12961  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Placing machines outside on cold winter? -20 on: September 29, 2015, 07:19:13 AM
my electric bill is 0.05 cents kwh

Do you mean $0.05 kwh? I can't imagine such a low price as 0.05 cents kwh. Even $0.05 kwh is pretty low too.

Yeah still quite high for running few mahcines Cheesy.

Global market has statet that Electricity will keep falling down as the usage keeps raising they need to compete whit the global prices.

This is for 2016 the prices would be falling 0.01- 0.02 usd and some more .

0.05$/kwh is very cheap tbh! Prices are gonna go up imo.. ^^

He's picking on your grammar btw, 0.05 cent = 0.00005$, you obviously don't have 0.00005$/kwh prices Cheesy

is not a cent after 0. ? Tongue haha Wink,

But prices will keep falling, i've made some research.

Global comsumption is getting higher.

It don't mean it will go down to almost free from nowehre, it will take some time , specially were it is costly it might even take longer.

Companies always try to get you into contracts because the prices get lowered so if you bind yourself you will be paying 2 - 4 times more than what it should cost at current market price.

Personally I don't think if the Global comsumption is getting higher the prices will become lower. On the contrary, the higher the demand the higher the price. But I know it's not so unnatural to expect some tricks from the economics, so good luck.)
12962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If using cryptocurrencies become a crime, will you be a criminal? on: September 29, 2015, 06:54:33 AM
I will never feel like a criminal just because using cryptocurrencies, unless I use it to commit a crime  Cheesy

As far as I understand OP suggested a situation when just using cryptocurrencies is already a crime.

As for me, I would rather stop using it, but I would still buy it at low price and wait until it becomes legal to use it.

No politician is absolutely trustworthy, no doubt about that. However, if it comes to choosing one of them to become president you should  keep in mind that that person will be regarded as the face of your country by the outside world. I like to go around in my flat wearing just underpants because they are convenient and "trustworthy", but when I go outside I wear a suit.

is it normal, i can't access to pd for 48h now???

The site is working normally for me. Try to access it with a different browser.

What browser works for you? I haven't been able to access PD for months on Firefox. Just nothing loads at all.

I'm using Google Chrome now and everything's works fine, but I had similar problems several months ago on a different comp. The site was just loading forever. Everything's ok now though.

12966  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NASA has found water on MARS!! on: September 28, 2015, 01:16:44 PM
The flat-earthers would say that we haven't gone to Mars, or anywhere else "out there," and that NASA is all a lie to suck tax money out of the people.

Even if the flat-earthers are wrong, GET RID OF TAXATION, because it is making slaves out of people.

In this case, lots of people don't care one iota for stuff about MARS. They are too busy trying to find food for themselves and their family. GET RID OF TAXATION, because taxation is the reason that people are starving, while other people stupidly talk about water on Mars.

Smiley

Partly I agree with you, lots of stupid things which people don't need at all are sponsored by the Governmentget, but as everyone knows there are some useful things too, schools, hospitals, museums and scientific laboratories are among them. So maybe people should have more capability to controll where their taxes are going, but to get rid of taxation entirely is impossible in the modern world.

Schools are being used to brainwash the kids into thinking that there is a need for taxation and government.

Hospitals are using medicine to kill people - close to 100% of medicine is poison - rather than using nutrition to heal the people. And all this so that Big Pharma can make money, some of which they use to bribe government into letting them continue.

Museums are fun things rather than necessary things. They show us things of the dead that didn't help the dead to live.

Scientific laboratories live on a lie. They continue to bring up new theories that they can't prove, and then act like they are fact, knowing all along that they aren't. It's the engineers that make things work, mostly outside of the science that was discovered before. Then the scientists go and find out why the thing works, and take credit for something that the engineers put together.

Keep the engineers. Get rid of the taxation. Be free from the leaches.

Smiley

I can see your point. I was thinking the same way when I was much younger than I'm now.  Smiley
Then I realized that such claims may lead to a revolution which causes deaths of many innocent peolple ...

12972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: September 28, 2015, 09:18:03 AM
If you want to earn with gambling - you will definitely lose. From my experience only people who play for fun win occasionally.
Strategy? There is no guaranteed strategy to earn with gambling. All strategies work until they don't.

That is not entirely correct. It is very hard to be good at it, but there are some professional poker players and also professional sports betting punters, so it is possible.

I'm not saying that's impossible, all i'm saying is that in general If you want to earn with gambling - you will definitely lose. Of course there are some exceptions, but I've never met any in person. And one more thing: a professional gambler will never ask on a forum about a strategy to earn some money with gambling.
12973  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Indian Exports and Bitcoin on: September 28, 2015, 09:07:32 AM
Well there is one at least.

http://www.totalpayments.org/2013/11/26/indian-tea-exporters-loving-bitcoin-benefits/

Let's hope more companies like this one will appear in the future.
I dont think anyone will risk their business with bitcoin in absence of regulations and RBI explicitly accept btc as currency.Wouldn't they lose their export license and prefernces given to them as exporters? Would bitcoin be counted as foreign currency?

I didn't know that RBI has the power to deprive a company of its right to trade with a foreign country. If that's true then it's sad that a company which takes the risks to start using BTC risks to lose its export license.

P.S I hope you know the meaning of leaked.

I think harmouch means that the word "leaked" is often used by incompetent journalists from tabloids and because of that some people consider it as a red flag.

It looks like Mark Karpeles is not in prison now:

I have one friend who plays poker proffesionally and it is his job he can play it for 10 hours and have good profits at the end of the month. So not all types of gambling makes you lose money.

Well, your friend is an exception. Would he ask on a forum about a strategy to earn some money with gambling? I don't think so. I realize my words would have looked silly if I'd say them to him, but he's an exception.

12979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now & After 6 years , what the worst case scenario ? on: September 27, 2015, 02:47:17 PM
The worst case scenario IMO is a panic among Bitcoin holders when the price of bitcoin is dropping. If all of the Bitcoin holders will start selling their BTC fearing that they'll lose even more if they wait a couple of days the consequences of the panic could be disastrous. Fortunately this won't happen because there are enough smart folks among BTC holders who will start buying at low price.   Wink
12980  Economy / Economics / Re: What's pushing up the price today ( Sept 24th ) on: September 27, 2015, 10:35:58 AM
Actually they only are planning to do that: "According to a report of Interfax, the Russian government lately approached the regulators with its plan to criminalize the use and issuance of Bitcoin under the new money surrogate law. If enacted, the amended bill will effectively impose ban on all kind of Bitcoin activities, including trading, mining and transactions."(c)http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/09/24/russia-planning-to-criminalize-bitcoin-activities/

Did I say anything to the contrary?
Well, firstly, I'm not a big fan of "Soviet Russia" as you call it (and you are right in a way, the country is really step by step going now back to it's Soviet past), but I just thought that your words

Quote
anything including mining, trading, and even spreading information about Bitcoin as well as distributing Bitcoin related software will incur either a penalty, correctional labor, or imprisonment under a criminal prosecution.

may make an impression that this is already happening right now.

I absolutely agree with you on this. The the Russian Government are evil bastards, everyone who loves freedom knows they are.
