Olha ali no ICODROPS ETH ROI, BTC ROI.

12984  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ICO or Airdrop? on: February 21, 2018, 10:09:11 AM
Can someone explain me, what is the different between ICO & Airdrop? I still don't understand

Hello,

I will try to give a simple explanation.

Airdrop is the same as free money.
You put your address in the token website, and they give you a few coins (most times worth less than 1 USD).
Or a new token decides to give few tokens for a coin holder. For example, they give 10 TOkens for each Ether you hold... for free, to give a new token a good distribution

ICO is a initial coin offering.
A new token born, and you can invest (with USD, Ethereum or Bitcoin usually) and you will receive tokens for your investment.
I made a post about ICOs here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2985611.0;topicseen

ICO and airdrop are not related. Sometimes a new Token opens an ICO and airdrop some coins for good distribution....
12985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: big transactions fees are a problem for bitcoin!!? on: February 21, 2018, 02:38:09 AM
Segwit wallets make transactions pretty fast and cheap already. The last one I made was like 2 USD.

Either way, if price is below 5 USD i think it´s ok. Bitcoin is not going to be used to buy bread. To buy bread you can use a fiat altcoin. For internacional transactions bitcoin is already cheaper than SWIFT or a credit card (most times)

Porque elas são revolucionárias? on: February 21, 2018, 12:05:37 AM

12989  Economy / Speculation / Re: So, what's an ICO and why is it revolutionary? on: February 20, 2018, 08:58:43 PM
nah...
IPO doesnt have that gains for the reasons mentioned above. Just look at charts.

People never had access to those gains like 700% in 2 months (which are pretty common in ICO), 5000% like OmiseGO... now that people have access to it, they act with disregard...

ICO are revolutionary because we are now out of the stock market, out of wall street, financial system...

12991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 250 ETH, Hold or SELL? on: February 20, 2018, 07:31:29 PM
I think you should sell until you have equal amounts (ins USD) of BONDS / ETF (Exchange trading funds) / Ethereum.

Then hodl Ethereum until 2020 at least.
12992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $0.10? on: February 20, 2018, 07:26:11 PM
Guys, can you tell me some coins that are under $0.10 right now and that maybe you are holding? Or even if you're not. I'm trying to put a little in few of them. First I'll do the research of course but if you have any suggestion in which such coin to look at I'd appreciate it. Smiley

Please listen to this.
The price of the coin doesn't matter. This does not work the way you think it does.

What is important é the marketcap.

If you are looking for "cheap" coins, you need to look for coins with small capitalization, not with low price.

For example, INS Ecosystem (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ins-ecosystem/) is just out of the ICO and is being negociate at 3.00 USD with a marketcap (capitalization) of 78million USD.

On the other hand Ripple costs 1.43 USD (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ripple/) and has a marketcap of 43 BILLION USD.

It's very important that you understand this. The 78 million USD is being distributed in INS along all his coins (28 million coins), which are much fewer than ripple.
Ripple has 39,009,215,838 coins!!! This is why ripple looks cheap, but total capitalization is very high.

When you are looking for a coin, ignore it's price and look at capitalization and circulating supply.

Go to http://www.coinmarketcap.com and look for coins with less than 500 million capitalization if you want small caps.

Want a suggestion? Chainlink.

I hope I was clear.
GOod luck!

12995  Local / Criptomoedas Alternativas / Porque investir em ICO? Porque elas são revolucionárias? on: February 20, 2018, 04:14:20 PM

12997  Economy / Speculation / So, what's an ICO and why is it revolutionary? on: February 20, 2018, 02:42:27 PM
I have seen a lot of people asking what is an ICO. I will try to explain what it is here, and why is it so important to cryptocurrencies and to us, small investors.

ICO means Initial Coin Offering. When a company wants to capitalize, it can open an IPO (in a common stock market) or an ICO. An ICO is similar to an IPO.
In a ICO the company capitalizes through cryptocurrencies, mainly Ethereum and Bitcoin. So the company doesn't need to go the stock market any more.

The problem with IPO is that most capitalization occurs pre IPO, when only a few registred investors (whales) can buy the shares.

For years the Banks and a few elite individuals were the only ones who could invest in pre IPO. The made billions and billions, like facebook that jumped from 0 marketcap to 50 billion market before the IPO and we, small investors could invest only after those crazy gains. The same with all other nice companies, GoPro, Amazon...

Cryptocurrency, the whole satoshi vision, is revolutionary because it's empower the individuals. The true community. For the first time in history we, common people, are now able to
chose a company with a good idea, invest in its ICO, see it mature and receive our 1.000% gains. There are pre-ICOs, but they are not compared with pre IPO.

If you take a look at this website https://icodrops.com/ico-stats/ you will see that many ICO have 10x, 20x, 30x and even 50x gains (this last one is OmiseGO).

Amazing isnt it? And before cryptocurrencies only few investors had access to it! Now we have it too!

The problem is, the reward is high, so is the risky. There are many scams out there. Many ICO which were abandoned after the capitalization...

So, how to chose one?
So it's always important to take a look at whitepapers, look at team on Linkedin, look for info about the company on Reddit, telegram... there are few websites like http://icobench.com/ and https://icorating.com/ which rate ICO, so they are a good start.

This is very important. Only as a beta tester you are able to add bitcoin atom

when will be coinomi available?

That's my question too. Already in December 2017 there was this article from coinomi on Medium:

https://medium.com/@coinomi/coinomi-announces-support-for-bitcoin-atom-bca-bf666e1d5e7f

When trying to add this coin (yes, with newest version of Android wallet v1.8.0) I couldn't find it on the list. Also on coinomis website https://coinomi.com/ there are many coins, but Bitcoin Atom is missing.

Strange.

BCA is already available in Coinomi beta at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.coinomi.wallet

I love coinomi

Just recovered my coins there

Its sad that my entry didn't make it to the line-up. I'm pretty sure I submitted before the deadline, so it has to be due to "other problems", whatever it may be.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/9c9vho13b9bcx9r/Mobile-02_300x250.gif?raw=1

Question: I don't have the vote option, Is it because I'm a newbie?

I think your banner was better than most of those in the line up.

I was pretty upset too because I made 2 banners, one is on the line up and the other isnt. I think the one that isn't on the line-up is better than most of banners in the line-up too.
I didn't like the way this was organized....

IF there was something wrong with the text, they should contact us and ask for a change in the text (which takes a few minutes only).

Probably your banners are not in the line-up because of the text message (which was different from most).
