You should add: #6 Keep track of roster information and player availability.
Not having a Stephen Curry available to play drastically changes Golden State's chances to win and boosts their opponents. I also agree with the previous users, these are general guidelines that can be applied for all other sports and leagues as well.

You protect them by keeping them on paper wallets, hardware wallets or cold storages. You don't use them on computers that are connected to the Internet or keep them on web wallets or exchanges. You make sure that your private keys and seeds are safely tucked away from prying eyes and are never stored or used online.

Ok then how is it possible for hackers or law enforcement to gain access to your coins on the nano s if that is the case? I did hear stories hackers getting access to coins on ledger nano s hardware and regular upcoming firmware updates means old version is not secure and can be hacked. I never heard stories about law enforcement "hacking" their way into a Ledger device. If that was possible the devices would be worthless. Maybe law enforcement got court orders and received the necessary access details from the device owners. The Ledger software gets updated like any other software. Those are both stability and security updates, improvements etc. An update doesn't mean that the previous version is hackable and you will lose your coins unless you update.

Is Electrum a partner of BITCOIN and is Electrum an official wallet?
The answers would be the same. We know about Electrum for many years already but Vite and the Vite wallet are relatively new and so is Grin. Therefore it doesn't hurt to ask if this is a wallet that Grin recommends, trusts or promotes in any way.

The Ledger Live verifies only the software part of Ledger devices does it not? In order to check the individual hardware components and compare them to the official pictures posted by Ledger on their site you would have to actually open your device, like you said, and inspect each individual piece.

Ok I was thinking of taking the ledger nano s to a friend computer with windows 10 however I don't know how secure is computer is so my only option on my friends windows 10 computer is safe mode with networking? Nobody can steal the funds from your hardware wallet unless they know your PIN or seed. Even if the PC you are using is infected with malware a hacker would need physical access to your device and would need to push the buttons on it to be able to get to your coins. Your seed is not saved on the device and your private keys never leave the device so you are safe. The only thing you should worry about is if the address you create on your Ledger is the same as the one that you copy/paste when sending a transaction but that is why it is important to verify it on the Ledger screen. But that is not what you are doing now since you are looking to update your firmware first.

So what'll ensure dev can maintain the price at 1$... theymos explained it in Meta here. This is totally unrelated to this particular token, which I don't know anything about and only spent 30 seconds skimming, but you could do a stablecoin in a mostly-decentralized way like this: - Call the stablecoin "SSCN". There's also another token which is part of the same system called "SBND". - When the price is below $1, the system automatically creates x SBND tokens and sells them for SSCN tokens in an automatic auction process. This destroys SSCN coins, reducing the supply and therefore increasing the price. - When the price is above $1, the system automatically buys y SBND tokens in return for SSCN tokens in an automatic auction process. This creates SSCN coins, increasing the supply and therefore reducing the price.
(Speculators would buy SBND tokens if they think that SSCN is going to become more popular, and sell them if they think that SSCN is going to become less popular.)
A decentralized system cannot know anything about prices, so some centralized entity needs to provide SSCN's price to the system as an input. This is an unavoidable point of centralization. But everything else, such as determining x and y above and conducting the auctions, could be done automatically.

It happens, no need to be offended or worried about it. I had a post deleted yesterday that I feel was in no way off topic. A user was suggesting too invest money on reputable exchanges. I felt like he was saying that it is a good practice to also keep your funds there. I merely stated that it is not a good idea because exchanges have been hacked in the past and you are safer when you are in possession of your own keys. The post got deleted. Not sure why but I am not going to investigate it any further.

Try to avoid betting on Serie A in the last 3-4 rounds of the season. Historically there is a tendency of unexpected results in Italy when everything is decided. Especially the favourites. It is better to focus on those teams trying to avoid relegation than betting on the usual top teams.

@Wooh2323 congratulations on your winnings! Like panjul07 said it is most probably a security check to make sure that there was no foul play used. If everything is legit from your side you have nothing to worry about. They have a discord channel with a support section so if you want you can ask their admins there. https://discordapp.com/invite/xa4scaN ( not my referral link, it is the official link from the site just in case anyone is wondering).

You can live well online just with defender and Malwarebytes, if you have good habits online. Good point, that's what many people fail to understand. They believe if they purchased a security suite that they now have this magical program that functions as a shield. In reality an anti virus is like pain killers or aspirin. If you don't get sick in the first place you won't need them. I remember a few years back when an uncle of mine asked me to help him set up a facebook account and download a few things. I knew it was a bad idea but I helped him out. A few weeks later the guy got infected with some nasty thing that shared porn videos with his friends and family over Facebook.

It is not a bad idea but I think this discussion should be moved to the Meta board. It is forum related and thus it could get the needed approval if it is on Meta. I agree with Bitinity that no matter if there is a sticky thread or not users are simply too lazy to read what it says in the same way they are too lazy to read the rules.

You can also use https://bulksender.app/# for the same purpose. It can be configured to send ETH and other ERC-20 based tokens to multiple recipients. It also has an option to import addresses from an excel, txt or csv file. I have never used the site so use it at your own risk!
