1261  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by betnomi (20 000 $ worth of eth and btc) on: August 04, 2023, 07:49:14 PM
If you create the flag I'll support it. Betnomi lost what respect I had for them when they sold our information and I started getting hundreds of spam emails daily. Then, they go a month+ without showing users enough respect to make a post explaining the situation.

In the past they have been late but have always paid people, this time it feels much different and I feel there is no hope for users to get money owed.

1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Claressa Shields Vs. Keith Thurman?! on: August 04, 2023, 06:07:10 PM
She could always get lucky. In all sports like boxing or MMA, it only takes 1 punch and bad shit can happen. Keith may also try to take it easy on her and get himself knocked out. I personally do not think that men should compete with women in the same sport and vice versa, but the world is changing and who knows what we will see next.

I am good with whatever everyone votes. I'm the new guy so I i'll make it easy for everyone. Regarding draft day, What time zone is the start time and when is the start time? I'm in the EST timezone and pay attention to UTC as well since I have the forum set on that timezone.
1265  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free Condolence Bonuses to Betnomi victims on: August 03, 2023, 10:57:09 PM
Seeing what's happening, we feel there is something we should do to protect people's trust in the crypto iGaming industry, not only as a relatively successful crypto casino & sportsbook, but also as a beneficiary of this industry. Therefore, we have decided to offer a free bonus to all victims of Betnomi who still have funds stuck there. No deposit required.
That's a good move TrustDice, but taking advantage of that situation doesn't always look good. But it is also important to use the right marketing strategy at the right time to stay ahead of the competitors in the market. However I am not a victim of Betnomi so I am not eligible for this bonus, good luck to those who are eligible. But I think there are many scammers who will want to take advantage of this promotion to get this bonus, so pay extra attention to this, and make sure you reach the right victims. Otherwise, real Betnomi victims will not get bonus in this promotion.
I’m also thinking the same way as they are taking advantage of the situation. If OP is really a representative of Trustdice, I hope they’ll be more professional and not to use this situation as their marketing option as many are still suffering from what happened to Betnomi. Well, if they are serious about this promotion then I also hope that they can get to the real victims and now to the fake one.
Dude there's no marketing in here jesus christ they literally are just reaching out to people who have been victimized by Betnomi so they can have some sort of recompense. Jesus christ why are you guys digging into this.

It would've been a marketing ploy if the company is to force the users who have been victimized to login to their site and play games with them in order to get the bonus, instead what you get here is a "if you want this, we can give this to you for free, just reach out and we'll help you with it", you guys have been antagonizing Trustdice when there's no ill will in here. What they did is more than what you guys would ever be willing to do with the amount of money that they had. Just shut the hell up and help those that were victimized, not hate on those that are trying to help cause you think "it's a marketing ploy" like dude go read a book on marketing first and then come back here when you've realized and understood what a marketing tactic really is and how it looks like.
This is how someone who has no clue responds. It's 100% a marketing ploy. You think they're offering this because they do not want to gain players?  It's not illegal and could be considered a pretty smart marketing tactic, but doesn't mean everyone agrees with it. We don't have to like it or dislike it though, we are not the operators of either site.

1266  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free Condolence Bonuses to Betnomi victims on: August 03, 2023, 09:00:53 PM
Dear Betnomi victims,

Seeing what's happening, we feel there is something we should do to protect people's trust in the crypto iGaming industry, not only as a relatively successful crypto casino & sportsbook, but also as a beneficiary of this industry. Therefore, we have decided to offer a free bonus to all victims of Betnomi who still have funds stuck there. No deposit required.

We understand that some forum members might view this with skepticism, but what matters most to us is the feedback and well-being of those directly impacted.

Please understand that the bonus amount will be based on individual circumstances, and there will be wagering requirements. And as always, our website's terms and conditions apply.

We hope this gesture can help you during this challenging time. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact our Customer Support team or reply here.

Wishing you strength and relief in the face of adversity.

Best,
TrustDice Team
It's good and bad I guess. While it looks like a nice gesture from your casino that some might appreciate, it's not really the trustdice team looking to be great and genuine. IMO you're trying to make your reputation look great by taking advantage of a shit situation. I don't love it, but I don't hate it. Maybe this brings you some gamblers.

I'd like to see you guys reverse your decision to ignore the scam accusations section, it's important to show the community you care about their thoughts and will fight scammers without feeling like you have to ignore a whole section and consider it a non issue.

Good luck with this promotion, you already know you'll probably have 1000 scammers try to get the bonus. I do not envy your support department over the next week or 2.

1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My new favorite betting method. on: August 03, 2023, 07:56:23 AM
What's your biggest red streak thus far and highest multi you have hit? You've only tried this on just dice? I would be curious to know if different sites have different results, maybe try 1 of the other dice sites and update us.

If we wanted to try this ourselves we would have to code a bot or find 1 like suentjie correct? None of the sites that i know of have a way to set up their site bot like this.
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: August 03, 2023, 02:48:56 AM
Get some friends, go out of your house, and quit sitting at home behind the computer. Unless you're sick(like me) then you should be outside enjoying the world. Go play some basketball, go swimming, take the kids to a waterpark. Gambling shouldn't consume your daily life.

1269  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The story of Betnomi.com (Exit Scam) on: August 02, 2023, 07:26:44 PM
My advice to campaign managers is to ensure they already have sufficient fund to run a week from the organizations through their representatives in other not to put their participants on hold after they might have worked but not received pay, isn't it better to always hold than running a week at your own risk, but i think some representatives were actually promising at their words, they don't owe managers even though they were unreached, they will definitely pay every week started to their participants.
What value are you actually bringing to this thread? You're talking about funding for a sig campaign and what managers should be doing(BTW they know what they should be doing) when the thread is about Betnomi exit scamming.

Go get your post quota elsewhere!!
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: August 01, 2023, 09:35:20 PM
Two days away from the very first preseason game!  They call it the "Hall of Fame Game".  Thursday at 7pm Chicago time.  Jets versus the Browns which would be a REALLY good game if all the starters actually played.  Since the pre-season is now only 3 games instead of 4, they may actually play starters in this game.  We sha'll see.

@Hueristic. I recently read your email. I am certainly joining this season!

On the other details mentioned in this thread, I would like to vote for the same donation amount to the pot of .0025 similar to last season and also vote to use the same website Yahoo Fantasy. All of the other changes being discussed within the fantasy league, I will vote yes of most of the participants agrees and will also vote yes.

Also, welcome to @yahoo62278 and @SouthPark's victi, I mean recruit hehehe.

I agree with you that sticking with Yahoo makes the most sense (though Sleeper is really growing on me and I believe is either the best or will be the best fantasy app before long).  I also agree with .0025BTC being a good amount as the buy in.
I'm super curious to see how this Jets team does this season. Adding Aaron Rodgers, probably picking up Dalvin Cook, and a top 5 defense I can see them winning 10-11 games this season.

When are we planning on doing the draft?
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Collective bets in local lotteries on: August 01, 2023, 09:18:47 PM
When you bet with a group you run the risk of whomever claims the money being able to fuck everyone. If the group as a whole is allowed to collect the prize that's 1 thing, but if only 1 person can claim the prize there is big risk involved.

If you have a group of people whom you can trust, risking a few dollars for a decent payday is fine. Just keep what I say in mind, it could lead to a big drama fest.
1272  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: August 01, 2023, 06:01:42 PM

We know they sent some hardware wallets to community members after winning their giveaways, that was nice from them, but I hope personal information wont end up in wrong hands.
This is one of the reasons why I dont like doing verification on most crypto casinos, and why I refused to do it even when I was offer money for that.
I will repeat again that email address I used for registering on Betnomi started to receive unrelated spam emails recently.

Yep, the email address I used for betnomi has become a spam haven. It looks like it's getting somewhere in the 10-15 spam emails per day from sites I've never visited or been interested in.

1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 01, 2023, 05:30:52 AM
I've checked out a few slots on demo mode and I think they're just about the same honestly. Maybe the provider makes a difference, maybe not. I don't think you're playing on the same seed if you play a slot on demo then switch to regular mode.

I think it's a good way to get acquainted with a slot before you start playing for money. Most sites allow you to buy bonuses on No limit and Hacksaw providers on demo mode, so I think that's pretty nice.
1274  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hhampuz using his position on forum to vindicate scams on: July 31, 2023, 03:06:27 AM
How is that feedback vindicating a scam? I actually spoke with Hhampuz about this issue a while back because sometimes it feels like casinos use certain violations as a way to confiscate money, but a very good point was brought up. They cannot share some information to all of the forum. All they would be doing is making the scammers smarter by doing so. Users with a complain can ask the casino to agree to a outside ruling from casinoguru or askgamblers and some sites agree with that.

You gotta realize that most of the time the accuser usually isn't sharing the whole story. They're sharing the part that makes them look like they were scammed. In most cases at least. Every now and then someone actually is telling the truth and usuaully the casino will fix the issue. I at 1 point felt like the guy got scammed but I don't know the whole story and gave the casino the benefit of doubt.

I don't think Hhampuz leaving a positive trust for a casino he has had no issues with is vindicating a scam though.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering - share your opinion on: July 31, 2023, 02:32:08 AM
Wagering is an activity to redeem gambling bonuses, increase the rank of your account in a casino and a whole series of other advantages ...
Think about the reason casinos create ranks and bonuses.
Wagering is how the casino makes profit.

--Knight Hider
Wagering is not how the casino makes money. Not technically anyways. You can wager $100k and break even on your bets and the casdino made $0 from you. Casinos profit by you losing and the only way you can lose is to keep wagering. All games have a house edge and eventually that house edge catches up to a player. They know if you keep playing that eventually you will lose.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering - share your opinion on: July 30, 2023, 11:29:02 PM
Dice is a fast way to wager. Everyone has their own strategy, but I like to play x1.06 and on a loss double the bet 4 times for 1 bet. If it wins go back to the base, if it loses double 4 more times. Very risky and I wouldn't do it with large amounts, but you can get some wager built up fast if you keep from getting unlucky.

Mines with 3 mines can be pretty good as well. Usually only pick 1or 2 squares and take the profit.

1277  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 30, 2023, 10:56:30 PM
But all the same, we must also give Betnomi some benefits of the doubt to let them know that the community still cares and wish them well as long as the fault of the closer of service is not from them, but it is until they come out to make public notice.

It's really frustrating and disappointing reading replies like this one. Wiwo, do you realize that betnomi's representative has been inactive fir almost a month and didn't make a post or address any of the members concerns fir more than two months. Do you think this is acceptable! I advice everyone to stay away from this casino till they come back online and fix all the issues and address all their customers' concerns.
Stay away? There's no way to login to the place at this time. If they come back, do you really think they are going to fix any issues? They're not going to come back, they have shown us that they do not care what we think.
1278  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 30, 2023, 10:52:28 PM

Some things stop being an accusation when the person in question admits to it... And there is plenty of stuff that sorsis has done (and claimed) that would really not fit into the narrative of this casino being a community friendly one that would take care of everyone
It was not all bad about betnomi, you just are painting very grim picture for them.

Correct, they did some good things for the community. I do have to say though, if you had prior information about the type of people who were running the website, it might have been nice to share with the community. @Csmiami.  Betnomi may not have had the chance to close the doors with funds of users if we had known.
1279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 30, 2023, 08:42:40 PM
Here are the result of my picks for the UFC 291

Dustin Poirier (1.69) VS Justin Gaethje (2.28) - LOST

Pretty much it is a great fight and congrats to Justin Gaethje he proves that he can surely up his game so much that he can become more technical with his fight, and for this fight he surely knows what Dustin Poirier will do and that punch kick combo is surely amazing just like on the Leon Edwards VS Kamaru Usman fight but in here Dustin Poirier surely doesn't have any defense for that kick he got a counter for that punch but for that kicks that Justin Gaethje is releasing it was really devastating for Poirier,

I just watched the fight on youtube. Looked like a fairly even fight going into round 2, Gaethje jad a little cut on his eye but other then that noone looked dominant. That kick that ended it in round 2 came outta nowhere. I'm sure we will see the trilogy soon for these guys. Poirer IMO will take the 3rd match if Gaethje gives him the rematch.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: July 30, 2023, 05:55:27 PM
Everyone has things they think make them lose. It could be a person they think is a black cat, sharing their bets, or the sun was red that day. Gamblers aren't rationale basically. If they lose there must be a reason besides they played bad or made a bad bet.

People can believe that someone is a black cat, like you said, but does that mean that one can transfer their bad luck to you in a game that you have already predicted and staked? I don't think it works that way
Obviously it doesn't work that way, that's why I say some gamblers aren't really trying to think rationally. They want to believe there is a reason they lost a bet and they should never lose if it weren't for bad luck.
