If you saw my other posts and threads on the last few weeks then you will understand that Bitcoin Core is screwed up on my PC and I'am struggling and I decided to move to Windows 10 and make all fresh to make I'am good to go .
So , Bitcoin Core don't want to Reindex (at least it take shitload of days) now I want to know if I take backup of wallet.dat and save it somewhere safe , Unistall windows and install the new Windows 10 could I import the wallet.dat ? or that wallet.dat won't be updated because the Reindexing with the network wasen't finished ?
Also what are the wallets that I could import wallet.dat to safely without any issues because I'am thinking to switch to Electrum after the Installation of the new windows .
Yes you can just move the wallet.dat to the new system and put it in the correct folder. You can not use the wallet.dat file directly with any other wallet software. The easiest and safest way is to send the coins via a TX from the old wallet to a new wallet (e.g. electrum). Most newer wallets like electrum do not allow you to import private keys as they would not be covered by the seed. Im not sure if its worth the hassle to fully sync bitcoin core for a single transaction. If you know someone you can trust its an option to let them do it. You can also export the private keys (no need to sync for that) and import them into a temp wallet like blockchain.info or Mycelium and create a TX to your new permanent wallet from there. I'm not really 100% sure about the technology (i'm learning myself), but if i'm not mistaking, your wallet.dat holds your keys, not your coins... So, afaik, you can safely take your wallet.dat, even when you're reindexing, reinstall windows, import the file, and you're ready to go  You can easily try it out on the pc of a trusted family member if you're unsure... Just install bitcoin core, import your wallet.dat, and i'm pretty sure your coins will appear once it's all synced (it might take a while) Yes the coins are actually nowhere. The wallet.dat contains all private keys, the description you left for the addresses and some transaction data if possible. The transaction data might be outdated, but that should not be a problem. Good to know that I'am fine from that part then . how do I export private keys from the wallet on BTC Core don't see any option for that , and I suppose I should export for each adress because I have multiple adresses .I may use Escrow or something to store half and backup half I don't want to take risk . |

Bit-x.com cards became better lately since they took off some fees . You can get one forfree if you are part of the signature compaign otherwise you have to order it and pay for it . Website works fine from what I see and tested .
however there is shitload Pop-ups ads and they redirect me to website that contains malwares (malwarebytes blocked them ) which could be used against you . I know you most likely don't control the content of ads but I'am just saying you maybe should care about your users security more then your money . also you should use .com domain because it's better to memorize , write and for SEO

As far as I know there is an option called "Link A Device" if possible through there, link it to your phone etc. And after you reinstall re-link to your PC.
As I stated on the original , that won't work also because It's not working , Link device or link the Google+ both buttons are not working they are colored and not disabled however when I click nothing really happens . ty for your suggestion and help . @nickaizoku I'am planning to Install Windows 10 and not seven , also it won't work because how I will transfer or know the files needed that Bluestacks keep so I take backup of them . EDIT : I was able to found something that works , seems like the email stays related to the account forever so I was able to get the account back on my tablet I thought once it's linked and unlinked it cannot go back . ty for all your help |

Hello
Try this:
1) Verify that you have a google account (gmail account)
2) Go to "BlueStacks Settings", then "Advanced Settings", then "Add an account", then click on "Google"
3) Click on "Existing" if you already have an account, or "New" if you don't
4) Sign in
5) Now, download "Play Games" in Google Play (Search apps -> Play Games -> Search Play for Play Games)
6) Start Play Games and verify that you are connected with your Google Account
7) Start Clash of Clans, the button "Connected Google+" should be green!
Edit: If it doesn't work with an old account, try to connect with a new one
Hi mate , thanks for your help . However that won't work . I know it should become green button once I login but the problem is when I click the button red "Disconnected Google+" which should make me connect using Google Play .. It's not working , it's like I click and nothing happens . Do you have try to re-instal your COC app? Logically if I Unistall it and install it once again Data will be lost ? I mean the account will be lost and I will have to start from 0 and it will ask me to login in Google+ in case I have an account before which I don't since I didn't take a backup .(i can't take one) Try Helium or Titanium Backup

Could someone please answer my question above , If the latest version is 2.4 how come there is only 2.3.2 to download on the Download page on Electrum.org . I appreciate any answer ASAP because I need to switch to Electrum in few minuts (installing new windows version) Also why the shortcut icon is different then before with a weird way  |

So I'am planning to switch to Windows 10 , do a fresh install & clean .
I have Bluestacks right now with my Clash of clans account but I can't seem to find out why the hell nothing happens when I click "Disconnected Google+" so I link the account . I click but nothing happens , I can click on the Facebook icon so I link the account but I guess it dosen't SafeGuard for Facebook ... so it's useless .
I would appreciate if someone could link my base to my Google+ account . thank you

Coinbase was giving 1$ per signup using Facebook account and also 10$ (or something simillar) for users that have .EDU email accounts means for students .

If I'm not mistaken, Darkwallet uses stealth addresses, something that can be used depending on the blockchain only, thus being decentralized. Bitmixer is just a mixing service. AFAIK Darkwallet does not do mixing itself, so they're different things for different purposes.
Speaking about those Stealth adresses , I was searching on their Github page then got linked to their Wiki page . I read about Stealth things but I didn't get a word how does those things works if you could make it simplier to me I think they are addresses that don't show up on the blockchain with details, only the 2 parties involved know the details. Not sure tho. The guy developing Darkwallet named Amir used to post here I think but disappeared for months and the project has been frozen. It's not really frozen AFAIK , their twitter account seem to be active and they are retweeting from time to time , also they asked funding on their twitter in March so project should be UP and they still working on it . it's 75% funded like you see on the link I gave on OP . i have used bitmixer before and everything seemed to work, also i heard that it provides good services, there is no need to trust it to darkwallet as it says its not stable
I just want to know what is the difference between it and Bitmixer.io , it's not trusted and not stable because it's on Alpha stage testing and that's normal , they don't want us to lose our money so we have to wait . still curious to know the difference between those two |

The universal mistake of all people involved with Bitcoin is not starting early enough. Imagine being the first to discover the new technology, and mine it with the most mediocre mining power because the difficulty of the blocks were so low. As far as investing in altcoins. Some were successes. Dogecoin was something I never thought would lift off the ground and somehow made a name for itself. Perhaps not investing in that was also a mistake.
Indeed mate , I couldn't disagree on this one . If I heard of Bitcoin earlier I would've join for sure but the shit thing is I heard of it until January 2014 and started using it on late 2014 so I was already too late for the train but I guess I still can catch up and buy BTC to hold them #to da moon. for what comes to Alternative coins , never thinked on them not even once . for me they are simply copies of BTC which dosen't really worth anything . |

I don't know why but my Bitcoin Core synchronization is very very slow... can you guys help me?  If it's Synchronization with the Network then it may take very longtime if you have Bad internet (make sure to use the latest version of Bitcoin Core) because it's a downloading a 30GB File on your AppData . If you have "Reindexing from disk" then It will take less time because it's just checking the files you downloaded before your the first step . If you have the choice , I'd advice you to switch to Electrum to be honest , this is the decision I took lately because I saw that Bitcoin Core is screwing my shitty PC and always when I run it I found Corrupted database and have to sync again each tiime . |
