12941  Economy / Speculation / Re: First Batch of $1,400 Stimulus Checks Hit Bank Accounts Starting Today on: March 14, 2021, 09:54:49 PM
You may be right with the price jumping $4,000+ so far today (and it's still the weekend globally) No doubt when the banks and markets open and week-day traders come online.

I feel Bitcoin will top $80,000 by the end of March (on its way to $100,000 in the next couple of months).

Perhaps there is no direct connection, rather the rise in price was caused by expectations. The speed at which the market reacted is too fast for this money to actually come to the market. But this is most likely good for the market, since the arrival of this money is ahead of us and it is likely that the target levels you specified will be achieved.
12942  Economy / Speculation / Re: Want to understand..... on: March 14, 2021, 09:22:18 PM
BTC is worldwide not only US.
There will always be news that you can correlate. Doesn't make it true...

On the one hand, this is so, on the other hand, the United States is one of the leading economies in the world and its influence on any processes is much greater than any country from the second hundred, isn't it?

As for the questions of the author of the topic about supply and demand, it must be clarified that we are always talking about effective demand. And everything immediately becomes clear  Smiley
12943  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: March 14, 2021, 09:13:34 PM
Athletes will ask themselves whether it is really worth taking part in corruption. When a tie is enough for 2 teams to make it to the next round of a tournament, you may wonder if that is corruption.

If we take it globally and for a long time, then corruption hurts everyone, even those who profit from it now. Another thing is that not everyone thinks globally (and sometimes this is correct, since circumstances are in most cases stronger than individuals), therefore, many athletes are involved in corruption in one way or another.
As far as your question about a draw is concerned, there is no corruption here (if there was no direct agreement), this is just an economy of effort. By the way, there are a lot of such examples in chess in recent years.
12944  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin will hit $60,000 today, what's next? on: March 14, 2021, 08:27:31 PM
It's not going up as what we are expecting, it looks like it's staying at $60k level, it suppose to breakout as it already reach a new ATH. I have a feeling that this pump might not continue and bitcoin will drop back below $60k, I hope my instinct is wrong.

If we consider this issue from the point of view of fixing profits, then I would do it on levels of more than 60k. The probability that bitcoin will do + 100% (will double) is much less likely that it will do -66% (will fall three times). If we talk about long-term investment, then you should not pay attention to today's price at all.
12945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: March 14, 2021, 08:22:38 PM
Such news is already beginning to annoy me greatly - the government has banned that, the government has forbidden it. I'm wondering how these ideas come about? Where did they come from? A parasite official sits and thinks - what should be further prohibited? Or is it a covert struggle of competitors and officials are used as a tool in it? I wish I knew the answers to the questions, but most of all I would like the government to meddle less in the private affairs of people and in private business.
12946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: March 14, 2021, 08:15:08 PM
If I'm not mistaken, one of these lucky/losers sold the rights to film his case in the cinema. The situation is standard - won something like $ 100 million, quickly spent it and returned to work as a loader. I don't know if the movie helped him to start moving forward again or not  Smiley
If a gambler won $ 100 million in a jackpot or lottery and then he loses all his money very quickly, then whose fault is this ? If the winner does not care about the money or if he is not willing to learn money management, then i am afraid he will never gain money even if he won a lot of money many times.

He did not lose his money, he spent it on a luxurious life - cocaine, prostitutes, expensive cars and so on. This is what attracted the writers who decided to make a film about this, I do not think that anyone would be interested in a film about an ordinary story - first a big win, then a big loss.

Smiley
Roll Eyes

12948  Local / Oбcyждeниe Bitcoin / Re: Комиссии за транзакцию on: March 14, 2021, 07:51:44 PM

12949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: March 13, 2021, 11:26:21 PM
I think that from the side of streamers this is a deception (if they did not warn their viewers), but from the side of the casino it is not. The casino can give even a million dollars for the game - this is an ordinary promotion, any attentive viewer will see how much money was lost before the planned win and draw conclusions.
Quite recently, by the way, Poker Stars handed out free tickets to the tournament to the top streamers of the twitch (for an ordinary participant, tickets would cost around $ 500) and the streamer had to show his participation in the tournament. Was this a scam? I think no.
12950  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: March 13, 2021, 11:07:59 PM
Strange situation. I can assume that your country is economically undeveloped. If economic processes are proceeding as they should, then corruption (and hence the destruction of sports) is simply unprofitable for those who are engaged in this.

I would like to draw your attention to another point - sport is very often associated with politics. And politics is the main environment for corruption. Therefore, I think the less participation of the state in such matters, the better for everyone. Sport is commerce and a businessman will not be acting to make a loss to his firm (unlike a corrupt politician).
12951  Local / Oбcyждeниe Bitcoin / Re: Комиссии за транзакцию on: March 13, 2021, 10:53:48 PM

12953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: March 13, 2021, 10:29:33 PM
I agree that even though you have money, you can't buy everything even you win $1B. But having such huge amount can make you or anyone happy by giving them what they need. It's the only thing that one who's in good status and very fortunate to give back if they want to bring smile to others face. Spending that money correctly and wisely will also rely on the attitude of the winner, too bad that there are wealthy winners that have been reported to be broke because they spent it like there's no tomorrow.

If I'm not mistaken, one of these lucky/losers sold the rights to film his case in the cinema. The situation is standard - won something like $ 100 million, quickly spent it and returned to work as a loader. I don't know if the movie helped him to start moving forward again or not  Smiley

12955  Economy / Speculation / Re: $25,000 can be achieved by end of year? Or January 2021? on: March 13, 2021, 10:13:11 PM
Once the market is bullish, the price is really unpredictable, it easily doubled that price and now bitcoin is already trading at $57k, and now only that, it looks like it will break out to $60k anytime soon and we might be surprise that a $100k will be achieve this year.

If the bull run will not stop, all I can say is that nothing is impossible.

Taking into account the fact that the entire market (especially the stock market) shows abnormal indicators (against the backdrop of the crisis) and recently there has already been a slight correction (for example, with Tesla shares), one can expect a sharp movement in both directions. Personally, I will not be surprised at either 100k or 10k in a week  Smiley
12956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thailand government seeks measures to tackle the problems of illegal gambling. on: March 13, 2021, 10:08:17 PM
Yes, when the government intervenes in the relations of adults, it always only hurts. If a person is considered mentally healthy, then he is free to decide where and how to spend his money. All these regulations and prohibitions waste taxpayers' resources and squeeze honest citizens into semi-criminal and criminal spheres.

I have to agree that corruption is rampant in most Asian countries.
You can easily bribe these government officials so you can go around the policies.
Their government may want to end this illegal gambling, but there are still officials that can be bribed.
And I don't think, they will be successful in tackling this problem.
They need to clean first the line up of their government officials.

Where there is a state, there is corruption (in civilized countries it just looks more decent). So if we want to get to the root causes and eliminate them, then we must reduce the power of the state and officials. I see no reason why the state should decide for me (an adult and capable) whether I can gamble or not.
12957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Services of betting on your behalf on: March 12, 2021, 11:24:21 PM
Don't take the risk by entrusting your funds to someone else. You could actually apply personal techniques in gambling which they couldn't do for you so you might only end up losing your money. You could actually enjoy and be entertained if you'll do it yourself. Betting brokers couldn't guarantee you a good winning because gambling will still be gambling no matter who would bet for you.

It is unreasonable to trust third parties not only with your money, but also listen to their advice (for money or for free). There is such a type of fraud - a "forecaster" sells (or simply gives for a promise to share future profits) forecasts for an event. He gives opposite predictions to different people, therefore, by deceiving one person, he makes a profit from another.
12958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thailand government seeks measures to tackle the problems of illegal gambling. on: March 12, 2021, 11:16:18 PM
If someone is operating an illegal casino despite the ban, then you can assume that he'll be having powerful connections (either with the politicians or with the police officials). Corruption is very prevalent in Asian countries (perhaps with the exception of Japan and Singapore), and Thailand is no different. The only outcome from this ban is going to be the shift of gambling industry from legal or semi-legal sector to the underground sector. The ordinary gamblers will face an increased risk of becoming victims of fraud, and the government will lose valuable tax revenue.

Yes, when the government intervenes in the relations of adults, it always only hurts. If a person is considered mentally healthy, then he is free to decide where and how to spend his money. 12959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What games are best suitable for PvP gambling? on: March 12, 2021, 11:06:06 PM
interesting, never though about gambling with chess before, Poker for me was an obvious answer but not chess.

there are also tournaments on boardgames and videogames, which are less obvious but can also bring the sameconcepts of playing for money and betting.

Chess becomes especially gambling when played with a short time control. For example, I play well when the whole game is given 3 minutes, and if the time control is 2 minutes, then pure adrenaline begins. Therefore, I do not play such games before bedtime - after that it is very difficult to fall asleep  Grin
12960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Trust In-House Casino Competition? (Wager/Multiplier/Raffle) on: March 12, 2021, 10:57:06 PM
Gambling site owners would neither be minding on having a temporal profit out of cheating or would really be minding about making money in long term ones.
So cheating out those competitions would be no point because once the masses or community got caught you then say goodbye into your business
Its true that even with just those typical house edge and methods you would really be definitely profit and thats the word or common saying that
house do always win.

We cant directly tell if they are doing this stuffs in the past and changed up when they get some recognition, no one really knows.

Even if they are not caught cheating, it will be an unprofitable undertaking. The point of bonuses is that in fact, they buy the loyalty of the player, and these bonuses are aimed specifically at the top players. If casino have not "bought" a player, then another casino will buy him, since a large player is a tasty morsel for any establishment. I read stories about how offline casinos paid the (top) players for flights and hotels and made a lot of profit because these gamblers lost much more than these costs.
