Clubs usually don't wait for any players, while in a position where a player is needed, the club immediately fills the void with an experienced player, but in the case of Real Madrid, we see something different. Real Madrid have yet to fill the void left by Karim Benzema. Real Madrid are willing to wait a season but they are not willing to sign another striker. If Real Madrid appoints a main striker in their team, it will surely be Mbappe. Without Karim Benzema, Real Madrid have become a bit of a haphazard team, but without Mbappe, Real Madrid are not thinking about anything. Real Madrid may have planned to sign a good striker, albeit a little late.
Is only Mbappe suitable to replace Benzema? No, I don't think it's just Mbappe.
Real Madrid certainly have good options to consider if they are to quickly find a replacement for Benzema, but I don't see them wanting to rush things. However, I also believe that Real Madrid need a striker urgently given that they are not doing so well without Benzema. Mbapee is certainly good, but Madrid doesn't need to wait until his contract expires.

While it makes sense to wait for Kylian Mbappe to arrive on a free at the end of next season, I don't think that's the best way for Real Madrid to do it. The team needs a lot of strength in attack to win matches and also to maintain any chance of winning the title but if Real Madrid ignores that then they will be risking something without the title.

The start of the season was good enough for Barcelona to steal the standings while Madrid's condition was still inconsistent. Against Atletico Bilbao was not easy and Ancelotti had to show the results of his players' training in that match. Still without Arda Guller so I hope he recovers quickly from his injury and can help attack. Real Madrid's schedule will be packed so it is hoped that the new players will be able to provide a better boost than last season.
Real Madrid will certainly have to be careful enough for their maiden outing for La Liga at San Mamés. Atletic Bilbao is not an easy opponent to beat, so of course Real Madrid must be prepared enough to anticipate whatever will happen in the match. I don't mind how long Arda Güler has been out injured, the fact that he is a recent signing is not much to be expected.

I can expect Real Madrid to have a good performance in their first La Liga game. Vinicius, Rodrygo and Bellingham can be expected to trouble Bilbao's defense. Federico Valverde can also help in attack, so I don't have to be so pessimistic about the match in the coming days.

Can't wait for the Premier League to roll around again, now there are only a few days left, at the weekend we can enjoy Premier League matches.

Burnley is a team rising to the Premier League, their chances of winning with Manchester City are few, but it is not impossible that there is no resistance from Burnley, I think it must be interesting.

Currently the odds offered by the bookies are also too far between them but clearly the victory is in favor of Manchester City.
Considering that Manchester City is a team that has quality players, then of course Manchester City's chances of winning the match are higher than Burnley. But it's true that sometimes the seeded team can't always win 3 points during the game, even if Burnley doesn't have a high chance of winning it.

I will never guarantee Manchester City to win their first game over Burnley but I still believe they have a good chance to win the game without any problems. Burnley are playing at home, so they should be well motivated to do their best.

Yes, Benzema's contribution is indeed very high, we have seen how his contribution and influence is at the club, especially when competing on the field. He's like a soul. It is clear how different the team is when Benzema is there and not when the club is playing. And at the moment, there is no substitute for Benzema who is in line with expectations, so Real Madrid's performance has indeed declined significantly, even though they have bought several young players, this is not enough to say that Real Madrid is ready to compete with other big clubs in the world.
So far I only feel that Kylian Mbappe is a suitable striker to replace Benzema at Real Madrid. But I don't see Real Madrid really serious about wanting to sign Mbappe quickly before the 2023-2024 season starts, that will obviously make Real Madrid's chances not as good as expected.

I realize that Real Madrid is very weak without Benzema. Bellingham, Vinicius and Rodrygo are certainly good, but that won't help all season given the very tight fixture schedule.

Harry Kane looks like he will almost stay with Tottenham until the end of his contract because Tottenham again rejected an offer from Bayern Munich for the third time. I think Bayern Munich will give up on chasing harry kane and will wait until the contract is over to be able to bring Harry kane to the Allianz Arena stadium.

If Harry Kane goes to Bayern Munich, Harry Kane can automatically play in the Champions League this season. However, Levy really kept Harry Kane from staying with Tottenham because Levy refused all offers that came to recruit Harry Kane. Some even say that if Tottenham let Harry Kane go then Tottenham will face serious problems this season where they have to fight from the relegation zone (this is really quite a funny opinion but shocking to hear)
I don't know exactly why Tottenham insisted on not selling Kane for 100 million to Bayern Munich. Based on the latest reports, Tottenham rejected the offer so Bayern Munich had to take another approach. Kane shouldn't be worth that much I guess, but Tottenham seem to be selling too much for this striker.

Honestly that I really believe Kane's sale price will be even lower at the end of next season. It may not be worth another 100 million next year when he turns 30 and over, but Tottenham seem to have that in mind now. Regardless of Kane's situation attracting Bayern Munich's interest, I believe Kane does not deserve to be worth more than 100 million, that is too much of a price for a striker without a title.

Real madrid has more disadvantages next season compared with barcelona.

- Old and underperform players
- Lost its best striker (Benzema contributed a lot last season)

It makes me feel that if real madrid may be trophyless in upcoming season. Im feeling if barcelona looks like superior compared with real madrid. The results from pre season matches were very disappointing for me as madrid fans. My expectation for real madrid especially josely and bellingham were too big.
Madrid can always rely upon vini. this guy is always becoming a player with most contribution to the club. Real madrid is also having garbage backs.

The result against juventus told me a lot of madrid really needs a new right back at this moment. Some players are losing their prime.

Vini and valverde were the only players that still consistent at this moment.
I don't deny your opinion, it seems to be true about Real Madrid next season.
Ancelotti will of course work hard to make up for the flaws, but I think he won't be as good as he was in the last few seasons because he has one year left on his contract. Real Madrid is in danger of being without a title next season, be it La Liga or the Champions League as well as several other domestic titles, but I have hopes for everyone there to be able to do their best.

Barcelona tend to be better in terms of form, but I don't think they are fully prepared if one or two of their main players get injured. Barcelona don't have as many players on the bench as the starting XI, but they certainly have a bit of an edge.

Surprisingly Juventus are not very aggressive in hunting for players in the transfer market this time, no one knows for sure whether it has something to do with the club's finances or the rules that limit Juventus. There are still many weaknesses in several positions and this will make it difficult for Allegri to keep up with the games of other teams and the loss of several players will also make Juventus weak next season in the competition for the top five league.
Manuel Locatelli, Moise Kean, Timothy Weah and Arkadiusz Milik are 4 players who are known to be Juventus' latest recruits. Of course Juventus don't spend a lot of money to bring in expensive players, but so far Juventus have spent at least 77 million euros more for these 4 players.

They are not as aggressive as some of the other teams eyeing expensive players, but I think Juventus are struggling financially so they don't try to sign expensive players like some of their previous transfers. I don't know exactly if Juventus are in financial trouble, but my guess seems to be right. But that's not the case as long as Juventus are able to have a good form next season.

Getting the Champions League title is not as easy as other domestic leagues, the Champions League is a collection of great teams all over Europe so it will not be easy for Barcelona to achieve that dream even though they have brought their team to a great performance.

The Champions League has a different sensation and the mentality of coaches and players is still influential if they do not have deep experience in the UCL, I believe Barcelona this time will be better to go to UCL even though the previous season could only stop at the group stage.
You are of course right there especially about the Champions League competition. All the participants who qualify for the group stages are the best teams in Europe from their respective leagues and of course they also hope to impress and win something.

Barcelona need time to win the Champions League title, but maybe Xavi can make it happen if he really has players who can play well every game. Luck also plays an important role in his quest for the title, but team performance is a good yardstick for determining probabilities.

I have strong belief in Barca this upcoming season and I know since they didn't qualify for the champions league last season,
Please stop there, tell me when was the last time Barcelona didn't qualify for the Champions League?
As far as I know and remember, Barcelona have qualified for the Champions League every season for the last 10 seasons, but they may not have made it to the last 16 last season.

I certainly agree that Xavi wants to bring Barcelona back to the peak of its glory in the Champions League by winning titles. But anyway, it must be difficult even though Barcelona's form so far has been better under Xavi. It doesn't matter how well Barcelona performed last season in La Liga, but the Champions League is very different.

The owner of Newcastle United is Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. And now Newcastle are the richest club in the Premier League. At the same time, the Public Investment Fund is also ready to spend a lot of money. But the Newcastle management is very experienced. They want to stabilize the team slowly. And I'd say the Newcastle management wouldn't be wrong to trust coach Eddie Howe.

Newcastle management did not spend much money. And they didn't include any star players in the squad. They added Sandro Tonali and Harvey Barnes to the squad. And both of them are midfielders and young players. I guess coach Eddie Howe has different plans. He wants to build the team fit to win the Champions League title in the next few years. And so he is investing money in young players.
Of course there is always a plan behind a team's approach to its player transfer policy from season to season. Newcastle have developed well under Eddie Howe, but I believe he needs to build a better team than he is now if he has ambitions of winning the Premier League title or the Champions League. Eddie Howe is certainly in no rush to do so as long as the management still trusts him, but the fact is that Newcastle have been the better team step by step.

I'm curious about Newcastle in the coming season, of course after they have qualified for the Champions League. Eddie Howe may don't expect too high in Champions League, but still he will do his best to test and try to go as far as they can.

Napoli might need the money, what if Victor Osimhen doesn't need it for now? It takes the two to agree on this and I don't know how the guy would agree to such a contract that could affect his career for life. He is still very young with a very bright future, and could still move to at least 3 other clubs to try his luck in the Champions League and others before he proceeds for such an offer that is centred on money. I will never advise him to move from Europe for now, career building is still more important and the huge monetary offer will still later come.
Maybe in the end Napoli will let Victor Osimhen go to another team that offers some money that is hard to refuse. I also don't expect Victor Osimhen to move from European competition to another competition like the Arab Pro League which pays a lot of money for players like Victor Osimhen, but Victor Osimhen would be great to stay in Europe for at least 3 - 6 seasons from now.

We all don't know about the future, but I'm sure Osimhen won't be leaving Napoli anytime soon. Napoli want to keep him so they can provide tough competition in Serie A and the Champions League next season, so that's why I'm sure Osimhen isn't going anywhere.

Newcastle needs to bring in some quality players ahead of the start of the new season, this season the competition in the EPL is very competitive, the clubs that failed to finish in the top four last season have made big changes in order to maintain competition in the top positions while competing to finish in first place. Newcastle will also play in the Champions League this season, a stronger team is needed to survive in the competition.
Other teams are in the process of forming new forces, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have already spent large sums of money fighting for the best positions. Newcastle must immediately bring in great players to survive at the top of the standings while at the same time making a surprise in the Champions League.
Newcastle are not in a rush to build their squad as fast as Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United so far. Nonetheless, Newcastle have signed two important players that they have prioritized. Newcastle have spent 110 million euros on these two players (Sandro Tonali and Harvey Barnes), but I'm sure they will bring in more players as the team develops.

Newcastle's transfer approach has been excellent even though they are known to have a big budget from their new owners. It seems that Newcastle really want their existing players to continue to improve their quality rather than buying more high-value star players, but it certainly doesn't matter as long as the quality and performance of the team is consistent enough like last season.

Its 76th Independence day for Pakistan and good thing is we are growing on this forum also. Thanks to one of our very active member Hamza2424 (he is active 24x7x365), we constantly get out monthly stats on time. Here are our recent monthly stats https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=232519.msg62646329#msg62646329. We have 38 active members in our community and chances are we be getting our board very soon. Fingures are crossed on this independence day.
But wait, doesn't Pakistan's independence day fall on Monday, August 14, 2023?

I'm not entirely sure how long it took the admin to approve your and your community's request to get your own local board. Nigeria appears to be the last local board that has been added, but I hope the local Pakistani board community will get one too. So far 38 active users who can post regularly in Pakistan seems low, but if your local community grows stronger over time then it is very likely that you will get your own local board for Pakistan.
874  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can 1 satoshi be worth $1 in the future? on: August 04, 2023, 08:20:30 PM
OP, I'd say $1 for 1 Satoshi it's possible if bitcoin actually can consistently hit its latest ATH every 4 year cycle. If scarcity could make the price go up due to demand, then one day the price of 1 satoshi would be $1. But long before that arrives, I hope that 1 satoshi will be worth $0.001 first and will increase gradually with the test of time.

I really can't imagine when 1 Satoshi was worth $1, but maybe for bitcoin in the long term. But I never expected that 1 Satoshi would soon be worth 1$ if bitcoin and crypto industry was continuously attacked by regulators. For something to make sense, let's imagine $200k to ATH on bitcoin in the next bullish season after the halving.

Of course, whether it's a friendly match or an official match, it doesn't matter for El Classico, but I think a little less importance is given to the friendly match. At least Ancelotti gave me that impression. He is currently looking for the most suitable combination for his team and so he tries a lot of tactics and players in each match. When we create the best roster rotation with these players, we can watch the real El Classico.
You may be right that in the end friendly matches are more or less only used to test players' mentality and test some strategies. Ancelotti has several new players he will need to capitalize on next season following several departures from his old players. Joselu got his chance, so did Bellingham and the others.

But whatever the results of the friendly matches during pre-season, I think Ancelotti already has a good plan for next season. I believe Ancelotti is still trying to find the right solution to his striker shortage after Benzema left, but I hope Joselu can provide him with an alternative instead of relying solely on Bellingham as an attacking midfielder.

I think have three teams are strong candidate for winning Premier League season 2023/24 are Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
How about the chances of Manchester United and Chelsea?
Why don't you think these two teams deserve to be on the list of favorites for the title next season?

Manchester United and Ten Hag have proven their quality last season, so many people shouldn't underestimate their chances in the race for the Premier League title next season. After all, Chelsea and Pochettino will also compete for the top spot, so in the end there are several teams worth considering if you want to determine the favorite.

It should not be forgotten that El Classco is a friendly match. Therefore, it would be wrong to think that Real Madrid suffered a heavy defeat against Barcelona. Almost all the players changed and Barcelona won 3-0 after scoring 2 goals in the last minutes. This is good for them, of course, but I don't know if it's enough for La Liga, which is a long marathon.
Of course it was a friendly game, but basically a game taken seriously. We don't just accept defeat against Barcelona without putting up a good fight, but Real Madrid were really unlucky in that match. Therefore, Ancelotti may need to find a good solution for next season so as not to be beaten by Barcelona again in La Liga matches or other competitions. Barcelona has changed because of Xavi even though they will never win over Real Madrid forever.

La Liga is certainly different from friendly matches, but if you believe in the prestige of the two teams in the match, then really it is like an official match to win 3 points for each team. El Clasico is different from other matches regardless of whether it is a friendly match or an official match.
878  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN NEED NEW MONEY AS MUCH AS HALVING TO SEE SUSTAINED HIGH PRICES on: August 03, 2023, 09:46:25 PM

Don't forget there are thousands of sleeping bitcoin in wallets that are supposed to belong to whales. These wallets have tendency to shake the whole crypto market with just moment.
But not all of those bitcoins are still transferable as there is always a chance that some of them will lose access to the wallet and the bitcoins you see can no longer be sold. Just curious, but how many whale purses did you see?

As far as halving s concerned, everyone is looking at it as the next main event which will take Bitcoin to next ATH. The reason for this believe is the historical data that says after every halving Bitcoin price goes up.
Everyone seems to have been waiting for that momentum and I'm sure most of the investors will be taking profits in that area later. Of course a few things will prevent bitcoin from reaching new ATHs especially from a fear point of view of new investors who may lose millions of dollars on this investment, but trading will not be around them forever.

Osimhen's current market value is €120m, but I assume Napoli set a minimum transfer fees around €150m. It is surely a huge amount of money, only big clubs like Real Madrid or PSG that can pay the transfer fees. I also doubt that AC Milan or Inter Milan is interested to sign Osimhen, they may prefer to sign cheaper strikers. There are still many other strikers who have cheaper prices although the prices of most players are getting higher right now.

We don't know what the plan for Osimhen, but I think Napoli is better to sell him as soon as possible. I am not sure Napoli still can perform as well as the last season, Osimhen price will decrease if Napoli performance is decreasing. Unless getting a bigger money in the next transfer window, the top clubs may be not interested anymore with Osimhen. Napoli must let him leaving in the current transfer window if they want sell him at the best price.
I think you are right about the Osimhen situation, but Napoli seem more confident about keeping Osimhen than selling him. Osimhen can help Napoli to defend their title next season, but I doubt Napoli will repeat its success again without Osimhen.

In the end Napoli may need to accept another team's proposal for Osimhen if the player does not want to stay. I'm sure Osimhen won't be able to maintain the same form as last season, so Napoli should also consider selling him instead of having to apply for a longer contract extension. 120 million euros is a fantastic value, so Napoli has nothing to lose to release him to interested teams.

Finally, PSG won a friendly game and this time they were playing against Jeonbuk, however, this South Korean team was not strong enough to stand against PSG and the superstars they have but still maybe the good thing about this game was PSg finally showing good performance with Neymar, even if they didn't have Mbappe and Messi but for this game Neymar was enough to win this game and he scored one goal. Maybe Neymar is going to have a good return in the next season after the last season he lost.
Neymar has good form as one of PSG's forwards, but he has been prone to injuries each season which has forced him to be on the treatment table. That has taken a toll on his form where in the end he has been distracted form back into the squad, and I think that is the problem at PSG.

You don't have to take my word for it, but Neymar's goal stats each season says it all. Had Neymar not had so many injuries then I think he would have had better stats on that.
