I think that is the point and this is why I think fans are not happy with the Onana situation, they can get someone else, but it's hard to replace goalkeepers midseason. I feel, we don't the need to compare Onana and De Gea anymore, what I mean is that we can focus more on the future. Personally, I admit that what De Gea did during his decade in the Man United uniform is worthy of appreciation, and on the other hand, we haven't seen Onana performance for a full season and I feel it's necessary to do so. Onana's final save was not enough to cover up his blunder, but it really helped his confidence. Replacing Onana in the middle of the season sounds impossible and even poses quite a big risk, this is only possible if Ten Hag no longer trains The Red Devils squad. Bayer Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund has really been up and doing this season and are very strong contenders to win the league that's been won by Bayern Munich in the last 11 years. So Bayern already knows how every point counts and must always be at their best to stand a chance of winning the league this season
I really enjoy the Bundesliga competition this season, I think 11 consecutive seasons winning the trophy is extraordinary and very difficult for other clubs to surpass. Munchen still remains at the forefront of the list of favorites for this season, along with Laverkusen, VfB and Dortmund, even though Thomas Tuchel squad is currently in third place in the standings. On the other hand, Harry Kane is still behind in scoring goals from Sehrou Guirassy who currently leads the top scorer list, but I think Kane is able to adapt quickly. The Bundesliga has only been running for eight weeks, and there hasn't been a big points gap yet. I think it would be quite interesting if the top four standings continued as they are now until the end of the season, meaning it would be very competitive and full of rivalry. Regarding who will become champion, I think it would be better this time for someone other than Munchen, so that the Bundesliga is no longer labeled as the Farmers League. |

I'm not sure how much a team should spend for a palyer like Jesse Lingard but it seems this palyer is expensive even for the Saudi teams and they don't want to spend too much money for this palyer.
Jesse Lingard was recently playing for Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, and West Ham but he had poor performance after 2021 and he scored only two goals in the 20 games.
I don't see any reason for Nottingham Forrest need to keep Lingard, they should accept any amount that other club has interest want to sign him. His contract is near to end and they might get nothing since Lingard will become a free agent. I think Al Ettifaq only want Lingard popularity, that's why they interested with him. Saudi Arabia teams are collecting famous players regardless of their ages but also talented players and those who could still help them achieve their goals on winning domestic and international titles. El-Ettifaq don't have many good and shining names like the other top teams in Saudi Pro League. Their defeat vs Al-Riyadh prove that they need to consolidate more their squad. Jesse Lingard would be a good choice if they could help them being more stable. SPL clubs that are funded directly by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) will not have to worry about the budget that must be spent to recruit Jesse Lingard. They have abundant funds to make transfers which sometimes seem unreasonable. They want to build the SPL instantly, and whether the players are good or not is not a big issue, what is important at the moment is the players big names.
