1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: September 24, 2022, 01:02:14 AM
Ancajas indeed see how Martinez work, I believe Ancajas can absorb Martinez's strong punches without any problem, we have seen it in their first match.  Now all Ancajas need to do is not to get in a brawl and use his jobs and straight frequently.  I don't know if Ancajas has the power to knock out Martinez but Ancajas must outpunch Martinez and dictate the tempo of the fight.  Ancajas is taller and probably has a longer reach, so he should use that to his advantage.

I agree though that if only Ancajas is not overtrained during that fight and he is in good condition, he can absorb all the punches that Martinez will throw no matter how strong it is. Just look at him being able to finish the whole 12 rounds even struggling and not in his usual condition.

However, we can't hide the fact that Martinez is also good. He surely knows that Ancajas is now working on maintaining his good shape that's why I'm expecting him to also do some adjustments like what Ancajas is preparing right now.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 24, 2022, 12:53:57 AM
So I don't think that Butler can go the whole 12 rounds. It will really be a punishment and maybe his team will throw in the towel because they don't want Paul to get ruin by so much punches he will get from Inoue if ever it will go to the distance and they will still lost in the judges card.

His team might not get even a chance to throw that towel because Inoue is so quick that they will not know when is the right time to throw that towel to stop the fight. The moment they will throw the towel, Butler might already kiss the floor.

No disgrace to Butler or to any fans here that we are throwing speculations like that. It's just that, that's the close thing to happen. Yes, Inoue is also a human and they have the same weight as Butler but the former's built is really something that no one in Bantamweight can match against him.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 24, 2022, 12:49:43 AM
Have you guys noticed that there's almost no crowd watching live games in the PBA now? Too bad since its rival MPBL is jam-packed every game as i noticed, if this will continue i think the PBA will be disbanded.

Isn't it normal that nobody watches the elimination games of PBA? It is only jam-packed during playoffs and when Ginebra is playing. That is why they are heavily favored by the commissioners because they pull the crowd.

I have not watched MPBL and how much they pull the crowd but if what you are saying is true, then MPBL can be the future of basketball in the Philippines. Lately, the complaints against how PBA is being run are getting more and more and louder and louder.

It will be a big disgrace for basketball fans to see the PBA disbanded, it's our pride that this is the first league in Asia. So it will be a shame that because the commissioner has failed to do everything in his power to keep it. But I think league owners will not let this thing happen.

I remember that there were also a rival league in the early 2000's (I forgot what's it called then), it try to challenge the PBA but it didn't have enough backing up from the fans.

I like MPBL because there's not much politics yet. But believed me, if they will reach the same status as PBA, more politics will be seen here. Smiley

Aside from that, MPBL is almost free to watch and even those people who are just walking to buy "toyo and suka" from a sari-sari store can pass by to watch and go out anytime and then come back watching. Cheesy If not free, the ringside price is just around Php 120 at most. In other words, people are just watching here as how they watch a "Brgy. Liga". That's why there are more people watching here live.

I hope MPBL will not turn into PBA soon. It's good to see as it is.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 24, 2022, 12:44:05 AM
Well, sad to say about the GSW, they didn't managed to keep the whole championship roster that they've got before as they need to release a few of them and do some trades.

I don't think that's a problem for Golden State Warriors as their core lineup is still intact.

Yes, I agree that those who departed are key players but not to the extent that releasing them will turn this team into the worst one.

The Warriors are still having their championship lineup.

^ They just resigned Andre Iguodala to another year, his 19th season in the league. His response when asked about it was funny. He said to tell Stephen Curry this is definitely his last year. I don’t envision him playing many minutes this season, but I can see him being a Udonis Haslem type player there to help out in the locker room and keep the guys’ heads on straight.

Just read this news and it's a good decision for him to still consider 1 more season. The warriors also did a great move.

He can still play I believed and not just hug the bench as an advisor like Udonis Haslem. But yes, we are not talking about around 10 MPG here. Cheesy
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 23, 2022, 11:59:35 PM
The Canelo - GGG fight had gathered a lot of attention.  Even non-fans of the two become curious so I think the given numbers are true, there might be some discrepancy but I think it is negligible.  I also think that it should be more than the numbers since there is a possibility of late reports from their affiliates and other contacts.

If that's the figures then so be it. We don't have to give doubts about it.

It's already big and we can see that even though this match is between a prime boxer against an almost retired legend, there are still lots of people who want to witness the fight, and as you said, even non-boxing fans because both names are big and popular.

It should be supposed to be big but we don't have any other legit reference to prove that. Aside from that, there are lot of free streaming links that was shared online and it's now easy to find.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: regulating cryptocurrency on: September 23, 2022, 11:59:27 PM
Why are many governments not regulating cryptocurrency?

Because it's not that simple to regulate crypto as in the first place, crypto has no central authority. How can the government put legality to touch crypto where in the first place they don't own it? They can just regulate it if the country will accept crypto as legal tender or just ban crypto in that country.

Instead, what the government can do is regulate crypto exchanges and other crypto-related services the same as how banks comply with the country's law.
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 23, 2022, 11:59:21 PM
There is a high chance that a rematch is bound to happen first regardless of the result, I don't think that Spence or Crawford will just move-on without having a second bout to try and settle their scores. Also, a rematch clause was stated and that's expected as this is an undisputed fight and a measurement on who's really the best boxer in the welterweight division.

I also believed that a rematch will happen regardless of the result. It will be unfinished business if a winner of this match won't reach the 2 wins. It's already a tradition that a rivalry should be settled not just in a single fight but with a rematch.

The only reason I think that a rematch will not happen is if the fight is not close enough and there's a clear winner that no need for a rematch.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gacha Game on: September 23, 2022, 11:58:58 PM
Anyone here played games like FGO, Epic Seven, or Summoners War before? Do you consider it to be some kind of gambling addiction if a player whales or spend tons of money in the game just to get a certain item?

For those who don't know, a gacha game is a genre of video game where players pull, spin, or roll using an in-game currency to receive a random item. That item can be something that could make their characters stronger or sometimes it's just some limited skin which has no effect other than to make their characters look cooler.

I admit to spending lots of money on this kind of game feature even today. Literally, I'm gambling as not all the time, I will get what I wanted on that gacha. Sometimes I feel frustrated that even after spending lots of money, I still can't get my favorite item.

But on the other hand, if I get what I wanted, I feel happy. That's worth my money in my own preference. Smiley
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What are the most developing play to earn games right now on: September 23, 2022, 11:57:15 PM
I need the list of the most developing games on the blockchain right now, I think 50% of my crypto portfolio will be play to earn games.

Axie Infinity is still in its active development today. Meta teams are now also cheap and you can buy the best one at a lower price. However, SLP seems don't have a chance to experience again another price hype but AXS is good for scalping.

Do you consider price as one of the factor on deciding what games to be pick?
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: testnet airdrops on: September 21, 2022, 11:51:03 PM
oh. just to test network?? then the tokens on the test net has no value you mean??

That's why it is a test. It's a form of supporting the project in its early stage. Like the usual airdrops before although mechanics are now different.

If you found it worth your time, it's your decision to participate in those.

Much better to be involved on their discussion channel and talk with their community to see if it's worth continuing involving there.
1291  Economy / Economics / Re: What define your success, "money, fame or achievement"? on: September 21, 2022, 11:46:14 PM
CONCLUSION
Let's stop making money and fame the only measure for success. Being successful is being happy and satisfied with ones fully achieved dreams. Money cannot buy satisfaction and happiness. Satisfaction and happiness is the true definition of success and anyone without this can not be declare as being successful.

People have different definitions of success. If they think that's about money and fame, then so be it. We don't have to argue about that and make it a big deal.

We don't know the difficulties they faced in their life, the challenges they face, and the worst thing they have experienced.

If after overcoming those and they are able to earn big money and fame and they called it a success, that's their achievement and just respect their views.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 21, 2022, 11:43:33 PM
So it seems that that Kawhi is really building up his physique in preparation this season, those huge legs will obviously help him to stay injury free (hopefully).

And as I have said previously, he shouldn't be treated as fragile and be on the minute restriction, well in the first couple of his comeback games, maybe. But as he gets back to the gruelling 82 games he should be at least playing more minutes for the Clippers. They need to maximized their big 3, not preventing them to play and have fun.

Kawhi's load management might be the reason why he dealt with some injuries Cheesy Look at those players who averaging 30 MPG and playing the entire games in a season, not injury-prone because they are now used to doing it. For who are those players, don't ask me. Smiley

Anyways, it does not seem a good tactic now to put Kawhi on load management unlike during his tenure in Toronto Raptors where he's really the key on that team. I agree with you that Clippers should just allow their Big 3 to go all out.

My concern is, Paul George and John Wall, are known for being injury prone. Hope they will be healthy the entire season.

We already have a thread the list for good crypto gambling site along with their bonuses and promotions, I just can’t see the thread but I’m sure someone already shared it here, just browse on that list and try at least 3 new sites until you find your comfort site.

Or if some users feel that those threads are outdated (I didn't search for them), anyone can refer to the project that is being managed by @efialtis;

https://www.btcgosu.com/

It's a review site that is not being influenced or paid for by a gambling site.

Almost all information here is spoonfeeding already and no question should be asked, at most.
1294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invitation to teach Bitcoin in a school on: September 21, 2022, 11:27:51 PM
What a good initiative you did there. Just continue spreading awareness about bitcoin in your place.

Anyways, on that 1 1/2 hour of bitcoin class, you managed, do all students still at focus and showing interest to learn more until the end? If this is the first time they heard of it, they might end up not interested at the start of the class. How's their approach to bitcoin? How did you start your class in a way that all of them will focus and listen to their new subject?

Thanks for giving your time there despite your busy work schedule. Keep it up!
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: September 19, 2022, 11:59:31 PM
Alright, is my understanding is correct here?

If Zurdo Ramirez will win the fight here, is he will be the one that Canelo will now faced?

Correct me if I'm wrong as it seems it's not sense to have a rematch with Bivol if he will lose here.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 19, 2022, 11:59:26 PM
This time, I don't think Ginebra will win the championship again despite having Brownlee who is undeniably a good import, why? Because with a healthy Fajardo, he can still dominate inside and with the help of their import, it will be easier for him. If we have a championship odds now, I'm guessing SMB will be the top favorites to win.

SMB is like having 2 imports in the upcoming conference now that JuneMar Fajardo is playing like in his prime. In the last conference, he is consistent in doing a monster performance from eliminations, quarterfinals, and semi-finals up to the Finals. Only an import can stop him but if that's the case, how can teams able to stop the real import of SMB?

SMB is like a tough team to beat again. CJ Perez is also playing in his prime and Terrene Romeo might return next conference. There are also other big men in the SMB that is tough to guard like Mo Tautaa and Vic Manuel. A powerhouse team.

I agree with that, they are the powerhouse team now because Fajardo is healthy already. Mo Tautua alone can give problem to an import, so the import of the SMB is so lucky that he does not have to carry the team or defend well as there are other players that could do that.

And SMB's import is also a big man. I don't know how other teams will compete at a much powerhouse SMB. CJ Perez is also playing at a top level of his career. He is dangerous even Terrence Romeo will not come back next season.

SMB is again will be the Favorite to win the championship for sure
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 19, 2022, 11:58:35 PM
We don't know what happened in the negotiation, because they kept most of the details the most important thing now is the fight will finally push through, the Canelo - GGG did not live up to our expectations I'm sure this fight will, and what a way to set the date, at the last quarter of the year if there's enough action, drama and it lives up to the hype then this fight could possibly be one of the candidates for the fight of the year.

After this secret conversation, I hope the final decision will now be officially signed.

We are waiting for this fight for several months. They should treat the boxing community with a good news. Smiley
1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 19, 2022, 11:57:19 PM
Naoya Inoue is now closer to becoming an undisputed bantamweight champion. What do you think guys, will he move up now to the featherweight division after that, or he will stay as bantamweight to accept more challenges here?

For me, he should moved up.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 18, 2022, 11:59:40 PM
^ Due to Golovin prolonging the fight and failing to knock him out, the fight was expected to go Canelo's way; therefore, the decision would go against GGG.

You can't blame the old guy here, he is fighting against prime Canelo who is the undisputed champion in that division.

GGG is trying his best to win at every round but it's not a simple task to do. Canelo won't surely allow that to happen. Still, we saw GGG lasted for a 12-round even way past his prime. Canelo is also exhausted and that means he also has difficulty destroying GGG.

What a Great match! We are lucky to witness this match that will be cemented in boxing history from now on.
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should newbies Invest in new Projects on: September 18, 2022, 11:59:28 PM
the thing that distinguishes those who have been in trading for a long time and those who are beginners is experience and the courage to make decisions. no need to be afraid even if you are a newbie, but ask yourself if you are ready to risk a new project which is usually rugpull and scam. but that's not all, some or a few of them do generate extraordinary profits.

Being afraid is just usual. Simple as it is, if a newbie doesn't understand the risks, no need to jump right away at those new projects. Before investing, they should depend on their own research and not they will put money on new projects because of hype. That

We can't really say that a new project will bloom soon. It's really risky to consider investing in them. If afraid, then change plans and start trading. Choose those coins that already rocking the market and try to learn to trade on the way. That's a good option compared to risking money on new projects.
