Why can't they adopt the Bitcoin?

No nation state will adopt bitcoin officially, ever. You have to be living in a fantasy land to think otherwise.

You don't know that. It's unlikely, especially any time soon, but I don't think it's impossible. Maybe a state might issue their own sometime in the future.

And a country might not 'officially' adopt it or another crypto but they might not have a choice if people dump their state issued currency and start using a coin.

anyone know why this topic got archived??

Try ask who moved it there. In the original forum there is usually a ghostlink of the original thread linking to the new one, but it'll tell you who moved it there.

I deposit only 0.025 for start Smiley  and all profit reinvest, its around 0.50 so in 2-3 days I probably earn my first BTC.

Thank you a lot.

Or you'll lose it all when the pyramid collapses or the owners shut up shop unexpectedly.
12605  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I burn my wallet on a DVD? on: April 08, 2014, 08:00:15 AM
thank you!

and btw, I have no idea why I just quoted myself, I thought I was editing my original post to be a little clearer. Whoops!

So after I drag it onto a blank cd, how would I go about using that data if, say, my computer was lost? If my computer can't ever 'find' the file, how do I get it to work?

You'll just need to import it in your wallet.
12606  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-04-06] CoinReport - Scotland's Search for a Reliable Currency, Scotcoin? on: April 08, 2014, 07:57:59 AM
They want independence but not of their currency?

They want to join the EU. So no chance for a new currency.

Why can they not have a new currency? And are they not voting on wether they want to join the EU too?
12607  Other / Meta / Re: Those who are Spamming the trust system. Action needs to be taken! on: April 08, 2014, 07:55:09 AM
I see Trust:   -831: -9 / +5(5)
Warning: Trade with extreme caution!

I think this is what everyone'll see who just has the default trust list, but people will see different ratings based on positive and negative trust they've left for other people who have left trust for Inaba.
12608  Other / Meta / Re: WHY A 360 SECOND DELAY??? on: April 08, 2014, 07:50:58 AM
An Error Has Occurred!
The last posting from your IP was less than 360 seconds ago. Please try again later.

Well another error has occured, this user is not going to waste their time on a forum like this, if you want to frustrate your users then this is the way to go, if you want the same users posting the same crap then this is the way to go.

Most people will see that and go "well screw that forum" and just go somewhere else (like I am).

It's a joke, if the moderators and site admin are so incompetent they cannot setup decent anti-spam measures then the forum cannot be worthwhile to be a member of.

Many forums manage without these stupid restrictions.

anyway enough said, enjoy your forum of 'old posters only'.

It's annoying but everybody had to deal with it, and if you were serious about posting here you would've just persevered and waited it out.

Think of the cost per head of teaching people how to use it, that alone is a waste of money. Or should I say Scotcoins.

Even if Scotland eventually votes for Independence, I am sure that they will chose the Euro over any cryptocurrency.

They want independence but not of their currency?
12611  Other / Off-topic / Re: Favourite TV programmes on: April 08, 2014, 07:36:08 AM
I am really liking the miss marple series, very very cool

All over Youtube

Haha really? Or do you just really like whodunits with D-list British celebs?  Grin I see Nicolas Winding Refn directed one. That ahold be interesting.
12612  Other / Off-topic / Re: Check out this contest by Josh (BFL) on: April 08, 2014, 07:31:33 AM
His plan has obviously backfired for him and the participants looking at all the return reds they've received. The feedback system night not be perfect, but it's kinda coped well with the abuse here.
12613  Other / Off-topic / Re: Most Universally Respected Musician? on: April 07, 2014, 08:50:31 PM
Dank or Paganini maybe.

I don't listen to rap (crap) music and I've never even heard of either of these two, so I don't think they're universally known.

Only tools refer to rap as crap. Why would you dismiss an entire genre of music?

It's just shouting words into a microphone and it requires no talent. Anyone could practice and become a rapper in a day, I'm just not impressed by that genre.

That's an absolute moronic thing to say, but is to be expected from the type of people who make such ignorant and clichéd statements as you do. I can guarantee if you spent a year practising you wouldn't be able to come up with even a half decent rap performance. Do poets not have talent to you? Do music producers not have talent? Do guitarists not have talent? I find it's usually the people like you that lack any sort of talent and intelligence.

Meh, poetry is pretty dull. If it's put to music with a beat it can be good, but otherwise I'm not interested.

And I don't hate all rap. I mean, I've always liked the Beastie Boys. But you've got to admit, if you and two of your college buddies decided you wanted to perform music, but none of you could sing or play any instruments, you'd probably go down the same route as the Beastie Boys (rap).

It's only dull to dull people. Something tells me you probably haven't delved that deep into poetry just as you haven't into hip-hop. Rap is essentially poetry put to a beat. I wouldn't want to listen to any that wasn't.

And the Beastie Boys can play instruments.

I always love it when people say they listen to all music but country and rap lol

Yeah, that's another ignorant and clichéd statement plebs use.

YOU DON'T NEED ALL CAPS if your thread topic is worthwhile.

And Nazi propaganda usually isn’t  Grin.
12616  Other / Off-topic / Re: A MOVIE EVERYBODY SHOULD WATCH on: April 07, 2014, 08:27:20 PM

It will be a while before just my 2 satoshis enters mainstream parlance

Hmm I wonder if that would ever gain traction as a saying, I'll give it you though

It could on here, but not in the general public unless Bitcoin goes mega mainstream.
