Ken, any updates on Intellihash? Will this be ready to go when we receive our chips in April?
1282  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 10, 2014, 07:01:13 PM
From ACTM details on CT.

320600 / 25000000 Outstanding

How many shares did Ukyo own?
Has Ken been selling some of his on the sly?

There has been more shares added to the details section of ACTM on cryptotrade.

359555 / 25000000 Outstanding

DO NOT BUY ANYMORE SHARES UNTIL KEN GIVES AN EXPLANATION!
IT LOOKS LIKE HE MAY BE DUMPING SHARES.

And now...
361044 / 25000000 Outstanding
Somebody have privileged access to early trading?

It is seriously absurd shares haven't been verified yet. Oh wait, it's been inexcusable for the past 60 days.

It looks like every time someone buys from the .0005 wall, the shares that are bought get added to the 300K shares on CT

So I have 2fa enabled, but I am not prompted to input any codes when I sign in?
Also when I go to the 2fa section the only option you have is to disable the feature, any suggestions?
I want to use 2fa when I sign in and for withdrawals
1284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions for the next "bubble"? on: February 10, 2014, 12:34:09 AM
The magnitude of the breakout ("bubble") might turn out being less than your predictions, however, as the market matures and enters into a more stable uptrend with less volatility and no subsequent crash as it becomes dominated by professional firms and market makers. There might not be a bubble, but simply a slow uptrend.

I agree that the next push should not be as much % wise as the last, it might even be a little disappointing. However, I believe that the next "bubble" will put us at the elbow of the S curve. After a short correction there could be an extreme spike upwards to $25-100K as BTC starts to become adopted globally and as people start to catch on that it isn't a worthless bubble. Anyone buying BTC under $1000 is an early adopter imo

In case anyone hasn't heard yet, ASICMiner plan on producing 400 - 1600 Ph/s of gen 3 chips. And no, that's not a typo.

try 2-20 PH/s? If gen3 was to last for 3 years then yes, they would be putting an exahash online in those 3 years. You're forgetting to put the context Wink
1286  Economy / Speculation / Predictions for the next "bubble"? on: February 09, 2014, 09:48:14 PM
My Prediction:
We will see another "bubble" or exponential run up sometime in June.
This move will bring us to $3000-$5000 BTC

The reason for my prediction and exact timing of June is due to the fractal nature of BTC adoption and price. From $32-$266 took roughly 10 months, from $266-$1200 took roughly 8 months. I'm predicting a 6 month period from the December peak price to the next peak price

Well almost, the sale of the shares was going really well until the shareholders started listening to the Tolls again and panicked like little children. Nothing new there. The shares would have been sold within 5 days and we would have had enough money to pay back a few btc to Ukyo too - but too many people on here just can't see the bigger picture. Keep listening to them Trolls kiddies.

how many shares have you bought since wednesday?
1288  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 09, 2014, 06:14:51 PM
I am selling Ukyo shares to get Active Mining BTC back that he owes us.
...

I don't think anybody's going to buy the remaining shares until you come clean, Ken.

Just post proof of the UMC deal, a contract with blacked out sensitive information or something like this.

This^^

I have BTC ready to buy more, but not until shares start trading again or until there's proof of this 55nm tapeout
1289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big surge coming on: February 09, 2014, 03:50:28 AM
I've been here much longer than you, and this time the "real-world" is actually using BTC.

Oh the good ol "Date Registered" wank fest, I love it. As I said in an above post it is my belief that positive fundamental changes (such as increasing use in the "real-world") have already been priced in at $1000 coin

I see 7 straight daily red candles. Do you think it can go down everyday?

Of course prices will come and go daily. But our mid-term (4 months) trend is down, long term(1-5 yrs.) we are way way up!
IMO now isn't a great time to be going short but I'm not covering my shorts and going long yet.
1290  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think the price of bitcoin will be 1 year from today (feb 2015)? on: February 09, 2014, 03:26:04 AM
I was just about to come in here and post my prediction of aroun $8K but somebody has beat me to it!
ah well...

$8000 BTC is my conservative estimate for Feb. 2015
1291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big surge coming on: February 09, 2014, 03:03:11 AM
I don't see any links relating my strategy of cost averaging during this downward trend to any measure of inexperience...

I never said you were inexperienced, but that it is a great strategy for those who are! Going all in when you want to will rarely get you the best average price

PS...One week MACD has just crossed over for those who like to read technicals (get into it!). This along with some of my other favorite indicators tell me that BTC will have some time to cool down and go sideways/slump. Believe it or not all the great news we have heard in the past 6 months has already been priced in at $1000 BTC

1292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big surge coming on: February 09, 2014, 02:24:16 AM
Do you permabulls honestly think BTC can just go up every single day forever and ever?

Lol look at the gains we've seen in the past year alone, most who invested and see nice gains are sure as hell taking some money off the table during the exponential run-ups (30, 266, 1200 etc.)

BTC is already down ~50% (on Gox), do you really think it can keep going down every day forever and ever?   Cheesy

No but a correction only lasting 2 months isn't enough time for the BTC userbase to grow another order of magnitude/to bring the price up an order of magnitude with it. After every big run-up we see a violent correction. We have at least 2-4 months of low prices coming before the next "bubble" happens. After you've been around for a few of the "bubbles" you will start to get the hang of it and maybe even trade a bit yourself to make some extra BTC!

This is a great strategy for newbies:

I can't speculate on how low the price will go, or how long this trend will last, but I can say for certain that I'll be buying the whole way down at every opportunity.

It will take years to get 106 BTC from those shares on CT.

Not after we tapeout our 28nm and the 55nm chips start rolling in...
