I was being sarcastic. When someone starts these threads the bagholding shills always come with their junk.
Sorry tokeweed, I didn't realise that you were being sarcastic. BTW are you bagholding BBQ? Huh? You retarded?

The supply reduction would make it easier to sell all the ninja mined coins if you cynically think about it.

No way! BBQCoin is the best! OP was not asking about which is the best coin and I am not here to debate which one is which I am looking for noteable altcoins to look into what other implementation of software there is out there. Among the thousands of altcoins, I was hoping at least a few would stand out and have some interesting implementations code wise that could be used as future sidechain concepts.
I know of Ethereum, which is however not Bitcoin code based, which wont fit my need. I am also familiar with Namecoin, which is the direction I am looking for other reimplementations at. Please dont spam me with a copy/paste coin as I am not here to invest, but just curious about the technicalities of alt-codes.

^ What's with the supply reduction? And how can they do that in the middle of the game? That's not good if you're trying to set up a 'currency'. I mean... wtf dude?

so i have no litecoin whatsoever, do you guys think i should put £100 into litecoin or into bitcoin? What would yous do in my shoes?
earlier in the year before the litecoin halfing im sure litecoin was pretty dead but then went up in price.
For a hundred quid? Don't expect much. I'd rather go play poker with it.

Litecoin is the safe haven coin. Volume good, liquidity good. No problems getting in or out.

Edited my post to...
Dash was ninja mined by the dev himself. I say good job to that. Long term success sacrificed for short term gain. That says a lot about the dev.
It could be good for you if you know how to trade and profit from it. If you're a miner, I'm not sure if it's profitable for a newcomer to mine it.

Agree with XRP. NXT also seems to be starting to move up to.
Yes: I notice that myself. The last dump was prompted by a big squabble between the core devs and a Nxt heavyweight, so this rise could be real: shaking off the aftereffects. NXT doesn't need Tenessee. A rising price is enough for people to notice.

Yup. You sure can. A lot of people here are very excited on what you could come up with. Make sure to hire a good marketing guy. Good luck!

got an email today that the dedicated stellar forum stellartalk is going to shut down by the end of the year. says everything about this coin. RIP
I saw it on twitter they were indeed shutting down for good after amassing a lot of money. ^ Lol. What?

Or could be the same one fooling around.
Anyway, how's the daily trading volume and liquidity of Aeon?

Bottom hit? Watch NXT. There's no breakout as of now, but t's good to put in your watchlist.

And Etherex. I hope it's something like what the Ripple exchange has where you can execute cross currency payments on the fly.

Can you make a more detailed post about that? Something a non-technical person can understand.

I think the thing going for Ethereum is it's attracting the builders/developers first, which I think is their no. 1 priority. And Microsoft offering cloud blockchain services is good for infrastructure for the said builders. It would make it easier for them to start creating stuff on Ethereum. But Ethereum's longterm success remains to be seen. But honestly I like what they're up to and I'm pretty excited on what people can build on it. This one caught my eye http://www.slock.it. Check it out.

Wtf are you talkng about?
We're talking about our holding, of course. Seriously, though: James has put in a lot of development work and it's coming to fruition. True, it's illiquid but a sleepers sometimes is illiquid because few people have heard of it. Granted that illiquidity makes for more risk than the norm, but BTCD still falls under the rubric of a high-risk speculation with potential. Lol. Ok. I will invest!

@toke "stands to be" not "is" ... future tense aka speculation
It is. Bids and asks are thin.
