1261  Economy / Economics / Re: Pay discrimination on: December 18, 2023, 08:05:26 AM
Should there be market correction done for skilled labors?

Some will say that an white collar employee is more mentally drained out hence they deserve better pay but people who do menial job stop working the world will just rot as everything cannot be done but robots and AI.
blue collar are just as mentally drained but just in different perspective you can imagine going out to do work and get condescending remark from some random even from the one that used the service, its mentally exhausting deaing with some random people. not to mention the fact that they are paid less for doing hard work, many underestimate the job of blue collar but nobody want to do it because they know how hard this can be sometime and also the salary is small.

even more so with the fact that some people out there just got that simple minded thinking, that are detached from reality where the fact that they are living leisurely, is thanks to these blue collar worker that did the dirty job for them, they should be respectful with these people because without them they surely are the one that gonna be doing the dirty job moreover, the fact that they mostly got underpaid should be a problem aside from the disrespect that they got but nah some people think its their privilege to disrespect those worker, but I do agree that its more of societal problem.

I think these blue collar worker deserve a raise tbh.

Aligned, but guess what's more alarming? People are saying that people get paid based on the business and revenue they bring and thus justify white collar jobs getting paid more than blue collar and at the same time they are worried as well that if the blue collar will get paid in par with white collar then the white collar will get demotivated and some are saying if they get paid in par with white collar and if they decide doing blue collar jobs then what will happen who will do their jobs.

This just shows our sick mentality we are saying they don't deserve pay scale which white collar gets and at the same time we are worried who will do their job if they earn more and quit. This is the real problem we have already classified then as downtrodden which is the harsh reality.

People need to change their mindset and everyone deserve pay as per their efforts and hardwork.
1262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You must have a source on: December 17, 2023, 07:25:01 PM
That's the most vulnerable situation anyone could get into, I have been in such situations and guess what, I had to sell at lower price when I knew price will shot up and I have sold coins like CHZ, CHR which were at the booming stage and as soon as I sold it it increase by over 8X especially CHZ, Same thing happened with BNB as well.

We don't have any other option when it's drilled down to the basic necessity and survival. It's always better to have multiple source of income so that our investment is not hampered. That's the moment I planned on having a separate investment plan and a saving plan so that I could use saving in case of emergency instead of investing everything and then breaking using it when the need arises.
1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ethereum be profitable anytime in the future? on: December 17, 2023, 05:53:04 PM
It would surely be worth hodling ETH until the bull run even I have come ETH saved and it's been a while but couldn't sell it off as I am yet to achieve the breakeven since I bought some during the peak of bull run, anything above $5k will make ETH portfolio profitable. But I am waiting for ETH to break it's previous ATH as I have hodled it for a while hence wanted to ensure I get the maximum benefit out of it.
1264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange to start trading? on: December 17, 2023, 03:55:50 PM
There are DEX and CEX but if you are new for trading then I would refer you to any of the centralized exchanges like Binance as it has much better user interface than decentralized exchanges as it's easier to navigate but if you are not comfortable providing KYC then go for DEX which would not have as much as liquidity as CEX.

Before entering trading regardless of exchange you choose you need to learn the basic of trading and have a proper knowledge because there are lot of people enter trading without knowledge and end up losing, some feels that they should have just hodled instead of losing in trading.
1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects for investment on: December 17, 2023, 11:56:19 AM
Most of the projects especially top altcoins started the same way but it's not easy to bet on such projects at the initial stage especially nowadays wherein the market is filled with scammers and hype. I am practically not in a state to predict or pick on projects which will boom and I don't think anyone will be able to do that and if one claims then they are just trying to fool us. If by project promises listing in big exchanges like Binance and have a consent from exchange then we can bet on them.
1266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc dump to 39600 on: December 17, 2023, 11:16:07 AM
it's not a big deal as fluctuations are the only thing which is permanent when it comes to crypto, we had seen similar dip last week and this week the price did recovered and I don't think we will see any massive dump though going below $40000 is pretty much possible and we may see this multiple times until the halving.

I just hope people don't start fud on this forcing investors to panic sell.
1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin as digital currency on: December 17, 2023, 10:40:01 AM
Some government do because they are corrupt and they don't want to take chances wherein they may lose financial control as Bitcoin is all about financial freedom and no involvement from third parties.

But I didn't quite understand what are you trying to say in second half of your quote and how is it even have to do anything with Bitcoin, why are you relating working hard with Bitcoin? I understand we need money to invest or buy Bitcoin but there are people who work even harder but don't bother investing into Bitcoin, so I would say it's more of knowledge and smart move that plays a role here.
1268  Local / India / Re: Can we avoid tax on crypto trading in india on: December 17, 2023, 09:44:31 AM
As I am a newbie in this crypto trading industry and know bit about crypto trading and truly wanted to make money through crypto trading, but as I live in india and begin an Indian citizen, we need to pay 30% tax and 1% TDS on each profit we make even on $0.1 dollar of profit we have to pay tax without any kind of set off and if we try to avoid paying tax to government they will take strict action against us.

So I just wanted to know is there any possible way to avoid tax on crypto trading in india any kind of process through which we can trade cryptos and avoid tax on trading Crypto because the if we pay 30% tax it's almost 1/3(One third) of our profit and if government ask for less tax we could have pay happily bus 30% tax is alot.

Please help I am unable to find any way through out internet and really wanted to start the crypto journey

I would not suggest you to avoid tax unless you want to get into legal troubles. The only way to avoid tax is to trade your Bitcoin for cash. But in reality it is extremely difficult to find a trustworth be trader who would do that for you. Also if you want to trade smaller amounts then cash trading might be beneficial for you. But for big amounts, cast trading is not at all recommended.

So instead of finding other route to avoid tax, try to pay it and stand at the right side with the law.

I understand the consequence of avoiding tax but If you are in India and pay 30% tax and 1% TDS on every single trade then  no one would be able to make even a single penny but rather end up paying taxes without any income. Indian government has just killed crypto industry in India and Indian exchanges as well.
1269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who lost money due to dogecoin? on: December 17, 2023, 08:54:55 AM
I have had mixed experience with Doge but I was aware like most of the members who has been in this industry for a while that Doge coin is nothing just a meme and got the craze because of Elon Musk's manipulation and it was supposed to end someday and it happened quicker than expected and lot of people lost huge amount of money. I would say this coin has nothing to offer and popularized by Elon and it went down with him, unless there are any major by him and steps taken to include Doge in his project's ecosystem which looks very unlikely. Eventually this coin will vanish.
1270  Economy / Economics / Re: My view of wealth and assets specially now on: December 17, 2023, 07:19:03 AM
Couple of my observations where I am aligned with your thoughts and not aligned:

1. Gold will always remain most trusted source as it's there for centuries and will continue to remain. The only challenge is the storage and security If you are holding physical gold. We have Sovereign Gold  and this is better option as you get little annual returns as well. Gold may not be in par with inflation but it is certainly most safest investment.

2. I strongly disagree with your views on real estate. It gives you a place to stay, you can rent it out, collaborate with builders or business. It gives you multiple stream of income.
1271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I finally sold my computer and bought bitcoin. I don't regret . on: December 17, 2023, 06:41:31 AM
As this was a spare one and you still have another one to keep you updated and stay connected online I would say this is a good move as the value of Bitcoin will have appreciation wherein laptop or any other electronics will only have depreciation in it's value.

Until we have a backup we can do this but not foolish decisions like you have only one laptop but sold it for BTC.

Now, just hodl it until the peak of Bullrun which is speculated post halving in couple of months. It's more difficult to hodl BTC than acquiring one.
1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is cutting some XRP and ADA products on: December 16, 2023, 10:09:55 PM
This would be disastrous news and not sure the motive behind this sudden move, had it been some other low liquidity coins we could have understood but XRP and ADA? Not sure about the exact reason but this will eventually lead to removal of these cryptos from Binance but there should be an strong reason to justify this.

Lately Binance has been in news for non so good reason and now removal of these pairs which may not benefit anyone. Are we witnessing downfall of Binance?
1273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Relationship between charts and follow up 📊 on: December 16, 2023, 08:47:44 PM
In the crypto markets, charts serve as vital tools for investors to navigate probable outcomes by means of visual representations of price movements, which provides insights into trends and potential entry/exit points.
However, effective follow-up is the main key to successful.
Monitoring chart patterns alone is insufficient; timely follow-up ensures informed decision making.
So as investors/Traders that we are, we  have to stay informed of market news,  shifts, and global events influencing cryptocurrencies. The synergy between charts and proactive follow-up empowers investors to adapt swiftly, maximizing opportunities and mitigating risks In the crypto landscape. So let us delve into this harmonious relationship between technical analysis and vigilant follow-up because this is the  cornerstone of a successfully and strategic investment/trading system.

Monitoring chart pattern has never been effective and no traders/investors cash in their money using just the chart or patterns rather there are other things to be considered before investing like backtesting the data based on the trends and other events surrounding crypto which may have impact on it. Because just by going through chart is like investing in any shit coins as we have observed positive trend for FTT and USTC or LUNC recently but we know these are abandoned project and regardless of chart or pattern they will fail. Better to create a correlation between charts, technical analysis, backtesting of data and news surrounding cyrpo.
1274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Unknown fact our profitable colleagues won't tell us on: December 16, 2023, 07:33:35 PM
There are different strategies implemented by traders and I don't think 1:3 ratio will be of any good, there is a huge difference between writing stuffs about trading and actually trading and following it. I don't believe in this ratio rather I believe in my own rules which I have set for trading which is a mix of multiple trades with small profits instead of waiting for one big trade. I know most of the traders don't prefer multiple trades of small profit but it has worked well for me.
1275  Economy / Economics / Re: Pay discrimination on: December 16, 2023, 07:06:49 PM
I have personally thought about this topic in the past. And to be honest, I am not sure on where I exactly stand.
I believe that indeed people who do manual labor should be appreciated and respected by their bosses and provide a good salary for them to develop their life as human beings, in a decent way.
On the other hand, those how go to college and learn a second language are more paid for the same bosses of those manual workers, and there comes the collision of ideas.

If the government and the private sector started to pay the same to all of the type of employees or increased the salary of those who do manual labor, then those who are white collar and educated workers would be discouraged to work, even students may feel discouraged to go to college and instead get right into do manual works, because they would get enough money, in their opinion.

Even though, I think Ai and the use of robots to replace much of the labor force is an idea which is gaining force with each year that passes, societies on the planet should get and enforce a set of rules so millions of people won't get unemployed at the same time and rates of crime start to rise out of control in developed countries.

I vouch your thoughts as everyone should be appreciated for the work and shouldn't looked downwards because of their profession. I work for an Ecommerce giant wherein forget about blue collar workers but there is a differentiation between FTE (Full time employee) aka employees' on company's payroll and the contracted third part employees (HRO) as they are deprived of so many facilities and benefits which we enjoy though we do similar tasks.

I know this is a vast topic where people will have different opinion as I have already seen in the replies to my topic but there should be a fair practice.
1276  Economy / Economics / Pay discrimination on: December 16, 2023, 06:01:46 PM
There has always been a huge difference in the pay scale between the white collar jobs and blue collar or skilled labor wherein the later one put in more effort physically and do more hardwork than the earlier one.

Should there be market correction done for skilled labors?

Some will say that an white collar employee is more mentally drained out hence they deserve better pay but people who do menial job stop working the world will just rot as everything cannot be done but robots and AI.

It's sometimes sad to see how they are treated disrespectfully, be it a waiter, delivery workers, cab drivers, carpenter, or construction workers as they are the pillars and without them things will start falling apart. I know some of these can be automated but not everything.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Retik finance? Anyone has seen it? on: December 16, 2023, 05:32:19 PM
There has been a huge hype about this coin in social media and I have seen some adverts about the same, I know it's too early to speculate anything but there has been wide speculation that this would grow like Pepe coin. However, it's better we do our own research as it's at the second stage of presale. I would personally be doing more research on it and If satisfied then would go for it with a minimal amount like $50 or so as we are approaching bull run so we may see some coins turning out to be heavily profitable. This time I would try either this coins or some other coin at the presale level.
1278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't give attention to unsolicited DM with link to claim a reward. on: December 16, 2023, 05:00:15 PM
This has been happening for a very long time and I don't think most of us who are well versed with online scams will even bother opening these messages but some might wonder if you are not a part of any telegram group then how did these scammer even get through your DM. There are lot of ways which scammers can use and we have even seen some scammers checking the bounty spreadsheet for telegram username and imposture themselves as admin and share such links where people often fall for scam. We need to understand that no one pays $10 or even $1 for free. If something is free then you are the product.
1279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best piece of advice to anyone going into bitcoin on: December 16, 2023, 02:32:34 PM
This has been discussed in the forum a lot and it's DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) and that's what I have been doing for a while and trust me the outcome on longer run is amazing as you never feel any stress because it's just like your PF which you would be investing. But still there are so many people who don't use this methodology and I believe whoever don't believe in DCA are here only for gamble. People lose money only because they want quick gains which leads to either quick gain (which is eventually lost due to greed) or losing it all.
1280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goverment try to take advange over instabilty in prices of stable coins on: December 16, 2023, 10:32:14 AM
This will definitely have impact on existing stable coins because we he already been skeptical about the stablecoins and I think I would definitely go with CBDC instead of stable coin because anyway both are eventually centralized at the end of the day and CBDC will have advantage over USDT/USDC and atleast it wouldn't disappear from market. I know both CBDC and Stablecoins don't hold real asset to back up their supply but we have no other option if we have to go for stablecoin.
