12701  Economy / Speculation / Re: Below 10K before xmas? on: December 21, 2017, 10:57:44 PM
Looks like it based on current trend.
It's stay put on $15k and I don't think this dip is already too much for this week. You know we are near to week end and everyone will still cash out and sell their bitcoins preparing for Christmas eve/day. I don't want to say that it can go $10,000 before Christmas but there's a chance of it.

That's impossible if people will sold their bitcoin as early right now people will buy more. because we're in massive adoption, I guarantee you 100% it won't fall that price. I guess $14K Is very possible.

It's possible mate, bitcoin is volatile and things like this in crypto world can happen anytime.
12702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD on: December 21, 2017, 10:46:35 PM
Pushing people to support byteball? Bitcoin isn't dead and will never be dead, confirmations are taking so long because people are still buying it and there's a big demand on it so there's no doubt that bitcoin is still kicking and alive. The fact about bitcoin as a way to transfer payments and we are all inconveniently accepting these high fees and it's everyone's problem that we've been dealing with it. But wait for it, lightning network will settle everything and bitcoin will be great again.
12703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find coins with potential on: December 21, 2017, 10:08:13 PM
How do you decide which coin to mine?
When it's really worthy to mine or buy it, I don't fall for my feeling just like others are saying that "this looks promising", "this will fly to the moon". That feeling is totally a bad way of trading because it might lose all of your funds and waste your time for mining. If the coin has a good market cap then that's a good one to choose because it has value.

How do you research about coins to decide if they have potential

Googling everything, reading reviews, whitepaper, development team.
12704  Other / Off-topic / Re: Diversify into real estate on: December 21, 2017, 09:53:47 PM
I think its good idea to diversify your hodlings by byuing a propetry with eth or bitcoin? Roll Eyes

Real estate in a never dying investment and it's a need and at the same time an investment if one day will come and you want to move to a better place. Basically, everyone has a goal to buy their own house, bungalow or not as long as you can live there and it can be a way to remember the sacrifices you made just to pay the mortgage. And you had to answer this, why in the first place you are holding eth or bitcoin? When you had enough profit how you'll spend them?
12705  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the government know bitcoin in your country? on: December 21, 2017, 09:40:35 PM
Other countries / government may ban bitcoin if they wish to do it so but there are still some countries that are recognizing bitcoin. In my country, the Central Bank already knew the existence of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and they have been alarmed and amazed on how much our countrymen is earning through it. But what they did is they don't advertise any crypto or exchanger but they are warning people about it for being used for illegal activities and as a citizen we just have to follow their directives and warnings about it. And the good thing is they didn't ban it.
12706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good choice buying Litecoin? on: December 21, 2017, 09:24:35 PM
Are you aware that Charlie Lee (Satoshi Lite) did sold all of his Litecoin for charity? People are skeptic about his reason for donating it to a charity but he is proving that he's not manipulating the entire economy of Litecoin. Anyway that is still a good choice for buying Litecoin since it has pumped a lot and wait for it's correction before buy backing in. It will come since the whole market now is experiencing it.
12707  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: December 21, 2017, 09:10:44 PM
I saw a clothing store that took payment in bitcoins, so there is a chance) I think the entrance of bitcoin as the crypto currency on the stock exchange - is already a success.  Cheesy
It's a success but we have been dealing with many problems on this thing, transactions are being stuck with the high fees. And this is the record now that bitcoin has 284k transactions that are unconfirmed and this is not really normal. Before when it went at 100k unconfirmed transactions it is that much but now is getting worse although businesses like t-shirt for bitcoin is still applicable but you need to pay for higher fee for the priority.
12708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: December 21, 2017, 01:19:21 PM
If I had $50 on my pocket I'm going to buy Verge now, there is a good review for it and the price is pumping so while it's still early to invest and buy it that's going to be the best coin in my opinion. There is also DGB and SIACOIN where their price aren't too expensive so you can buy thousands of it and wait it's price to go to the moon before selling it.
12709  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: December 21, 2017, 12:59:27 PM
I see only one option. In the first month you earn $ 500 on a bounty, for two months you take part in a very VERY promising ICO. Otherwise I do not know how. Is it worth if a bitcoin is worth a thousand dollars.
The first thing you need to do is you have to identify that "very promising ICO" nowadays they are very rare since most of them are just scams and even they are promising great gains for participating their bounty still not all of them are worth of joining. And if you can notice, some are already doing different way of advertising for their bounty just to attract people to join them.
12710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening Now! Etherdelta, Youbit got hacked! My All money gone? on: December 21, 2017, 12:29:47 PM
A few days ago etherdelta posted a tweet that some good news will come soon. So these are good news? Etherdelta got hacked and hacker transferring money from ed! We are not safe anywhere!! What do you think? I am feeling so bad  Cry Cry
It's confirmed that Etherdelta got hacked and was attacked, it was posted. We can't stop these attackers it's all about money, they are greedy ones that are just waiting for the rise and just suddenly attack an exchange. This is getting worst and every exchange should be aware of it and it's now time to invest into a better security that they can provide not only for their business but also for their customers.

I didn't know that YoBit got hacked, when did that happen? Hopefully there isn't that many people hurt by it.
I don't have an idea too on when it got hacked, lack of evidence too with his money that were gone.
12711  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you see the bitcoin economy 10 years from now? on: December 21, 2017, 12:17:12 PM
Bitcoin economy 10 years from now is still uncertain. But if the scaling problem will be solved in due time it can be better on those years. And if the progress of crypto's mainly with bitcoin is positive for the next years then for sure there are too many people that are starting using bitcoin as their main exchange / currency for purchases.
12712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 21, 2017, 11:43:13 AM
Finally the winning streak of Rockets has stopped, the Lakers beat them at their own game, Kyle Kuzma the Rookie scored 38 points which help a lot of upsetting the Rockets tonight, lucky are those who were able to bet on the moneyline because the payout was I think x 9.87.

Congratulations on the winners, and to the Lakers as well, they love to compete strong teams, I hope they can finally make it to the playoffs as well.

Everyone's expectation has been broken through this match that Houston Rockets will dominate against Los Angeles Lakers. But nothing has changed since Houston Rockets is still on the number 1 of the current West. Conf. Standings but they are only 1 win away from Golden State Warriors. Who knows on the first wave of January 2018 there will be a new leader on the current standing.
Happy to see that a rookie is showing good numbers for the team, after getting Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma it shows us that the team has a bright future ahead of them. However it is just one win they need to show it all through out the season that they are developing into a better team. The Houston Rocket also did good today even with Chris Paul only playing 25 minutes he showed that he can have an impact to the team. Lets not also forget that Kuzma isn't the highest scorer of the game as Harden scored 51 points.

Chris Paul is one of the main players that is bringing the team. And with Harden as always it's expected that he will always the lead scorer of the team he's only focus with offense. Let's see on their incoming games if they can still defend their title for being the number 1 on their standings or else it will be taken by GSW.
12713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA , VERGE , EMC2 , NXT , DGB , XRT?? on: December 21, 2017, 10:52:35 AM
I love XRP , and VERGE seems promising. but what about others? i'd like to get some more informations from people who invested

EMC2 is now popular and DGB has been quite silent for this moment. But don't forget that DGB is still promising, I have invested to DGB and it's still undervalued so given a chance that almost all those low valued coins are pumping, VERGE and DGB is now my other choice when it comes to adding it to my portfolio. I have DGB before but I sold it already and now I'm preparing myself to get it again.

Do you think in 1 year , end of 2018 , both can reach 10$?
I remember ETH being at 7$ december 2016 , and XRP at 0.006$
it gives hope , but not sure they ll have that much success
In my opinion there's a chance but I'm not guaranteeing you. There's a big advertisement that is being done for Verge by John McAfee since it is an anonymous coin and he loves it that way and people are taking his words seriously so there's a chance if on 2018 he keeps on talking like that. Well the only thing that you can do now is to be prepared on whatever is going to happen and make sure that you have these coins on held.

Yes John Mcafee posted it on twitter that Xvg will be $15 next year and people want that so alot of buyers are trading it at this time same with the other coins that has big potential.
And now there's another tweet from that everyday he'll give his opinion about new altcoins that has potential. XVG is pumping because of his words and many are taking his actions seriously since he's a tech person and very popular with his anti virus. I just got my verge last time and will do nothing for years, I prefer to hold it for long time.
12714  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cool Bitcoin T-Shirts Giveaway! on: December 21, 2017, 10:38:43 AM
Nice design been seeing people starting to put up clothing line business and taking up the advantage of bitcoin's popularity. I like the black shirt but I don't like the white one, it's too harsh there's no need to put middle finger just to be popular.  Better if you'll change that dirty finger into a hand that holds a bitcoin token but anyway, I'll join your giveaway I hope I'll win.

12716  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to 200k satoshi mount with faucet. on: December 21, 2017, 08:43:07 AM
I earn in faucet too when i'm newbie
Everyone here went to faucets before and we've experienced on how it is easy to claim satoshi's there but in the end of it we'll realize that it's really a waste of time. When I'm not that really knowledgeable in bitcoin, I'm thinking that I can reach 1 bitcoin for a month when it was around $200 through faucets and my assumption just lead me to disappointment.
12717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Good Guy Coinbase on: December 20, 2017, 11:20:31 PM
They halted trading bitcoin cash for a while so everyone is starting to miss the big thing that's happening with it.

they are the most successful company ever created by Bitcoin?

No question and no doubt about that, they are catering almost 100,000 new users everyday and an estimation of 1M+ users for just 22 days.
12718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: December 20, 2017, 11:07:53 PM
with gambling you can get rich faster, also you can broke faster but with trading you have usually an other chance.
Both are risky but with gambling you can lose everything.

And you can have hard time in recovery when it comes to gambling. But in trading, though there are times that your coins are starting to fall but after a couple of days or a week or two it will pump again. This is how the market in trading works and it's not for the weak handlers or for people that has weak heart and the same goes with gambling but in gambling everything there is very quick.
12719  Other / Off-topic / Re: If bitcoin goes to zero on: December 20, 2017, 10:49:21 PM
Rest goes to zero as well?

Which is kinda weird. Everything is measured in BTC. Which makes it the digital gold and bridge between $ (real world) anf crypto.
Literally it is really weird to say that bitcoin can go to zero so if that happens everyone will get it for free. Cryptocurrencies does have their own market cap, they can be affected when bitcoin hits zero but still they will stand alone since they have their own community and they have their own marketcap that makes their coin still valuable. But to say it for real, this is not going to happen. Bitcoin to going to zero $ is just a myth.
12720  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Suggestions for an app? on: December 20, 2017, 10:37:28 PM
Try to make Bitcointalk mobile-friendly app, I'm sure that would be very useful for some people. Or try to make a tutorial of the cryptocurrency world app that can be used by all the newcomers.
I think there is already the same app before but it is not supported by theymos. As for OP, since you have some price checkers / charts and has wallets why not try to add some news about crypto's? You can get an idea from clicking the new tab of google chrome on android. There are line up of news in different things but most of them I'm receiving is about crypto's since google knew it that I'm searching mostly with it.
