we can see their legitimacy and willingness to establish a strong foundation of their casino through it.
Every gambler must always know all the provisions of the casino in advance so that in the future you don't get into trouble.
The implementation of KYC will always be in the casino's TOS so that gamblers can consider everything before registering and playing because most gamblers don't like KYC and when in the future the casino asks for KYC conditions, gamblers will complain and feel the casino is not being honest and fair with them.
Yes, KYC is usually requested because of the license requirements used by casinos and it is normal for casinos to implement them because licenses are also very important for casinos.
We as gamblers must be able to understand and accept this situation so that we ourselves can also play calmly without feeling uncomfortable.
The problem is many aren't ready to look out for this when trying to open a gambling account on the platforms, they always find out later when they won and was asked to pass the KYC verification, the online casinos can't be blamed for this, gamblers are the one that needs to comply with the casino policies.

It is not easy to run a casino in a country with the law, there are a few things a casino must not do and the most delicate one is not asking gamblers for verification, they will be prosecuted for doing that.

KYC requirement is a must for a legal casino to operate in peace.
1262  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie: If trading isn't working for you, buy and hold. on: April 09, 2023, 07:34:35 AM
Trading can be very complicated for newbies and it's not something to be on the rush about, it takes a lot of effort to learn a good working trading strategy, since this is not something you can get over within a month you can just buy and hold Bitcoin, then continue to learn more about trading, you will only need to reduce your loss when trying to trade, the reason why people quit trading easily is because they use a large sum of money to trade, there is no way you will trade and not lose money because the market can be manipulated and the unexpected can also happen.

Trade with what you can afford to lose, if you aren't ready to lose any then invest in Bitcoin and hold, Trading is a short-term means of making money, while holding Bitcoin is a long-term game.
1263  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I get merits on a post. on: April 08, 2023, 04:08:14 PM
You don't need a merit OP, this is your second post on this forum and you are already asking for merits, that's not cool, use your time to learn something on the forum, I will like to know why you come on this forum, I wonder why merit earning seem like your first priority right now, if you want to earn merit you have to keep engaging in some good conversations on the forum and if your contribution is solid enough you will earn a merit or some merits.
1264  Economy / Gambling / Re: Information of Crypto Casinos License and KYC requirements on: April 08, 2023, 03:24:26 PM
As expected, I am just stumbling on this wonderful thread, what well-detailed information, I never knew this is available on this forum, bravo to you OP. This will safe many gamblers from unexpected requirements of KYC verification, many people are complaining about the sudden requirement and so many have misunderstood this and called online casinos a scam for asking for KYC verification after they win some money on the platform. I somehow wished that this thread can be pinned on the very first page of this gambling section. I don't think it will be possible, but if it is, this will safe a lot of time for new gamblers coming on here.
1265  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 08, 2023, 02:37:36 PM
It is normal for a online casino to deny user of their KYC verification if the document they provide is out of date or expired, or if the camera you used to take the picture of the documents needed is not bright enough, I have faced such before and I end up using someone else smartphone, my smartphone camera is very blurry. If you can follow the exact requirement from the casino you won't have any issues and this doesn't mean that the online casino is trying to pull a scamming stunt on the user.

Gamblers who are trying hard to avoid KYC verification should always scroll down on the casino website, the KYC Policy is always at the end of the website, many don't notice this until they are suddenly asked for verification.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: April 07, 2023, 01:39:37 PM
How is pressing a button a skill  Grin I guess there is nothing much about slot games than pushing a button, as a gambler you need to rely on luck more than your skill, if there is no luck in gambling then it's no more a gambling game, this is not beat em up or mortal combat where players rely entirely on skills.

Gambling is mostly about luck, which is why you should play only with money that you can lose. There is always a high possibility of losing the game even if you are very smart. This is a casino after all, so don't play with too much money.
1267  Bitcoin / Mining / What will you do if you have a high mining hashrate on: April 07, 2023, 12:35:42 PM
Are there still mining pools that giver miners bonuses for contributing a large amount of hash power to their pool today? I noticed that this was available in 2021 when mining Bitcoin was very profitable, I'm not so sure, or they are able to do that because of the market situation.

Would you prefer to use a new Bitcoin mining pool instead of the well known pools if you have a large amount of hashrate? I read you can easily make more Sats using a pool with less hahshrate, can someone confirm this?

I will also appreciate if you can tell me the best pool for your Asic miner right now. Thanks
1268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Basic things beginners should know before investing in cryptocurrency. on: April 07, 2023, 11:12:49 AM
The only place you need to have some respect for the word reputation is if the platform is safe to trade and withdraw your money, don't play the reputation game by leaving your funds on any exchange, there is no reputation when it comes to money, anything can happen to any cryptocurrency exchange at any time. The most trusted people can have the cruelest darkest secrets, once you are done with trading on any crypto exchange withdraw your funds back into your crypto wallet that you own the private key.

Newbies only ask questions after they have messed things up, if all newbies can ask questions before making an attempt many would have been safe from scammers, some newbies like using less popular exchanges, I can't figure out where they get such idea from
1269  Economy / Gambling / Re: Metaspins.com - Crypto casino - 100% Up To 1 Bitcoin On Your First Deposit on: April 07, 2023, 10:19:40 AM
This is the first time I will visit the Metaspin website and I like what I saw, after promoting sherbet for some time I have grown to like spin game on the platform, I will like to give Metaspin a try but I think it's wise to ask if KYC requirement is available on Metaspin platform too, I don't have anything against KYC but I will like to know and prepare myself for what may happen, the sudden surprise of requirement thus days has been shocking so far.
1270  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🛑 Sherbet.com - #1 Social Casino - 75 No-Dep FREE Spins - $500 Deposit Bonus 🤑 on: April 07, 2023, 09:32:58 AM
The KYC policy here is amonst the strictest i've ever come across. They are requesting KYC from me over a $160 withdrawal, this wasn't even a profit from a bonus or anything (I already lost the bonus and made a clean deposit).

I dont mind completing this kind of process for a large withdrawal but it's a hassle for users when applied to such small amounts.
Honestly, it will get to a stage where I will have to start advising people to stay away from online casinos if they can't pass KYC, you have no clue why KYC is a must for gamblers, so do yourself this favor, if you can do diligent research on why KYC is a must you will care less about all these declarations you are talking about, you want the best for yourself that's why you are gambling on sherbet if you want the best for Sherbet, they have to request for KYC verification, it's not as if they are going to sell your identity or something, all I request is to understand why KYC is compulsory for online casinos.

Don't put them in trouble because you want to withdraw $ 160 from the platform, just do as you are been told and later you can start avoiding gambling platforms all together, if you hate KYC this much you will be disappointed even if you start using another gambling platform.
1271  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Btc mining or staking crypto? on: April 06, 2023, 10:29:00 AM
Both are good options if your target is Bitcoin, not all those shit altcoins that can go to zero while keeping them for a long-term hold. You really can't stake Bitcoin unless you plan to use rBTC or other. If you want to mine Bitcoin you will need an Asic miner, but before looking for an Asic miner it is better to check out your cost of electricity per month, no cheap electricity? No good reason to buy an Asic miner and start mining, Asic miners takes up to 3500 watts and that's a lot.

Spend more time on how much you paying for the electricity bill, if it's cheap then buy an Asic miner, if it's not, it's better to DCA into Bitcoin.

Find a good mining calculator online, go to whattomine.com
1272  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: April 06, 2023, 08:38:53 AM
It's not everything that's well planned will end up working out exactly how you dreamt it, when we make something happen we always think it's by our capability and will, but we have forgotten that someone up there is the one that holds the key to every door, no one can question HIM if he says that your time is up, we all want the good times of life but heaven has it's the way with us, so OP does not blame anyone that's in a very bad situation, it doesn't mean they played with their time, it doesn't mean that they are lazy, it doesn't mean that they never had a good plan for their future.

No matter how big your plan is, if heaven says no, no one can say yes, this is why we need to be prayerful whenever we have a goal we are pursuing, pray that things go our way, if it things end up going your way, never feel it's your power that makes it happen, be thankful.
1273  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some scams that can be avoided that people failed to check!!! on: April 05, 2023, 10:02:42 AM
Great list, of which every Newbie should be aware of.
Scammers are criminal idiots trying to take advantage from uneducated and greedy people. So, education is already an important step to avoid such scams. And your list is a good compilation of common scam attempts.

I would also avoid MLM-scams / ponzi scams, see also my topic MLM - a dangerous marketing stratgy

MLM is scam in most cases and extremely likely to be unprofitable / a fail in almost (99.9%) all cases.  Wink
I won't call scammers idiots, they are so smart than many crypto investors that's why they can deceive and trick them, investors need to be as smart as these scammers to be able to avoid their traps completely, it's a pity that many new crypto investors comes into the space with no single knowledge about crypto and they have to learn from scratch, this is why those scammers are never going to go out of business any time sooner.

Since all new crypto investors need to begin their journey front the start, they will make so many mistakes along the way, it is inevitable.
1274  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What can be the best way of controlling emotions while trading ? on: April 05, 2023, 09:08:30 AM
There is no better way than to remain focused and follow your mind, this is an act of disciple, many people tend to become weak even after learning all basics of trading, they lose focus and become vulnerable to wrong callings, you can't beat your emotions but you can stay one step ahead of your emotions, the only way to stay one step ahead is to focus on what you do and when winning keeps rolling in, do not get distracted.

Be Confident.

Always Focus.

Remain Disciplined.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Why do new online casinos struggle? on: April 05, 2023, 08:00:48 AM
Which one do you think is better and has more healthy growth for a new online casino?

Is it better for a new casino to take their time very slow with their project for the time being to be able to raise some money first and only attract users with banners and small advertisements?

Or a new casino project should go all in on doing advertisements starting from their launch date with everything they've got?

Why do new online casinos struggle? A Few I knew are not doing fine and they had to put an end to their advertising campaigns.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to gamble on: April 05, 2023, 07:28:28 AM
The best time to gamble is when you feel like, gambling is partly spiritual, and sometimes if you listen to the calling you will get lucky, if you fail to take your profit and leave, your good luck will turn to bad luck, so do not be to greedy when gambling, always know when to take your leave. People have dreamt about lucky numbers and they place bets and end up winning, they listened to the calling, and good fortune can appear to you in form of a dream too.

Now gambling is very easy, thanks to the existence of the internet and smartphones, anyone can gamble online at any time they feel like, so many upcoming sports games have the time that the match or game will start, if you have your own plan to place a bet the game would be long start without you.

There is no perfect time to gamble, the ball is in your court.
1277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ? on: April 05, 2023, 06:52:01 AM
Why does anyone need to confuse people to buy Bitcoin? Even if they manage to buy Bitcoin they will lose interest as time goes on because they don't even know what Bitcoin is all about, and such people will dump in a very short period of time. New investors need to develop an interest in Bitcoin themselves first before they will be capable of accumulating Bitcoin and decide to hold for a long period, those confused won't be able to do the same because they never had any interest in Bitcoin, they where confused.

Yiu don't need to confuse anyone to invest on Bitcoin, tell them to read about Bitcoin and tell them the advantage of Bitcoin, if they develop interest, fine, if they don't, you lose nothing.
1278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Attempting to help some underprivileged through Bitcoin on: April 04, 2023, 11:13:53 AM
I don't see how you planned to help these people using Bitcoin, all I read is about fasting period and helping Muslims, you never made mentioned using Bitcoin to help them. You called yourself a very little person, do you mean the financial side? If you are still struggling I will advise you to keep working on yourself, do not go out of your boundary because you feel like you should help them.

The sad truth is there will always be people who are in need, and poverty can't be erased from the surface of the earth, if you think this is a lie you will go broke yourself and become like them. If you want to be a great helper of people, work on yourself and make sure you are in good shape first, you can't be making less and your own life is looking miserable and you want to help others, help yourself first.

Do your best that's within your limit today, for Ramadan's sake, and leave the rest, there is always a tomorrow, you can still help them more in the future, but only if you are in good shape financially.
1279  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: April 04, 2023, 08:02:41 AM
btc365 now its scamming site, they blocked 90% accounts , so I'm looking for something similar
I still don't understand why newbies come on here looking for trusted online casinos but end up using online casinos with ruined reputations or scam past histories, why are you even trying to use this website called btc365 when there are many good online casinos on this forum? We wear strong online casinos signatures because of people like you, there is DuelBits, Roobet, Rollbit, and many more that give satisfying services to their customers, if KYC verification is what you are trying to avoid well it's not going to favor much because the biggest online casinos ask for KYC verification to keep their business out of trouble from the authorities.
1280  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trade like Robot (Robot doesn't have emotions) on: April 04, 2023, 06:32:28 AM
You can always try to trade like a robot but wait till you make huge money from pretending to be a Robot, the human in you will wake up from sleep instantly, the excitement and the joy will be overwhelming and if you aren't back in your Robo state again you will mess up, the truth is you can't pretend to be a Robot no matter how hard to try, even if you pass at the very beginning you will still fail to be a Robot.

Instead of trying harder to be a Robot, learn how to use AI for crypto trading, some are using AI to trade and the emotional side is lower compared to you doing the trades yourself.
