43   Nickelback   Photograph
would be my choice on that list.

Really? I don't mind them, but they tend to be universally hated haha. That song was way overplayed though.

I don't understand the music of Arcade Fire.

Top 100 songs according to who? Mariah Carey at number 1? I was talking about albums not singles. Since U Been Gone is tune though.

non-technical but build-in/on-chain escrow

That would be cool, and I've read elsewhere it's perfectly possible.

It would be cool, but how would it work? Any links to further info?

You seriously think there's no bands worth listing from the 2000s onwards?
Trying to think of some but none come to mind.  Music has gone downhill in the last few decades.

How old are you? I'd say the 00s was the best for music, unless you're stuck in the old days.
My user name will give you an Indication of my age Smiley But don't let the numbers fools you...My music taste is vast from Country to hard metal to some rap and everything in between.

Which groups did you like from the 2000 decade?

You're 70 or born in 1970?  Cheesy. 2005 was my favourite year for music ever I think.

There's always going to be 'crybabies' and naysayers. Most are just mad cryptos wern't the get rich quick scheme they imagined. I'm sure they'll regret not having a bit more patience someday.

Do panic sellers count as an 'issue'?

Why? They are a great source of cheap coins  Grin

Not so great when they continue to lose value on the back of every whiff of bad news.

What's that supposed to mean?
Just reacting to your dry wit. Or were you serious?

What dry wit is that exactly?

CNN says Chinese ship found the pings and they are confirmed to match black box pings

This is it

Now to dive 5km under water
I'm curious what information the black box carries.

All sorts of flight data and stuff. Vital info that could help determine what happened. Google it for further details.

You'd be better off trying to buy a small amount from here. I'm sure somebody would sell you that amount even for PP.
12753  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin's potential role on: April 05, 2014, 09:28:23 PM
What is Bitcoin's potential role in financial markets? Payment System, Asset or Currency?

Why not all 3?

Indeed. I think it has a lot of potential. It potentially has the potential to be a potential game-changer, potentially.

Seriously, it's a currency and payment system but people are using it as an asset currently, so all three.

Why is this particular instance such an issue? The chances of this happening are astronomical.

It is not an issue, but I like to understand how things work.
Simply put: Would you go buy a car if you don't know how to drive?

I think a more apt analogy would be going to buy a car and asking the dealer how a combustion engine works and what are the odds of it blowing up and killing you. Cheesy

Why is this in beginners and help now? Wasn't it in the marketplace?

I see it's been moved back now.

I guess Senior and Hero Accounts could be worth quite a bit now with some of the sig deals. Wish I'd've signed up two months earlier  Grin.
12759  Other / Off-topic / Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. WTF? on: April 05, 2014, 08:25:10 PM
I was talking with some friends about this and someone came up with a fresh new conspiracy theory.

You know how Malaysia is slow in giving out updates, conflicting information, and changing wordings of the last transmission, which made it seems like they have something to hide...

My friend said what if the pilot or a hijacker blackmailed the Malaysian Gov for ransom or the release of a prisoner something like that, and the Malaysian Gov turned them down? Then the hijacker crashed the jet as threatened in the blackmail.

The Malaysian Gov did not do anything wrong, but still would not like the news to come out. Plausible theory?

As plausible as all the other made-up theories  Cheesy.

So is there any update on this ping search?
12760  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Obligatory I'm not dead or running post on: April 05, 2014, 08:13:10 PM
It was quite a genius move to name the thread topic: "not dead or running". I think from the moment this thread was started he had no intention of ever returning. It just bought time, distance, false hope and a head start to run and hide.

He stops by to return 1000 of the forums coins but decides to run off with a relatively measly 100 instead? I think he already had a head start of two months before he decided to return (and then disappear again).
