12921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which altcoin would be bitcoins likely replacement ? on: December 30, 2015, 10:40:24 AM
Litecoin is the safe haven coin.  Volume good, liquidity good.  No problems getting in or out.
12922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question about the release of Darkcoin/Dashcoin on: December 30, 2015, 10:10:48 AM
Edited my post to...

Dash was ninja mined by the dev himself.  I say good job to that.  Long term success sacrificed for short term gain.  That says a lot about the dev.

It could be good for you if you know how to trade and profit from it.  If you're a miner, I'm not sure if it's profitable for a newcomer to mine it.

Agree with XRP.  NXT also seems to be starting to move up to.

Yes: I notice that myself. The last dump was prompted by a big squabble between the core devs and a Nxt heavyweight, so this rise could be real: shaking off the aftereffects.

NXT doesn't need Tenessee.  A rising price is enough for people to notice.
12925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to start building a coin on: December 30, 2015, 01:22:35 AM
Yup.  You sure can.  A lot of people here are very excited on what you could come up with.  Make sure to hire a good marketing guy.  Good luck!
12926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: December 30, 2015, 01:18:38 AM
got an email today that the dedicated stellar forum stellartalk is going to shut down by the end of the year. says everything about this coin. RIP

I saw it on twitter they were indeed shutting down for good after amassing a lot of money.

^ Lol.  What?
12927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AEON] Aeon Speculation on: December 29, 2015, 11:46:40 AM
Or could be the same one fooling around.

Anyway, how's the daily trading volume and liquidity of Aeon?

Bottom hit?  Watch NXT.  There's no breakout as of now, but t's good to put in your watchlist.

12930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: December 29, 2015, 04:43:07 AM
And Etherex.  I hope it's something like what the Ripple exchange has where you can execute cross currency payments on the fly.
12931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Centralized NXT IS BEING DEAD on: December 29, 2015, 03:00:56 AM
Can you make a more detailed post about that?  Something a non-technical person can understand.
12932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: December 29, 2015, 12:04:27 AM
I think the thing going for Ethereum is it's attracting the builders/developers first, which I think is their no. 1 priority.  And Microsoft offering cloud blockchain services is good for infrastructure for the said builders.  It would make it easier for them to start creating stuff on Ethereum.

But Ethereum's longterm success remains to be seen.  But honestly I like what they're up to and I'm pretty excited on what people can build on it.  This one caught my eye http://www.slock.it.  Check it out.

12933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE superSLEEPERS : good Alt Coins going unnoticed : [Long Term Investments] on: December 28, 2015, 11:57:04 PM
Wtf are you talkng about?

We're talking about our holding, of course. Wink

Seriously, though: James has put in a lot of development work and it's coming to fruition. True, it's illiquid but a sleepers sometimes is illiquid because few people have heard of it. Granted that illiquidity makes for more risk than the norm, but BTCD still falls under the rubric of a high-risk speculation with potential.

Lol.  Ok.  I will invest!
12934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE superSLEEPERS : good Alt Coins going unnoticed : [Long Term Investments] on: December 28, 2015, 11:19:11 AM
@toke "stands to be" not "is" ... future tense aka speculation

It is.  Bids and asks are thin.
12935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE superSLEEPERS : good Alt Coins going unnoticed : [Long Term Investments] on: December 28, 2015, 07:11:20 AM
Wtf are you talkng about?  The volume is under 3000 USD and the orderbook is almost illiquid.  Stay away.
12936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoCurrencies Technical Analysis on: December 27, 2015, 10:08:44 AM
Keep up the hard work.  We really appreciate it.
12937  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen if there's no price rise for the halfing? on: December 27, 2015, 09:37:40 AM
If the price doesnt rise then the miners stop mining because of  lack of profit, Once this happens the network becomes less secure and bitcoin starts dying off. Whats to stop this from happening?  Maybe we are getting to prices that cant be maintained with the current user base. I wasnt here at the last halfing and the price will need to be much higher so im not too sure what will happen.

Miners will have to sell more BTC to maintain operations.
12938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Roger Ver lost his fuckin' mind? on: December 27, 2015, 09:28:52 AM
