1281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: IS IT SAFE TO INVEST PENSION FUNDS IN BITCOIN? on: April 23, 2023, 07:43:04 PM
I spoke to a friend about Bitcoin and he asked if it is safe to invest Pension funds in Bitcoin considering the fact that this is a retirement saving. I am skeptical of investing people's funds in this coin because it can't be predicted also we cannot overlook the fact that Bitcoin may enhance investment returns at retirement.
However, my findings from people that work in these organizations say contributor's funds in some categories can be invested in risky investments because of the high return on investment and contributors have the option to opt for this option but with the exception of the soon-to-retiree.
The risk to be aware of is that returns from bitcoin investments are never guaranteed due to various factors. If your friend invests in bitcoin for the long term, he can also practice good security on the wallet he holds, so he's likely to be able to get return when bitcoin is more expensive. But it is not recommended to invest 100% of the budget in bitcoins without having extra reserves for your urgent needs.

If your friend wants to do it, then suggest him to invest 10% to 50% of his total retirement budget. I think the returns will be worth it when bitcoin hit new ATH in the years to come. But remember, secure the storage wallet and choose the recommended wallet to store it

To be honest, I lean more towards Pep Guardiola's style. I saw Pep, full of tactics. Manchester City game, not too focused on individual skills. however, on a team play system and that's why they are so rock solid. plus, it has a scoring monster. As for Madrid, to be honest I have no doubts about Don Carlo's team. because, this team always proves that they can get out under pressure. plus. Madrid's luck factor is very high. and if, Benzema and vini Jr. are On Fire, these two players are almost difficult to stop. well, in essence I see that both teams have their respective advantages. about the results, we'll discuss it later before the match starts.
If you talk about experience and mentality, then you have to put Real Madrid ahead. But if you talk about technical strategy, then I think Pep Guardiola is also an expert. Pep and Ancelotti have won the Champions League title in their coaching history. Guardiola did it during his tenure as coach of Barcelona, but Ancelotti has proven it with two different clubs (Real Madrid and Milan).

The highlight of the semi-final match will not only be about squad depth, star players or team performance, but the success of the coach will also be highlighted to find out who is most likely to qualify for the final. While I really hope that Benzema and Vinicius won't miss those two semi final match, that means I don't expect them to be injured ahead of the match.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 23, 2023, 06:37:20 PM
The score of 1-0 has remained the final result for Barcelona in that match. And that means that Barcleona can add another clean sheet to their impressive number. I don't know off the top of my head but there are quite a few. Mallorca leads against Getafe with about 10 minutes left on the clock in total. Getafe also has very lean years, while it was still active in the EL a few seasons ago. They are far from that level at the moment. Real Madrid's arrows are logically on the CL, the competition will probably not even bother anymore and is a kind of practice campaign.

ya.ya.yo!
I don't care anymore how many scores Barcelona can score in every game the rest of the season, but I just tend to be happy when Barcelona drop points and give us a little hope to compete until the end of the season. But I no longer expect a rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona in La Liga, so shifting his focus to the Champions League or the Copa Del Rey is much more important to me.

Barcelona won't slip or drop many points in the next 8 matches, so my hopes for Real Madrid should be gone. I can say that Real Madrid's chances of winning the La Liga title this season are impossible as long as Barcelona are still 11 points ahead of us.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 23, 2023, 06:08:40 PM
Well, Tottenham's hopes of getting a ticket to the Champions League this season are dwindling and they might even lose their chance to go to the European league if they continue to play poorly in the remaining matches this season. because at this time the difference in points between Tottenham and Aston villa and Liverpool is also not much different. Even Liverpool currently has one match postponed which opens up opportunities for Liverpool to catch up with Tottenham's points. and shifted Tottenham from the top 5 in the standings.
I don't even think Tottenham's chances of qualifying for the Champions League are still there after they lost today in humiliation. It's clear Tottenham have played badly today and they have thrown away many hopes of qualifying for the Champions League after being beaten by Milan in the last 16. Personally I was surprised about the result in this match, but Newcastle did a perfect job at home today.

Now I think the Newcastle fans will be very confident in expecting their team to secure one ticket to the Champions League next season. The Premier League only has 7 matches for them in the schedule, so they just have to take advantage of each match to earn full points.

Anyway, maybe there are some of my posts that helped you in anyway possible, and I'm more than happy to know that even though I'm just an average user here.
It shouldn't be a surprise to see your name mentioned here as that I take their contribution seriously and have followed some of their footsteps to become a Bitcoin maximalist, as I have said earlier most of the names mention including yours are those that have mentored me from afar till thos very moment, most of those people were not aware or have any connection or interaction of any form before now.
Just as it's flattering to you so it will be to most of those that will get the noticifacotion of the mentioning here in this thread.

All the same, thank you for all the contributions you made here in the forum, and I am among one those who have read something helpful from you here on bitcointalk.
OP, why don't you move this thread to reputation? I mean, the follow-up discussion in your thread seems to be about the success of the trip on the forums instead of the general or specific knowledge discussion about bitcoin. I appreciate your valuable journey on the forums, it's definitely something to be proud of.

So since the discussion in the thread has led to your success then I think my suggestion of moving the thread to reputation makes sense.

Real Madrid is enjoying every moment of the game, they are in full control of the match. Taking possession and creating so many opportunities for them to net the post. Celta goal keeper is good and has stopped two shots from entering the post which one was a header from Benzema. Militao scored the second goal on the 48th minutes with a superb header which was from a corner kick. Real Madrid are still making some substitution, despite that they are in charge of the game. Celta has gotten some good opportunities which they missed. Their captain missed a one-on-one chance with Cortihnio, great save from him.  Vinicius is displaying a fantastic performance tonight, creating chances and breaking through Celta defence.
As said, it was an easy game apart from Celta Vigo's efforts to score. We must continue to have good enthusiasm and confidence in every league match even though it is almost impossible to win the title from Barcelona.

I think it's just you, while I don't think at all that Real Madrid are just training for every La Liga match to prepare for the Champions League. Should I say that's a ridiculous assumption after our title chances were lost to Barcelona's advantage? Even Real Madrid is still very likely to lose by Manchester City even if we win all La Liga games until the end of the season, so I don't agree with your assumptions.

Against Celta Vigo, Real Madrid have higher chance of winning before the match starts. Now the match is almost over, 2-0 is still standing and I think it is a match for 3 important points in La Liga. We've lost 5/30 match, that's the worst statistic in the last 4 seasons, but you can still say La Liga is practice.
Saying that Real Madrid is using the Laliga for a training session is just amusing but then, actually thinking they could lose to Manchester City in the UCL isn't any less amusing as well. Manchester City is a good team and they've got a good coach to match that but, Real Madrid as beaten them to the finals once before even with them having more than enough advantage in time and goals so, there is likely not a worst chance that they ca make this happen again, they are good for it.
I'm assuming I hope it's not as funny as the first point because I still think Manchester City is a team that won't be kidding about their chances this season. Haaland is a frightening striker, it is very difficult to stop him from scoring goals, which until now continues to create admiration on the European stage. Haaland is the top scorer in the Premier League, he is also the top scorer in the Champions League, I must be very worried about where he is.

But whatever it is, I will still feel confident that Real Madrid can overcome Manchester City both in the first leg and in the second leg. It's too soon to say, maybe but I hope we're really ready to beat him later.
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 22, 2023, 08:44:44 PM
Not a problem because the La Liga is not as competitive as the Premier League where every point is important. Before Real Madrid started this their game, I already expected a win because they have a very good record against Celta Vigo. I see Real Madrid this season as a club that is taking every La Liga game as practice game for the Champions League that they still have a chance to win.

The meeting of two big clubs from Serie A in the Champions League is indeed very interesting and worth watching. But if we follow the Serie A competition, then actually for this season Inter Milan can be said to be superior. But Inter Milan have problems in their attack. but for Inter Milan's back line it is quite solid. Even Napoli against Inter Milan in Serie A has always had trouble breaking through Inter Milan's defense which is so solid. Well different from Inter. Milan actually excels in attack and less good in defense this season.

but for the semi-final match between Milan and Inter at this time, to be honest, it will be more difficult to predict. because Both of these teams though have performed poorly in Serie in recent weeks. but they performed extraordinary in the Champions League. so their performance is really difficult to predict. and both teams are also experienced in the Champions League. So there will be a fierce fight.
Actually it's not that difficult if you follow Milan's journey this season in the Champions League. Milan is the only Serie A team that has tough opponents compared to Inter. Milan managed to beat Tottenham in the round of 16, then beat Napoli in the quarter-finals, so they should be able to beat Inter in the semi-finals and qualify for the final. But of course things are not as easy as they say, so there must be struggle and sacrifice to qualify for the final between the two teams.

I hope Milan will represent Serie A in the final against Real Madrid. That seems to be the best hope where I have to say Madrid can beat Manchester City. We have to make the most of the first leg to win a good aggregate because the second leg will be at the Etihad.
1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 21, 2023, 08:59:32 PM
They’re going to lose it, Arsenal maybe lose the championship today, this is a game they should never lose... but Southampton FC are leading 3-1 with only 10 minutes to go and the current score is unbelievable. All Manchester City players and fans get a chance today to win the next two games and be in first place in the league. Normally every City fan should be celebrating today, i’m sure they are. With the win, Southampton have a chance to stay in the Premier League, they need 2 more points.
It was too unlucky for Arsenal today to lose to a relegation zone team in front of their own fans. This score was even very unexpected since Arsenal were the favorites to win at home, but now the chance to win is open again because Martin Odegaard has reduced the deficit to 2-3 which was then followed by another goal from Saka to make it 3-3.

There is still time to see if Arsenal will win the match or if it should end in a draw. Arsenal's spirits are back on high after their successful comeback, and now is just the time to see Southampton take a point at the Emirates instead of 3. But 1 point is also not bad for Southampton.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 21, 2023, 08:37:12 PM
This must be some kind of a joke.  Grin  How can Arsenal be 3-1 behind in this match? Shouldn't it have ended with a comfortable victory for Arsenal normally? What is happening to this team? They are just continuing to throw their chances for the league championship every week. First the Liverpool match, later on the West Ham match which was the copy of the previous one.

Now we are witnessing a nightmare for Arsenal as they are losing to Southampton home with a 3-1 score. Southampton are trying to cling to the league maybe but this can't be enough for them to defeat the leader anyway. Are Arsenal really back to their old times again? I hope not. I really want to see them as the champions this season because they have been amazing in general of the season.

But this is just making things easier for Manchester City and they even have a match against each other in Etihad next time.  Sad
I don't think Arsenal are mentally strong enough to win the Premier League title under Arteta. Instead of scoring the second goal for a draw, Arsenal had to concede the third goal from Southamton. It was clear that it was a bad day for Arsenal, and now they are under even more pressure to make up for the 2-goal deficit to draw. Southampton started to defend well and avoid mistakes, but there was still 20 minutes to go before the second half.

No joke, Arsenal have been terrible on defense this game. Maybe they underestimated the relegation zone team too much, that should be enough to shock the whole stadium.
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 21, 2023, 08:32:06 PM
I think PSG were only desperate to win the Champions league which they got knocked out the group stages but coming to their league in France they have dominated for a long time and they are Strong favourite too even after dropping few points due to some poor performance they had in some matches. Two goals and a comfortable win in the first half isn't a surprise considering the team they are playing against which is already in the relegation after this season so it's a good result for PSG and a more way to extend their gap to almost 15poibts. For the Angers team, them relegation is 100% sure cause they can't escape it again, good goals for Mbappe and a wonderful assist by Messi.
Ignore PSG's chances in the Champions League as long as they don't have the squad depth that few other teams have won the title. This season they have been sorely lacking in squad depth despite having Messi, Mbappe and Neymar in their squad. But their defense and midfield are too weak to play well.

Regarding today's match, PSG is the absolute winner over the opponent Angers. PSG have been 2 goals up since the first half, but it is still possible for them to score another 1-2 goals during the second half. Mbappe scored 2 goals, I hope Real Madrid still wants to bring him to the Bernabeu next season.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 21, 2023, 08:01:15 PM
The last time Milan won the Champions League title was in the 2006-07 season. I still can't forget about that legendary Milan lineup as well. They were one of the best and strongest teams in the Champions League back in the day. After those times passed they couldn't get too close to the title here. But in the recent years things started to go their way in the Serie A first.

And now we are seeing Milan to have made it to the Champions League semi finals. They have a pretty good chance to qualify for the finale by eliminating Inter as well. Napoli were a more challenging opponent in my opinion. They still need to be very careful against Inter though. Because Inter are not in good shape in the Serie A lately maybe but they are doing very good in the Champions League.
For whatever reason, I chose Milan as the favorite to reach the Champions League final this season. Milan have proved they are a strong side since the group stage, even when I doubted them in the last 16 against Tottenham and Napoli in the quarter-finals. Milan has silenced many critics to secure a semi-final ticket, but the task now is to win the derby semi-final against Inter.

But really, I also don't underestimate Inter who made it through to the semi-finals after beating Porto and Benfica in the round of 16 and quarter-finals even though they were two easy match for them. Milan actually managed to qualify after defeating two tough opponents, so Milan is the best compared to Inter to reach the final this season.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 20, 2023, 09:28:47 PM
The possibility for Arsenal to be eliminated from the top of the standings is indeed very large if in the remaining matches this season Arsenal are unable to be consistent in winning their matches again. Especially after Arsenal against Southampton, the Arsenal team will also meet Manchester City again this month and that match is actually a match that will be quite tough for Arsenal because Manchester City continues to get better now so that Manchester City's chances of taking the top spot in the Premier League this season from Arsenal is still very wide open.
If Manchester City are able to win every remaining game this season, then it is certain that Arsenal will fail to win the title. Now this is the problem because Arsenal also seem to be able to maintain their point advantage when they meet Manchester City away from home. If Arsenal manage to avoid defeat, then of course their chances of winning the title are still very big. But in any case, Manchester City are unlikely to commit another mistake for the rest of the season as they have found a good chance to overtake Arsenal.
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 20, 2023, 09:25:43 PM
It looks like it is time for another legendary matchup between Real Madrid and Manchester City indeed. I'm very excited about this one already now.

Manchester City are stronger than ever in this season and it is without doubt for me. Can one player leave this great effect on a team? Yes he really can especially if he is Erling Haaland.  Grin  I don't think Benzema can compete with him in a race for scoring the most in this matchup. I'm aware that Benzema is much more experienced. But I don't see him performing as good as in the previous season. If he had the same kind of performance now too then it would have been even more interesting. But Haaland is really unstoppable now and I expect him to score in even both matches.

Besides I will be hoping Manchester City to advance to the finale and win the title too this time. They definitely deserve it with this effort.
Whoever wins this semi-final is the one who deserves to win the Champions League in my opinion.
Manchester City have sacrificed too much to win the Champions League title, but they have to realize we are a team more based on experience and winning titles. So no one should underestimate Real Madrid, but if Manchester City want to win the title for the first time they have to beat us (I'm not sure).

I really believe we can qualify for the final even though Manchester City has shown a lot of interest, but I can assure you that the match between Real Madrid and Manchester City is the toughest among the other semifinal matches.
1295  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason for the increase in the price of Bitcoin? on: April 20, 2023, 09:12:00 PM
~ But even if people do not understand why the economy is in a bad shape they can feel it on their pockets, as the price of everything is growing while salaries remain the same, and they are finding on bitcoin an alternative to the fiat system which has failed them.

Maybe investing all you have in Bitcoin isn't a good idea, but investing a part of your money wouldn't heart, especially today. I mean, Bitcoin will most likely reach a new ATH, like it always does, so today when the price is less than half of the previous ATH, and that shape of economy you are talking about, it's probably wise to buy some BTC. Only I would suggest to invest the money you can live without for the next year or two, just in case.
I agree that you shouldn't invest all your money in bitcoins and for me that is a better decision.
It is wise to think that bitcoin does not guarantee returns as expected even though bitcoin has proven to be the best performing asset so far. If they don't want to diversify assets, then having a cash reserve is the recommended option instead of investing everything in bitcoin. I believe bitcoin is the best option, but however we never know what will happen in the future.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 20, 2023, 09:06:27 PM
Man United's journey in the Europa League ended tragically. Instead of playing well in the second half, they even conceded because of another blunder. Sevilla really deserved this victory because they played very brilliantly. They know very well how to break the opponent's attack, and how to trick the opponent's defense.
Hmmm, Manchester United's appearance in the second leg was beyond my expectations. I think Manchester United can win the match easily, uh apparently they lost mentally to Sevilla. I could hardly believe Sevilla beat one of the favorites for the title this season 3-0, but it is a harsh reality for the fans. Sevilla's performance was great, and today they had the stage fully stocked to show some jokes about De Gea and Maguire.

My two cen for Manchester United are, disappointing plus embarrassing.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 19, 2023, 08:51:35 PM
It is over for Bayern, the next game will be tougher for both teams. Manchester City will play against the defending champions Real Madrid and it will be even tougher for Manchester City than they have had against Bayern. Inter Milan with their strong victory will play against AC Milan for the fourth and fifth time this season and that game is unpredictable too because the three times have met this season, AC Milan won two of the three games with Inter Milan winning one. Congratulations to Pep, his dream of winning the Champions League is getting closer to possible.
I did the brackets, Milan and Inter in the semi-finals, Real Madrid and Manchester City too. Next I put Real Madrid and Milan in the Champions League final and Real Madrid are the title winners, of course.

I don't see Manchester City as a big threat to Real Madrid because I'm optimistic that Real Madrid can handle it well. But let's look forward to the semi-finals because I don't think Bayern Munich will be able to afford an epic comeback today.

If you and others are interested, you can try here.

1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 19, 2023, 08:24:04 PM
Meanwhile, Manchester City will also try to play it safe in this second leg after winning 0-3 on aggregate. But whatever the reason, Bayern Munich will definitely try to play a more attacking scheme instead of giving up on their chances. Bayern Munich are expecting a miracle in this match, but I think their chances of qualifying are very low.
Opportunities for Bayern are very slim. they need a miracle to score many goals in this match. but I saw Bayern in this game quite amazing. They continued to carry out high-intensity attacks and pressure on the Man City defense area. and Man city continued to be pressed in the match this time. or rather Man City did survive more in this match. even though I think Man city can play better than this. and they can add to the lead. if they continue to survive it will only give Bayern a chance in this match.
Bayern Munich has a good chance to score and win this match, but due to the high aggregate I think it will be very difficult for them to qualify for the semifinals. Even Bayern Munich have not scored a single goal until the second half despite playing more intensely than the first leg.

I also confirmed that Manchester City tended to defend in the second leg instead of playing very attacking like the first leg. Maybe that was Guardiola's plan for this match, but whatever it is, Manchester City are very dangerous when they have chances.

And now Haaland has paid for his missed penalty in the first half. Aggregate changed 0-4.

I think Manchester City are too comfortable with their advantage that their performance is not like the first leg. But until entering the first 30 minutes, the game was still a 0-0 draw. Instead of Bayern Munich, I tend to hope for Manchester City as a team that will qualify and meet Real Madrid in the semi-finals this season.
Manchester City are unlikely to qualify for the semi-finals after going 3-0 up.
Really? I do not know what you mean.  Cheesy
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 19, 2023, 07:34:20 PM
Basically Inter have won on aggregate, so even though in this match Inter only got a draw and or maybe Inter lost but only with a score of 1-0. So of course, this result will still qualify Inter for the semifinals, so in this second leg I'm sure Inter won't try harder to beat Benfica because that will only consume a lot of energy.

Except, if Benfica can score two quick goals, then of course Inter will make a bigger effort to get through. But at this moment Inter have won with a score of 2-0 on aggregate, so I believe Inter are in a safe position because Inter will only maintain the aggregate win they already have.
But by the way, now less than 25 minutes after the match started, Inter already have one goal which means Inter are currently 3-0 up. So yes, with a result like this, then of course Inter will qualify for the semifinals and will play against Milan.
Move your channels, I think the Bayern Munich and Manchester City match was really tense. Bayern Munich were very good from the first half, they had some good chances to score, but finishing is the problem at the moment. Manchester City's players made several mistakes in defense and Bayern Munich almost took advantage of them to make up for the goal deficit.

1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 19, 2023, 07:20:21 PM
A draw is enough for Inter to move to the quarter finals. Benfica shouldn't be difficult for Inter to defeat at their home stadium even if Inter decides to rest some players. The odd is pretty good with no cause for alarm, there is high chance Inter will find the back of the net in today's match, if they could get a two away goals then their home stadium should be more advantageous to them.
Inter have many advantages to win today's match. An aggregate advantage of 2 goals from Benfica will make them comfortable to play loose without much burden, but Inter must not underestimate Benfica. In fact I think Inter will win this match instead of drawing, it will make the chances of qualifying for the semi-finals even better.
