1261  Economy / Economics / Re: I bought Apple stock because iPhones are garbage. on: April 30, 2023, 10:02:41 AM
I did the same few years back, I was using an android 5.0 at the time and the new Iphone was trending at the time, people around me start telling me that I am missing a lot by not using an iPhone.

Stupid of me, I sold my current phone and went to buy an iPhone, it doesn't take me two weeks before I sold because it's so annoying to me, battery life sucks that you will have to carry an extra power bank around with you, web browser is pretty good, gives the vine of a laptop on a smaller screen but it's not comparable to android capabilities, it's not even close.

IPhone is a great phone for those who are less into tech, I can run some codes on Android easily and there are many useful tools available for android, this is a big difference for me, I have come onto the conclusion that iPhone is just for show, it's nothing but selling names.
1262  Economy / Gambling / Re: A reminder for gamblers to avoid FortuneJack (ongoing lawsuit, 120k usd stolen) on: April 29, 2023, 08:43:07 AM
I feel so bad about how people come out boldly to talk ill about the business of another and from the look of things, it seems you were paid to do or make this post against fortunejack and these were just assumptions by myself and there is no way you should come up with an account with two red trust and expect people to believe the things you say without any prove of evidence and still think so full of yourself.

If you truly want to help people pass a helping information and a very important information like this, then you should also do well to show evidence of the things you've said so far and I'm sorry if this rumor aren't true, I'm sure your account might earn more red trust from this post.
Try to look on what link he had given on OP which is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5368279.0
So you could see that its been merited by LoyceV which i could say that he had proven out some considerable proof.

Seeing on the link given it was indeed already 2 years ago but it turns out to be still that unresolved? Some users stating that this issue might have that private
settlement or we arent really know that its been resolved already. This is why then it would really be none of our business but its
really that good if this one had been clarified out and closed this case or issue completely but it seems we aren't that going to that point.
This person is bold for creating another thread, he can't say he never got any answer from Fortune Jack team all this while, I guess he is mad still about the loss, at first I thought someone must have paid him to ruin FortuneJack's name but that's not looking like it.

I have checked the other thread that LoyceV merited, and anyone can do the same thing, a merited post can be merited for many reasons, and most times I have seen false claims getting merited, the OP showed proof of the gambling account and that's great to be honest, anyone could have send that a merit.

But the fact is Fortune Jack is against duplicate Betting, it's on their ToS and I believe that's why they cancel OP's game even when he won, it is invalid because he broke the rules.
1263  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best non Kyc exchange on: April 29, 2023, 07:43:19 AM
Just go for decentralized exchnages (DeX) , most centralized exchnages with no KYC have limited buy order per day unless you are sure you won't reach the threshold, maybe you want to buy max of 1000$ crypto per day then it's fine, the best-decentralized exchange that I like using most of the time is

1. GMX.IO < This dex reduces the risk present in liquidation and save transaction costs with simple swap features, very easy for any newbie to use.

Or

2. Gains.Trade < This one is based on layer 2 with fast order trading and minimal gas fee, pretty identical to GMX and it's very easy to understand for any newbies as well.

These exchanges are better than any centralized exchanges in the crypto space, there is no need to leave your coins on the platform since you will be trading for your wallet direct, and there is no need for any KYC verification.
1264  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: April 29, 2023, 06:36:08 AM
Nice thread, it's very hard to see gambling projects making such a thread ro ask members of the forum about how they feel and what type of bonuses they want from a gambling platform per week or monthly.

Most bonuses from many gambling platforms always come with you doing something before qualifying for the bonuses and that's fine by me, gone are the days where all you will be asked to do is simple deposits but since gamblers will click on the withdrawal in no time it doesn't make any sense and that's something close to cheating, so OP bonus is a bonus, whichever way you want it is how your customers will take it.
1265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take good care of yourselves on: April 29, 2023, 05:23:02 AM

But I feel wrong about saying that the government can kill bitcoin? in what way and how? The view that lies in me is that bitcoin will never die if electricity and the internet are still used on this earth.

It is still possible that the government will kill bitcoin, if all governments join forces against it. If they did, it would be very simple to destroy bitcoin, but the bitcoin problem is not a threat as serious as terrorism that they have to find a way to destroy it. So the possibility of that is almost non-existent, countries will be for their own benefit, so if bitcoin is beneficial, there are still countries that use it.
All governments around the world can not come together to destroy Bitcoin, some countries are really benefiting from Bitcoin and they plan to always support Bitcoin, in some parts of the world, the government has realized how life-changing Bitcoin has brought for its people since they can't provide enough jobs for all the people in the country, they are now advising people to be tech-savvy, and focus on blockchain technology.

Things will get better as time goes on, those who are banning Bitcoin should continue, it's a matter of time before they will realize what they have been missing all this while, those who embraced Bitcoin are not stupid, they are just smarter and they understand the benefits that comes from the blockchain technology.
1266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Satoshi is eventually ID by the government on: April 27, 2023, 07:23:30 AM
The mastermind behind Bitcoin knew that Bitcoin will fight against the rules of the government, decentralization must be carried out in a way where you think about all the possibilities that the government can use to get to you.

This was planned out before Bitcoin was launched, he is a wise man who saw it all coming, he was well prepared, that's why he is the Ghost, I doubt that his real name is even Satoshi Nakamoto, that's Japanese name right? Don't worry about his identity, it's going to the grave with Nakamoto.

For the fact that we have seen few imposters in the past years, fake Satoshis claiming they are the real one, it means that anyone can pretend to be the rea Satoshi Nakamoto, this makes it more harder to tell what's real and what's not, I kinda like this because the confusion alone is enough to make the investigation worthless.
1267  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is something big happening behind the scenes that no one is talking about? on: April 27, 2023, 06:07:45 AM
There is no business that does well in a recession, the offline or online recession is capable of affecting every business, and the best way to limit their cost is by letting some workers go, it happens in every recession period, jobs will be open once the recession is over.

@LearnBitcoin, what makes you think that the casino industry is smaller? I don't believe this, have you ever been to Macao? Or Las Vegas? Those people can fund a whole nation with the money they making from Casino gambling.

I have once heard that those Casinos are functioning because they are beneficial to the government in each countries, the government can easily get rid of all Casinos but the benefit of Casinos in a country is very big and only limited people knows this.

You can never find any information about how much these casino are paying the government, just to run their businesses in the country, believe me they are paying a lot.
1268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: save seed phrase in song. on: April 26, 2023, 10:25:05 AM
Brilliant, because it looks like you will become a great novelist some day, and stupid, because you using crypto seed phrase, how is that a song anyway? This days that are so desperate with everything they do, I have seen people guessing seed phrases and putting them together hoping they get into someone's crypto wallet. Thanks for giving them this clue, now they can go buy novel books and start inserting words themselves.

I have in no way stored my recovery seed online, thinking it's safe, it's a bad practice, I would rather find a book and write down my recovery phrases and keep the book safe, if you don't have money for a hardware wallet it's better to get a book and write down your seed phrase.
1269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: April 26, 2023, 08:19:43 AM
m2017 investing in altcoins can't be compared to gambling online, unless the investor decide to gamble on the project without doing their own research, I remember someone closed to me investing in Matic only, he said the project has potential, and this turned him into a millionaire, what potential is in gambling than gambling?

We invest in crypto projects because of their utility and the problems they solve in crypto space, there is no such thing with gambling, it's a complete dark out. I have my stories with altcoins but it get better when I can tell a difference between a scam project and one that has the potential, I can't do this with gambling on a casino.

The chances of making it big with altcoins are bigger and better than walking into a casino to gamble, I remember choosing GALA at 0.004$ and PYR at 0.90$ in 2020, they have all time high of 1$ and 40$, if you know what you are getting into you already have power over it, gambling is a world full of darkness and you have to move from one place to another.
1270  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a web3 casino for you? on: April 26, 2023, 07:00:22 AM
Web3 casinos operate on web3 technology in a way that punters connect their noncustodial wallet to a gambling site in a way that payments are settled on blockchain, unlike the deposit and withdraw on centralized casinos.
It's the same way as connecting your wallet to a platform and all your funds are been wiped off, what is decentralization in this? Any platform can do this today if the dev decides to do it this way, this is not any decentralization, imagine saying that Bitcoin is not decentralized because there is no way to connect your Bitcoin wallet to the Bitcoin website.

Connecting your wallet for swap or trade on any platform is not a form of decentralization, let's stop deceiving ourselves, you can run a code and make this running in minutes.
1271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto (btc) is not for the weak on: April 26, 2023, 06:11:45 AM
This shows the difference between a bear market and a bull market, it's like making 10,000$ with 200$ and not taking profits in a bull market, and that money turned into 100$ in a bear market, this is normal and it always happens in every cycle between bull season and bear season.

When a bull market is around the corner, money always finds its way into the crypto market, so people will exit the market after taking profits. Crypto exchanges become richer as more money is invested in crypto.

The case with FTX and the other with 0$ is different, they messed things up themselves, if FTX was clean, right now the exchange will still be running, maybe with a few billion dollars, but every investors must abandon any crypto exchange that's caught in a scam situation.
1272  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: April 25, 2023, 08:12:43 AM
The only reason why someone will look for a gambling platform alternative is because their winning chances are getting smaller every day, it shows they have no luck on the casino anymore, and I am not against this, if a casino is not working in your favor you have every right to look for another, do not get too attached and believe that it's just you having bad lucky over and over again.

I have done this and it worked for me, I was gambling on a online casino that I found on this forum and I started liking the casino because of the design and stuff, also because of how things works so well on this platform, the games and customer service are good, I was welcome with good amount of winnings, later I started losing and losing, this goes on for weeks and I was about to give up on gambling for good but my mind tell me to find another and sign up, which I did, then the result was different.
1273  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you ever be afraid of holding? on: April 25, 2023, 07:04:50 AM
If you are afraid of holding your coins for the long term because of price volatility then it's possible that you are not sure of the coins you purchased or you invested the money you are not ready to lose. Crypto investment is risky and that's why investing money you are ready to lose is the best way, when price actions behave like it always do, you won't be bothered. So which one?

Fear, Uncertainty, Panic selling, and tired of holding, all these are my former ways of handling crypto assets, I knew how to pick the right projects but my lack of patience made me lose wonderful opportunities, to become rich.

Try using the money you are ready to lose, do good research on the projects very well, and make sure you gain confidence in doing so, your confidence will come if you are positive about the project. If you are doubting then do not invest. Holding for the long term brings better ROI for investors than taking short profits, if you can do it you are already a winner.
1274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will never own a whole Bitcoin and that's okay on: April 25, 2023, 06:05:40 AM
Those who are selling their stuff to buy Bitcoin are not doing it because of desperation and it doesn't mean they can't afford it, most of them did it because they can afford it, there is a bus driver on YouTube that got rich with crypto in 2017, till date he still sells a few of his cars, Lamborghini and others to buy Bitcoin back, in every Bear market he said.

Bitcoin has never failed to amuse us, if you can sell your stuff to get one Bitcoin and by a year and a half Bitcoin turns to 100k you will be able to buy back your stuff and have many profits left that you can use to change your life. I know it's not a good strategy for many people but it's worth the risk.

My father built his house in 1991 and today the house is not in a very good shape, we the children keep spending money on the house to make it retain its old strong shape, it costs us a lot to renovate, what I am trying to say is properties appreciates over time, the worn out as time goes on, even if you build for business sake, most of the money is going for amendment of the house or property.

1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There are many advantages to the relationship between gambling and Bitcoin. on: April 24, 2023, 10:51:06 AM
Sending Bitcoin from a wallet to another is what decentralized really is, not sending Bitcoin from your wallet to a online gambling platform that's licensed by the Law, the decentralized feature is automatically deactivated doing this. Once you sent your Bitcoin to a gambling platform it's no more privacy and security like you said OP, do you even know why a gambling casino must pass regulation?

They are under the watch of centralized power, they don't want anyone using gambling platform for any illegal activities, its the same reason some gambling platforms are asking for KYC verification,it'ss almost all available online casinos asking for KYC verification.
1276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Benefits of Bitcoins recent price drop on: April 24, 2023, 09:05:11 AM
It's nothing but a shake out, this shake out is necessary because of weak hands, and some are saying that Bitcoin is going back to 15,000$, it sounds scary and possible but I am not bothered because every down fall of Bitcoin is a new opportunity, if your goal is 80k to 100k per Bitcoin its a good opportunity for you to keep accumulating. It won't matter if you are buying at 25,000$ or 15,000$, if your goal is a new all time high from Bitcoin do not stop buying.

Many people lose their cool once bitcoin start losing value, if you don't accept this as the normal thing you will always be in a panic and you may end up taking profits too early or even selling for a loss, Bitcoin market is not for weak people, and weak people in crypto space are those that failed to understand how Bitcoin works. Whatever the case might be, always plan for a long-term hold, a bear market will come to an end when the time is right.

When my portfolio goes down 20%, I always get affected, and this has led me to make some stupid decisions that I end up regretting. The first mistake I made as a crypto investor was fear of losing money. Do not make the same mistake, holding is the best way to grow your portfolio.
1277  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: April 24, 2023, 08:27:57 AM
Good customer service can increase the casino's rating and become one of the most popular and trusted casinos, so it is hoped that the casino can become big too.

But maybe the casino has its considerations in using AI support services and maybe to reduce the cost factor of hiring support personnel previously used by casinos. And the difference between using people as service agents and AI is that users can get answers directly and talk directly to those agents to get satisfactory answers.

Can AI understand and resolve the gambler's problems? I do not think so. Yes, by using Artificial Intelligence bots they can increase their response time but the AI won't be able to resolve the queries. It can be used to create tickets etc.
The AI chatbot can then forward the customer's queries to real service agents who can resolve people's issues.

I would say that customer care and support should be the main focus of the casino and they can use a mixture of AI and humans to cater to the needs of the gambling casinos.
In fact, casinos that use AI as a fast response support service will not be separated from the original support team, of course the casino has considered all of that.
So that the comfort of customers is maintained peacefully and proudly when the casino uses mixing AI with genuine service support that quickly overcomes all problems experienced.
It's very rare for a casino to just put AI in customer support without mixing in from a genuine customer support team

Take it or leave it, AI will be more advanced and more capable to handle customers services in the future, if you are aware of the capability of the new AI projects on the blockchain right now you will know that chatGPT is already far behind, Today, AI can help find someone, make decisions for traders, help them build crypto portfolio, make some trades from your wallet, etc. Are you not impressed yet? Cause I am, as things keep getting interesting with crypto and blockchain I believe that AI will have it's place too.
1278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To Trustwallet users. Vulnerability. Repayment. on: April 24, 2023, 07:45:25 AM
Stop talking about this already, this hack happens because it's a browser extension, I have always warned people about browser extensions, they are more vulnerable to attacks than main crypto wallet.

And since the Trust wallet team is aware of this, they take responsibility and reimburse all those affected, this is another reason why I like everything about Binance, reputation means a lot to them.

It's true that hot wallets are the safer option but I will still keep using trust wallet as my main hot wallet, anytime any day, I still don't see a better hot wallet than trust wallet.
1279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is important? Knowledge or Experience? Or both in Bitcoin Learning! on: April 23, 2023, 05:30:23 PM
Only those who got shot once in their life knows how bullets in the body hurts, it's a very bad experience, a near death experience, but those who haven't gotten shot before won't dare come out in the open and ask someone to shoot them.

They don't want to experience it and they are ready to stay away from guns forever, in cryptic space we don't want to get scammed, but those who have lost funds to scammers are more carefully than those who haven't experienced it yet.

Still no one wants to lose money to scammers, having knowledge and experiencing something or an even are both different things, You don't have to have an experience of something bad or evil before you have some knowledge.

There are some people in the crypto space that haven't lost funds to scammers before and that doesn't make them relent or feel like a god, they already have the knowledge to secure their funds themselves.
1280  Economy / Gambling / Re: This guy gave a whole prototype of "how live roulette scam us" on: April 23, 2023, 04:14:21 PM
I find it hard to believe that online casinos are 100% clean of cheating, I know that most licensed online casinos have audited games by third-party auditors but still, I wonder why many lose more than they make actually, they claim their games are probably fair like many are saying but it doesn't look that way to me.

It looks like the fairness is only in the favor of the casino owners and not the gamblers, I would rather open my own line gambling business and companies around the country than use my hard-earned money to gamble from time to time.

I still gamble, but not every time like most people, it's more like a lucky game to me which makes me less active with gambling, now I play twice a week and that's it, even if I lost twice in the week, I won't try again until the following week.
